Beautiful clean-girl floral. If you're going to smell like you just scrubbed yourself clean in the shower, make sure the soap smell is a beautiful, well-balanced, aldehyde-propelled amber floral, as this one is: a classic Grojsman creation. I loved it at first spray--including the elegant and old-fashioned-looking bottle--and I can hardly believe Lalique sells for so little online--you can often pick up a new 100-ml (3.3 ounces) bottle for about $35 at one of the online discount sites. But even at its standard price (it was around $87 for the same size bottle on Amazon), this is a good deal. I would put this up against several more expensive amber florals in my collection, and I especially recommend it to the Grojsman fans out there. Update: I put this on last night after showering, before bed, and then refreshed it this morning, even though I could still smell it a bit, especially on fabric; my husband likes it a lot and said so more enthusiastically than he has rated almost all the other perfumes I have worn recently. I notice a real honeyed effect, like real honey, not just syrupy fruit or flowers. I don't see either listed in the notes or in the description (which is clearly wrong and meant for a different Lalique perfume). I saw that someone recommended this as a dupe for Chanel Beige, and it does indeed have a very similar profile: honeyed white flowers, soft woods, mild spice/wood notes. I could see both perfumes working well in office environments or anywhere else you want to smell clean, sweet, and pleasant. Even though it was created in 1992, it doesn't smell any more dated to me than Beige or J'Adore does, and you simply can't beat the price. I figured out that I paid about $10 an ounce for this bottle, which would probably last me a long time even if I didn't already have so many other fragrances.

Perhaps it is too early in the day for a review, but having received my bottle yesterday I can hardly wait to describe what I am enjoying! First off, I am a lover of all things Sophia Grojsman. Her creations emanate Feminine and Pretty and sometimes (as in Estee Lauder!) BEAUTIFUL. But, alas, not all work for me. My skin rejects the aroma chemical calone, used to simulate lily, waterlily, melon, etc. So I wondered if the lily here would be an issue? No. An ecstatic, joyful NO! Simply lovely in every way. As far as Sophia's work goes, this is about as subtle, charming, and elegant as they come. Refined, even. I only wish the sillage and longevity were greater, but it's an excellent scent nonetheless. Wearing three sprays on fabric radically increased the aroma and gave me an intimate scent cloud for hours. On my skin, it should be noted, this is a different scent than on fabric, so be sure to test both ways. On skin, it might smell like a soft cousin of Vanderbilt and on fabric like a quiet daughter of Amarige. To be fair, on me soapy scents are tame affairs, rarely offensive or hard hitting. The soap aspect is only brief here, followed by a soft white floral in the same general family as 5th Avenue, only less green and sour. It goes in a different direction with the florals and is what I always WISHED 5th Avenue was. Dry down is gently sweet with a well blended and charming fruit note and also powder. There is a hint of tuberose (Amarige) gorgeousness - without the headache! Wood and vanilla round out everything to perfection. To sum up: If you have a desire for a truly elegant white floral, look no further. With bolder sillage I would give this work of art 5 stars. Still, the BEST new-to-me floral I've smelled in ages! :D

This was a blind buy and I love it. It’s early days because I just received my package early this morning and I have won it for the whole day. It was a love at first whiff for sure. I get the florals and a bit of spice. I am not picking out any particular fruits at the moment but I am sure I will update my comment after a month goes by. For now, I will say that I am gravitating more towards the older scents than the new creations on the market now. There is something classy and elegant about these older creations that makes you feel confident and unique. I know for sure I won’t be smelling like 90% of the other women in an event because they will be wearing something sweet and common 😂😂😂😂. This is my first time trying a Lalique fragrance and it is a 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me and I can’t wait to try another scent from this brand. Update: 8 months after blind buying it and I can say it is still a ✨✨✨✨✨ for me. It has great sillage and longevity which is an added plus. I don’t over think where to wear this to. It’s just that lovely, feminine and pretty. It’s works beautifully for any daytime event and for nighttime, I just wear 2 spritz instead of my usual 5 and pair it with something with heavier notes that needs a lift like Jasmin Noire by Bvglari and it’s a winner all the way.

