Midnight 07

I received this in a sample bag and wasn't really drawn to it because the company was unfamiliar to me. Decided to give it try and as soon as I sprayed it I said, "OMG this smells so good!" Straight out of the bottle it was a hit. It's interesting because the scent itself is so calm and gentle but not weak in the least bit. You're going to smell this. Every time I waved or reached for something there she was. The name Midnight fits so well because it smells like walking the beach, under the moonlight, either hand in hand with someone or just to clear your mind. Very calming and a bit mysterious. It opens with fig that has a creaminess to it. The yuzu is there but ever so carefully laying in the undercurrent. It provides a cleanness that pairs well with the soft sweetness of the fig. This does come across powdery which further adds to that clean, fresh feeling. My nose isn't picking up any patchouli type notes. The rose is so well balanced here. Very gentle and not in your face which can many times overpower everything else and just go straight floral. Not here. It's there though. Depending on your preference for rose i'd imagine it would trigger more pronounced to your senses. The vanilla isn't overly done and settles in with the rest of the notes. As time goes on the vetiver makes its presence known but seems to just replace the yuzu from the opening. All in all, this is a beautiful scent. So much so that I almost went and purchased a full bottle as soon as I sprayed it lol. But my sample is actually a travel size so I figure i'll use that up but I definitely plan on purchasing a full when the time comes. This pulls more feminine on my skin in the opening but the dry down seems more unisex. Projection and Longevity on my skin was insane. I wasn't expecting that honestly. Thought it would perform like a BBW mist, so pleasantly surprised there. If you have the chance give this one a try.

Oh Lord this is like catnip to me. I’m having a pretty intense love affair with fig notes lately, and so I decided to blind buy this. I recently starting watching fragrance TikTok’s and you really can’t escape this brand on there. The golden child of the line is 11 11 but this is the one that caught my attention when I saw the notes list. I figured if I loved this one I could probably justify a blind buy of that one, but what I didn’t anticipate was falling in love with this one so fast that I’m instead planning to purchase a back up bottle. When I have over 100 fragrances on the wish list. When I have a few favorites that are already half way empty. I just panic when I think about how beautiful this scent is and not having enough of it. Here is what I smell: The same creamy vanilla smell that is in Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black, but take out the violet and add fig. You’ve got a lactonic silkiness and the sweetness that’s not too much and doesn’t cross the line into gourmand territory. I love it dearly, I can justify owning both and if Nirvana Black is really discontinued like they say it is I feel like this is a good one to check out and see if it fills that void for you (and if you like strong fig notes) Performance is also way better than I thought it might be. I got about two messy sprays on my hands (I got too eager bringing in the package from the hot sun and it sort of just dribbled out at first but the bottle seems to be in good order and not leaking) and it’s lasted about 4 hours and still going strong, I count that as sufficient in my collection. Blind buy success and surprisingly worth the hype.

This is an absolute dream. Warm, sparkly, tangy, snappy sweet, cozy almost mystical smelling. Like freshly turned forest earth that grows vanilla tea and sweet roses. It's absolutely bewitching I can't shut up about it - I can't stop thinking about it. It's that perfect. I want to say it smells like October but don't feel at all like i couldn't (or wouldn't) wear it any other time of the year. I am plowing through this bottle. Yeah, be freaking witched.

Absolutely gorgeous! Somewhat reminiscent of TF Black Orchid. Warm, sweet, complex. Lasts several hours, moderate sillage. As a perfume junkie, I’ve been trying to find more clean options of late, and I’m very pleased with several perfumes in this line. I will def be purchasing a FB of this! Edit: I have this, as well as Henry Rose Dark As Night. They are indistinguishable, exact copies. Love them both!

I am picky when it comes to unisex fragrances, but this is stunning. Love at 1st sniff.. Opens with a beautiful burst of fig. The mossy, almost smoky vetiver is flawlessly blended in. It doesn't lean male or female to me. The name & the bottle match the scent if that makes sense. Absolutely alluring.

I'm blown away that this isn't more popular. I think it's so well blended. I don't generally like rose or pachouli frags but this one is so gorgeous, warm, grown up, cozy, dark - date night scent for sure. Easily my favourite Lake & Skye frag and has great longevity

Got hit with a huge burst of yuzu along w the patchouli . Patchouli seems to be the main star on my skin but it’s a soft spicy type of patchouli with a light vetiver and sweetened up with a creamy vanilla . It’s really nice

I love this. It’s a creamy, woody dream with a hint of spice to it. I love the fig in this as well. It will definitely be one of my go-to’s for winter months.

I really like this despite it having vetiver. Felt the need to lead with that because if anyone else is like me and avoids vetiver like the plague... maybe you like this. The best way to describe this is a super chilled out, feminine Kilian Black Phantom. There isn't a ton of overlap in the notes, and these are NOT twins... But they're like half siblings. I suspect it's the fig, patchouli, vanilla combo that's giving that deep, sultry, almost boozy vibe in Black Phantom, but who knows. I've been wearing Black Phantom since right after it launched, and when I discovered this scent was impressed at how it was both quite similar to BP, but also very much filled a different spot in my collection. I don't wear BP out in public. It's too much and I'm quite considerate/don't want to set off any migraines. This is chill enough and doesn't quite project as much that it's appropriate on a date night for sure. And if you have no idea what BP smells like... this is a totally lady-like almost boozy perfume. Lasts 6-8 hours easy. Projects about arm's length. Probably is NOT a safe blind buy.

