Amethyst Exquise

This one is more intricate than it seems at first. All in all, I would still define it as a clean scent, at it's core. But it is one of the most oriental and whimsical clean scents I can imagine. It is a clear and dark purple amethyst stone (much more like the actual dark gem than the original Amethyst scent is, I think). And to me, it smells like the stone is set in a piece of silver jewellery, in antique silver, not in gold. In the beginning, there is a lot of syrupy dark berry, but not sugary sweet kind. The berries aren't really decernible indiviually, the are just there in an intense, but still very loose and mysterious way. Like walking through a damp forest. You know there are berries in the undergrowth, a lot of them, but they are hiding their identity. Strangely, I smell a strong bitter almond or amaretto scent, too, in the first minute. There is a strong, dewy, dark floral scent from the start, too. Not like flowers in a well kept garden, it is all grown together here, flowers and thorny branches and hidden berries, on a moist and rich soil. The woody notes are very clean and have the synthetic Amethyst vibe to it, but not in the rubbery way the original can sometimes tend to be. There is luckily non of the generic and headache inducing, heavily sweet sandalwood, that seems to be omnipresent in perfume these days. The woody base here is what's keeping the whole thing clean (and dark silvery instead of golden) and cool-headed. The bitter almond / amaretto note from the start turns into something resinous and comforting. I also think there might be a little smokey incense in this with the woods. When it comes down to it, this perfume is very grounded and down to earth, nostalgic romantic, not head-in-the-clouds romantic. I like the picture of a long walk through a dark, rather cold and foggy autumn forest for this perfume a lot. It is a fairy tale in a bottle, but rather an original and sometimes harsh Grimm tale, not a Disney version. It has a grown up, silky and complex dry down. It's not a happy ever after thing. More like wandering for ever after, with happiness and loss and longing, all tied up together. I love it!

Well. This amethyst range continues to surprise me. Much as when I bought the first, this is different than what I anticipated. For the original, I wasn’t prepared for the herbal note- however it grew to be a favorite of mine. I just wished it lasted longer. Queue the Exquise. Boozy is the right word, as referenced many times below. Boozy berries. The base notes of the sandalwood, benzoin, vanilla, it’s giving me a cream note- that initially lead me to think there was coconut in here? Almost like the coconut I get in dolce and gabana the only one intense, but not as intense. Expensive farmers market Grape Jelly is another thought that crossed my mind when I first got my nose in the crook of my arm. Not the smuckers type, this jam has twine tied around the neck of the bottle in a bow. In a climatic turn...Carolina Herreras good girl, although this happens more on blotter paper than skin. They don’t smell the same but they could be distant relatives- both share a masculine edge. I know most who have reviewed say it’s a basic berry perfume, but I don’t have anything like this in my collection. This perfume is as thrifty as MacGyver hog tied in a tunnel. It surprised me, pleasantly. All season, day or night, moderate longevity. Love it!

Amethyst Exquise is such a great berries scent. It’s a complex and yet simple perfume. I love the berries in it but it has depth brought on by the woods, the florals, vanilla, heliotrope and the gardenia. It is my favorite out of the three Amethyst bottles. I used to have all three but only kept Exquise in the end because it has the most beautiful, complex, creamy and evocative scent. To my nose, it smells like dark and juicy berries that have been mixed with a bit of booze and topped with a dollop of sweet thick cream. Delightful! I love to layer it with Meliora by Parfums de Marly. It gives Meliora the depth and creaminess that she needs to shine. Call me sacrilege for doing it but they smell pretty darn amazing together! On its own, Amethyst Exquise has really good longevity, enormous sillage and projection and for a bottle of that price, I think you are getting a pretty good bang for your buck, personally. All in all, a great perfume to try out. It’s one of those Springtime ones that’s hard to refuse!

Lalique Amethyst Exquise EDP is the dark syrup of the bunch. This is the sweetest of the 3 Amethysts but this is not sweet in a juvenile way. LAE is exquisitely sweet, captivating, sexy and unique. There is still that recognizable Amethyst synthetic base which makes these perfumes feel more niche in nature. As dense and cozy as this perfume smells, it is surprisingly great in hot summer weather as well. There is no bothersome musk, no annoying amber, just clean, fresh, inviting sweetness. LAE is another in the line of Amethyst which is a must have for me. It is a great signature perfume that I can wear all year long. This is the most generally palatable of the 3 but remains unique enough to be appreciated by those who seek to smell "different." Recently discovered that this is very similar to Gucci Guilty Absolute Pour Femme. You don't need both but there is a smokey oud touch that comes out in LAE during the winter.