I finally got around to picking up a bottle, and Lalique yet again proves to me what a consistent and outstanding house they are. While they generally stick to "safe" and crowd pleasing scents, they still stand out amongst the pack in terms of how beautiful their fragrances are, their quality, and of course their beautiful bottles. I have yet to experience a Lalique that I didn't like. Upon first spray, I did get get the DNA of a 90's era fragrance, however rather than it being dated, it still comes off contemporary and would not stick out like a sore thumb amongst modern perfumes. It's not akin to 90's floral power houses, rather it is a calming sweet effervescent floral that dries down to a lovely powdery musk. The pear, black current and vanilla likely is what keeps this feeling timeless as many current perfumes use these notes. It adds a levity and sweetness, and is probably the closest thing to a gourmand you'll get from the early 90's. This makes a perfect spring time fragrance where the warmth will help the florals bloom, but a little chill brings out the fruits and sweetness. 3 good sprays to my inner elbow and I got a generous sillage. Longevity is moderate, with approx 4 hours before it becomes a musky skin scent.

I honestly can't begin to decipher what I smell here and I've never even tried to because I have always felt that this embodies summer time, summer holidays. Evenings out, abroad. I don't know where this idea comes from. Perhaps I smelled something similar, possibly even this exact scent, on a woman while I was holidaying at some point in my childhood. Maybe. I'm not calling it, say, maternal, but it smells quite motherly to me. Not saying it's for a particular age range, but I feel that a content and confident woman/mother who's enjoying an evening out with her family/SO while on holiday fits this scent wonderfully. A similar scent is Amber Elixir by Oriflame, but that's more on the almondy, resinous side, while this does pull more floral, with a fruity element serving to highlight the flowers. Based on a look at the notes, I will say that I do smell iris, jasmine, rose, blackberry, cassis, sandalwood, vanilla. I haven't come across many scents like this in my life, so I think there's something really special about this one. Magical, even.

I'm not sure why Fragrantica's note breakdown is so incomplete, since the complete description from the website is appended in much smaller type right below it. I definitely smell more of the notes listed in the official brand description and would consider that a fuller, more accurate profile of this underrated fragrance. On my skin Lalique de Lalique is honeyed currant over jasmine and sandalwood. It also features ylang-ylang rather prominently. I find it less boring than Chanel Beige or Dior J'Adore but in the same olfactory ballpark. It also reminds me a bit of Guerlain Champs-Elysees, although that one is more lilac (or buddleia) oriented, as well as Estee Lauder Beautiful. For my money, Lalique and Boucheron both offer some of the best fragrances, in the best bottles, on the gray-market discount websites. Last I checked a 100-ml bottle of this radiant floral baby was only about $30. And it's so potent that a few sprays will be more than enough to last you all day and into the night.

Damn you Fragrantica heads are hard to please! I just got this, so first impressions. Firstly, I paid under 24€ for 100ml - I think that is incredible. So I can't complain if it doesn't last very long (although it's holding up after 5 hours.) Not sure about the projection, but I'm still enjoying a nice little scent bubble. It opens flowery and a little fruity - very nice; plenty of jasmine at the top, mostly pear and cassis at the heart - I love an aromatic, slightly earthy green leaf. The dry down is a bit too musky for me at first, but then settles into a beachy sort of sandalwood - warm and sunny. It reminds me of Jil Sander's Sun (created 2 or 3 years before) a bit. A solid every day scent I will be using for sure. Why spend 100s of euros to be a fashion victim, and reject a perfectly good scent that is well crafted, in a delightful bottle and is eminently wearable?

