Lalique White

Like a lot of other offerings from Lalique, the price to quality ratio here is unreal. Lalique is probably my favorite house, and fragrances like this support that preference. The opening is fresh, aromatic, and a bit spicy. Not like an oriental spicy, but like a green spiciness, if that is a thing. Spicy in the way that arugula, escarole, or frisée is spicy. I guess this is the "fresh spicy" accord that I am picking up on, and I love it. There is a creamy woody quality to it too once you get into the mid. There is nothing offensive here. It also seems a bit subdued or reserved. Perfect office scent. Doesn't seem to project much, and I don't think it would be possible to overspray this. I know that GIT is the king of spring, but this has to be the seneschal or high priest or whatever other patriarchal analog you prefer. It feels just as classy and sophisticated as GIT but more easy to wear and with a better opening. Appropos of the name it does smell white to me, in the same way that Green Irish Tweed smells green and Bleu de Chanel smells blue. Unlike other white scents though, it doesn't smell floral. If you go looking for floral notes you will pick up the violet, but really the overall impression of the fragrance is not floral. There is also a clean and light musk in the mid and dry down that is very pleasant. After about 2 hours there is a powdery note that is almost sweet, but not quite. I used 9 sprays of this (behind both ears, back of the neck, back of both wrists, both elbows, both shoulders). I am currently about 2 hours into this fragrance and I still get whiffs of it when moving. On the next wearing I may go up to 12 sprays, as this is a pretty light fragrance. For layering, I imagine that this would actually combine really well with GIT. It might also go well with woody fragrances with cedar or sandalwood notes. I think it would clash with boozy or oudy notes, so I would avoid those. After a few wearings I will come back and update this with some more performance notes to include longevity.

Lalique White is now in my top 3 most unique fragrances that I own. And for a summer edt, that's quite a feat as far as I'm concerned. I really can't say enough good things about this one. Unique, unique, unique is the order of the day. For me this scent reminds me of sitting under a weeping willow tree at a Louisiana bed and breakfast reading an Alfred Hitchcock novel. There's no electronic distractions on site. Just good old fashion easy living, where a made from scratch dinner is being prepared with the all the trimmings. As you transition your way from outside to inside the house, you can smell a combination of walnut trees, fresh ground pepper from the kitchen and a distinguished musty smell of curtains, old furniture, clean linen and antiques mixing with the clean summer breeze coming through the bedroom window as you rest on the bed waiting for dinner to be served. The pepper in this composition is niche quality, and easily the most natural of all my scents, even beating out He Wood Rocky Mountain Wood's pepper note in terms of authentic recreation. People on here are calling this one "safe". I venture to call it borderline safe. Especially when this gets tossed into the Summer fragrance category. There are things in Lalique White that I could see off putting to the average Macy's fragrance counter shark looking for a Nauticaesque people pleaser, so I wouldn't exactly call this nutty/peppery oddity a mainstream offering. However, If you're looking to break up the summertime fragrance monotony, here's your cure. If there's another warm weather scent that smells more unique than this, I'd like to smell it. A no brainer when you weigh the checks and balances of quality vs. price point.

First off let me just say I really like Lalique, they always seem to give me interesting scents that reflect nothing else in my collection. White is no different, I think I paid 28 bucks or something and for me this is worth every penny. To me this could easily go for 50-70 dollars for it's quality. Humans are funny beings, we under value things that are low priced and tend to overvalue things that are high priced. Stick this in a bottle that has "niche" written on it, charge 150 dollars and watch the snobs start singing it praises, and write poems about it. Is this the best thing I've ever smelled?No, but it does just what it needs to do; fit an occasion, do it in a unique way and last at least average on the skin. Checks all those boxes for under 30 dollars for 125 ml. Does it smell like galloway? I have no idea, never smelled it nor do I care to honestly. Ok rant off. Now to the review: If I were to summarize this scent it would be white ivory soap in cologne form, now that might be off putting to some, but as someone that grew up in the 80's that loved that soap (and used it in my household), it isn't off putting to me. It's extremely clean smelling, the citrus (and tea?) is dominant in the opening which lasts around 15-30 mins, but isn't too sharp. It then dries down to a slightly woody, slightly peppery musk. If I were to picture the color of white as a fragrance I would picture this creation, so the presentation and name match it very well. I really dig this and would wear it spring, summer, casual and during the day.