A successful blind buy. Based on the reviews, I expected something else, maybe something a bit more fresh fruity but nevertheless I'm very happy with what I got. It is fruity and sweet, yes, but more of a ripe, syrup-y sweet fruity, which is beautifully balanced with the woody base notes. A bit of a dark and mysterious scent, but this darkness is not a sharp, strong, black darkness that some smoky kind of fragrance like for example a TF Black Orchid have, but definitely a dark purple of the berries. A sweet and inviting darkness. I managed to get a 100 ml bottle of this for about $20, and for that price it is a steal. I find that after a couple hours it starts to become more of a skin scent, and I think the sillage is not so strong in the first few hours either. Overall, a very beautiful scent in my opinion.

Gorgeous perfume. This is Amethyst's sexy sister, sipping berry daiquiries on a night out. If it's been discontinued, as I keep seeing, that's a terrible shame. It's unique. It has a jammy sweetness with a very sophisticated, seductive wood note, and they go together perfectly, delicious. It's so rare to find a perfume this beautiful and classy that that smells very natural. There's not a single jarring note. It is unfortunately not very long-lasting, and for me it's an intimate perfume. If it had a more projection and longevity, this would be my go-to evening scent. The bottle is of course beautiful, and this is Lalique, so they know about those things.

Ha! Surprisingly, today for a first time I've notice how much the first sniff remind me on opening of the original version Lalique de Lalique. And after hour or two came nice vanilla + sandalwood soft sweetness like in the L.Le perfume. Is that what they call same DNA? Adore this unique opaque fruttines. I am not fan of very sweet perfumes, but this one is border one - stil on my side. Nice. Happy to have all of the Amethist flankers. Edit: I dare to use it in the hot summer evening and find nice creamines. Surprising (nice one).

I finally own this gem! Bottle itself is a masterpiece!..you don't find nowadays often that beautiful bottles. Fragrance is beautiful too. Most of all I feel here dark berries, some flowers and sandal. Sandal soothes all the notes down, makes them soft and cozy. This flanker is not as fresh berry juice like original scent, but this one is more sweet and tart. There is some noticeble plastic note like of an old doll from your childhood..it is nice..isn't it? Longevity could be just a bit better that is why I put here 9/10.

Of the three Amethyst versions that I have (Original, Eclat and Exquise), I like this one the best. I think it's a bit more preferable in cooler weather. On a cool evening, it was good - not too sweet, not overpoweringly fruity. I wore it on a hot day and the scent wasn't the same. It could easily be an fall, office wear scent for me. The "next day fragrance" on my clothing is better than the fragrance on my skin.

Doesn't last the longest & not the best fruity rose or the most complex perfume but something keeps drawing me back to this one and I don't know why..(is it the rose and blackberry combo?)...but Oh how I love the intrigue... so Amethyst Exquise has earned my love and respect..like a red headed stepchild - no offense to the many red headed stepchildren of which I am one:) Lalique..we'll meet again;)

Amethyst Exquise has lots of berries, but isn't sweet. I barely smell any vanilla. The florals are in the background supporting the fruity juicy berries. And the heliotrope makes this one magical! I just love it! Gorgeous bottle and amazing price. This is a blind buy standout for me.

A creamy, jam-like, sexy, seductively playful evening fragrance for adult tastes as well. In fact, a completely different style than her day-wear green tart sister, Amethyst. This is also my favorite from the line. Definitely worth a try.

The more I wear this the more interesting it is as time goes on, more rounded and berrylicious. It is without much of the green brambles of the original. It still has some in the background.