This is a fairytale of a fragrance and in no way boring or generic as some comments claim. First off, it is not offensively synthetic and that is already an advantage over 90% of fragrances out there. Secondly, it is beautifully composed the fruit and flowers combine so well - just compare this with the sickly synthetic berries of Lancome's Midnight Rose... And here is the best - this is one of the few fragrances that take you on a journey....to a beautiful forest in Autumn, the warmth of vanilla sandalwood and musk caresses you like golden sunlight, the fresh breeze carries the memory of an abundance of summery flowers and all around are berries to pick. If Galadriel wore a perfume THAT woould be it. The beautifully melancholic and etherially elegant charm of the Elves...lightened by the joy of reminiscences. Lalique is my favourite to walk from summer into autumn!

There was another reviewer here on fragrantica who says that the more she learned about perfumes and the more she smelled the less she could agree with Luca Turin..and I must say, it is my opinion too.. Lalique is a classic feminine light oriental floral which develops in a lot of layers in the passing hours. In my nose it s a masterpiece but you must like it s basic ingredients oakmoss, cedar, sandalwood, vanilla and the lovely peony plus ylang ylang.And the drydown is so silky soft fairytale-like.. I m in awe and wonder..but I can understand that if one is for big floral orientals such as Shalimar and co than it s probably not for you..there s nothing sharp or hissy to this fragrance. I cannot understand why LT does not see it a masterpiece even if he does not like it.. So: elegant, styleful, feminine and meek women, take a chance at that one!

Love this! Today is my fourth time wearing it - at first I was a little neutral on it but by the 4th wear, I love it. It's elegant, feminine, classy, and very easy to wear. Suitable and versatile for so many occasions. If I were still working in an office, it would be perfect for that but it's lovely at home and in my studio too. My husband rarely notices my fragrances but this one he has noticed twice and likes it. Love the bottle too, the classic, early-20th century aesthetic is pretty and unique in my collection. I have the larger size and it doesn't fit my hand (average size) all that well, especially my non-dominant hand - the atomizer is a little hard to get but I really don't mind. This is a really nice, elevated fragrance for the price! Definitely a keeper and one of the reasons I love Lalique.

This was one of my mother perfumes which i loved as a child. when i grew up after graduating from university, i found this perfume again and bought it instantly. i can say that i appreciated even more as an adult. its very feminine and classy, smart and confident. but as of most 90's perfumes its strong, little goes a long way. in my culture we use Oud oil. i found that a dap of oud oil, then spraying this perfume makes it stands even out more. i used this method for parties and wedding and everyone ask what i am wearing. unfortunately, i cant find this perfume in shops here anymore. its so rare. i thought it was discontinued but after reading reviews here i found out its still available. maybe i should try my luck online cuz i really miss it.

I bought a tiny vintage miniature of this iconic fragrance and fell in love, though the EDT had very little longevity. I then bought a new bottle of the EDP only to find that the depth and beauty of the vintage EDT was entirely absent! I have since purchased a 75ml splash bottle of the vintage EDT, though I know I will be splashing it all day long! That syrupy concoction gilded with spice is more my style and frankly, it's a heartbreak in itself to know yet another classic luxury fragrance has suffered at the hands of a burgeoning beauty industry; which sees the greats of classic perfume morphing into sad shadows of their former self! Like all Lalique, it is all worth it for the bottle! And I percieve more Lalique bottles in my near future!

Charming soapy floral. I very seldom fall in love with a scent these days, having smelled so many that they sometimes seem like sub-par copies of one another. This is such a delightful exception. If you love Estee Lauder Beautiful, and want to try a well blended floral heading in another direction, try this. If you loved Elizabeth Arden True Love but mourn its reformulation, try this. (They aren't at all identical - Lalique is more complex and has more 'soap' or aldehydes.) If you enjoy aldehydic scents and old-fashioned florals in general, try this. The price hardly does Lalique justice. To my nose she smells precisely as expensive as my beloved Beautiful! Need I say more? Five stars. <3

Quite stunning. Has the signature "hug me accord" you can expect from Grojsman. I would swear it's another peach from her until I saw the notes and now I can't unsmell it! Humans are so impressionable 😂 this is richer than a peach perfume, and VERY dynamic. The mid reminds me of Alien Sunessence! If you like Tresor, Diamonds & Rubies, Sun Moon Stars, etc. then you'll probably enjoy this, too. Maybe sample before buying a big bottle as this is not a safe blind buy. I'm glad I went for it, totally into this & think I'll only love it more as time passes. p.s. the notes above in the breakdown seem wrong/incomplete according to the description above it, which are more accurate.