I have to say, I’m a big fan of Lalique in general, and I have many of their fragrances in my collection, starting with Encre Noir and all its flankers, which are amazing woody, vetiver scents at a great value. Despite not being a new release, Lalique White is a new discovery for me, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it is. It’s not often talked about by fragrance influencers, even those who usually praise Lalique fragrances. In my opinion, this is a gorgeous everyday scent. It’s fresh, yet somehow intriguing thanks to its subtle musky undertones. It smells high-quality and natural, especially compared to many other fresh fragrances on the market that can feel a bit synthetic or cloying in their attempt to be long-lasting. Lalique White isn’t a powerhouse in terms of longevity, but it stays with you for a good number of hours while remaining smooth, natural, and very pleasant to wear. As a side note, I love partner dancing, and selecting fragrances for these occasions is important: we’re moving, we’re warm, and we’re close to someone, so I want something fresh, pleasant, and never cloying. Lalique White works perfectly in this context and will definitely be included in my rotation for social dancing.

Lalique White is a delicate, light, airy, well balanced scent. To me it gives a strong impression of dry pencil shavings, with a slightly soapy, clean, and white pepper edge. It has creamy, peppery, powdery, and woody facets, that are light, and almost refreshing, but not in a typical freshie way. The cedar comes through in a dry, clean way, with a creamy warmth. Quite a unique fragrance, and one to be smelled to appreciate. Great for wearing with a clean shirt, and office safe too. But also not too formal to wear around the home or out and about in the day at weekends. This isn't really an evening, date, or winter fragrance. Longevity isn't extensive, so you may have to reapply throughout the day, but you should get a few hours out of it, although your mileage may vary. However it's worth reapplying, as it's a beautiful and well balanced fragrance. Another gem from Lalique and an absolute bargain at current prices.

9/28/23 EDIT - This is really growing on me. Smells great on my skin & performs pretty well with 3-4 sprays. I think my first reaction was made after spraying fabric which I really don't like the strong ambroxan finish. On my skin the musk & violet blend nicely with the ambroxan in the dry down after a green citrus pepper-wood start. Very highly recommend for the price, I've done a 180 on this. [Original review] Opens strong sweet & sour, pleasant close sitting woody peppery floral mid. Drydown comes quickly & feels like just cheap ambroxan. Ok off skin, but please don't spray clothes to boost performance. Sephora men's fragrance section. Not for me even at $25 for a big ass tester. Probably smells great & same-ey to the non-frag normies but I've been tainted by too much cheap ambroxan & a close second is a musk that the middle eastern clone houses use. Part of a 2 for 2 cheapie blind buy fail

The bottle arrived packaged ok, cellophane sealed properly. I could hear rattling - I expected broken glass. Inside, the bottle was intact, but the metal plate that sits on top of the bottle was loose, and it rattled around the bottle top. The spray mechanism was at a slight angle - not sitting properly on the bottle. The bottle and packaging looked authentic. I gave myself a few shots on the arm. The spray mechanism worked, and there was an initial citrus blast, and a bit of wood later on the dry down. But rapidly, this scent just disappeared off of me. And I couldn't tell I had perfume on within the hour. I have loved every Lalique fragrance that I have bought, to date, so I guess I should not be disappointed. I also should perhaps give White another chance, and buy from another supplier after I have returned this one (to the ebayer I bought from).

Recently purchased a second bottle of this after emptying my first. I go through times when I think it's a bit boring, but always end up coming back around. For me, it's the dumb reach of all dumb reach fragrances for the warm seasons. What does it smell like? Think of a neroli cologne like 4711 (lemon leaf, right, whatever) and add bitter herbs, a bit of nutmeg, and a bracing, fresh, airy character reminiscent of a cool breeze. This sits on a base of sweet musk and transparent cedar. If I smelled it on someone else I would think it was expensive soap or laundry detergent. Longevity is excellent if you over spray (by which I mean 7-10 sprays), but the opening turns a bit funky if you do. Think permanent marker, or even a bit of barnyard stink. But the weirdness isn't too bad and goes away pretty fast.

