“Fleur Universelle” – the flower that would stand for all flowers. Tonka, patchouli, and Lorenox trace, with almost unsettling fidelity, the stem and leaves of this imagined bloom. In 'Fleur Universelle', the warm-sand scent of the everlasting flower is enhanced by rum and cinnamon and spiced up with pink pepper and cardamom. It is a comforting and mesmerizing scent. Sweet caramel facets of rum blend effortlessly with cinnamon's warming spiciness in the opening notes. Pink pepper and cardamom offer inward reflection and further piquant accord. Slowly as if a cautiously opening bloom, the eponymous immortelle flower is noticed. Its unique scent profile is so expertly blended with the other components as to be nearly seamless in its transition. Immortelle's dusty, ambery and caramelic facets are put on full display. Here additions of myrrh and tonka bean swirl in and out of focus contributing hay-like qualities and hints of resinous depth. Patchouli and a synthetic "Lorenox" note (woody, ambery, and aromatic) complete the fragrance's base. For me this fragrance epitomizes autumn, carrying with it a clever comfortableness which invites long embraces. It leans masculine due to its heavy reliance upon amber, spice and woody notes, but may be certainly enjoyed and worn by women as well. 'Fleur Universelle' is captivating in that it can be successfully suited for causal encounters as well as reserved for more formal occasions. Fleur Universelle was a blind buy for me... the bottle is majestic, and the juice doesn't disappoint. Well, sort of. This is an example of an oriental perfume at its best. It's warm, spicy, alluring, with a strong presence. It's not feminine, but that doesn't bother m; in my opinion, this is unisex leaning slightly masculine. It is so well blended and smooth, despite the spices, I can't help but love it. I read opinions saying that the flower in its name must be the immortelle. Immortelle in my experience smells a bit like maple syrup, and I can't detect much of that here. What I smell is myrrh . Lots of it, along with Amber, woods, booze, which smells more like cognac to my nose than like rum, and spices. If there is immortelle here it's dry and herbal. The lasting power is pretty good and the silage isn't bad either. A pleasant surprise, not cheap, so interesting. Recommended only to women who like unisex orientals, as this, under any stretch of imagination, could not be called floral, despite its name, or to sexy and elegant men.

وقتی اولین استشمام رو انجام میدید شاید شما رو یاد زمانی بندازه که درب دبه ترشی رو باز میکنید . البته بسیار سریع این وضعیت تغییر میکنه . به چند نفر هم تست دادم گفتند بوی نوشیدنی الکلی میده بعد از اون 1 دقیقه اولیه، عطر حالتی کهربایی پیدا میکنه و در کنار اون شما رایحه ای تلخ، کمی دودی، کمی تند و البته تعادلی میان شیرینی و ترشی رو حس خواهید کرد . که تلخی عطر به سایر نوت ها میچربه کمی بعد حالت خاکی، پودری و البته خشک مانندی به عطر اضافه میشه که رایحه دارچین در راس اون قرار داره و شما رو تا آخرین نفس های لالیک یونیورساله همراهی میکنه ماندگاری عطر روی پوست خوبه و روی لباس بسیار بهتر . اگر بعد از یه روز کاری، لباستون رو داخل کمد بزارید و فردای اون روز برید سراغ لباس و دوباره بوش کنید بوی غالب صمغ مرّ و کمی دارچین رو حس خواهید کرد که بسیار بسیار شعیف شدند . در کل عطر دوست داشتنی هست برای کسانی که عطرای اسپایسی متعادل رو دوست داشته باشند . یعنی عطرشون تعادلی میان تلخی، شیرینی و ترشی باشه که از نظر من لالیک کارش رو خوب انجام داده و یه عطر خاص رو روانه بازار کرده که ارزش تست و کاوش کردنش رو داره .

This is complex but light and a little earthy, the opening is very short, only lasts for a few minutes then goes straight to mid and base notes. In the far dry down and for the rest of the duration, the predominant notes are animalic myrrh, cinnamon, and tonka beans. On my skin, I've got moderate projection and sillage of 2hr, and average longevity of about 6hr. This one sits pretty close to the skin and kinda subtle, I wouldn't hesitate to wear it to the office, it would work in Spring and Fall, it's not sharp enough to cut through the Winter cold and wouldn't be my first choice as summer scent. I can go heavier on the sprayer without choking anyone out though, 5 to 6 sprays should be fine (both side of neck, back of neck, both inner elbows, and one on the chest and you're good to go. You can find them from discounters for about $100, which is a fair price. Great presentation, very nice and shinny wooden box, and the bottle is gorgeous!

