Absolue 1001 Roses

I can’t get enough of this. It opens rose but dries down to a green, clean rose. This is so beautiful. It’s number one in my collection and I love all my perfumes (LV Spell On You, Ex Nihilo Lust in Pardise, Replica Beach Walk, Aerin Rose de Grasse Rouge).

Omg this is so gooooood!! A clean, fresh rose scent that smells elegant and lovely. It sits very close to the skin, and I’m obsessed!

06. October 2024. I meeeeaaan, come on Lancome! This is basically the Mille en une rose from 2022, when price for 100ml was 195, but now its even more simplified packaging and price increase suddenly to 275euros for 100ml??!! ( i have a review for that one from 2022 as well) Seriously???!! I do think it smells very much like Aerin Lauder's Rose de grasse just more greener, which has better bottle and performance. This is truly ridiculous! Basically if you have Aerin or previous Mille une rose versions, then no need to even bother with this.

Nice rose perfume that's 100% rose without feeling old-lady scent. It's nice but not FB worthy for me. Lasting power is moderate (5-6 hours at most), while the scent stays close to skin.

Forgettable light rose scent. Something Guerlain would release in aqua allegoria line for half the price. Cash cow for lancome...

it smells like a lemon cologne to me and nothing else. too sharp, too repulsive

Amazing, ..somewhat. I'm the first person who has thought to review this 1001 Roses in eight or nine months, since the last guy (also me) gave it a shot. The scent is largely identical and identifiable to what I smelled before, but now it is coming across much more pleasantly, like honey and powder, a musky rose-laced powder. actually that honey with musk is reminding me of my vintage bottle of Coty Musk for Men, though its not quite as richly endowed as that. - Hey, I call 'em like I smell 'em. I'm not sure if time, mood, or the season has somewhat improved my perception of this. It is now Summer, and many scent will be bloom better with some heat, ...though I am inside a lightly air-conditioned room.

The very opening seems to be entirely of odd unlisted notes, like grapefruit and bread rolls... Maybe these are the 'solar' notes, though they even seem atypical of those already vague entities. There is also some light, sweet florality, but it is very inexact, more like muguet and pavoine than rose. I don't know what to say. Is the vial 'off'? It's from Lancome, not a secondary decant. Even if we want to imagine the flowers as being atypical roses, there certainly aren't one thousand and one of them, more like a half dozen at most. I mean, this does smell 'nice', inconsequentially faint and nebulous, ...but 'nice'.

I typically love the Maison Lancome fragrances and have purchased many bottles. I was curious about this new line and I love roses, although it was difficult to determine which one to try I selected 1001 roses on a blind. I am so sorry. For the price of $295 this is a LAZY concoction of basic green rose. A nothing bomb. Maybe it would be ok as a layering fragrance but NOT for almost $300. I will be returning. I am so disappointed. It is not a bad smell.. it is just honestly basic rose with a green leaning clean. It initially sprays green/metallic and warms down to more of a cut rose.

Very simple, very pretty rose scent. Nothing more. A safe blind buy if you love rose perfume. Longevity is 6-7 hours on skin and days on jackets and scarves. While I have bought high priced perfume before, this seems a little much for such a simple rose perfume. I personally wouldn't pay $280 for this. Again, it's very pretty but nothing that has me dying to buy the bottle because I can't get it out of my head.

This is a beautiful successor of "2000 et une rose" from 1999, I remember the original to be more faceted and spicy, a bit old fashioned even back in the days. Lancome added some smoothed-out juicy notes to this current release to modernize it. This smells like a mixture of the original with some drops of Idole.

Agreed with @ passionata20 this is a nice and the rebottle of the old Mille Une rose... it smells really nice but it feels like a flatter version also it definitely does not worth the new price tag... all these new releases are with insane price tag now... so crazy

Two parts Aerin rose de grasse, one part pdm delina rosee. But those scents on their own are better than this. Not bad just nothing wow Bottles in this line are very nice, prettier in person

This collection is centered around the rose this one was my favorite reminded me of the scents that were released in the early 2000s it’s long lasting but light at the same time
