Eau de Lacoste L.12.12 Pour Elle Natural

I was hunting everywhere for this, as I decided to pick up a Lacoste perfume as my Husband has a few Lacoste colognes and I appreciate they are formulated for activity. I decided to go for it and blind buy and was not disappointed. The initial top of pineapple/mandarin/raspberry green is very refreshing. As it dries down to the heart, the white flower jasmine is somewhat starchy-powdery with the orris and rose. Rose is usually a bit too powdery for me unless the orris is added, it gives it that starchy nuance that takes it away from that old school rose smell. The sandalwood/coconut/amber is a lovely base, slightly sweet. Very nice finish. The mid/base are like a sportier Calvin Klein Eternity Intense. Both share orris/sandalwood/rose. I'm so happy with this blind buy, very happy to have a sportier version of a perfume I love to wear in a more formal setting. I recommend if you are active/in a warm climate.

I had originally gotten a 10ml travel spray and I loved it so I decided to buy the full size. It’s very fresh, clean,and I think the name natural suits it well! I happen to love all of the ones that are like this! It’s veryoffice safe, inoffensive and would be a great kind buy! I look forward to finishing off the heat of summer wearing this-I always sayi don’t let seasons or times dictate what fragrance I wear but this one is certainly a good fit for spring and summer, and the clean and fresh aspect of it makes it so you really can wear it year round!!!

It's so refreshingly delicious! Absolutely wonderful and juicy. Lots of pineapple and coconut which oddly doesn't add up to sickening sweet pina colada. Instead it's so juicy and just the right amount creamy. Such a shame that it has 0 sillage and longevity. Would've been a keeper otherwise.

This is one of my favourite fragrances. It's such an easy scent to wear, imo it fits every occasion, as well as every season. It's fresh - but not too fresh, sweet - but not too sweet, sexy - but in a discreet way. Absolutely beautiful and you get value for your money. A great blind-buy.

different than other "fresh" perfumes has a certain softness in the base notes, not screechy. nice for daily use, soft to moderate sllage.

I have a little tester vial and wore it twice so far. The opening confuses me a little bit. For me the first spritz is coconut water with little pineapple and a dash of... cucumber?!! I really like it though, tropical and fresh. In the dry down it gets more cozy creamy for me, with orris, vanilla and rose blending very nicely but also very close to the skin, while tiny fruity notes still poke their head out once in a while. In my mind this performs more like a body mist, than an eau de toilette. It's definitely a very soft and all over low performance fragrance, but I do think it would make a great non-intrusive everyday pick for the summer. To be honest, I kind of want a bottle... maybe not at full price, but when I come across one on discount, I may just go for it.

From the notes you’d think this scent would be quite tropical but it’s definitely not, it’s a light fruity fragrance with some green and floral notes but that’s it. I get a little bit of pineapple and raspberry, then jasmine, then amber once it dries down. The coconut is completely undetectable in my opinion which I’m fine with but will probably disappoint other people. I got this as a gift and I love wearing it around the house or after a shower but I wouldn’t wear this out because the projection and lasting power aren’t the best. If you actually want a strong pineapple fragrance Angel Iced Star by Mugler is meant to be amazing but you’ll have to hunt for it on eBay as it’s been discontinued.

Sweet and tropical?! On me this is a fresh floral aquatic. I thought it was rose and lotus with some cucumber and lily of the valley and something green. Now when I saw the pyramid, yes there is pineapple, but my nose can not detect at all any coconut. I really like the fragrance, it's nice for spring and summer and when you want to smell nice while you are working out.

Well that's a barely there fragrance. After a few hours it's almost gone. The scent is not bad, it's a soft tropical fruity scent, very mild. I can sense raspberry and pineapple in it. Still, I wouldn't recommend this, because it seems to have the sillage and longevity of a body spray. I think it might be my favorite from that line.

Looking at the notes, it seems very fruity. Actually smelling it, it registers more "abstractly" fruity - I can notice the pineapple, the coconut, the mandarin orange and the raspberry, but it thankfully manages to avoid going full-on fruit salad. The drydown reminds me a bit of Beyonce Heat Wild Orchid or Katy Perry Meow.

Very sweet--smells like one of those electric blue fruity drinks with an umbrella in it. Definitely get the pineapple. Unfortunately there is so much going on with it that it comes across as something much cheaper and less sophisticated than I was expecting just from looking at the bottle.