I have owned this for a while and haven't worn it much because it is quite "safe." Consequently, it has been rarely one I reach for when I want to smell noticeably good. That has completely changed. As the winter in Virginia gives way to Spring, I have been reaching for less potent (oudy, sweet, etc.) fragrances and have been trying out my cleaner-smelling fragrances. I wore this four days this week, and I have never gotten compliments like this. It is simultaneously woody and clean, but it gets a tad sweeter/spicier in the base. I can use 6 sprays and it is not overbearing but lasts me most of the day. It has garnered positive comments from my teenage daughters and their friends, middle-aged female co-workers, and guys I hang out with. It turns out that smelling clean and subtle is not boring.

I love this fragrance. This summer I decided on a theme for my weekly work fragrance line up and theme was "white" white in the name or bottle to signify pure, clean, fresh. La Coste Blanc, Mugler Amen Pure Shot and Lalique White were my favorites that I acquired. Lalique White smells unique to me and I get a slight medicinal vibe that reminds me of my uncle's house which was nostalgic as he never got with the times everything was 1950's and 60's ish. I think this reminds me of the first time I smelled the original flavored Listerine at his house. Like I said before I only need a scent to last me 5 hrs at least for work purposes and this is sufficient besides I always spray my shirt which extends the life of the scent.

I love this fragrance. When I first time smelled it straight from the bottle, it was very stingy and I hated it. But the smell settled down fast and I like the drydown scent very much. Although the "pencil shavings" description isnt too far - you can really smell it that way, if you want to. The fragrance is quite inoffensive, something I'd label between day/night, you can use it as either one. I've personally reserved it more for nights and special occations. I usually spray fragrance with 5 sprays: One spray on both collarbones below cloth One spray behind both ears One spray behind my neck Sillage with these sprays is average: About an arm length. Longevity is ok too, 5-6 hours on my skin.

What a lovely fragrance. Lalique White is a rare gem that is a great example of a "warm" warm weather scent. Unlike a typical aquatic or fresh citrus scent, this one combines spicy note (with pepper being the most prominent), the fruity/earthy tamarind, cedar, and the interesting lemon leaf for a unique take on freshness. It doesn't really smell like a "men's cologne" with a noxious attempt at sexiness. Lalique White simply offers an intentional understatement of casual classiness, wearable in almost any occasion. One could easily build a wardrobe exclusively of Lalique fragrances and have all your situational/seasonal needs covered extremely well for a comparatively small amount of cash.

A very refined and elegant fragrance that is perfect for summer! I live in a hot and humid country, so I’m always looking for a fragrance that can keep me fresh and cool. Lalique White is one of my favorites for this purpose. It has a citrusy and spicy scent that is refreshing and invigorating. It is not too heavy or sweet, but rather light and crisp. It lasts well on my skin and doesn’t turn sour or cloying in the heat. It is also very affordable, which is a plus for me. The bottle looks classy and elegant, and it fits well in my collection. I think Lalique White is a great fragrance for summer, and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes fresh and spicy scents.

Beautiful fragrance let down by criminally poor performance. Disclaimer: I got a sample of this from Lalique after contacting them via e-mail (apparently they'll send you samples if you ask!) but it took at least two months, so god only knows how long mine was sitting out in the sun. It could have just gone bad. But it has very, very little staying power. My deodorant is stronger. As for the fragrance itself, it opens with a burst of bergamot and lemon leaf, with the pepper and nutmeg coming into play soon after. It's a really beautiful scent profile, fresh and clean without coming across soapy and synthetic in the slightest. It's a "mature" freshness.

WOW, Amazing fragrance, Fresh, Bright, Clean, Elegant and Unique. I am a big fan of the house of Lalique. The name of White is a symbol like Man's White shirt. This is a great fragrance from Lalique and Christine Nagel, It has high quality composition and well-blended. You can't go wrong with it. It opens up with like fresh citrusy and slightly spicy then dry down is musky woody. The White Pepper and The Lemon Leaf notes are dominant in this perfume. It is suitable for the spring and summer, l really enjoy it and I love Lalique White EDT for Men. I'm so happy that I have it in my collection, Highly Recommended. Two Thumbs Up. Rating : 8.5 / 10

I first purchased this while waiting on a flight in Paris in 2014. I was walking around and happened across the Lalique boutique. I wasn't particularly looking for anything, but when I got a whiff of this, I had to purchase it. It's one of those fragrances that is soft, but powerful. It caught my attention and made me want more of it. I paid an outrageous price for this in Paris. I am amazed (and happy) that I can find it in the US for a much lower price. Even though this is marketed as a men's fragrance, I wear it with a lemon body spritz and/or body lotion and it makes is a beautiful, feminine spring/summer scent.