Beautiful product! The bottle alone is to die for and it comes in a LALIQUE branded French polished wooden black box that screams understated luxury. The entire collection is a feast for the eye and brilliant packaging. The scent here is marvellous and very similar to GUERLAIN's L'Instant de Guerlain. No floral component except for Immortelle, very spicy, warm, sweet, cozy, feel-good aromatic elixir. Only let down, it does not last as long as an EdP should, so for me it really only is an EdT in terms of longevity. And I would love to know and have someone competent explain to me, what that "Lorexon Molecule" is supposed to smell like. This retails at £180 in London's most luxurious department store and I think it makes a brilliant Xmas gift or just another excuse to update your fall/winter scent wardrobe. For those on a budget: get "L'instant" de Guerlain and you get perhaps a 'better perfume for less money".....perhaps that is. 8/10.

I blind bought this based off of the notes, the gorgeous bottle, and the fact that I love so many Lalique fragrances so far. This is stunning. On me, it is a rich, deep, intoxicating, ambery sweetness with Myrhh & Rum being the most prominent followed by Cardamom and Tonka Bean. I think it leans more feminine, but honestly the spicy warmth would also be so sexy on a man. Maybe I will get my husband to try this. It is so sophisticated and well blended. Smells very luxurious. I am so glad I got a bottle of this, if I run low and it is still available, I'll be buying another bottle. It does remind me of Angel Share's DNA (I only have the Julianna's perfume dupe), but this is not directly gourmand and makes you want to lean in to smell more. Love this.

As expected from my favourite designer house in fragrances, fleur Universelle continues my love towards Lalique. Fleur Universelle for me is more of a masculine scent than unisex, it is a warm spicy oriental scent with the cinnamon, myrrh and rum, it is a comforting hugging scent, it is not a loud scent as most of Lalique offerings, but an elegant one. It is not a gourmand scent by anymeans, and has a little sweetness as I like my fragrances to be. If you like ombre noir by Lalique, I do think that you would enjoy fleur Universelle too, as both are spicy oriental scents, but fleur Universelle has no fresh notes like ombre noir (bergamot, mint and fig), and here the difference lies. The thing that I don't like is the big price it has.

WHOAAAA! I’m in love, this is a intoxicating fragrance. Very boozy myrrh and cognac. There are no flowers in here just cardamom pink pepper and lots of rum and myrrh on me. this reminds me of a library in a very old mansion in Manhattan. Expensive and cozy with the fireplace going! this is not a summer garden party scent at all, well I guess anyone can wear anything anywhere, right? I can’t wait to wear this in the fall and winter with my sweaters. Not sure how the longevity will be or the sillage at this point I just got it in the mail today, will come back to let you know. I am so happy I purchased this.....TF and Serge Lutens eat your heart out! 😜

The opening phase of Fleur Universelle brings to my mind a picture of a syrupy compote with more than just a pinch of spices. Don't worry though, you won't drown in sugar, since the fragrance gets tamer and feels warm, slightly oriental and sophisticated, also a bit powdery. The funny thing is that while many reviewers point out the unisex or a bit masculine nature of this scent, to me it's purely feminine. I associate this beautiful concoction with sensuality and would use it to emphasize the moments I feel like embracing my femininity. So... This contrast probably means that the scent truly is unisex and universal, in fact ;-)

I don't believe I've seen a "this perfume reminds me of" section more all over the place than this one. Even the reviews below are quite varied and it appears this fragrance is a little (or a lot) different to everyone who gets their nose on it. For me it's very tonka forward, so much so that I smell little else. And I adore it! I get nothing remotely similar to Angels' Share, Miss Dior, or Grand Soir but it's fascinating that others do. This one is a shape-shifter if anything. Sillage is tame but longevity is good, roughly 6 hours. It's a warm toasty calming scent and an immediate addition to my favorites list for sure.