Gorgeous, woody raspberry with orris root, really sweet, unfortunately slightly spoilt by amber which makes it cloying. Otherwise it's a beautiful, well-blended, soft, close-to-skin perfume, great for office, especially in winter.

Very nice summery fragrance, unobtrusive, office safe. I agree that it has a lot of softness. However, something 'extra' is missing. Update: In heat it's quite sweet.

sounds like Pina Colada - I want it badly! I dont like the bottle, though, too plain

Category: Sweet, fruity, powdery Notes: Heavy on the jasmine with a sweet and syrupy pineapple in support. There is some orris in the background as well, but it is mild and unassuming. With time the syrupy and fruity aspects diminish in favor of a creamy sandalwood and some residual orris leaving a slight powderiness. While there is definitely what I would describe as a creamy undertone in the base, I wouldn't attribute it to coconut. If anything I’d describe it as buttercream - fatty and sweet, but no apparent coconut. The overall scent impression starts out as fruit candies and lands in fruit scented erasers. Vibe: Candy. Pink. Back to school. Girl's locker room. Ice cream float. Syrup. Vacation mocktails. Maraschino cherries. Flavored lipgloss. Scented erasers. Sillage: 6/10. For the first hour or so this has a really impressive projection, definitely extending beyond an arm's length. But, it does unfortunately diminish in strength quickly after about an hour and within the second hour is pretty much a skin scent. Longevity: 3/10. Crap performance in terms of longevity. A skin scent within 2 hours and practically gone within 3. Wear: Daytime. Spring or summer. Office wear approved, as it is sweet and approachable. Hyper-feminine and extremely youthful. In my opinion this isn't suitable for anyone above the age of 22. Overall rating: 4/10. Sweet, syrupy and a little powdery. This is just way too sweet and way too youthful for my almost 30 year old self. Very much baby’s first perfume type of scent, a great option for a young teenager. I think if I smelled this on anyone above 25 it'd make me do a double take, in a bad way. While there's nothing wrong with this fragrance - it smells nice, it's approachable and sweet - it is just way too childish in nature for me to truly appreciate it. Safe to say, I am not the intended audience, and that's okay. Not every fragrance is going to cater to me. I also think the longevity is seriously poor which also contributes to my lower overall rating. Who would wear it?: Bubbles in Powerpuff Girls.

Way too creamy and vanillic for me. Why is vanilla not in the notes, pray? You have to love creamy and vanillic fragrances to appreciate this. Pass!

Safe scent for daily wear, not loud, but pleasant. It's leaning towards the sweet side, however it also has a prominent orris root note. L.12.12 Natural opens with vanilla like coconut, some pineapple and florals balancing between fresh and sweet. Most of the time this is rich, almost creamy floral executed in a light way with some freshness. It must be jasmine with that citrus nuance and enriched with amber, but not overly strong. I do not get amber on the skin though, but it is very present in sillage (so is the rose and some more coconut); also in whiffs of the scent I get almost no orris root, which is present on and close to the skin. I like this earthy, slightly sharp orris with sweet and soft coconut rose with barely there pineapple juiciness. However, this is all in the safe zone. Moderate sillage for up to five hours and closer to skin I can feel it even after ten. If you don't mind fruity florals and particularly fancy some pineapple, coconut or orris root in the mix, this one may be for you.

The softness is part of its appeal. It smells "pastel", but not powdery like the Jil Sander Style Pastels. More of a water crisp version. Perfect for a slightly breezy, super sunny day in a little sundress. Feeling feminine and flirty. And I actually like the new bottle design. Its like a more slender version of the mens's L12.12 collection. And this particular color is so cute and unique sitting next to other typical bottles.

I like it a lot, but honestly, with the name and the notes, I thought it'd be more... natural? More green. It is a kind of powdery green if such thing exist. The dry down is sharper than expected, on my skin anyway. It is a fragrance that is full of nuances, meaning it doesn't smell the same at all when you spray it, after 10 minutes and after one hour. I like it, but I definitely prefere the Sparkling one.

Afterwards, it becomes powdery soft as the rose and raspberry open up. This fragrance has an element of softness to it which is probably created by coconut water. However, I am not able to detect it.

This whole tennis collection smells v cheap and underwhelming. This is the only one of the 3 I could bare, but its not anything special at all. Very aquatic and dry green and savory to me. I couldn't detect any of the notes listed above.

From the notes I thought this would be right up my street. It was nice-ish but I didn't get any pineapple and then it just evaporated. Absolutely not worth your time or more than a couple of quid.

More fresh than sweet on me, which is good. Nice one