Juicy berries with light syrupy sweetness welcome one into the garden. Blackberry being the dominant one, with added sugar from the raspberry. Black currant's tartness lingers in the background with heliotrope soft powdery note. The smoothness of the scent is exquisite and luscious berries accord envelops and seduces one's senses. Mind it, - it is neither candy-like or saccharine-based, it is as close to the real fruits crushed together, with juices mixing and trickling down one's skin. Orchid is very well projected (even though in numerous other compositions it tends to be on a shy side), but here, the flower is very well done and comes out just before the sugar-petalled rose comes close on its heels. Bulgarian rose is all it is expected to be, minus the overbearing and cloying facets. Blended with the orchid it gives the heart of opulence and oriental allure, reminiscent of the magenta-pink tones of a fine Brazilian amethyst. Unlike the original fragrance, Amethyst Exquise is of a lighter colour with mauve-rose hues being the prevalent one. It is still purple in its core, but it draws you inside slowly to glimpse the abyss of the imperial colour of the old. The base is silky smooth through gardenia and vanilla, with sandalwood adding lightning-like streaks of antique-gold, balancing out the composition and maintaining the impression of walking through the bushes with ripe berries under the July sunshine. It also keeps the fragrance from becoming a "full on" gourmand, instead maintaining a "fruity-floral" signature with impeccable quality and class. "Amethyst Exquise" is a much more feminine and youthful concoction, compared to the first fragrance, and yet, it is most versatile and not age-restricted. It is all about mood, impressions and projection of one's self, than anything else. In spite of its depth and richness of flavours and colours, it is not overpowering or exceedingly insistent on being noticed. It can be worn throughout the day and any time of the year, the only BUT, is that one would have to be careful about having a meal out, as it would not go well with a Japanese or any other "clean tasting" cuisine. Other than that it is supremely versatile and delightful scent, certain to be noticed and complemented, as well as leave a lasting memories on those close to you. And one last note - the bottle is a work of art, in the best traditions of Lalique and Art Nouveau, reminiscent of Alphonse Mucha and Rene Lalique's creations like no other.

This is a beautiful perfume that I actually bought full price at Nordstrom, long before I knew about discount fragrance websites. I bought less expensive backup bottles just in case, but honestly it's taking me forever to go through my first bottle. It's a high quality fragrance like all of the Lalique perfumes I have tried. Amethyst Exquise is a potent berry centric fragrance. Black currant and blackberry definitely dominate over raspberry. If you want a fragrance that lasts all day, this is it, and the sillage cloud projects very far. Pretty much Alien level strong, and people will associate this fragrance with you. If you overspray, it will enter the room before you do. I prefer this version over the original Amethyst, but it seems very similar to the other Amethyst flanker. Though the fragrance doesn't seem to develop much, the berry bouquet smells romantic and powerful, like a woman who knows what she wants and isn't afraid to get it. It's not the type of berry you would smell in a girly body spray, and it's not for the meek. I wore it all year round when I first got it, but I recommend wearing in Winter or Autumn because it's so strong. Even when it's overwhelming on myself, I find it very pleasant to smell on someone else. If heavy fragrances are too much for you, you might want to spray some on your clothes at the start of your day rather than spraying it directly on your skin. It is strong enough to cover up wet odors in leather bags as well, and months later my bag has a pleasant tinge of berry perfume to it.

Ok, so I'm disappointed! :( I had bigger expectations from this one. Maybe because it was hard to get,a bit pricey for it's line.. or other reasons.. but I just hoped to get something more exciting! This frag is not dark as the bottle might suggest, it's not that unique as it's brilliant design projects, and it's also pretty plain Jain and not the mysterious juice I was expecting to sniff. It's very syrupy sweet, as other designer frags out there, and if I knew that this is how it's going to smell, I would never buy it for the 70$ I've paid. It's just too much like so many others out there.. not worth the high price. It is juicy, it is delicious and quit nice, really... just not the dark mystery I was expecting to get.. AND NO- It's NOTHING like the AMETHYST to my nose. ABSOLUTELY nothing! the only thing that is rather similar is that they both share these fruity notes, but that's it.

I like Amethyst Exquise better than the original Amethyst. It's warmer, sweeter and has more depth. Like a night version should. It's a very sweet scent of dark forest berries mixed with raspberries on a woody vanilla base. Even though there is only some mysterious orchid note listed, it definitely has a light, powdery vanilla scent. Combined with the berries it reminds me a little of scented erasers, but the woody notes keep it from fully going there. They're almost a little smokey, especially in the drydown, which I enjoy. The whole scent has a warm and clean feel. This is neither a very complex blend, nor a mysterious dark elixir. But it's a really good option if you're looking for a simple, sweet mixed berry scent that's also refined and balanced and doesn't smell like some drugstore product. Or, of course, if you just want a more substantial version of Amethyst.

