Russian Fairytale Русская Сказка

Well-well. Anyone here thinking Tuscan leather is good but somewhat a boredom? Welcome to the club of those, who think leathers should tell a story, rather than to accompany bikers' chores. This one requires to wear it for a while to reach for the most interesting part. The first feeling is the overwhelming raspberry and cranberry altogther with the freshly tamed leather and moss (IBH?). Then, you somehow recognize pine needles, including both Northern and Southern evergreens (faraway kingdoms of a sort:). The longer the perfume gets warmed by the skin, the more juniper and cypress prevail. And now - there it is, poured white honey, powdery flowers.... Linden, mostly, which is wonderful absolutely. In a couple of hours the scent opens up a charming base of a la Kouros, Tenere, Y femme YSL. Patchouli (the slightest)-honey-castoreum-farnesol-vanilla. The most pleasant combination, a tad dark one, but very very appeasing. I wish I had a chance to try this in a spray (the bottle is a non-spray one), but I am afraid this will evoke a whole chiming of the perfume, so complex it is. It may happen that a prince will turn baсk into a beast with such a potion.:) Although, almost convinced he won't lose his charms. Well, the fairytale is a colorful one. I wouldn't say it misses it's haunting element, for sure there is some. And, yes, there is a place in this fairytale to magical ingressions from beasty to human and back... A very handsome perfume. Of course it is mainly a male one, but wildly a gourmand perf, with hints of leather and tar. To me, in real life it may resemble a dude who overcame himself to reach the peak of the Teide volcano on a bicycle alone, and then, back in Russia, invited his friends to a sauna (a male friendship tradition of sorts in Russia) to emotionally and colourfully tell of his heroic achievement to the friendly audience at a cup of hot tea with honey, raspberry and linden (or with something harder)... The scent is by all means rich in it's palette and it is in no way a boring one. It might not produce a great sillage, I suppose. It will never be a nuissance to anybody (if applied lightly with fingers). But! Just get closer to this wonder man - and you will certainly get lost in the wilds of this incredible aura, as we always get lost in the depths of a storyteller's imagination...

Raspberry honey powder.. This is A Russian fairy tale indeed. I do sense some leather and some castoreum but that's a bit later and so is linden, amber, musk, & honeysuckle. It's a cute sweet fragrance. Powdery and sweet.