Spicy, boozy, ambery, with hints of tobacco leaf. The immortelle comes across as a spicy cigar tobacco due to the addition of spices and amber pushing it in that direction. This smells like a walk in humidor of you’ve ever experienced that. It starts with subdued sweetness, sweet like dried fruits or rum, then grows gradually drier until in the far dry down it becomes almost creamy smelling like sandalwood or aged vanilla pods. Very high quality smelling, somewhat linear. I’m 10 hours in and I can clearly smell it in the air from my skin. It will last well past 12 hours as a skin scent, but will last days on clothes.

Resinous, boozy, spicy, not too focussed on cinnamon it has lots of various warm spiciness to it. Ah I LOVE these kinds of scents (This is Noir Premier 1900 one) You really just can't go wrong with this note profile, unless it's cheaply done. This one is top notch. The myrrh and immortelle could be a hit and miss as occasionally they are too fizzy / herbal but here it does not stand out. Wow! This is one of the most beautiful fragrances I put my nose on recently. It's very unisex and leans back and forth to men's and women's at different stages. Having said that I really don't care whatever it is because it's so beautiful. It's warm and spicy, with some amber and cardamom and soft floral notes. It's one of the best balanced fragrances I have ever seen. I cannot put in words how great it is. If you like fragrances, you have to get a bottle of this. I can call it a masterpiece without a doubt.

I'm in deep love with this perfume :) The scent is so rich, warm and sweet with such beautiful complexity. The bottle and the package design are so classy and luxurious. It is definitely a very romantic scent. I stumbled upon this bottle last week at a beauty store and I test sprayed it on a testing paper. I could still smell the scent on the paper after 8 days. The longevity is crazy lasting and end notes are beautiful and elegant. Pricey but worth it. A must own for anyone's fragrance collection I'd say.

Lalique's Fleur Universelle is divine!!! I worship it!!! I'm totally in love with it. It's so beautiful! So rich and classy and sensual and luxurious!!! And such a sensational bottle!!! It's the most gorgeous perfume! I get stunning compliments in it!!! Men adore it, and women go crazy for it!!! I'm SO lucky to have been given this divine scent by my beloved!!!!! I never want to be without it!!!!

A lovely,warm spicy and unique perfume. this is an unisex fragrance like any other of "NOIR PREMIER LA COLLECTION"... it's wonderfully rich&warm spicy,a bit sweet with top note "Pink Pepper and rum"..Interesting I think it could be even better on a man.longevity and sillage are very well.This is one of the most beautiful Pink Pepper base fragrance i have ever smelled.

I purchased this about one year ago and as always i have too many fragrances and not enough time to wear them. My sister came over and tried it, next thing I know the perfume went missing. I smelled something on her which was divine, I asked what she was wearing, she told me it was my perfume. I had to buy another one. It is a great fragrance with really good silage.

Rum, spice, a sexy sharpness and longevity. A few sprays will last all day so watch out and don't overdo it. If you like Coromandel, Dune, Coco, Elixr des Merveilles or similar you will love the rum, cardamom, and mature spiciness of this beautiful fragrance. Not for the young or sugary crowd. Wear this with prowess. She is a beautiful goddess deserving respect.

I wish that the beautiful opening, especially the boozy rum notes supported by cinnamon lasted even just a tiny bit longer here, but unfortunately they quickly give way to something else and the drydown happens so quickly and then it's just a soft, beautiful, captivating skin scent!! No flowers, just soft spices and most intoxicating cozy vanilla and warmth.

Fleur Universelle is an elegant, intoxicating delight. Probably my first truly successful blind buy. On another note: The packaging made me burst into laughter. Very stunning. Would make a great gift, but when purchased for oneself it felt a little over the top.

Slinky evening dress with either plunging neckline or open back, you choose, a sharp suit works too. Point is, if you wear this with jeans and a t-shirt, I'll have to find you and tear your clothes off, because wearing this naked is definitely better. Love.

amber, wood, leather, resinous and a bit like opoponax yet sweet/sticky almost like a tobacco fragrance; goes on gangbusters but quickly loses its steam and becomes very close. Reminds me a bit of one of my Serge Lutens.

A really lovely cozy spicy scent but I've smelt similar without such a hefty price tag. It retracts to a skin scent very quickly.

