Nektar

Nektar is an exceptional winter aromatic gourmand. I say winter because this scent is strong, projecting well and absolutely not suitable for summertime weather. The composition of Nektar is very complex with multiple notes on every level but besides the sweet, balsamic, ambery, gourmand notes, what I can smell most prominent is a very aromatic davana paired with clary sage, two notes which I adore in all the fragrances I have encountered so far. The aromatic and freshness of the herbs cuts through the sweetness of Sidr honey, tiramisu, cinnamon, vanilla and tonka beans. There’s some patchouli, elemi and olibanum thrown into the mix which bring depth, some contrast and warmth to the scent. The way I perceive this scent is that it is a very complex one but it is built mostly around the juxtaposition between a sweet side and an aromatic side. But the overall result is a smooth, balanced, warm and rich fragrance. I am not aware if there’s anything similar on the market to Nektar currently, but I am sure that for the price that Laboratorio Olfattivo sells their fragrances, you can’t buy anything comparable! It’s an absolute bargain and banger for sure! So good and so underrated, very high quality... Also perfectly unisex, don’t be afraid of the dark coloured bottle.

Nektar Smells absolutely nothing like silky woods or angels share so let's get that straight from square 1. I own all 3 so no. It may share a note from silky woods and the sweetness of angels share but they are not similar. Does it smell like Mercedes club black? NOOOO you need a rhinoplasty and some Afrin. Nektar is beautiful and sweet almost leaning gourmand but I wouldn't put it quite there. It has a fruityness I can't really pinpoint I think because its so balanced with resins and leathery notes. The opening is a bit herbal but that dies down and I pick up patchouli definitely as it dries down. Hard to really explain I don't have much in my collection that smells like it! I really love it however

This one is just too good. It has an awesome honey note accompanied by beautiful citruses, cinnamon, tonka and woody notes. You cannot hate this, it makes you smile when you feel it in the air around you. There is nothing wrong about it. It even has good projection and longevity (8-10 hours, leaves a trail and the people around you will smell it for sure even after 4 hours). This doesn't need a fancy review. It speaks for itself.

The smell is wonderful, feminine, sweet. To my nose honey is dominant in this perfume, but not obtrusive and not too sweet. Since the fragrance opens with spicy notes that fade later, and I'm a lover of spicy perfumes, it was a quick and rash decision to buy a full bottle at the original store while I was in Italy. I was in the mountains for the weekend and I brought this fragrance with me. I wore it all day while it was foggy and gloomy. My boyfriend was smoking cigarettes, which i hate, but it complimented this fragrance so much and the combination of the mountains, fog, cool breeze, cigarettes, and this perfume felt like a dream come true for someone who loves perfumes as much as I do.

This is absolutely beautiful! It goes on quite fresh and aromatic, which I didn't expect so much (but which I do really like) but it dries down much warmer, and more gourmand. It's a beautiful blend. The tiramisu note is a bit non-descript to me. I believe its a good performer, but honestly, it's so gorgeous that I definitely like reapply.

Warm, but does well in summer heat. Honey is not too gourmand with a faint edge of pepper. Dries down a bit sweet with vanilla.

This is very interesting perfume. Not so sweet, but very tasty. Is office friendly, but still very unique. I just love it.

I just ordered mine and received it, I can't wait to try it ! It was a blind buy however, I am sure it is worth it !

It's a sticky resinous, aromatic, spicy honey and I absolutely want to bathe in it!

Definitely get warm amber fuzziness testing this fragrance blind. I get a hint of spice but it doesn't become to coying or desperately fall-like. There's a sweetness too that is present but not overly done. It has a nice warm and friendly hug vibe, staying a little short from becoming too romantic. The variety of notes is a little much. While most are present and can be found, the frankincense, sage, and and amber notes stick out to me the most, but tiramisu as the sweetness feels off. It feels more vanilla and honey to me. The citrus notes also do not feel present. Regardless, the familiar warmness leaves a pleasant presence on a cool or cold and crisp day.