Not very unique, but nevertheless beautiful, elegant fragrance. But considering the fact it came out in 1992, i wouldn't be surprised that it lost its originality due to other Houses trying to replicate its scent. On me it smells very similar to Allure Sensuelle. Also, despite some differences, I would put in the same category with So Pretty by Cartier, as they do share quite a few notes.I don't know about others, but i do get a lot of depth and complexity. The projection and lasting power are excellent as well. My final verdict: Lalique is a timeless classic for mature(by that i mean 25 and over), sophisticated ladies.

Received this yesterday and must admit I fell in love with it immediately. This was a blind purchase so only have a little 4ml bottle but WOW this is quite something! Don't really know how to describe it...it is sweet and powdery but not sickly sweet, more of a floral sweet, powdery but not like Chloe or a talcum powder, has pleasant citrusy/berry like fruitiness.....it's very very nice and somewhat unusual...can't really put my finger on it but it was love at first site and I will certainly be purchasing a full size including shower gel and a body creme.

My favorite perfume, a true timeless jewel that exudes pure elegance! Floral notes like a cloud of well-being surrounding you! I always have it and will never change it. For those who prefer "old school" perfumes, whose longevity, sillage and presence are very different from what is made today, LALIQUE by Lalique is a formidable purchase! Its invariability is also a typical characteristic of its author, the initial notes are the ones that always remain! In fact, like everything that comes from the hands of Mrs. Sophia Grojsman!

this opens with a sweet flower that reads like narcissus or mimosa which is the combo of the jasmine and fruit but this is not a fruity fragrance; it is a vintage floral aldehyde; it also is not soapy or powdery; you really get the sweet juicy white floral with no skanky or indolic quality, some white musk swirling about, a little undertone of or hint of vanilla just to warm the fragrance, and in the drydown tons of creamy sandalwood; beautiful

Black currant and blackberry, with a mixture of really special flowers in a oriental way... An exquisite dry down like a mystical incense -pretty good combination of the base notes-, a feminine cedar... This is Lalique for me. For mature women??? Could be... But Im young... and Im very happy about have it in my collection. Its a very beautiful, feminine, elegant fragrance; and it make feel so good, nicely confident.

This Lalique Beauty is like a tamed version of Amarige Givenchy. Luxurious, sparkling and soapy green floral. Splendidly composed. Jasmine, Black currant and Iris altogether play outstanding trio here. Indolic, warm and fresh at the same time, sweetly powdery, woody and yet refined. Sultry and sensual; powerful but never loud, rather skin scent. Aristocratic sophistication. Timeless beauty, indeed.

Sufisticate, fresh and elegant. This is rare piece of jewelry, and it not for trend setters. Lalique lalique is parfume for women with still, personality, poetic, romantic and elegant. Fragnence is wearible in all seasons, but best in spring and summer. IT'S so up lifting, makes me to feel like a queen. I bought 2 bottles. Than you Sofia Groysman, for this beautiful fragrance ❤️

I've just received my big bottle of Lalique EDP and I should admit that I absolutely love it. It is very elegant,feminine and soft. It is strong and sweet in a very nice way not cloying and sticky on the skin. The EDP version is lasting a good few hours on my skin.It feels like very comforting wearing this frag. Absolutely fabulous one...

Oh the lovely iris in this perfume! I applied Lalique this morning on this 79F day and it immediately gave me the most beautiful iris. Gorgeous, elegant and timeless. This reminds me of the first time I applied Tiffany (original) in the middle of winter. Very elegant and feminine perfume. Such a great value. Special occasion wear for me.