Wow!! This is soooo darn good!! It's blended well and is along the lines of Angel's Share. Really like this one! :))

Delicious, animalic, sophisticated, fruity. 10/10

This is the first trully unisex scent that I've tried from the premium line of Lalique. It is safe and pleasant daytime scent for spring and especially for summer. Moderate sillage and above the average longevity. I'm not impressed but I like it. Somehow it reminds me a bunch of other fragrancues but nothing in particular. On my skin dominant notes are firstly the cinnamon along with rum, tonka beans and mild pink pepper. Smooth blend but I'd prefer a discreet cinnamon note which won't become dominant. The myrrh is mild on my skin, this scent is not dark. There is also intensive immortelle and noticeable but soft cardamom. Whatever is this lorenox note, does not affects the blend. If you love cinnamon try it. Quite versatile and safe scent.

Top note just alcoholic gradually rum comes out then after it sits the cinnamon starts to dance in the background, it dance till the tonka appears but still you can hear the cinnamon dancing 💃bare feet 🎶 🎵. Sillage is weak you have to sniff it on your skin, longevity is weak as well. This perfume has nothing to do with projection. I bought it for 80 € on discounters which was ok for such packaging,; and the scent itself is a pleasant gourmand so i would say its a worthy under 100€ but over 200€ no way!

You ever had a Hot Toddy? That is what this fragrance evokes in my mind when i smell it. Opens with a boozy sweetness that blends perfectly with the medicinal sourness of the immortelle. All of the spices here blend beautifully with the immortelle and compliment it in the best way. This is autumn in a bottle. Boozy, sweet, spicy, aromatic and all around comforting. This is a beautiful use of immortelle. Maybe leans a smidge feminine, but i think men can easily wear this.

I like products of Lalique.But i do not need any gorgeous packaging for perfume bottles... Anyway, juice inside is nice and comforting.

Very Spicy Boozy Oriental. Opens with blast of Bacardi Spiced Rum, Pink Pepper and Cardamom. Heart soon follows with a Dark, Heavy, Myrrh and Spicy Cinnamon with a little Immortelle threaded through. Base notes then come with a Heavy Tonka Bean and a Fairly Heavy Chewy Vegetal Patchouli. The Lorenox reads as Golden Amber and a light Buttery Suede on my skin. It is unisex but leans strongly masculine to me on my skin.

Nice warming spice, not loud. Don't love the opening but the semisweet and smooth dry down is worth it. Completely unisex but leans "traditionally male" as it's not very sweet and no florals. I'd wear it to work, very inoffensive, mild, crowd pleasing. Review of full bottle blind-buy.

Overwhelming sweet rum, which does give way to spices eventually, but it's too boozy for me.

I purchased this today and cannot wait to review!! To be continued... So I am so sad to say that I dont care for this as much as I thought I would. Which is the risk of blind buying fragrances. I was hoping it was closer to the "rum and rasin ice cream" vibe as one of the reviewers said along with one of Demi Rawling's videos. However to me, there is no sweetness. Other than that, it is exactly what everyone says in other reviews, a well done spicy smokey lightly boozy fragrance when I say smokey I mean not burnt type of smoky like a fuzzy smokey. I can understand the appeal. This is different, and I would admire a person wearing this and probably compliment them, but its just not for me. I am going to sell mine, which only has three sprays gone from when I first tried it. I will trade as well, if someone has a good sweet fragrance to offer. I have it for the best price on ebay by a pretty good amount (around 60 something I believe) So let me know if you're interested. :)

Smells like an expensive version of Cuticura talcum powder that I'm used to during my childhood, a mass market fragrance. My skin often turns some fragrances very powdery and this fragrance gets too powdery and cloying on my skin. Based on the notes breakdown, I can detect dusty Immortelle and cardamom to be the most dominant notes. The Myrhh and patchouli are quite medicinal which gives me the Cuticura talcum powder vibes. Rum along with other spices adds a little bit of depth which is a nice touch. Not unique, nothing special for the price. The dry-down of this fragrance is entirely powdery with dry-spicy nuances, average on projection with great longevity.

