Land

Lacoste Land is so under the radar, but I selfishly want it to remain that way (should I even write a review?). This one hits the olfactory receptors in such away that I reminded of a time and a place that is just out of reach (don't you love when that happens?), a sense of yearning and comfort, but a tinge of melancholy as well—I like to wear this on rainy days. I discern quality materials in this, and the composition itself is so sublime. It is such 'whole is greater than the sum of its parts' masterpiece, where not one note demands the most attention. Right up there with Serge Lutens and Frederic Malle, and we are talking about a Lacoste release from nearly thirty years ago. 10/10. Accompanying Soundtrack: Rafael Anton Irisarri, 'Empire Systems.'

So happy to come across this hidden gem. From prior experience with Booster from Lacoste, Land is probably best described as the edp version of Booster. Noble, strong, confident in life, classy with warm charisma all sum up Lacoste Land. I forever think of a tastefully stylish French "county" type of individual driving his Citreon from the city to the rural roads of France all while wearing Lacoste Land. A throwback to the late 70's and early 80's with a well heeled bohemian vibe to this very underrated scent designed by none other than the house of Jean Patou. Lacoste Land has Instantly became one of my all time favorite colognes. 9/10

Lacoste Land heralds to a time when Men's fragrances were bold, strong and distinctively masculine. Similar to releases during the 70s, 80s and up to mid 90's, Land is a noteworthy and nostalgic reminder of a sadly bygone era of innovation in perfumery. A time when even sports apparel companies released perfumes that were 10+ times better in terms of uniqueness, quality and performance than the majority of scents released by established designers of today. Lacoste Land is a warm and aromatic elixir with depth and complexity that will intrigue you and those who smell it on you.

I never trust Fragrantica when put this generical notes by chance without cure or interest in discovery. In fact: TOP: juniper, lavender, bergamot, coriander, mace, pepper, cyclamen. HEART: lily of the valley, geranium and carnation. BASE: cedar, vetiver, musk, amber and oak moss. Description below, it was made without the real notes. Not so oriental. Fresh citrus warm woody I'll say. Beguin like a traditional office scent almost cold, after one hour is a warm delicious gourmand fragrance with sweet caramel notes. Incredible.

This frag is pure class .. under the radar over at BN for the decade that i have been involved .. iF the 5 or 6 top reviewers get to smell this & understand its beauty , describe it eloquently >>Prices will skyrocket !!! ... My tip grab some whilst it is still affordable or it will go the way of M7 & Gucci Ph & many others .. Cheers

Citrus mix that fades in a warm and woody/cedar/tonka fragrance. Very reassuring gentleman cologne. The smell you want to sense on a man when you hold him, while he is driving a cabriolet or reading a book on a sofa in springtime. A no time no dated scent. Simple classic class.

Lacoste must not have produced anything better than this. smells great. We are in October of 2022. I bought 3 bottles of 100ml, 2 bottles of 50ml, 15 bottles of 8ml from a collector. I paid a crazy price. There is no one in Turkey who owns this perfume more than me.

i smell crushed cloves and black pepper in green lemon juice and what a tasty fresh juice

It's got that mossy sorta scent of the 80's, and if you like that, you'll like Land. I just have others already that I believe do it better. I'm surprised by its high rating here (4.31 at this time). Land is on the overpriced side, IMO, so I recommend sampling before buying.

This is TERRIBLE!!! This smells like something the crocodile hunter would wear while out in nature. Its so musk & dirty... It really smells like alligator exhibit 😮💨🥴🤣 They bottled up the water he lives in-

I really like the funky smell and the not so in your face early 90's powerhouse aspect of Lacoste Land. It is different from all the powerhouses fragrances from bygone era, but It still transpires that mossy, aromatic and spicy men's fragrance. It is kept on the down low, not a screamer. The wonderful animalic undertone is very similar to TF London, and that's what made me interested. Unfortunately it's been long discontinued and for that matter, no longer cheap, or I would buy 3-4 bottles of this gem.

This was the first lovely fragrance that I smell at a mall after reading in a newspaper when I was a highschool student. Unfortunately, I couldn't buy it that day because I really didn't have money for it. I just smell the sample gave to me by the salesgirl. So a long time that the smell still remained on my brain. I'm looking for this fragrance right now...It could be the hidden treasure of fragrance. Perhaps someone here tells me the clone of this fragrance in the 20th century.

super confusing fragrance honestly, it smells quiet herbal and green, yet it is quiet unique, I must admit.

Used to own this. Warm, citrus and gorgeous. Wish I could get hold of some more.