Blind bought this because first “also liked” was Poeme, which I adore. It is beautiful in the same way Poeme is, to me: soft, feminine, floral, well blended, but also delicious like honey. It doesn’t have honey as a note, but that’s what I smell. It’s probably not exciting enough for some people, but for me it’s comforting and romantic.

I only have a few floral scents, and this is one of them. It’s the old version. I like it so much that I just wear it for certain occasions. I love the way it makes me feel that I’m in the middle of a glorious garden on a sunny morning. I think it’s quite special and timeless. It’s for anyone of any age who appreciates it.

Lalique by Lalique has the classic elegance of florals with a modern fruity allure. Its delicate florals are a bit powdery and a bit musky, but the fruity blend here keeps it playful and refreshing. The base notes are warm, creamy and feminine. This to me is very much a pretty-in-pink fragrance.

I discovered this back in 1996. I have never been without it since then. Made for women, not girls.I could use this all the time but I don't because it is too precious for me. Although it's not expensive I don't want to waste it. So beautiful scent!!!

So pretty. Like all ofSophia Grojsman’s creations. So feminine and comforting. Timeless too. I hope this style makes a comeback. The florals with fuzzy fruits (liqueur type) and Sandalwood. This fragrance is like a warm hug.

I do not see the note of honey in the notes..I feel lots of honey here! For me it is a honey with a hint of cloves and sandal wood. Some flowers are mildly on the background.

I now love this one too!! YET another example of my changing taste, I seem to love more and more perfumes especially 'originals', meaning the 1st by a house!

Reminds me of Laura Biagiotti Venezia. Don't care about the notes looking different, my nose knows better 😉 I adore perfumes in this vein.

I reserve this perfume for the coldest days in winter. Warm, cozy and a bit spicy in the right weather. Too suffocating in warm weather.

Successful blind buy! This to me smells so fresh and clean, soft, feminine. I smell like fresh laundered clothes. I get no fruit smell.

Sweet fruity and slightly tart jasmine. A slight rose. Little to no spice, vanilla, or iris. Overall an acceptable unisex perfume.

when i write my reviews i dont like to read any of the previous reviews or the notes.. i feel that it hinders me from my expressing my original thoughts.. and it inhibits my natural flow of feelings and impressions of the perfume .. i first smelled this perfume when i was in Richmond college in London England in 1992.. i smelled it on a q8 senior mate in the dormitory ..at the time, i felt it was way to strong and that there will never come a time when i would actually ware it ..or think of buying it .. ten years 13 years latter i found myself wearing it when i am in no mood to layer and when i just want to impress older crowds.. lalique is a very clean.. sharp.. scent its very soapy.. it reminds me of lux soap.. and how it smelled.. as a child i still remember lux sopa smelling like this ..in a good way..i personally prefer the edt.. i find it fresher and less cloying ..i have the edt in my left wrist and the ed on my right.. i find the edp less sharp and more subtle the edt is louder.. sharper.. crispier.. cleaner.. both have a very loud yet sophisticated bouquet of flowers.. with an opening note of soapy.. cleanliness and amazing flowers.. Slovakian oaks moss and rose and blackberries and pears give that sweetness and peony gives that annoying wake up call.. and amazing nectarines like orange blossom and mandarin which make it so fresh yet warm and inviting ..the base consists of Indian sandalwood and amber and musk and vanilla.. which mellows everything on top and in the middle.. to me lalique is a classy master piece.. made to impress.. made for a classy confident mid age to mature women ..who want to smell clean and give strong vibes.. its not a feminine soft mellow seductive scent ..its harsh.. sharp.. and very strong.. in a confident way. .it will stay true all day.. very long lasting.. very true.. very clean.. very neutral.. and lenier .. in its own way.. it doesn't go the distance.. it stops at a certain limit.. there is no imagination.. nothing mysterious.. its all there in your face .. doesn't develop or change or alter.. i guess its one of those hard core perfumes that smell almost the same on everyone.. one sprites and you are ready to go........ confidently in to a meeting ..or the Oscars.. or win a noble prize.. and every one will know your presence..there is no way that you will be missed or lost in a crowd if you wear this.. and remember you forever more with that scent.. just like how i still remember that friend from college.. every time i smell this extraordinary master piece.. perfume ratting 4 .3out of 5 bottle ratting 4.5 out 5 comes in both edt and edp this review was about both bought from harrods london england long lasting both day and night perfume fall winter my personal liking rating 3.8 out of 5