I love it! This is for those (or people around) the: "aaah!!! your 20 sprays of Amouage give me a headache" Very clean, very soft... is basically the softest fragrance I have in my small collection and one of the safest frags I have encountered over the years. New batches, might be just my nose, are weak?! I barely detect anything after 1 hr or so... Still, a clean, soapy(ish), summer vibe, happy and modest fragrance. Wish it lasted longer somehow. Reminds me of Armani White He... back in the days, safest school frag.

Lalique White, this is a rich high quality and lovely perfume, it smells clasique, but much better, I can smell the lemon leaf and bergamot so concentrated, this is perfect for summer day's or a sensual night... Is like a modern way to smell a citric powdary perfume, cant really expalin it, and that JUST MAKE IT BETTER. I buy a bottle two days ago, "125.ml(4.2,Oz)" and there was one more in the store, so I went back this morning and buy it out. 10/10 for scent <3 10/10 for sillage <3 10/10 for longevity <3

Lemon, then pepper, into wood. Opens bright and strong, not zesty or spicy. Reminds of Tom Ford's Grey Vetiver, but on steroids. Drydown like Guerlain's Vetiver though side by side the Guerlain is earthier. I experience the pencil shavings but dont let that put you off, this is creamy rather than a dry, peppery cedar. To sum up, this is really good ('masculine, white linen shirt'), versatile, with decent performance. I paid £20 for 75ml, that's fantastic value. 4/5

I love almost all Lalique men's offerings and this is no exception. Opens with citrus and pepper, and dries down to a beautiful light citrus musk. PDM Galloway is close on the dry down, but I find White's opening to be much more memorable. If it could keep that opening longer, it'd perhaps be a top 10 all time scent for me. I've tried layering with Galloway but Galloway swallows up the opening. I hope some extrait clone house dupes this, cuz I'd be there for it!

Got this scent for my boyfriend, he loves the scent in the bottle and on his clothes but on his skin it turns a bit funky during the day. But I adore it so much that I am wearing it myself in summer and spring time... I'm a huge vetiver/lemon/citrus scent lover and it reminds me of the vetiver perfumes and colognes I got in France as a teenager, wet fresh lemon trees in summer, it has a tiny bit of sweetness to it, so imo it's an amazing unisex scent.

A perfect example of a ‘grower’. Initially I was underwhelmed by White’s performance, and wasn’t sure there was much to ‘see’ here. But after persisting, and experimenting with application (to say I apply quite liberally is an understatement), my nose is attuned, and now I get it. Bags of summer citrus fruit, deep creamy leaf scents (including tea), and plenty of warm woody character. And something savoury and floral too. Masculine and beautiful.

Beautiful musky white pepper cardamom and wood. I prefer it in high heat. Have never gotten a compliment on it though. My friend said it reminded him of a dentists office. It is similar to PDM Galloway but far from a replacement. Galloway is much sweeter and more calming. I bought this because I liked Galloway so take it from me when I say that if you like Galloway, you should buy Galloway. I have however come to like this scent very much though.

Spring is coming so I bought an old friend that I met years ago. Our friendship hasn't changed. This is a perfect spring/summer fragrance to me: a touch of lemon, some pepper and wood. An fantastic combination in the hands of Lalique. Sillage and longevity are moderate, however, at this price point this is nothing to complain about. Simply great value for money. Safe blind buy if you are into spicy citrus summer scents. 9/10

I can feel the listed notes but, even better, I can feel being in a forest after a light rain in a sunny summer morning. The scent has a vivid quality to it, it's easily recognizable and consistently put me in an excellent mood. Performance is decent and it's dirty cheap at discounters. The more fragrances I try, the more I appreciate happy-go-lucky Lalique White.

Clearly Christine Nagel is someone who knows what they're doing. This is excellent on its own, and excellent for layering too, and has this aura of refinement about it. I have complained before about perfumes being marketed 'for women', so same goes for this one: why 'for men'? Makes you think, if Lalique can achieve this result for this price then...

