La Nuit Trésor 2019

Pretty sure I have this one, not the original one. Really wanna try the OG tho but this one, in my opinion is not bad. I like to blind buy popular perfumes if they don't cost me a kidney because most of the time, I'll like the purchase. This one is no exception. Tbh, when I first bought it, I thought it was overpriced and overhyped, and a waste of money. It smelled good to my nose, but wasn't anything too special. And it was quite flat, as in it felt ike there was no top notes, middle notes, base notes whatsoever. They all smelled the same. So I left the bottle in a dark corner in a while, and just reached for it once or twice during the course of a couple months. But recently, when I suddenly craved for it, I tried it again and OMG. This perfume has aged like fine wine. It's got so much deeper, darker, and even more feminine. The layers also become so much more distinguishable. You have the top notes which are very much berry-ish, a bit sweet, a bit tangy, dark but bright at the same time, feels like some sort of sparkling wine. The top notes are my favourite. The rose and patchouli in this, you can smell them all through out. Patchouli somehow smells like chocolate to my nose, so at first I thought it had a chocolate note. But I realised it was patchouli because I just bought Katy Perry's Killer Queen recently and they both have that chocolatey smell and both have patchouli. As it dries down, this patchouli note becomes more and more prevalent. The base notes are kind of dry, powdery, vanilic, sweet, with strong chocolatey scent and and a wisp of rose, all together will make you smell exactly like a rose-infused brownie. If you're into that, this perfume is for you. What I like but also kind of don't about this perfume is how sharp it smells. Sweet scents can usually be so smooth and creamy it feels like something round, but this one is sweet and feminine but sharp. Like, when you smell it at any note, you'll feel like something kinda pointy is tickling your nose. I don't like that but it really gives this scent the contrast and complex it needs, and makes it feel more expensive and interesting, and not too sickeningly sweet gourmand. That being said, this scent is still flirty for sure, although not in-your-face flirty, like i-want-you kind of flirty, but more like discretely, mysteriously flirty, like come-to-me kind of flirty. Very inviting. If this perfume is an aesthetic, it's dark femininity. Overall, after using it for a couple months, this perfume grew on me A LOT. Don't get me wrong, I still feel what I felt about it at first, like it's still kinda overhyped and overpriced, and still a bit flat, but this perfume ages beautifully with time so I feel like, in the future it'll become even more beautiful. It makes me feel like a princess everytime I wear it lol like i'm the most beautiful, most alluring, most feminine person in the room, which boosts my confidence like a ton. Personally I think you can wear this anytime, even to the office, just not on a very hot day, as you may suffocate everyone around. Also not a scent if you plan to get in a bus packed with people for the same reason. It is potent. It projects and lasts all day. And if you're gonna wear it, definitely go with a skirt or a dress, or something black or dark wine, or purple. Score: 8/10

About a year ago, I accidentally bought this perfume. My intention was to buy the gourmand version. But thanks to this mistake, I think I found my signature perfume. It's a fruity, delicious, juicy, feminine, and rose-like scent. The more you smell it, the more you want to keep smelling it. When I smell it from the bottle, I get the energetic scent of raspberry and the juicy scent of lychee. Along with these two notes, you also get rose and patchouli. Patchouli can sometimes make perfumes masculine, but it hasn't been used that way in this perfume. I also get smoky notes. It adds mystery to this perfume. As for longevity and sillage, I'm very sad to say that even though I oversprays, I can't smell it after 2-3 hours. Maybe my nose is getting used to it, I don't know, but I don't experience this with my other perfumes. This upsets me because I really love this perfume. (When I say overspray, I mean overspray, like 20 sprays or so). By the way, I go to high school, and every time I wear this perfume, my friends and teachers compliment me. One teacher even complimented me five times in just half an hour (I love her sm). Also, even though I sprayed it in the morning, someone asked me about my perfume when I got on the bus after school. I told her, "I can't smell it, I'm surprised you asked." She said, "But you really smell amazing, and I can smell it." Besides these, if you like this, I can recommend Angel Nova for summer. It's another perfume where you can sense the raspberry but it's more tropical and cheerful. I think its longevity is pretty good too.