My 3.4 oz edt of LALIQUE recently arrived, purchased scent unsmelled on the strength only of the designer's illustrious name: Sophia Grojsman. How could I go wrong, I thought, with the creator of BULGARI pour femme, JAIPUR saphir, TRESOR, ETERNITY, and, to my great surprise (yesterday's discovery...): WHITE LINEN. I was a bit taken aback to be wafted with strong redolences of TRESOR and TUSCANY per Donna upon my initial liberal spray of LALIQUE this morning. The main source of surprise was that I had found Grojsman's other creations to be each entirely unique, incomparable to anything else. Whether you like them or not, it's difficult to deny the unicity of BULGARI pour femme and JAIPUR SAPHIR and ETERNITY, certainly. (Those who abhor all floral aldehydes, would deny this claim vis-a-vis WHITE LINEN...) LALIQUE hit me immediately as a close sibling to TRESOR and TUSCANY, both of which I used many bottles of during about a two-year period now quite some time ago. LALIQUE, like her sisters, is a comfort fragrance, something to ensconce one's self in, like a warm blanket on a cold, frosty winter day with the wind blowing swirling snow outside. But here I am warm, blanketed in LALIQUE, and happy to be at home. The similarities don't diminish after the initial notes begin to fade, for these three perfumes have strongly overlapping oriental basenotes to which the various fruity-floral combinations attach, creating, for me, a very similar effect. Both sweet and flowery, LALIQUE is anchored in vanilla, amber, cedar, sandalwood and musk, which dominate here as in my strong memories of TRESOR and TUSCANY.

I am testing this today and what a trip. At first whiff from the nozzle, I got a whopper of an abrasive floral powder like White Diamonds, and almost walked away. But, I persisted, spritzed, and waved my arm through the cloud of juice. Almost immediately a bright floral? fruit? note cut through the powder that reminds me of Tiffany or Mackie or some such. Not as quite strong, but still cheerful and bold and 80s. Tiffany is what immediately came to mind. Then I found myself visualizing a night at the orchestra. Mature older retired women in their suits and jewelry dressed for an occasion. They likely spritzed up at the restroom after some heavy glasses of red wine and dinner before the show. Some women wear Youth Dew when they go the orchestra. Other women wear Lalique. Then suddenly without warning, the chorus from the Gloria of Handel's Messiah goes raging through my head "Blessing and Honour and Glory and Power be unto Him; be unto Him. For ever. And ever..." and over and over. The radiant hope of a Spring Palm Sunday is coursing through my senses. And with it, the finery of older women in pastel suits smiling after High Church in the Anglican or Catholic communities. This is some serious juice. Amen.

"I think my grandma wore that." Not what I was hoping to hear from my husband, but that's not the worst feedback to get. Lalique, the vintage version I recently bought, is very nice. It was a blind buy based on the reviews and my own curiosity. The components painted a lovely picture I wanted to experience. Despite never having smelled it, it felt very familiar. Something in the opening kept nudging a memory toward the front of my mind. Debbie Gibson's Electric Youth? It was from the same era, and has something in common with it, but it's not quite as in-your-face. Poeme? Maybe. It reminds me a bit of that, but with less heady floral notes. I still think there's a fragrance out there that's even closer to this. Or maybe it's reminding me of 1990's hair products, as other people have said, because I see why they're making the comparison. It's a very 1990's fragrance. "Maybe it was my oldest cousin's wife who wore that," said my husband, after thinking about it for a while. It's a scent very reminicent of the 1990's for anyone old enough to remember those years.

