Absolue Le Parfum

My partner got this perfume for me, as well as "6am Rose" in the same line, as he is particularly fond of rose scents. Of the two this is my favorite. It is a simple and straightforward rose fragrance that sits relatively close to the skin but has very good longevity. The tea note provides interest to the fragrance, and I'm able to smell the note for most of the fragrance's wear, which for me lasts roughly 9-10hours. Since the fragrance sits close to the skin (you can smell it for the first 5 hours at about a foot away for me) it's a great choice for an office setting. I can also see it as a great signiture scent for someone year round. I primarily wear it during the day time, but its good longevity means I sometimes wear it in tge evening, and I find it a calming bedtime perfume on occasion as well. Overall, one of my favorite recent fragrances.

What a beautifully luxurious scent. Soft white rose with a delicate hint of jasmine, wrapped in a creamy, skin like softness. It reminds me of freshly showered skin after using an expensive soap and a rich body cream. Glowing, velvety, and perfectly moisturised. The fragrance feels intimate and personal rather than attention seeking. It isn’t a “look at me” fragrance, instead it feels calm, composed, and effortlessly sophisticated. Definitely signature scent worthy, and a huge compliment getter Longevity is 6+ hours on my skin, with a projection of about an arm’s length, perfectly matching the understated luxury of the scent. My only downside is the bottle design. While it feels substantial and heavy, I still miss the older Maison Lancôme bottles with their elegant magnetic caps, which felt far more luxurious to me.

This perfume smells just like the Lancôme Absolue cream to me, albeit, slightly more citrusy than the scent of that face cream. I get some of the white tea and especially the musk as well, but I can't smell any of the jasmine in the notes of this fragrance. It has a lovely luxe spa-like quality to it. Lancôme Le Parfum is a very feminine, youthful and light smelling fragrance and definitely a very naturalistic rose scent. I feel that a spring or summer day would be the perfect time to wear this gem and I don't think that it could offend anyone, to be honest. I get moderate sillage from Lancôme's Le Parfum and a wear time of about 8 hours on my skin. I love the bottle this scent comes in too and I find it very beautiful, chic, sleek and luxe looking. I'd personally give this fragrance an 8.5/10 altogether.

This perfume reminds me of Chrome Azzaro. it feels like its feminine counterpart. It’s an incredibly beautiful fragrance that stands out with its originality among women’s perfumes. Some scents are so universal that you can’t imagine anyone disliking them. This one is exactly like that— even if someone wouldn’t wear it themselves, they would still admire its scent. I first noticed the resemblance to Chrome Azzaro when I tried it in the store, and after checking the notes on Fragrantica , I saw that they are indeed quite similar, though not identical. There are subtle yet beautiful differences between them. In short, it’s an outstanding perfume. Thank you, Lancôme, for introducing such a wonderful fragrance.😍

To me it's a ROSE perfume - to the point that it almost gives me a headache. I also detect the musk and a shadow of white tea. Alltogether, the result is a sensation of peacefull, mature luxury. It somehow reminds me of my first expensive face cream I used 25 years ago, but it was not Lancome, I'm sure. It was Galenic. It's a perfume of understated (yet overwhealming) feminine elegance. The drydown is very masculine, on the other hand...

Beautiful, masterful opening: a refreshing, tea-like floral that lasts for only about 30 minutes. Then the fragrance transitions into a light musky dry-down that sits very close to the skin. It's a shame these two phases are so different from each other. I'd gladly buy a bottle for the opening alone, but the dry-down doesn't quite win me over.

One of the most beatiful scents for me so far. Warm , cosy , powdery skin but better scent. Soft but longlasting. Hard to describe, you should try by yourself. Worth every penny.

I would love to try this. My curiosity is killing me. I wonder if it smells anything like their luxurious Absolue face cream. I absolutely love that stuff. I love the texture, and the smell!! I've never bought a jar of it, because it is so expensive. I've only gotten the little sample jars, that come with a gift with purchase. Looking at the "Reminds Me" section, makes me think it doesn't smell like the cream. The cream has a really fresh and natural kind of smell. I'll have to get a hold of a sample of this. I'm intrigued.