One of the most intriguing fragrance I've ever smelled. The tamarind here is so carefully dosed that instead of getting a sour soup explosion, you get creamy, therapeutic sophisticated scent. Something about this, whenever I smell it, I can't help but to think of an expensive white robe. This is unique and I don't think most folks will appreciate it.

I love this scent and while longevity was never on the longer side of things, now that I'm halfway through my bottle it is a skin scent in 30 minutes. Even when applying 4-5 sprays in one spot. My girlfriend loves it on me as well and says she can't detect it within the hour. Wish it could last a bit longer.. Very safe scent for every occasion.

Absolute bargain for 30$/125ml bottle. Fresh, calming scent. I put it every time after shower. This is what calmness should feel like. Opening is amazing, although I get more of green vibes out of it. Not getting a lot of projection nor longevity, maybe 5 hrs. Still it is 8/10, definately recommend for chill and unformal situations.

Absolutely lovely scent, the fresh lemony vanilla is to die for. But it has a different feel from Chanel Allure Edition Blanche, it's a bit fresher and green. But it has a big weakness in performance. Oh well, considering how cheap it is it's reasonable to use a lot and put it in a smaller bottle and carry it around.

Truly beautiful. Reminds me somewhat of a citrus leaning fougere. Very clean, citrusy and somewhat creamy. There is no Tonka beans in here, maybe it is the amber and oakmoss that give the creaminess. Will definitely continue adding this to my collection.

This one is Beast mode on me, even on one of my friends, it fills the room, real heavy radiation, so i`m sad to hear that others, don`t get the same performance, maybe the Danish climate does the difference for me. This one is in my Top 10, just love it.

For me its the most unique cologne i've ever used. Citrus notes is really strong at the opening followed by spicy white pepper. Very safe for blind buy, go take it for a cheap price you will get an unique smell. Overall 8 / 10

The name does justice to this fragrance! Beautiful clean crisp scent, not offensive, not too much projection, a great spring and summer choice. It lasts around 6 hours on my skin. I Love it, and the price is ridiculous!

A wonderful summer smell. You can feel the lemon leaves directly. The cedar tree has added a very beautiful forest atmosphere. I really like this smell. Persistence is great. A long fragrance that lasts for 20 hours.

No one to mention the seductive tamarind, perhaps the main secret of this lullaby scent. Oversleep once on his pillow, best breakfast ever is what Lalique White will serve you when you wake up.

Fresh but different. My first impression was just wow. It could easily be your signature scent. This is my second Lalique fragrance. First one is of course encre noire.

Like if Reflection Man and L'eau D'issey had a baby. A casual, yet mature and classic feeling scent. As always, Lalique is punching above their weight class.

Answer to Luxfare: It's similar to Givenchy Gentleman Cologne, but not an exact likeness. LW is woodier than GG.

truthfully this fragrance has a kind of brofumisti kinda aura about it. A cursory search of youtube reviews reveals it has many brotacular fans. But it's a nice change of pace for me actually (one can only wear so many enormous symphonic florals and power chypres) and heaven knows I have a weakness for mainstream perfumery that I'm not in the least bit ashamed of. Interestly (at least to me) this fragrance reminds me very strongly of the formula of Emporio Armani White Pour Homme. Which was once a signature scent of mine...a long long time ago. It isn't lemony as some reviewers seem to think it is. At least not to my nose. And perhaps the formula has been changed post regulations. What I smell is potent Elemi, and Sclariol (adding the indeterminate citrus feel) and Sage. Sage has an intensely grassy, dry, citric and astringent aroma with a scratchy sort of feel to it which here is tempered by Elemi's sharp and juicy quality and by the glitter and shimmer and tang of Sclariol. This I suppose is what people might refer to as "lemon leaf". The dry down passes through a mild nutmeg phase, which reminds me of classic men's summer fragrances from outfits such as Polo Ralph Lauren. Further in there's a lot of musk, a musk (in this formula at least- I can't speak to older versions) I think I smell in a very large number of citrus fragrances which anchors the composition on the skin and (in tandem with the Sclariol) adds radiance. And radiance here is a factor, the Sillage is actually fairly significant, on me at least. There's something salty here too. It's not the Oakmoss the official notes claim, but perhaps some kind of synth, and maybe just maybe there's even some ISO masquerading as cedar... All of which bring to mind Emporio Armani White PH- citrus (synth lemon) soft (almost imperceptible) spice, laundry musk- fresh and subtle, clean and slightly sexy with it, like a chap who's just had a shower and slipped on a crisply ironed clean white shirt. I sound almost snooty about this formula. I don't mean to be. I in fact very much enjoy wearing this, it has a soft, casual masculine feel that I rarely wear and so it will definitely fill a gap. It's utterly synthetic (and all the better for it given how the naturals it would take to make this formula are either completely fleeting or unbearably strong) and it has a charm. For those occasions when you want to smell clean in a manly kinda way and can't be bothered to wear anything too challenging. And for the price it's a bargain. I imagine this is the kind of fragrance I would get a lot of compliments on from a certain type of guy. Actually my hairdresser complimented me on it...and he's cute so... Jesus I'm turning into a BRO I DONT CARE ABOUT COMPLIMENTS!

