Celebration II

Celebration II by Lancetti. I really, really wanted to have this perfume in my collection because I adore the notes and it being a Chypre Floral or rather a Neo Chypre Floral, made me take a risk and blind buy this with high hopes but sadly, those hopes were short lived. Why? This scent is so quiet and quickly disappears into a skin scent, also the longevity is virtually non existent. It seems to be quite Rose and Patchouli forward, 5 mins into the opening and I am getting is some strong, extremely peppery Patchouli, which is followed closely with some jammy, warm Rose and a highly synthetic, musky base of which I am having a slight reaction too. This being the case, I think that I will be passing this on anonymously, as it's just not my kind of thing. It's giving me a slight headache and a slight scratchy throat, with a metallic taste in my mouth, so I know that the musk in this is the worst kind, as that particular aromachemical always has the effect on me. But for anyone whose thinking of buying this, I would say that it strongly resembles Pierre Cardins Rose Cardin. Like it's so close to it, and they have similar notes. So for anyone whose been wanting something close to Rose Cardin, particularly the reformulation. You could opt for this as well, as these scents are literally cousins.So it's now no surprise, that I never got along with either of these scents.
