Hypnôse Homme Eau Fraiche

This is the best thing for warm months that I have ever smelled on a man! - I am referring to the EDT version which is not separately listed here. I gave a 100 ml bottle to my DH hoping that he will wear it at least on some days out of obligation... :-) I hate fresh cucumbers as a food item, but in a perfume, with a dash of a white floral sweetener - nothing, and I am prepared to repeat myself many times! - NOTHING creates freshness and quenches thirst better that a good old cucumber!! I am not a fan of a woman's version, but Hypnose for men ticks all my boxes! A lush green cucumber with a touch of vetiver (another love of mine) and a wee bit of mint on top- what a perfect marriage they make here! Out of 10 I give it 20.

First I bought this one as a gift to a friend! Then, I decided to keep it to myself! Call me selfish or selfcentered, but this scent captivated me so much that I couldn't let it go! However, I never bought one again because _ I don't know if my likings have changed _ it smelles a lot different nowadays. A smell that I don't like very much! I don't really know why but it does not appeal to me anymore as it did back in 2008! (Maybe I need to buy it as a gift to see why!!)

This was a blind buy for me. I am not disappointed at all! This is definitely a fresh take on the regular Hypnose Homme. Not fresh in a citrus way though, but it is quite refreshing. It has the DNA of Hypnose Homme, but much lighter. I love the lavender in this, and it has a powdery feel, and a slight sweetness. Not your average summer cologne that is full of citrus notes. This is worth seeking out!

Very fresh, almost sweet summer fragrance. Light talc scent on dry-down, but that only serves to enforce the fragrance in terms of longevity. The only down-side is the projection and sillage - probably best to buy the larger sizes as you'll be re-applying half way through the day if you want to get the most out of it.

Picked this one up at a Marshalls I think. Well it turned out be very smooth and way above my expectations. It had a unique citrus amber kinda like eating a lemon doughnut while wearing a fine amber fragrance. I miss it.

I love it! Right off the nozzle I could tell this would be awesome! Only proble is it doesn't suit my skin :-( Still, great smell. Ginger, mandarin and mint are a great start to this fragrance, the violet in it's open heart makes a perfect floral balance IMO and the oakmoss holds it up with sheer sophistication. Romantic and brave are the two words that come to mind.

The opening smell is same as amouage reflection but not same quality of course, but still smells awesome. n my skin it has longevity issues 10/6 points from me

Im a huge hypnose fanatic and collector, I initially put off buying any of the homme variants for years in fear of not liking them as much as the original purple Hypnose. After my fear being confirmed with Hypnose homme, i had to acquire this eau fraiche variant and simply complete my collection. Im glad to report this is much better than the original hypnose homme. If you are trying to decide which of the two to buy, theres no contest, BUY THIS ONE! I find it to be significantly more complex in composition, with a more exciting dry down, but sadly worse overall longevity/performance. It’s fresh and aromatic in comparison to the flat and dull spicey profile of the original homme. This cologne nostalgically reminds me of a nice afternoon at the barbershop the day before a big Italian family event. That being said, I dont love these types of fragrances or even wear many colognes in general. Ill never find myself reaching for one of the three of these i have; nonetheless im glad to have them as part of my collection. Snag one before prices get crazier than they already are, value seems to increase monthly since the discontinuation of the Hypnose line. This is a 6/10 for me.

Watered down version of the original. Just swaps out the cardamom for ginger to give it some freshness. Projection and longevity are a joke and you'll need to reapply this every 3-4 hours. If you want a lighter version of YSL's L'homme then look no further.

To the reviewers here who said this gives barbershop 💈 vibes/ Fougère.. kiss my hairy hairy ASS!! $90 wasted in hopes of smelling a fresh talcum. 👎🏾. This smells like a YSL fragrance. Like original L’Homme + Y/ Dylan Blue. Ginger is the shining star followed by lavender & clean patchouli. No mint, no moss. Smells better in the air as the ginger is ozonic, watery w/ a sweetness. First 40min I literally almost gagged a few times 🤢. Luckily the dry down a couple hrs later is a pleasant experience.. unfortunately the scent is practically gone around 3hrs. I agree this is the Original with a ginger substitute.

Definitely aromatic with lots of lavender taking center stage. It's a simple, fresh scent that I like to wear when I'm going to be outdoors and/or in a casual mood. I get a lot of compliments on it, too. Hard to find, but worth the hunt!

Sounds interesting. I like lavender and oakmoss in my fragrances so I'll have to try it. I'm not particularly into the classical Hypnose so I hope this one is different.
