Eau de Lacoste L.12.12 Pour Lui French Panache

this fragrance is awesome.very familiar dna but very nice and easy to love/wear.imagine lacoste yellow mixed with lacoste L'homme....and tad bit mont blanc legend night.,...with notes like lavender, apples and kind of like rhubarb that was used in L'homme.great frag to wear with t shirt and khakis.longevity is 7/10, projection for 1st one hour is fantastic,nice bottle 8/10 smell is 8/10, compliments 10/10 and the opening is gorgeous.perfect summer and spring casual scent....teenagers will love this. 8/10 overall

When I first started collecting fragrances, I got almost addicted to vetiver-based scents. But as time passed it turned almost 180 degrees finding the scent almost nauseous. Pretty strange, but maybe my brain/nose got a bit overdosed on it...?? Now it's all about oud and not least the beautiful patchouli, which this scent surprised me in having featured pretty dominantly. I get nice whiffs from mid to base, after a not so exciting opening. So give this a try and wait for the magic to happen.

Update 2023. Im still enjoying this. Longevity is above average. That dark blueberry like accord (could it be mix of apple and lavender not sure) is very nice and unique to my nose, citrus background also lasts quite a bit. Its a darker freshie for the summer, I dont have or encounter too many of them. Its a distant cousin of Lacoste L'homme intense, similar vibes but different profiles.

Darker blue, not as fresh and not as bright as your typical blue, it has some dirt, murkiness and ink vibes, still comes through as warm weather cologne but with some heavy shade. Its nice for what it is. Update: after several wears it finally hit me - this is giving me dark ripe blueberries, its a very nice accord, the more I wear it the more Im into it.

It's a really good perfume for hot weather In the opening you will smell a lot of ( citrusy and spicy notes ) Then after you wait for the scent to dry you will gonna smell the ( lavender with green apple ) and these notes you will still smell it until mixed with some woods ( In short it smells like a barber shop )

I don't understand why this fragrance is so underrated, in my opinion this is one of my favourite scents. It may be because of all the good memories I've had with it. It's a really solid fragrance. I don't know if this is discontinued or not but if it isn't I'd go for it!

I don't get the hate on this frag. People seem to forget what fragrances of this genre are supposed to be and instead of reviewing based on that notion, they decide to judge the same way they would judge a TF Private Collection or a Amouage fragrance. This is supposed to be mass-appealing and, by that very notion, be pleasing/easy/simple to the vast majority of people possible. Based on that, this one is a safe reach for the spot of "spring/summer dumb pick" for everyday use. The scent itself is pretty good, the apple fruityness stands out and gives a body to the fresh profile it has. Yes, it falls into the "modern blue" category but it does have a personality to merit being its own thing if you like this category of scents. It's a cheapie, so longevity and sillage you shouldn't expect nothing more than average, but the aroma is very pleasing and easy to pull off on casual summer night-outs and daytime.

I own this one back then a few month back but I decided to return as the bottle is not in good condition. I found this later on sales, new seal at USD 20 for 50 ml., So I rebuy. If you are familiar with PDM Sedley, Hugo Boss Infinite This smell almost exactly the same. It is Apple-Lavender shower gel vibe, a bit more musky dry down. It's blend the way you cannot distinguish the note. Nothing to write much but you can choose worse. Performance wise, this is barely last 4-5 hours (It's Lacoste after all). It starts with moderate-strong projection but it steps in very fast. It is great for on the go because the bottle is very study. Score 7/10 Projection : Moderate-strong for 30-45 mins before steps in significantly fast. Longevity : 5 hours Classification : Masculine (Homme 85% / Femme 15%)

I Blind bought this just for the Price Bargain I was getting ...... It was in Clearence in a local Walgreens (Everybody knows Walgreens is the worst place to buy frags) But this was priced at $18.99 from an original Retail Price of $85 ! I dont trust in Walgreens Retails but a Lacoste normally would be at $45 to $60 .... so still $18.99 was a win! Anyways ... I was really surprised that it actually smells good for me. The Apple note is very prominent along with the Lavender. Is a very clean crisp scent for Everyday use all year around. Im wearing it right now and its still projecting moderate after 4 hours of applying it and being an EDT. This was a win for me again! Loved it P.S. it DOES smells like Hugo Boss Infinite but IT ALSO reminded me of Alfred Dunhill's DRIVEN

Got it as a gym lotion, although I admit there are better options out there for that sole purpose (something stronger with a citrus orientation). Lacoste French Panache is basically a nice, clean and soothing lavender-intensive formula from beginning to end, with a little wood whiff after an hour or so and the permanent yet understated spicy cardamom in the background. Zero overpowering and decent but subdued projection (which is why I use it for exercising and gives me the confidence that I'm wearing something relatively balanced). You'll smell pleasantly for about three hours applying around four sprays. Definitely avoid in very cold weather. I'm satisfied with this juice. It's Ok.