Dark forest berries is exactly the right way to describe this delicious perfume. Sweet with just the right amount of tartness, juicy, slightly syrupy and a pinch powdery from the heliotrope. On my skin the blackberry is the strongest. The luscious berries are present throughout the perfume lifecycle, and it gets creamier on my skin as the base notes develop into a balsamic, woody vanilla. Smells far more expensive than it is and performance is impressive. 'Amethyst Exquise' is mature, seductive (has a bit of that CH Good Girl DNA), undeniably feminine. A more deeper, richer version of the original Amethyst. I must be honest... I prefer 'Amethyst Exquise' over the original. A lovely find and easy blind buy Edit: warning, this is a very VERY mature perfume. I only recommend it for ''old souls''.

The first hour of this is just amazing and quite addictive, I couldn't stop smelling it. I don't like overly sweet floral fragrances and this one has many well-blended facets. Unfortunately, after the first hour it loses some of the complexity (and density), the floral notes become more prominent, and it becomes a sweeter scent - not heavy-sweet, but actually quite airy sweet, almost girly. I wish it had more depth, was a bit more grounded. That's why my favorite application of this fragrance is together with Perles de Lalique, because they complement each other wonderfully, each giving to the other the "missing piece". AE, with its freshness and sweetness, counterbalances the medicinal sharpness of the (patchouli in) PdL and the latter adds complexity in the drydown.

At first spray this always smells like ice or very cold water. There are notes of lilac or maybe orchid and blackberry there too, but it's as if they're frozen. On my skin it does settle into something more attractive, sensual even- but that cold note is still present. It's almost a little halloweenish. I will try wearing this more when we get some sub zero weather, I imagine it will really shine then. I like it, but I like it even more layered and complimented with a warm gormand lotion or mist. Edit: On my boyfriend this smells way warmer and softer, I even get hints of those rounded base notes. Seems like this is a scent that plays favourites...

This is a very sugary syrup of dark berries with heaps of vanilla. It also smells a bit like berry gummy bears. I occasionally smell the orchid note. It cuts in as a musky floral with a fresh laundry edge. It’s an odd combination. I definitely don’t hate this fragrance, but it isn’t exactly my kind of profile. I picture someone on a dating reality show wearing this scent. Overdressed for a date with someone she doesn’t even like. I was going to say that this might grow on me, but I’m less sure now that I’ve made that association.

First, the bottle is beautiful, a deep purple with some berries on the vine illustration. The scent itself is fine - though, as others have reviewed, it is not a dark or mysterious juice inside which I was hoping for. I can smell the berries and sandalwood, a little heliotrope that isn't overly powdered and a bit of vanilla whose sweetness isn't too much. I get moderate sillage and longevity out of it and I'd wear it in the fall, winter, or early spring. I'd suggest a sample before buying, it's a little expensive for a blind buy.

I remember liking the smell of Amethyst and remember it being equal berry scented and very green scented. I liked it quite a bit, but it made me more curious as to what the other two smelled like (eclat and exquise). Still haven't smelled eclat, but purchased this one for a pretty good price. I like this one even more. The green scent is still there, but more muted like you are just smelling a few of the stems and leaves attached to the gorgeous berry notes. Highly enjoyable and slightly more appealing than the original.

Nice darker version of the original, Slightly boozy and syrupy. It reminds me of blackberry mulled wine. It also has an orchid vanillic sweetness that adds some character, it's the sexier, mysterious, more of a grown up sister of Amethyst OG and lacks its so realistic berry juice this has. BEAST mode frag. Longevity: 10+ Sillage: Strong Seasons: Winter, Fall, Early Spring chilly nights. Ages: 21+

This is woody and fruity - less floral than the original Amethyst (which often has a cat pee note for me - gutted). It doesn’t play loudly on me and it doesn’t last an eternity but I like it while it’s here. Inoffensive and light - I don’t see this as a ‘night elixir’ at all. Can be worn all year round and I think it borders on unisex - not majorly feminine or masculine.

I have both this and Lalique Amythest and I prefer the latter. The Exquise version on me has less blackberry and more sandalwood and this becomes more prominent as it develops. There is also a slight minty note at the opening which I’m puzzled by. I will have to keep testing more.

This has grown on me. I get berries and sandalwood mostly. It is feminine, but also gives me outdoorsy “in the woods” vibes. Something different. The scent bubble is about arms reach and it lasts for a reasonable amount of time. Good for Autumn and Spring. Too heavy for Summer.

