Aroma Blue

This is quite nice. It's highly non descript and a bit dated, but it might be a pleasant offering for those who enjoy L'eau d'Issey, Cool Water, Aqua di Gio', L'eau par Kenzo and other floral - acquatic fragrances. It's a bright, floral, creamy (creamy as in body cream, think Dove, Nivea and the like) fragrance, sillage and longevity are moderate on my skin.

As a relaxing-revitalising spray encriched with mandarin and ginger essential oils (volatile : they do not linger scent-wise), osmanthus, peony, ceder, whit musk, magnesium and potassium: it is a great treat! Makes my skin softly scented and fresh and keeps it moisturized and silky.

the other reviewers are right; this is very weak. At first I was surprised, I always suspect my sample seller is trying to sell me bad product, and why would a Lancome scent be this bad? You can imagine my relief. My sample is 'the real thing', the product genuinely is a skin scent. Who knew? I might use up the rest of the small vial. The scent itself is not bad, quite interesting. But of course I'm not looking for a skin scent

It's no surprise this is discontinued and doesn't have a page full of fans begging for a comeback. I'm not sure if this is a thing in other countries, but in Germany most brands of all-purpose cleaner have a spring themed floral variety with light blue or turquoise liquid, and Aroma Blue smells just like that. At least on my skin. Add an unpleasant rubbery undertone and 5 minutes of nice fresh mandarin in the opening, and that's it. Goes on loud, but turns into a watery skin scent quickly. Lancôme has so many good fragrances, but this feels uninspired. Only recommended for hardcore fans of early 2000s aquatics.

I get a lot of peony and heavy musk. Not much of the orange and ginger doesn't last more than 10 seconds. I can feel the minerals and something very syntehtic from this. Not my top favorite but it's useable. Rate at 6/10
