Miss-U

I fell in love with this fragrance from the very first moment, and I can’t stop thinking about when I’ll get my next bottle, this time the 100ml. Miss_u strikes me as a very, very sensual and feminine fragrance. On my skin, I get a light citrus opening, almost like orange blossom rather than orange itself, so it’s not sharp or pungent. Soon after, it develops into an ambery heart with soft powdery, woody, musky nuances: warm but never overwhelming. It doesn’t evolve too much, quickly settling into a body scent while still leaving a subtle trail. It’s not intrusive or tacky. Working in a hospital, I find it perfect, classy and elegant without being overly persistent. The only downside is that it doesn’t last very long; after about 6 hours I’m left with just a faint memory of it. Still, for me, it’s a 10/10.

This fragrance is just like a long hug from my boyfriend. For a very anxious person like me it's heaven. Just after spraying it I scan mell some citrus that evolve quickly in something a bit spicy (ginger), this sent isn't overwhelming but embrace you. After 30 mins It gets sweeter and I start smelling oud too. It makes me so relaxed and now I'm addicted to it. Almost finished my botte in 3 months! I had some Guidance tester and layered it with this one (just two pumps), my colleagues at work complimented me so much.

Miss U is much richer and more spicy than Meharees. They are in the same woody spicy family but intensity here is much higher

Memories came flooding back from the 80s when I first smelled this. Obsession for men by Calvin Klein. Love.

Turning the feeling of “missing someone” into scent. Recently this has been one of my most worn fragrances, like a warm breath resting softly against the skin. The opening is bright citrus peel with a faint bitterness. It lasts only briefly before shifting into a gentle woody warmth. The oud is treated very lightly here, without animalic heaviness or density. It sits quietly beneath the vanilla and guaiac wood. The spice is also restrained, carrying a slight cooling sensation, apparently coming from Sichuan pepper. The vanilla is not particularly sweet, and the cinnamon never pushes the fragrance into gourmand territory. Everything feels controlled, soft, even slightly blurred around the edges. Connected with its theme, Miss_U smells like the trace someone leaves behind after they have gone. The door has already closed, but the air in the room has not yet returned to normal. Clothing, skin, wooden furniture, and a faint vanilla powderiness blend together into something intimate and close to the body. That blended effect is important, because the beauty of the fragrance does not come from any single material standing out. It comes from everything being softened into a lingering impression. The result captures the feeling of a person no longer being physically present while their scent still remains nearby. The transitions between stages are not especially dramatic, particularly through the middle and drydown. Once the opening fades, the fragrance settles into a soft warm wood structure built around light oud and amber. Longevity is moderate. After about four hours it becomes very close to the skin. For people whose imagination is more sensitive than their nose, this fragrance offers a great deal of space to project emotion and memory onto it.

So, I found my old review where I was in love with this. It sure hit me differently after a year of letting it sit. Wasn't sure how I felt about it, but it's growing on me again. This perfume is a spicy, woody bomb with a vanilla accord whispering in the mix. It does lean very masculine on me, at this point, but I'm not one to stick to perfume rules. Oh would I love this on a man...sigh. On me, I think it needs a flower or more of an orange note. With 400 perfumes, it's easy to forget one here n there, which is what I did with this one.. I'm going to try experiment. I have a couple in mind. Will return with results. My first idea is Orange in Chestnut, by Scents of Wood. It's rather weak but delightful.

Had a tester of this. Cloying amber, woody, kind of playfully spicy. Sweet in a weird way, like soda that lost its carbonation but is still cold. To me, due to personal experiences, it smells like that red carpet pic of Trisha Paytas and Ghislane Maxwell with the bold red text over it that screams "I got some dope ass memories with some people I’ll never fuck with again". Glad I gave away my tester to this person.