Rose and dark jammy berries with the right amount of sweet. The sandalwood whispers throughout the whole experience and the vanilla gives it a nice touch. Soft + sensual + ethereal. Like a voluptuous forest fairy wearing a silk garb strolling about the woods in the evening.

This is a nice smell but for me it’s just too much of goodness in one cocktail, I’d prefer no blackberry here. This scent reminds me Good Girl CH and Trussardi Sound of donna plus Original Amethyst.

The heaviest drydown of all the amethyst... bright current opening with a rose powdery wood drydown. I can still smell this on my clothes days after wearing

I like this. The original is tart , just like berries are but exquise is sweeter, more refined. However, on me it doesn’t last long.

This smells like MANGO, I was surprised to see there’s no mango at all.. So sweet and yet delicate.

Lalique amethyst exquise is a very elegant scent, slightly sensual and perfect for cold weather!

Ngl the first couple tries of this it smelled straight like a toilet to me. Like toilet water, the humidity of the air in summer, mixed with bougie white florals toilet spray, haha, but it's grown on me surprisingly! The opening is beautiful. The immediate spray is very boozy and even powdery, then the blackberry/currant-ish-ness kicks in. It has a runny-thick kind of fruit profile, almost reminds me of a berry cordial, in between jam and juice. A very juicy and not so sweet berry feel which I can appreciate! The slight sweetness dissipates, then as it dries, yep. It's that toilety floral, but with time it settles to be powdery, watery, and very purple.

I returned this, but kept the original Amethyst. I was expecting way more. It's kinda a dated scent and not in a good way. Too woody for me maybe? All I know is I can't remember much about it other than being disappointed. I was expecting something like Delicious Night, or something daring and sexy like that. Do buy the original of this fragrance if you're on the fence, it's amazing!

amethyst with a zest. too intense for my taste - but this is amethyst for those who want something a little more exciting.

It doesn't smell at all like the original!all I smell is powdery benzoin with a hint of raspberry!it is so heavy it gave me a headache and stays on the skin for a long time.

I like Amethyst so much, I have expected Amethyst Exquis to become my favorite one. But it's not. Berries are too heavy and too strong.

Loved the top notes when I tested it outside on a chilly day, dry down indoors was awful, scrubbed it.

Overwhelmingly strong, and likely to trigger headaches, especially for migraine sufferers.

This perfume was one that I have been studying reviews for several months, trying to decide if I should try this or not. I really liked the original Amethyst by Lalique so decided to give this a chance. The blend that I received is more of a transparent blend of raspberry and deeper berries, the over all effect is like a grape-y purple (I do NOT detect the boozy or jam quality of berries that a number of other reviews have stated, there can sometimes be two or more different perfume formulas, who knows - but this is NOT as heavy and dark as what the other reviews indicated). There is a transparent watercolor type essence about the composition of this - the formula is still dainty and delicate, even though there are darker berries represented in the ingredients. This is refreshingly "fresh" blend of notes - similar to the original Lalique Amethyst... these two are definitely kin, Amethyst may be the younger sibling or possibly child of the more mature Lalique Amethyst Exquise... but this doesn't mean that this perfume is "dated" or "mature" as in perfumes which people often say are "old lady" -- the refreshing quality of this perfume is modern enough twist where you know that this is a more modern formulation. I really love "purple" perfumes, they are not an everyday perfume signature for me, but more of an uplifting mood enhancement. This definitely has that type of vibe, this is upbeat, fun, and even whimsical. The Fragrantica perfume reviews may be somewhat misleading on this perfume. This is not as "heavy" and "dark" as some of the perfume reviews would imply. Then again, they may have watered down the formula. I remember the true strength of perfumes from the 80's and this smells watered down compared to stronger perfumes such as Poison by Christian Dior or Euphoria by Calvin Klein). If you like this type of perfume, you may also like Alien (the original) and Rare Amethyst by Avon. They are all perfumes in the "purple family". I'm still sampling this. I actually like this very much... I also like the original Lalique Amethyst. Both are very nice and different enough where you may like both. ----------- Longevity? Yes, this wears a LONG time - I tried this on and sprayed it in the inner elbow zone, this lasted over 12 hours on the skin, but was just barely noticeable. This starts as a fairly light and airy type berry fragrance, the best word that I can use to describe it - is "transparent". It is there, but it is not heavy - you can smell through the layers of this, almost like a transparent watercolor (visually). Both Lalique Amethyst and Lalique Amethyst Equise lasted over 12 hours on the skin, but the silage and projection is faint... both start with the same type transparency that allows you to know that this is a more modern interpretation of perfume, but it doesn't have the same type strength of the 80's perfumes which have silage and projection throughout the entire wear of the perfume. ---------- The Final Verdict: I sampled this a few times over one week. The first time I tried it, I liked it better than after testing this further. The more I sampled this, the more it appeared to be watered down and not as potent or as long lasting as the original Lalique Amethyst. Lalique Amethyst has the sweet/sour type dynamic happening - which adds more intrigue to the formula, especially in the dry down phase. I will stick with the original Amethyst, that is much better with my chemistry - I have received several compliments on it.