"Hey there whitey you best get out of here before you are better persuaded." Throughout my life i find myself in places ... that let's say most people who share my epidermal tonality aren't very comfortable in. I also find that some people of my opposite tonality don't seem all to comfortable with it either - until they get to know me. I'm a gray, gruff, stubbly, long and lanky sort of dolt. Because of my appearance - I've always been the kind of guy who knows that looks are deceiving and i have often found that a plain, boring book cover can hide brilliant plot twists that are lost to many who only care to read the back cover before feeling they know where it's going and put it down. First impressions for me are useless and i've always made it a point to think like Lars-Goren Berquist before i act like King Gustav, but all that aside my point somehow gets this long diatribe to how looks rarely have anything to do with what is hidden underneath. And it holds so true for Lalique White. This stuff is a one line jagged edged novel packed with some of the freshest, sharpest, palest, pepperly abrasive words you'll find in today's diction. This thing is all about that first spray and what it does is so powerful - everything afterwards is just plain needed for recovery. It's as if you are introduced to all the main characters at onec- instantly - and the rest of the novel concentrates on introducing you to their roles and import. The first spray is an epic Haiku on citrus arrow darts to the nostrils which are accompanied by a sandpapering black pepper burst that almost knocks you over. Its quick! AND IT IS FANTASTIC! The beautiful woody tone resonates like the even hummmm one feels after a good deserving slap to the face. This fragrance manages to make my ears ring. Everything about this fragrance shouts energy. It exerts everything it's got within a couple of seconds - and the rest is just a beautiful monotoned sleepy daze. This stuff is the vitamin B-12 injection of fragrances. It's powerful and sharp and bright and rough. It's the young man imagining how he'd perform with the neighbor's hot wife. Don't let the elegant, smooth, evenly defined, sterile white & chrome bottle deceive you into thinking you are about to spray something subtle, clear and powdery ... because if that's what you think - boy'o you're in for a BIG surprise! AND i envy you!