I like it. Masculine scent. Spicy and woody. Mainly get Guaiac wood, pepper and patchouli. Great for cooler weather.

clean citrus, woody and spicy, very comforting scent, on the spray it's a bright citrus that turns into wood/ambroxan mixed with vanilla, the dry down gets a bit quiet and even more comforting, you can tell there's a decent amount of ambroxan but it's well made and balanced among the vanilla, oud and a quiet pepperiness/spiciness, over time it shifts into something pretty different, almost synthetic, lighter and smoother than before, but that syntheticness ends up ruining it for me a bit, then that syntheticness goes away, then comes back, which is weird what's interesting is the sillage reminds me of a perfume my dad uses, but up close it's different, the two are pretty different depending on the distance which I find really curious, only after hours, the close up gets closer to the sillage leans a bit more masculine but still very usable as unisex, the woodiness is smooth and balanced enough to not be overpowering

There is something about this fragrance that smells absolutely sickening and I’m not sure what it is because all the notes seem like they’d add up to be beautiful. I almost couldn’t bring myself to spray it on my skin, but I bit the bullet and did to give it a fair shot. Still sickening. I swear I think it’s the patchouli that I’m picking up that is just dominating all the other notes and causing this to become a headache and nausea inducing mess of a fragrance. I can’t pick up the Guaiac Wood at all and that’s one of my favorite notes in perfumery and one of the reasons I chose to get a sample of this. There’s no cinnamon to be found, either. It’s really just a big vanilla-tchouli bomb with some odd citrus overtones and a stank that I can’t wait to wash off. 0/10

A cozy, gentle and fluffy musky cloud of cinnamon crème brûlée with guaiac wood and balsamic patchouli. Sounds dense and chewy, but it’s rather powdery and diffused. There’s a twist of distinctive tangerine to add bit of freshness and juiciness. It’s somewhere between FM Musc Ravageur and BDK Crème de Cuir, but since I find it to be more powdery - it interprets as more feminine leaning. It also carries a bit of the nostalgic aspects and traditional vibe of some long missed (see what I did here) discontinued fragrances like ... Midnight in Paris by VC&A, Bvlgari Black (the bottle looking like a tire) ... The longevity too is comparable to those fragrances and may not be satisfying to some, but I’m ok with it ~3-4 hours, then it melts into a warm skin scent. I don’t perceive it to be oud dominant - that’s why I didn’t include the note in my brief description, but I do catch a trace amount of tamed oud adding lightness to the composition. People who find powdery accords challenging should better test before buying merely based on voted resemblance (when I say “powdery” I’m referring to Rosendo Mateu 5 powdery aspects in the drydown). I feel it’s a very versatile autumn perfume for those who enjoy this profile, due to which I expect to reach a lot for this season. It’s also cozy enough to enjoy at home and inoffensive enough to wear at work. I can’t wait to try it with Crème de Cuir hair mist and follow-up by rediscovering some of my other spicy lactonic fragrances, floral ambery musks and some of the discontinued ones which play on some of Miss-U’s notes: Vanille de Zanzibar Boucheron; L de Lolita Lempicka; Meharées L'Erbolario; Paithani Penhaligon's; 21 CoSTUME NATIONAL... etc ..

When i smelled it from the sprayer and the cap...immediately it reminded me of FM MR...no doubt...when i put it on my skin for 20 min i felt nothing..to my amazement..after that time it slowly started that it works...but not like MR...but between MR...and Palo Santo Carner Barcelona .which I adore..but it doesn't work well on my skin...After the opening of Miss in ..it started to work and project at the same volume for 5-6 h...which is commendable..every movement of my hand..felt in the air...the middle and the end of Miss u...is a mix..CB Palo Santo with a little added spiciness like that like in Grand Soir..let's say..big YES..from me for this perfume..who loves this direction.

Not for me. It might work better for a man, even though it's not a "masculine scent". The reason I dislike it is that it's too sweet actually. It has a sweetness that is nauseating to me because it's mixed with the woody notes. In the beginning it seems like it will be a nice everyday, airy type of scent but it becomes heavier and sweeter as it evolves. Nice longevity and projection.

TF Noir de Noir + Ambervanilla It smells like Ceylon tea. No oud. Super warm. Dense.