I've been looking for a fig fragrance and completely forgot that it was a note in Midnight 07, and that I had a sample size from an old Lake & Skye discovery kit! I really like the warm fig/patchouli combo, and the vanilla brings in some sweetness without being too dominant or cloying. Felt almost like a muskier, more grown-up version of the Bath & Body Works Brown Sugar & Fig lotion I loved when I was little. I'm not getting any of the rose or yuzu––the thickness and earthiness of Midnight 07 stand out to me much more than anything floral or citrus, and I think if there were even a few minutes of an interesting sharp, spicy, or otherwise fresh note to cut through the warmth and roundness, this could be a contender for a full-size bottle **my roommate said this smelled like bananas, which was unexpected but now I'm starting to pick it up!

Vanilla and fig are really in the forefront of this. It's a sweet, juicy, sticky fruitiness that's a bit too syrupy for my taste. However as a whole, the fragrance isn't bad. If you are looking for an evening fragrance that is sweet and easy to wear, but is a little bolder than what you would wear in an office setting, this is a good pick. Longevity and sillage are moderate.

Warm, musky, floral-y well-blended, cozy, comfy, figgy patchouli loveliness. Evolution becomes more & more lovely. An elevated, easy everyday pleasure.

Really surprised by the dark and sexy comments on this one. The yuzu is the most prominent top note to me, but it dissipates quite quickly - even for a top note. The rose comes through and then eventually gives way to the vanilla. It's a nice scent with a pleasant dry down, but the name had me expecting something a little bit different. It takes a little while for the patchouli to poke through, but when it does it's certainly noticeable. The scent is versatile - it makes sense in any season, at any time of day, and in any setting. It smells like a pretty basic scent to me and certainly isn't giving what the name evokes. It makes me think of a woman in business attire browsing a large book store after work (not an independent book store - just a regular big-name Chapters or whatever).

It isn't that I dislike this fragrance. The patchouli is quite strong, although I am not completely anti-patchouli (I love it in Chanel Paris - Paris) but it is of such a nature in this you'd have to love it for this one. It is definitely a cold weather scent, and also not a daytime scent. The trouble is, it doesn't feel quite special enough for evenings (my going out fall/winter scent being Initio Psychedelic Love). Not a safe blind buy.

After sampling this for a few days, I finally discovered what this smells like to my nose: G&B Ingenious Ginger! Unfortunately, something about this fragrance is missing the mark and just falls flat. At least Ingenious Ginger has more of a bite up top that makes it unique, but this is only intriguing upon spraying and then dries down to a mildly sweet, woody vanilla. Maybe one day, I'll come back to it. It has potential.

This one is very deep and sultry! It's befitting of a mysterious woman who drinks her whisky neat at a speakeasy very few people know about. All the listed notes are detectable, but the patchouli is REALLY intense on me and smells dirty in a bad, headache-inducing way. Midnight 07 would be an easy date night reach if it wasn't for that.

So many notes I normally adore. But absolutely awful together. Smells like straight up carpet cleaner. Disgusting.

This is a dark, sexy fragrance for people who don't want to go too dark or sexy -- it's a family-friendly, PG-rated vamp. This may sound dismissive, but I can see how there's a place for something that has a softer, more wholesome approach to this scent family. Fig predominates with a spritz of citrus, followed by smooth vanilla. The rose and patchouli darken and toughen up the composition, but only just. The effect is delicate and youthful with the slightest nighttime edge. I agree with @Neckromancer that it has something in common with Nirvana Black, but this is a bit more feminine and less editorial to my nose. It's new to my collection, and I admit to being ever so slightly underwhelmed, but I can also anticipate occasions where my go-to dark woody-florals are too much, and this gentler boho iteration will fit the bill.

This is pretty good! A powerful sweetened patchouli with a hint of rose. (Can’t actually detect the yuzu but I think it’s what keeps the fragrance well rounded and a tiny bit bright) sometimes the vanilla in here is too dry (synthetic?) to my nose. Kinda like Guess Seductive Noir— like it’s missing depth. I think this would’ve been epic with oud or saffron to edge it up a smidge. I just want something MORE, but it is a nice easy reach scent for a patchouli. Smells nearly identical to Henry Rose Dark is Night at first but it does its own thing as it develops and ends up lighter and more fem leaning. Dark is night is deeper, sweeter, and earthier.

Bought in a 4pc discovery set at Value Village and, oh my... 🖤 It's no wonder I love it. It's a combination of many true loves in my current collection which are also named in the similarities above. I sense trails of each within the development. I agree, this reminds me of: Black Phantom, Modern Muse Nuit, Gucci Guilty Absolu, Vengeance Extreme, Black Orchid, Noir Extreme, Tobacco Vanille, L'Interdit Absolu EDP, Guess Seductive Noir... All of which are quite different from each other but, a functional blend of all can be imagined as Midnight 07. If you like most of those, you're likely to enjoy this.