Got a nice spray sample of this from Ministry of Scent last week. Primarily I'm getting the honey, leather, resins and berries. The Yemeni Sidr honey note referenced in the product copy is very rich — addictive honestly — and shines atop a sultry, resinous base. I tend to avoid tonka bean and vanilla -- I know vanilla's quite essential to perfumery but the two just evoke mass market flankers that defined my teenage years. That said, I think my Le-Male-wearing teenage self would be crazy impressed to see me smelling like Nektar. In his best world, I was just affording some flanker like Aventus

Nektar completely caught me by surprise. The honey is very present, but never cloying, it blends beautifully with spices, a resinous touch, and a warm base that makes it incredibly addictive. It feels enveloping and elegant: sweet, but with real character. It’s one of those fragrances you keep wanting to smell over and over again. The profile is honeyed, spicy, and woody. I already adore Tonkade, Vanagloria, Vanhera, Arancia Rossa, and Bergamotto from Laboratorio Olfattivo, and Nektar definitely joins that list.

Was unimpressed by this on paper, but now that I'm trying it on my skin, the gourmandness of it is really coming out, and it's quite beautiful. It's honey and woodsiness with a little bit of resin and spice. Super cozy, I'd wear this at home, and I'm taking it off my de-stash list. Can't say anything for longevity as I sprayed it on about 10 minutes ago, but it's rapidly warming on my skin, and other notes are coming out. I give it an 8/10. If you like spicy, warm gourmands, Nektar is absolutely worth a shot.

this is a verrrryyy aromatic and slightly herbal honeyed vanilla with fresh woody accords. I don’t really get any citrus here even in the opening, but I definitely do get a lot of the clary sage, it’s fresh, ambery and very herbaceous. The heart of this is where it starts to become gourmand, with a very noticeable tiramisu note but with contrasting herbal and green honey, only a hint of leather. The dry down is creamy and sweet woody musk, with an undertone of fresh patchouli.

Honey, red berries, and leather, in that order. It is sweet and warm and a little delicate, like it is asking for you to take slow sips and ration its delicacy. Really lovely, but this one lacks the oomph and longevity I need for a fragrance to stand on its own. I could see this being a wonderful embellishment layer atop something drier and more leathery (maybe Vanagloria?)

I like it. Nice gourmand scent. Unisex. Great for cooler weather.

First impression: Opens quite sweet, which i don't mind. Almost like a cherry, or maybe even cherry pipe tobacco top note. So far not picking any tiramisu, marketing? As for now, not unique enough to pick up for me, i've smelled similar things at department stores if i'm being honest. For those who enjoy sweet fragrances, you will most likely enjoy this. This one isn’t for me—my sample will be sufficient. It falls in the soft/comforting category for me and I wear scents like that pretty seldom (though I like some of them). The fresh beginning is nice; the leather is very safe. If the notes appeal certainly try it , but I find the dry down goes a bit sour on me.

I didn’t really appreciate this one from Laboratorio Olfattivo. It’s quite pungent in the opening which I didn’t expect (maybe something boozy), it’s loud which I usually don’t like. There’s a great quantity of notes which is hard (for me at least) to distinguish. It’s not bad, just not for me.

Quite alluring and interesting blend of leather, honey, and vanilla, but the sage and patchouli take this fragrance to a medicinal place, so it ends up smelling almost like a salve in the end.

Mmmm. So incredible. Kind of a cross between a woody and a gourmand, that starts with the most intriguing blend of pink pepper, sage and elemi. I was able to pick out each of those notes individually, and together they added a balsamic and herbaceous aromatic top section to the densely gourmand middle notes of Nektar that really made it pop and start in an unexpected way on the skin.. And what a middle this has. Lush dense honey, milky tiramisu and leather are a velvety thick and rich counterpoint to the energetic top notes. Olibanum adds a fruity spiciness. Together, they’re so good, kind of how adding salt to a chocolate truffle can bring out its flavors in an unexpected way. An almondy tonka, creamy vanilla, and cinnamon combine to add more gourmand elements I swoon for in a woods base that is smooth as silk. It’s rich and deep but not overly sweet, reminiscent of the best desserts, the kind you get in a starred restaurant . As soon as I smelled this I ordered the 30 ml size, I don’t want to be without it. It lasts 12+ hours on skin.