The OG formulation sounds divine but this is a standalone review for this formulation. This is a beautiful fragrance. One I can't get enough of. I bought a 7ml bottle to test, used it twice in two daysand have now purchased a large bottle because this is an easy love for me. It's sweet and fragrant. The raspberry is tart, sour but sweet, divine, lifted by the bergamot and lychee. The frankincense gives it heady, earthy, incense. The rose adds to the richness. Then the base note of vanilla and papyrus... 😍 I have a love hate relationship with patchouli. I can go either way. But in this, the patchouli mixes perfectly with the sweeter, and, fragant notes and incense. It's truly delicious. For some it may be too sweet or intense but I don't mind at all. I would happily (and have been) sniff myself all day. Lancômes longevity is outstanding. Easily a 12 hour plus fragrance. Mainly the vanilla and frankincense linger on skin. Both are a beautiful mix. The other notes last over a day on clothing. Projection is good too. Definitely at arms length. I haven't seen people to ask their thoughts. Is this the beginning of an olibanum/frankincense love affair for me? It may just well be. I love Nag Champa and the middle and base notes remind me of that or other Satya incense. I have now set my eyes on the intense version. The body lotion is also divine. 🥰

This is a fall/ winter perfume with night time seductive performance. Incredibly sexy and very very beast mode perfume. This is one of my favorite perfumes and I cannot begin to tell you amount of compliments I get on this. I am sad that this is only a flanker and they no longer make it so I am cherishing every little bit I have and I wear on special occasions only. Seductive, sexy, strong, dark, be careful how much you spray ; it is very very long lasting. This is probably one of the longest lasting perfume I own and I have a LOT of them. Strawberry and Rasbery do come out as main notes but not in a sweet innocent way ; my husband/ my gfs/ random people always ask me what I am wearing when I put this on. I can see why it can be cloying for some and very defensive as it's very strong but I love it! We all have different tastes.

Just got this in the mail and I was a bit taken back by the opening which was way more similar to the edt than I though it would be. I really thought this would have a more "dark" scent to back up the marketing, however I was aware that the 2015 version is more praised than this so I tried to not expect too much. After the very fruity and a bit sharp opening it does dry down very nicely I must say. The dry down is more sweet and a bit "dark" in my opinion and I do enjoy it very much. Bottle is beautiful. Update after a day: wore this today on rainy but pretty warm day and I must say it is very beautiful, delicious and sexy. The dry down is just so lovely, deep and sweet. I actually love it so much and it is such a pleasure to get wafts of this fragrance throughout the day. Makes me feel feminine and dressed up.

This performance-oriented designer fragrance, which I've bought bottle after bottle for years, is a scent that everyone asks about and can't get out of their minds even after all these years. I get extra compliments on the days I wear it; it's one of those rare fragrances that makes heads turn, shouting "I'm here!" It has its own unique sweetness. I'm not particularly fond of sweet scents, but this magnificent treasure is the result of the harmony of rose and vanilla. It's quite gourmand and unique, and one of my boyfriend's favorites.

the notes listed here seem a little off, but either way this perfume is extremely sweet and sexy, this is my favorite one at the moment. sillage is great and it lasts quite long, most Lancôme perfumes are beasts when it comes to that. when you first smell it it's a sugar bomb, but it develops into more gourmand sweet and after several hours all you can smell is sweet vanilla. on that note, it's too gourmand for hot weather so I mostly reach for this in winter and spring. and maybe summer nights. for me, this fragrance is flawless.

reminds me of miss dior absolutely blooming but darker and deeper, a night time version of it. the lychee in the opening is watery-green, fresh and gorgeous, balancing out the deeper accords that come later. its stunning, truly a bewitching elixir of love, everything in it turns out beautifully. i love how the incense and the caramel plays out with the fruity and rose notes, reminds me a bit of the lingering scent that l’extase by nina ricci leaves on the skin, melted deep caramel on luxurious rose petals.

Lancome has quickly become one of my favourite perfume houses, I already own 4 of the la vie est belle line and 2 of the idole line, I decided to blind buy this as so far for me lancome has not gone wrong. So, the verdict.....still has not gone wrong, a beautiful, sweet, raspberry masterpiece! Instantly hooked and interested in buying more from the range 🙌 👌 edit: just ordered another bottle, after a few wears I picked up on the litchi much more than other notes now. It's very interesting and beautiful

Gorgeous. Quite simply a beautiful well rounded oriental floral that is easily worn everywhere. This is one of my most complimented perfumes, I always get asked what I'm wearing when I where this to the office and have actually had a colleague purchase a bottle after smelling it. I personally find this to have the perfect combination of fruity and floral. I also get a slight oriental hint too. I bought blind and have to say it did not disappoint, it's definitely in my top 5. I'd rate 9.5/10

This is by far my favorite perfume and has been for years now. It's sophisticated, warm, sweet, romantic but bold, elegant, with excellent longevity and amazing notes throughout the entire wear. I'd say it's most suited for evening/night wear but I love it so much I also wear it during the day. Not the best fit for summer but again, I love it so much that I sometimes break the rules. Naughty me lol :)) I just love to feel it on my skin, it is so so SO amazing.

blind buy successfully!! Ahhh I missed this kind of perfumes, they don't make scents like this anymore. Sensual, Loud, Intoxicating, a tiny bit old-fashioned and you can smell it from the Moon. it's evening appropriate for sure. the Lychee/Raspberry and Vanilla in here reminds me of Armani Diamonds a lot, which is my first perfume and still keeping it, the same vibe, Very syrupy sweet, Rich and Decadent. and btw it's long-Lasting than many niche. mfg: 2025

think I found my new signature scent! so glad I didn’t listen to the fragrance police reviews. it’s sweet and sexy! just two sprays as soon as I got it in the mail and I can still smell it on myself five hours later. already got compliments, too! perfect for dates/night out. it’s a safe blind buy. don’t overthink it.