This perfume, Amethyst Exquise, was originally marketed to the Middle East . It is supposed to be a darker, more intense version of Amethyst. Lalique did exactly that. When first sprayed, I get a clean oud top note, but it's not listed on Fragrantica. What I perceive as the clean oud note eventually works its way into a layer of woods and dark vanilla. After about 45 minutes, the berries show up and they are not the bright juicy berries of Amethyst Original, but I perceive them as darker and serious. On me it becomes a romantic oriental perfume that is built around woods and dark, dark berries. Exquise was created as an evening perfume, the dark version of the playful daytime Original. I will wear both of them, I think the darker version will be terrific for cold days while the Original will remain an all year favorite for me.

just got this today & oh my what a beautiful deep dark berry scent........this is definitely the darker side of amethyst....even tho its darker & richer its not overwhelming - i find it to be very wearable......the description says "sour" but i dont detect any sour notes at all.......on me its very berry - in a delicious yummy way - seriously yummy - u smell ur arm & u keep coming back for more lol :) its an adult berry scent - not a teen berry scent lol if u are a fan of the other scents in the amethyst line i would say u should love this - but if u are not a fan then i would say it may be too berry for you lol if i were to rate the amethyst scents i would rank this one #1 then the original then eclat well done lalique !!! and love the purple bottles btw :)

I’ve had this for 2 years tucked away in a dark dresser because I didn’t like it. I got it because I’m in love with the OG. I sprayed this on my jacket yesterday and it’s a love. The vanilla deepened a bit after sitting and it definitely rounded out from its nostril stinging fruity top notes. Still fruity but now much softer with a transparent vanilla softness. I don’t like to put my nose right on it because I get a smarties candy powderiness which I do not like. It’s very much more an “in the air” trail scent that is extremely attractive, sweet, and clean. All to say is definitely give it a bit of time to macerate. Might be overwhelming in the summer.

The photo doesn't do the bottle justice because where there are vines the color of the perfume shows as a golden amber that makes the bottle look mysterious and gives a fairy tale aesthetic. It's a very pretty and charming bottle. I think I prefer it and the perfume to the original. It's a little more complex and interesting. I chose not to buy Amethyst Eclat for now. Might try that one too. Amethyst Exquise was the highest priced at $47 while the other two go for less than $30. Lalique did well with these bottles. They look expensive, and the perfumes as well.

At first spritz I definitely get berries and orchid. Sillage is moderate. In the drydown it becomes a super classy aroma, I really like it. It's suitable for all ages I would say, and pretty much any season (though I wouldn't wear it in summer). Very pretty. I like this and I also like the original Amethyst, I feel like they could both hold a place in a collection.

This isn't so fruity, in fact it is all vanilla, sandalwood and benzoin and only then a bit fruity. I've got the Eclat and they share exactly same fruity accords, but unlike Eclat which takes the cheerful pink route of blushed spring peonies and fresh roses, Exquise turns sultry and sexy with vanilla and sandalwood. Somewhat same lines as YSL Manifesto.

The perfume I actually have is Lalique Amethyst. Not exquise. But it is the best perfume i own! It has such a nice scent. It has the scent of black berry type and flowery and extremely expensive smell. It just gives me the feeling of wearing the best thing on earth. I know my description sucks but all im getting at is that you should definitely buy it!

Woody black berry scent. It is strong and somewhat resinous, elegant, refined. It also feels like a fruity wine. It doesn't mention leather but I feel something like a leather or suede note. I feel this scent can be polarizing. I have updated my review to add that it has a slightly sour element that can be difficult to tolerate.