I am very surprised with this brand in a very pleasant way, I found out about Laboratorio Olfattivo just this year and I already have a few perfumes from them that I would like to own in the future. Nectar is surely one of them! First of all this is not very similar to Killian - Angels Share, what I think they may be in the same category, so if you like Angels Share you will probably like this one, but they are not really similar. I see some comments mentioning the boozy note they feel, and I get a hint of it too maybe it's the elemis note. To me this is a very warm gourmand scent, balanced out perfectly, totally unisex, elegantly sweet, no juneville sweetness here at all. It's deeper and a bit aromatic, to me this is the perfect scent for fall and winter when the air gets a little crispy. Very warm and inviting scent. I think the patchouly note makes this perfume more grounded, but if you are not a fan of patchouly don't be discouraged to try, here it is not overpowering, very calm and quiet. I am actually a fan of aromatic notes mixed with vanilla, and here the combination is superb, the notes don't overpower one another. As I mentioned totally unisex - and I can imagine this scent when you want to dress up a bit or be casual - goes perfectly both ways, so I'd say versatile for sure. For the price... this is amazing, feels very niche and luxurious, when I tried Laboratorio Olfattivo perfumes I was surprised that this stuff does not cost around 200$, because they do feel very high class. I do appreciate that the brand suggests 30ml so it's easier to try and later commit to 100ml bottle if you enjoy the scent, which is most likely that you will :D Guys! Don't sleep on this, this is gonna be another banger for sure!

The medicinal aromatic aspect is quite tame for men. I can see some women expecting this to be a light honey nectar to be dissapointed however. I would describe the opening a Coca-Cola or root beer with red berries and honey. Not necessarily cherry but a more generic red berry (which imo is better than cherry). Not he dripping rich honey I expected either. Goes more into a smooth vanillic drydown rather than anything truly honey-ish. Lots of nuances but still light. Fun but not childish and still has restraint and body. I think it’s quite unique. I rate it highly but idk why I’m not feeling excited to get a bottle. Maybe if it was a little more powerful.

It opens up beautifully, the notes are right up my alley, but the more I smell it the more synthetic it gets, and I can't get past it. It has a similar sweetness to it as BDK's Tabac Rose. Unfortunately, there is something about this bold, sweet and synthetic DNA that a lot of those modern big niche brands have (Maison Crivelli, Initio, Montale etc) that I find slightly nauseating. I am well aware that most perfumeries use synthetic ingredients- but to me, the finished product should not *feel* synthetic and overwhelming.

sprayed this on my wrist from the morning and i can still smell it on my skin till the next morning.The more it lingered on my skin the more i liked it. It does smell overwhelming sweet but the Tonka bean is very visible which helps balance it, but overall its spicy, woody and herbal didn't expect to like this since its too sweet for my preference. just a warm honey that's spiced, it's like eating a honey comb in a dark forest!

I do get the silky woods comparison but to me this is more reminiscent of a fragrance from PDM. Oajan maybe? It’s spicy and sweet and there’s something creating a jammy rose accord. Doesn’t project all that much tho unfortunately but when it does it smells amazing. A girl complimented me multiple times saying my cologne was nice and very different.

Smelt in store today on my wrist. It's lovely, kept smelling it every few seconds. Has that molecule undertone tonkadee and bangers have. Kept thinking I have this already, and it hit me. It's similar to Arabians tonka! Lovely scent but you definitely don't need both.

This is a really well done fragrance. I have a hard time believing anyone would criticize the quality of this. Although it smells a little too resinous and mature for my personal style, it's really a beautiful honeyed aromatic scent with a spicy touch.

Trying this today and it's got a strong, sharp aroma chemical smell going on to my nose...maybe what is being used for the leather or cedar. I can see the comparisons to Tonka Bodykon but the latter has lots of apple and is sweeter and smoother.

It feels similar to Tobacco Vanille mixed with Tobacco Honey....sweet, resinous, and spicy. I think there might be some Ambroxan or a similar aromachemical here... A sample is enough for me.

Truly Divine. Love at first sniff. The honey and sweetness lasts on my for hours, this scent takes me places that I love. ❤️ just beautiful.

If I had to choose one item to preserve once humanity is gone, I'd choose nektar. Sounds dramatic, I'm not exaggerating.

A bit too sweet so I usually spray once behind the neck, but a delicious winter fragrance
