Claire de Nilang

I'm curious if the reviewers who hated this might have the gene that makes cilantro (coriander leaf) smell and taste bad. I find Claire de Nilang pretty inoffensive, even unisex, and I'm not exactly a lover of freesia, it can be sneeze-inducing. My brother said it smelled nice, like a fresh showered person who uses expensive soap. I know I'll wear this on the hottest humid days and feel fresh. Also my name is Claire and this is the only perfume with my name on it besides Hermes Claire de Marveilles which doesn't come with a lotus-shaped soap and my name REAL BIG on the box. update: this has become my favorite fresh/aquatic.

Great scent, a bit sharp in the beginning; very fresh with a note of tobacco or maybe something else, but thanks to this ingredient Nilang has a lot of character.

I initially liked Claire Nilang due to its similarities with Nilang, however the prolonged bitterness of coriander and the dense florals put me off somewhat. Being lighter and less oriental, it could be a nice alternative to Nilang in summer or for someone who likes bitter floral scents, it can be worn throughout the year. Claire Nilang is an interesting and possibly one of a kind aquatic floral fragrance with an inimitable Nilang feel. For the moment, I'll stick to Nilang though.

Generic floral for spring. Freesia, citrus and pepper with some sandalwood. Light, safe, nondescript.

I HATE this!! It smells awful. It opens with the strong odor of cat pee and freesia. Think cat ladies house with a bunch of freesia air freshners. This is quickly followed by the scent of lime stohmac acid. Imagine if you ate a bag of limes then vomited on the freesia airfreshner from before. The dry down is a musty freesia. Gross gross gross!! I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Also isn't lalique a famous glass maker? Why does this come in a plastic bottle? Maybe I got a knock off?? Just EW. Scent 0/10, Sillage 10/10

Is the bottle actually plastic, or did I get duped with a knock-off? I just find it bizarre that Lalique would make a plastic bottle rather than th glass for which they are known.

i dont like it at all... it sure is very... srarp, you can say, and is much too strong for me... i tried to wipe it off once i put it on.

A fresh and clean fragance that lasts all day. One of my favourites for summer, I always get a burst of energy when i spray it.
