Eau de Lacoste L.12.12 Pour Elle French Panache

I got this for the champagne note & it did NOT disappoint, might even make it my overall signature. For a “sporty” fragrance it smells really fancy.

I was sure it had a rhubarb. Wanted to try it because I saw rhubarb in the notes, love rhubarb, but gave up as couldn't find a tester. Finally managed to find it, tried it and its opening is identical to Nina Ricci Ricci and I can clearly detect rhubarb, unless I'm confusing it with blackcurrant, which never happened before but maybe with champagne (?). Anyway, the opening is spicy fruity and feels red. Transition to drydawn is quick, 15min and it becomes absolutely dominated by patchouli, but with the opening vibe remaining in the background. It's actually a good fragrance but only if you like dusty or woody patchouli. Longevity and projection are moderate. Dont think you can over spray it. Definitely has strong similarities with Ricci Ricci but minus the tuberose which I never liked.

There is a nicely sweet, yet bit greenish (can almost smell black currant leaves mixed with patchouli) & mostly sour juicy note to it, probably mixture of black currant, bergamot and champagne to which red pepper adds spiciness & helps to bring all this beautiful blend forth. It all is rounded up in gentle woodiness. I think color of the bottle suites the content very well. If only the white lead was better made(a magnetic lead would be perfection, but oh well), now it takes an effort to take it off. Overall, a beautiful perfume with a character - a big like from me.

Summer scent for me ! I wore this one evening and got so many compliments. I definitely smell the black currant and champagne but not sweet on me. Overall i like this scent.

This is so uplifting!! The fruits are definitely there, the first minutes are amazing and really lovely.