Recently i've got to test and share my thoughts on fragrances which had names i didn't see fit. So is the case with Lalique's Fleur Universelle. One would get the impression that its a very floral fragrance, judged on name alone. While it does feature the note of Immortelle, i wouldn't call it a floral-dominant fragrance. The perfume opens up with the aforementioned Immortelle note, with rum and cinnamon. I recently reviewed Kilian's Straight to Heaven which also opens up with a strong note of rum, but in Fleur Universelle it is more "boozy". In the Kilian review i mentioned that the rum note lacked the burning or alcoholic aspect, in Lalique it is definetly there. As a disclaimer, the two scent have nothing else in common, only the rum note, which is also done differently, as i just explained. Anyway, back to Lalique. It is very luminous from what i suspect is the Immortelle and Pink pepper notes, especially in the opening, hence why i think it leans a little bit to the feminine side, but not something a man couldn't wear. I cannot detect the myrrh and its distinct "COCA COLA" scent, i do detect the patchouli and to me its herbacious. All in all, i'd say its a bright-boozy-spicy perfume. Everyone's nose is different tho so you might pick it up differently, i suspect Fleur Universelle is a chameleonic scent. I'd like to adress comparitions with Angel's Share. I personally never smelt Angel's Share, but i've tested Lattafa Khamrah so take what i have to say with a grain of salt since its debated if Khamrah is an Angel's Share clone in the first place. I don't really see the connection myself. Khamrah is alot thicker, syrupy, sugary sweet, and i don't find it boozy at all. Genderwise, if i found Straight to Heaven 60% masculine, Fleur Universelle is 60% feminine and Khamrah is more so due to the sweetness. I often associate boozy notes with whiskey or cognac, an impression that portrays a masculine direction, but it is not the case here. From my initial testings, longevity seems good. The price of Lalique Noir Premier fragrances are all over the place. Sometimes you can find them for 100 dollars, in which case i find Fleur Universelle a good deal, especially if you take presentation into consideration. The presentation on this line is God-tier. Sometimes i see them sold for over 200 dollars and that is too much i believe.

Yesterday I stumbled over this beautiful fragrance and was stunned in a second when my nose made contact with the spicy aroma. The bottles certainly draw your attention and you somehow hope their content matches the attractive flacons. Out of the whole line I like Fleur Universelle and the Or the most. Unfortunately, the price (I paid 222 Euro) made it impossible to simply buy both....but I indulged in one of them. My choice was the wonderful unflowery flower scent. There are no flowers in there, just spices, vanilla and : dust. In a positive way. In the beginning you encounter nutmeg, cinnamon and cardamom, it ́s all about gingerbread. Then the dust kicks in. Dried flowers smell similar, at least in my memory, always liked to smell them. The base is woody and resembles Armani ́s Bois d ́Encens. This scent very much reminds me of Bois d ́Arménie by Guerlain. The same soft and very understated sweetness, the dry and dusty feel, similar to old libraries. The same class but in a much more beautiful Art Nouveau bottle. OK, the outer lacquered box is totally unnecessary for me (I hate the ritual of unboxing the whole thing before using the scent but then you do not want to Keep such a bottle unboxed). I hate to pay for such fancy-schmancy knick-knack but well...the Juice is my focus. Personally, I would describe this perfume my favourite discovery of the year 2015 (it came late but it did come after all). Cheers !

This is good, a grown up gourmand. It starts off with a blast of spices. Cardamon, pink pepper and cinnamon. Quite 'in your face' at the beginning, but it quickly settles down. The immortelle here smells like honey. Then as it starts settling down, I get rum and raisins. Like it has Armani Si mixed in which on my skin is just that all the way. It's quite boozy at the beggining but the booziness doesn't continue for long. Interestigly the nose behind this also created Armani Si. Is she addicted to ice-cream? One of my favourite flavors. As it develops more I get warm apple pie with vanilla ice-cream. Then it changes again and smells a bit like a fizzy drink. Something like Sprite. It doesn't last very long, around 6 hours and fairly soon becomes a skin scent. When it goes into the dry down, it's rum and raisins again with some tonka. The presentation on this is superb! Beautiful lacquered box and a hefty glass bottle worthy of Lalique name. This bottle is so heavy it could be used as a murder weapon instead of a trophy from an episode of CSI. One of my most stunning bottles. This would make a great gift and honestly looks more expensive than it is.