It's a mystery how blackcurrant/cassis isn't listed as a note! It has to be a purposeful choice, as that's the most prominent note here to me. The opening is mostly just blackcurrant and citrus to my nose, the rose only starting to peek through in the mids. There's a beautiful natural quality to this scent, it smells like a garden in a very clean yet organic way. Very fruity from the blackcurrant, but it's not a juicy sweet jammy fruitiness, more like a sharper green aromatic dewy fruitiness.

This doesn’t smell like the skin cream. Only people of a certain age will know what I mean, but it is a cross between the original Miracle edp from 2000, and the smell of the mall hallway outside of Abercrombie and Fitch. It’s not a retro scent yet for me, it’s plain outdated. Maybe another decade or so and this smell will be everywhere again, but let’s not rush it.

Tried this on a drizzly late spring evening and it left me underwhelmed. I guess the weather isn't right for the type of scent it is: zesty, citrusy, and unisex—not unpleasant, but nothing memorable either. I suppose it’s a good thing that I picked it up during Lancôme’s 30% sale.

This is just ok. I don't really know what to think about it, it's at the same time pretty unique yet very basic, it's hard to describe. This has very good performance and is 100% unisex.

I spray an unknown vial on the back of my hand (and a blotter). All I know is it's a rose absolue from Lancome. It start swith the most delicious note of sweetenend lime, as if I'm sampling an exceptionally well-flavoured lollipop or well-made cocktail. The sweetness reminds me of sugar and vanilla, much more than rose. I don't think I would have thought of it as rose. Now i read the vial. I read it twice. The fragrance is just called 'Le Perfume'?? Gee, is the marketing team that determined to impose icon status on this? ...Still, that is a very nice lime scent. That ideal lime stays around awhile, and the sweetness becomes more floral, but still not particularly rose. I also see there is a prominent 'Tea' accord that I've been ignoring. Yes, I agree, it is there and its varied nuances are certainly part of what first attracted me to that exceptional lime. This is a very soothingly pleasant citrus-forward tea cologne scent. Perhaps Lancome is making a play for Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea fans. I'm hardly ready to think of this as just 'le parfum', ..but somebody might. Edit: the drydown is delectable. There is something there that doesn't remind me of any listed note. Maybe something like sandalwood?

Lancôme Le Parfum from the Absolue line took me by surprise. With its focus on the rose from Lancôme’s own domain, I expected a bold floral statement, but instead, it opens with a beautiful hesperidic brightness—zesty, green citrus sparkling against a delicate musk. It’s refreshing, almost airy, and not at all the heavy rose composition I had anticipated. And that’s exactly why I love it. There’s an understated allure here, something demure yet undeniably present. It’s elegant without trying too hard, the kind of scent that lingers gracefully rather than dominates a space. The bottle, regal in its design, would have felt even more refined with a magnetic cap—a small but meaningful touch that would have elevated the experience. At MYR1045 per 100ml (USD270 as of March 10, 2025), it’s not an impulse buy, but I already see this becoming a staple in my collection. I know I’ll be reaching for it often, and when the bottle runs low, I won’t hesitate to get another.

This is my first review on the forum. Absolue Parfum is gorgeous. For all of us who use this house’s Absolue skincare line, this fragrance absolutely captures that beautiful scent that they have, that generates a sense of peace and wellbeing as soon as we apply them. A drenched flower garden with its own orchard , after a light rain, with the fragrance of the old roses and citrus leading the others . I’m so glad I blind bought it after reading the reviews here.

Very pleasant, signature like, peaceful scent. It smells elegant and well rounded. Balanced. I own this, 6 am rose and Storm and Roses. All are very different from each other but they have something in common: signature kind of perfumes.

so delicate so fresh so elegant so intimate , but doesn’t stay for more than 10 minutes , good for someone who doesn’t like strong projection and high sillage , overpriced i don’t know if i will buy it again

It is a soft smell (skin scent) that lasts extremely long. Nice for moments when you want to smell elegant but not too loud. Tea is noticeable here. It makes the scent very subtle and cosy.

Fishy tea, and then rose, citrus, and musk. It's just a decent scent. Maybe they put this scent in their expensive cream. Only the pricing is ridiculous.

Le parfum is the perfect "your skin but better" scent. Demure, inoffensive but with caracter. French perfumery done right.

It performs well on my skin. It smells great to me!