Strange that sniffing the sprayer of this I was instantly reminded of the fantastic (and ONLY good Lacoste fragrance) Eau de Lacoste Blanc which I thought this was merely a repackaged version of...but it isn't. This is generic and boring, lacklustre and all the mediocre, mundane labels you could slap on it. For all that I think it's okay, at best it's a slightly less inventive version of Davidoff Horizon or something? Has this ginger twang to the citrus which works very well over a plethora of dry modern woody amber. It's meh, but not unpleasant meh.

This is a Nice Scent, Fresh, Clean, Green and Spicy. Easy to wear and suitable for Spring and Summer. It was on my radar about Two years and I found it at store with reasonable price. I love Original White lacoste and French Panache is good too. It opens up with fresh spicy, Zesty and green and spices notes in the background then dry down is green and woody. I'm so happy that I have it in my collection and I really enjoy it when the weather is warm. Longevity is good. Highly Recommended. Thumbs Up. Rating : 8 / 10

I was gifted a bottle of this and it ended up as my work/gym fragrance that I kept in my backpack. It was perfect for that. Smells fresh and clean with a touch of French class. Mostly lavender freshness with a bit of fruity sweetness, touch of cardamom spice and a creamy sandalwood base. Nothing super mesmerizing, but I did get a compliment from a female while wearing it once. I switched to Mont Blanc Legend Spirit after I ran out, which gets more compliments but sometimes I miss this one.

I think the opening is really nice for this fragrance. It’s a simple fresh and pungent smell. However, it dries down quickly and becomes a very faint woody scent that doesn’t project well (on my skin, others may project it better). I still consider Lacoste White to be the best of the Lacoste’s and I would put this new Panache second.

Fresh and clean. Plenty of citrus and fruit on top of lavender and creamy sandalwood. Average projection and longevity. For me, this is just as good as the more popular L.12.12 White. A sunny fragrance that will work year-round in most occassions but is best suited for spring and summer.

I found this fragrance at the end of a cupboard today. Nice combination of lavender and apple. I think I will use this fragrance in the morning after shaving as it is not very intense.

Great dumb reach for the summer months, lasts longer clothes than skin though. Nice scent, pleasant and inoffensive.

First Pass - Sweet. Fruity. Earthy. I'm having a hard time picking out individual notes. Maybe the tiniest hint of patchouli? 1 Hour Later - It's like standing under a plum tree laden with drupes. I smell the ripe stone fruit and the warmth of the bark This is an absolute home run for me. Fruity, woody, sweet. It's everything I like in one bottle I never thought Ralph Lauren Romance would be dethroned in my book, but this might have done it While this is not meant as a critique, as someone with an acute sense of smell I will say the longevity of this is weaker than average For example, I never wear more than one spritz of any cologne. I smell it all day, and I will continue to smell it the following day until I shower (and sometimes even then, depending on the cologne) For French Panache, I applied in the morning as usual but noticed the sillage faltering by lunch. In the evening I had to put my nose under my shirt to smell anything at all I suspect that means most people will find this scent to be pretty weak for their tastes. That's not at all a deal breaker for me because I'm not trying to fill a room ***Scents, like tastes, are subjective. Wear what you like***

Here it is! Lovely summery scent cute coloured bottle (symbolising the French flag) and not bad price however it falls in the "I have smelt it all before" category Coach by coach 2017 is the closest similar scent to it in my collection hence this bottle is redundant. Longevity and sillage is quite poor to be fair. I will give it away as a present or something.

At this price point, there are better options—scents with more personality and presence. This one's not offensive, but it also won’t be the one you reach for when you want to stand out. It’s safe to the point of forgettable. A harsh opening and a pretty synthetic lavender. Had high hopes but didn’t like this at all. Very different to the lavender in Caron pour in homme or atkinsons which is much softer and rounder edged.

Nothing to sniff here. Lacking originality, although it's nice for what it is.

It’s a great fragrance for spring/summer. Teens would love it. It’s refreshing, smells very nice. Lasts about 4 1/2 hours I’d say with 1-2 sprays. Sillage is... fine. People will be able to smell it from 3-4 feet away. Safe blind buy.