I love Lalique Lalique EdP and the EdT. But I dont understand why fragrantica classify them as Orientals - to me Lalique Lalique is a wonderful Fruity Floral scent. Not supersweet notes but a bit sweet notes from pear and blackberry who is very well mixed with rose, white flowers, vanilla and musk. Very elegant, sober and sophisticated. I feel like a real rich woman wearing this. Longlasting on my skin. A soft but yet intense scent that encircleing me. And a very beautiful bottle. Jag älskar Lalique Lalique, både EdP och EdT. Men jag förstår inte varför fragrantica har klassat den som Oriental, för mig är detta en fruktblommig doft. Inte supersöta doftnoter men aningens söta noter från Päron och Björnbär som är fint mixade med vita blommor,vanilj, ros och musk. Otroligt elegant, sober och sofistikerad. Känner mig som en rik kvinna när jag bär denna. Hållbar på huden. En mjuk men ändå intensiv doft som omringar mig länge. Och sist - en riktigt vacker flaska, tycker jag.

This pretty, feminine and elegant perfume reminds me of Mary Poppins. I can even imagine her wearing this. It's well-blended and not too sweet, not too floral, not too powdery. If it works well with your chemistry, it would be considered "practically perfect in every way". It's just a pity that it couldn't continue to be perfect with mine! I find it difficult to determine notes with this one. Lalique begins as a softly fresh fruity-floral that develops into something that's a little bit too clean and harsh on me; I'm wondering if this is could be the rose or the type of musk used here, or if there's a hidden note in there that doesn't agree with my chemistry. As my skin just continues to amplify this harshness as it dries down, I would recommend that you don't blind buy :) This perfume also gave me a slight headache. Soft sillage; lasts for about 3-4 hours.

Reviewing plastic cap version...should have been suspicious with that from the outset...Lalique...plastic? Anyhow, one smallish spray...Plutonium...blaaa...no no no more please...Run to tap and rinse entire arm....then..OMG after I rinse it is the NICEST MOST lovely thing ever...So maybe I will spray on before my shower and rinse away..I did not like the opening at all though...To me, it was a loud booming Giorgio flinging White Diamonds through a Red Door...LOL If you like big bang white florals, you will likely get along with this one. I think many would appreciate the drydown. I did not get fruit at any time, but maybe the top notes were not so great in my old bottle.

Incredibly beautiful, classic, and feminine. I find the opening to be extremely floral, a little spicy, and just slightly powdery. Within the first 5 to 10 minutes the initial burst of white floral fades out to favour the powdery rose and iris. The sweetness of the fruits really starts to comes through here. Each stage of this perfume showcases something different, but even as it changes nothing is lost. I think this is something that’s suited to anyone of any age, the classic florals make it mature and ‘appropriate’ while the fruity sweetness keeps it youthful. This is a scent I’ll keep in my collection for a long time, I don’t think you can go wrong with it.

This was a pleasant surprise! Admittedly, I purchased this blindly just to get to free shipping on my order from a gray market site, but I ended up really enjoying it. It's a slightly soapy, fruity floral. The jasmine, pear, blackberry, white musk, and a bit of vanilla stand out the most on my skin. This to me does not smell like it came out 30 years ago, I would've guessed more like 15-20 at most. A classic spring/summer fragrance but can be worn in any season, day or night, and the bottle is gorgeous.

I blind bought a vintage set of miniatures of this fragrance in 3 gorgeous unique-Lalique bottles, not even caring if I'd like the scent. Turns out I do. The jasmine is doing the most work here which skews this very feminine, but it's the cloves & sandalwood that makes it a bit dirty and oh, so French. Lalique announces that the wearer has class and quite cultured in an effortless way that says 'quiet luxury' in a semi-loud way. Now I'm buying a full size version, and not just for the bottle.