من به تبع اینکه فلفل صورتی و هل توامان در این.کار هستن بلایند تهیه ش کردم. یه چیزی در ترکیب این عطر ذکر شده به اسم مولکول لورکسون. لورکسون یه القا گر ادهیژن سلولی و عروقی هستش که باعث التهاب و آترواسکلروز میشه. حتی در مقالات تخصصی کاردیولوژی بوییدن ترکیبهایی که این رو دارن هم ذکر شده. نمیدونم لالیک چرا بایستی اینکارو کنه و اگر اینکارم بکنه چرا بایستی رسانه ایش کنه. به لحاظ پخش بو و ماندگاریش فکر میکنم جزو بهترین کارهای لالیک باشه. من وویاژ هرمس توقعم از استفاده از هل رو برده بالا و سخت تونستم با هلی که به مشامم میخورد توی این کار وصل بشم. اما ترکیب اسپایسی و تا حدی شیرین فلفل صورتی خیلی جالبه توی این کار. فلفل صورتی خیلی عالی میتونه به یه عطر عمق بده. و هیچی بیشتر از عمق عطر نمیتونه یه عطر رو شیک کنه. کار جالبیه. اما با این قیمت شما فقط باید عاشقش شده باشین که پول پاش بدین. و من جای خالی فلفل صورتی توی کارام همیشه بود و با هزینه پایینی از دوستی خریدمش. . من همین قیمت بخوام برای فلفل صورتی دوباره خرج کنم نویت توبروز از ل آرتیزان پارفوم میاد توی گزینه هام هرچند پخش بوش نسبت به این یک سومه. بعد از تستش توی یکی از مغازه های تهران هنوز دارم بهش فکر میکنم.

Elegance, luxury and sophistication. Brings to mind images of the Gilded Age. This is a man in a white tuxedo shirt with tortoise shell spectacles, sleeves rolled up, with a glass of port in hand or a dark haired woman in an airy, emerald backless dress decked in nothing else but a pearl choker. I sniffed this just from the sprayer and fell in love. Seductive and cozy at the same time. A balance of rum, immortelle, cinnamon, spice and everything nice. Almost borderline gourmand. Not a screamer, because true elegance does not thirst for attention.

Like every unisex fragrance it leans feminine and has no character or memorable composition. Just a blah scent for the masses. It's nothing manly and rugged... And nothing pretty and sexy. It's just there, a scent for anybody and everybody to forget. Can be worn by all ages and all seasons. Uncreative and easily forgettable. Im a huge fan of Lalique and own 6 of their men's fragrances. My wife has 4 of their woman's fragrances. However neither of us find Fleur Universelle interesting. It's not a bad scent. Just boring AF.

Opens very resinous with myrrh, labdanum, immortelle. A beautiful pepper note adds a delicate sparkle. Quite natural-smelling tonka and syrupy immortelle come forward in the heart giving a true boozy impression. There's a very subtle sweatiness from the immortelle- a welcome bit of complexity. Immortelle persists into the drydown supported by practically nothing. Gives a nice syrupy amber impression, but severely lacks complexity and tenacity. Patchouli could've done wonders here.

This is rich, spicy, deep and smoky without being too loud or offensive. First blast, the notes that stand out to me are the rum and patchouli. All of the notes, however, are well blended. I can detect a whiff of the cardamom as this settles on the skin. On dry down the notes become a bit softer and the strong patchouli note fades a bit, turning this into a lovely rich, warm, cozy scent. The performance is BEAST MODE and the sillage is crazy.

Quite beautiful first impression with this! Initial spray kinda reminds me of fanta, haha. Sweetly resinous, and spicy that may still work for someone who doesn't like the idea of spicy, I think. Non-oriental. Kinda body wash or almost a drink like quality, non-gourmand. Super smooooth. Not super daring but special enough, and pretty unisex. Rather linear which works for me, and lasts about 6 hours. Wish it projected more.

Lordy, lordy, lordy: this is darn good. I am a male and not much into roses and petals and that sort of garden on my fragrances. Not this gem: the "fleur" is beautifully done with that booziness aura that is intoxicating. Blind buy jackpot. Yayyyyy!!!!!

I like it as a light spray. I love it over applied. It's never cloying. Sorry to be graphic but it's one of the rare perfumes that smells extra nice on body hair. The aroma is root beer enjoyed on a cool but sunny day in a middle-eastern souk.
