222 Cosmic Coco + Musk

I got 222 as a free gift with purchase. When I tried it for the first time.. I did not like it. I thought it was very strong and maybe too sweet? But I gave it a second shot. And I’m so glad I did. It’s musky in a salty sweet skin kind of way. It’s like my skin but better/sexier while remaining relaxed and fresh. I’m shocked at how much this has become one of my obsessions this winter. I love to spray this on before I go to sleep. It’s so cozy and nice. I love spraying it on my hoodies or sleep shirts so I can get a whiff when it’s worn off my skin. As far as scent profile, on my skin, I don’t get a lot of coconut at all. I get a vanilla salty skin vibe with creamy musk notes and maybe a subtle aquatic undertone? It definitely has a creamy woodsy layer at the base that’s cozy and slightly peppery. For me, this is a well balanced easy to wear daily staple. It layers really nicely with 11 11 vanilla and other vanilla fragrances. It doesn’t have the best longevity but I expect that from most body sprays. It does wear closer to the skin so it makes for a nice workplace scent without being too bland. I can see this being appropriate for daily wear during all seasons depending on your scent preferences.

But 222 Cosmic Coco + Musk by Lake & Skye completely surprised me. This opens warm and cozy rather than beachy — the coconut is soft, creamy, and blended, not sharp or synthetic. The cinnamon and sugar wrap around it beautifully, giving this a comforting, almost dessert-adjacent warmth without tipping into edible territory. It feels plush and inviting, like a cozy sweater rather than a summer vacation. What really seals the deal for me is what isn’t here: patchouli. On my skin, it’s essentially non-existent — no earthiness, no heaviness, no distraction. Instead, the musk smooths everything out and keeps the fragrance feeling clean, wearable, and quietly addictive. The overall effect is warm, softly sweet, and comforting, with enough balance to make it easy to wear day or night. It’s the kind of scent that feels reassuring — familiar but still interesting — and I kept catching little cozy wafts of it throughout the day. This one caught me off guard in the best way.