The best I can sum up Lalique White? Spicy pencil shavings citrus cologne for spring weather. This has grown on me over the past year - at the beginning I was a bit put off by the tamarind note which is a bit sour, certainly made more spicy by a generous dose of pepper, that comes up immediately, and some very slightly pungent facets of nutmeg/cardamom that give the accord a little bit of background fuzziness and some light greenness tinge. I initially found this aspect at odd with the very likeable bitter and dry citrus profile of what seemed to be a delicate cologne opening. After mere minutes, (in)famous pencil shavings (i.e. cedar) comes up in full force, and cedar+pepper+citrus dominates the arena through the scent's life which is, unfortunately, rather short. But it's an elegant, sofisticated "short" (four hours, maybe?). It won't project much around you either, it is an EdT with a cologne energy, but given the low price point (incredible for the quality of the juice, honestly), you can overspray and reapply as needed. Like all Lalique creations, it took me a while to appreciate it, but with some overspraying I now enjoy wearing it in spring weather (especially on rainy days). I find this one more button down than t-shirt, and thus not fully working (for me) on scorching summer days unless you are in the office or enjoying air conditioning; similarly apt for early autumn days up to the time you start wearing your light fleece jacket. This is a clean, professional smelling fragrance, that makes a statement about understatement. The minimalistic, clean solid-white bottle design is certainly beautiful though the plastic collar tends to move and the cap squeaks, and both looks really cheap (why, Lalique, why!?). یه خونه با در و پنجره‌های چوبی، نسیم دلپزیری می‌وزه، لباسا و ملافه‌های سفید روی بند رخت آویزونن و نسیم از میانشون می‌گذره و به رقص در میاردشون، تپه‌های پشت خونه همه جا رو سبز پوش کردن، تو یه گوشه‌ای دسته‌های فلفل نخ شده به یه ستون چوبی آویزونه، نسیم که می‌گذره فلفلایی که خشک شدن با برگ و شاخه‌ها به صدا می‌افتن، بوی دونه‌ی هل توی چایتون رو نسیمی که دسته فلفلای نخ شده رو به صدا در آورده و رسیده به بخار روی لیوان به سمتتون میاره ازتون می‌گذره و تو وزش بعدی دوباره بوی هل و فلفل هوای کنارتون رو در آغوش می‌گیره . سفید واقعا رنگ رایحه این عطره، از همون لحظه اول رایحه فرش و جذاب فلفل در کنار ترنج و برگ ترنج یه فضای فرش و سیتروسی با ته بوی گذرای ترش تمبر هندی تاپ نت جذابی رو براتون می‌سازه که به فاصله ده دقیقه رایحه ترش از بین می‌ره و گرمای دلپذیر فلفل تو یه بستر سبز کنار رایحه گلی ضعیف و شیرینی کم با حالت پودری (آکورد پودری این عطر اونقدر قوی نیست که اگه از عطرای پودری خوشتون نیاد بخواین بی‌خیال این رایحه جذاب بشین)و تمیز همراهیتون می‌کنه، فلفل فرش بیشتر طول عمر این رایحه رو همراهیتون می‌کنه و آروم آروم فضای آروماتیک وسبزش غالب‌تر می‌شه. این عطر جذاب به نظرم قربانی پخش و ماندگاری پایینش شده، از نظر من این عطر با این قیمت بی‌رقیبه و نمی‌تونین تو عطرای هم رده‌ش و حتا بالاتر مشابهی براش پیدا کنین، تاپ نت مارلی گالووی شبیه‌ترین رایحه به این عطره البته من مارلی رو یک بار بیشتر تست نکردم و قضاوتم در مورد این دو عطر قضاوت ناقصیه، در صورت فول‌ور کردن یا همراه داشتن دکانت از عطرتون مشکل موندگاری به راحتی حل می‌شه، این کار به شدت کار جذاب و ارزشمندیه، اگرمثل من لیست خرید عطراتون طولانی نیست و چندتا کار تابستونی دارین و یه کار به صرفه و متفاوت و باکیفیت دیگه می‌خواین داشته باشین این عطر رو در اولویت خریدتون بذارین و گول موندگاری بیشتر عطرایی با دو سه برابر قیمت این کار رو نخورین خیلی از اون عطرای هایپ حتا ۵۰ درصد کیفیت و لذت این عطر رو بهتون نمی‌دن.

This one needs to be experienced to be appreciated: it's unlike anything in my collection, and I love it! I recently acquired a 4.2oz bottle of vintage 2016 juice in a trade. This starts out with heavy pepper and citrus and an odd tart sweetness (I'm assuming this is an accord created by the interaction of Lemon leaf mixing tamarind note because that's what it smells like), as it dries down, that sweetness evaporates and leaves a fresh citrus, hints of pepper, cedar and clean musk smell. It almost reminds me of a masculine version of Glossier You. I can't comment on the performance of modern batches, but mine lasts a very long time compared to what some reviewers are experiencing ( I'm getting 6+ hours on skin). It stays relatively close to the skin for most of its duration, but I can definitely smell it for hours and people close by will be able to detect it as well. This is a great scent for those that want to smell clean and interesting without being too loud or clamoring for attention. It smells fantastic! I worked my way through most of a decant of Galloway before gifting it to a friend, and while I do see some parallels (and I do absolutely believe PDM took inspiration from White) they are not the same scent by any means. This will be in rotation this spring and summer and I will update with a full review soon.