This was a blind buy, I do not regret it. Smells beautiful on my skin, my husband reacted very positively he could not get enough of the smell for sure you will get a positive reaction is beautiful the more it sits in my skin it lasted 4 hours in my skin

Should come with a warning sign, do not over spray two are more than enough. Overall beautiful perfume. Fills up a room.

I just received this perfume. It reminds me a lot of Miss Dior - Absolutely blooming, but a little sweeter. Gorgeous!!

Whew! She's a strong one. The tart litchi and bergamot in the opening remind me exactly of Club de Nuit Maleka, but La Nuit Tresor does that combo better IMO. I'm unfortunately not a fan of what I smell between the opening and the dry down though. The rose note is heavy, kind of synthetic and falls flat for me personally. The vanilla dry down, however, is DIVINE. I wish I could skip straight to that part and douse my clothing in it! This doesn't necessarily strike me as a date night/going-out only type scent, but it's not something I'd wear to a parent/teacher conference, for example, and I think it would give me a headache if I wore it on a hot, humid day. For now I'm glad I just bought a 5 ml decant, and I'll try it again when the weather becomes even colder. I also might track down a decant of the pre-2019 formulation. Likewise, Club de Nuit Maleka wasn't my cup of tea either when I tried it, but if you want a softer, more warm weather-friendly version of this scent profile, you'll probably enjoy it a lot! :) ** Update 11/3 - Wearing her today, and she's growing on me immensely! One spray on my wrist creates a lovely scent bubble. Is La Nuit Tresor extra on days where you're simply doing chores around the house? She sure is, but I'm here for it. ;) ** Update 11/21 - This has become one of my go-to perfumes on days where I need a little more oomph. My youngest told me I smelled "delicious" this morning!

The rose and smoky leathery notes are a bit overpowering at first! This isn't a fragrance I could douse myself in without a headache ^^; The praline fades so so fast in the opening and I wish it lasted!! Once it starts settling, its defined by deep vanilla, and patchouli, with something like honey? The vanilla reminds me of the vanillas YSL uses, which is a plus! Its definitely syrupy, but instead of the listed raspberry and litchee, my nose detects strawberry~ The drydown is reminiscent of Angel, but sweeter and less patchouli than the current Angel formulation... I was pleasantly surprised when the praline snuck back into my perception eventually ^^/ I like that it maintains some juicy brightness even when dry, which helps it stand out from some other fragrances I own! It also reminds me of a sultrier drydown of Flowerbomb Nectar, at times? its sexy and classic~ Its absolutely a fall/winter nighttime scent.. It'd be way too much during the day or at the office lol I'm sad to have missed out on the pre-2019 formulation with caramel and coffee! That would absolutely take this over the top in the best way ;; I'll be trying to track down a full bottle of the original on resale, hopefully its still around!

I don't own a lot of perfume because I'm way too picky- I'll often go for testers or minis. With this gem, I picked up a mini and I wore it for the first time on a girls night out, keeping the mini safe with me in my clutch bag. Later I learned there was absolutely no need to keep this in my bag because the performance was insane - I smelled damn good all night and well into the morning! When I was emptying my clutch, I have to say I felt pure devastation to find that my little mini had accidentally opened and leaked onto everything. I didnt care so much that my soggy makeup was now for the bin, but that I no longer had any of this sweet, addictive juice in my possession. So in conclusion, I bought a full bottle. Definitely a night time perfume. Vanilla scents are often sweet and playful but the patchouli brings the sexy and seductive side out in this.

Moving the review here because I was told this has a new page now for the reformulation. Smooth and fruity gourmand while also being deep and dark. The dark floral rose adds a lot of sexiness to this. Lasts a while and smells lovely and seductive. I wish I could smell the OG, this is beautiful enough already so I can't even imagine how complex the OG was. It's on the border of "almost too sweet" for me but it still never crosses it and stays within limits (unlike how LVEB can be too much sometimes). LNT >>> LVEB Soft, slightly powdery, sweet drydown. Beautiful, beautiful. I have à la Folie (and a backup bottle of it too) and I really want to get the Nude one as well, so I'm thinking having this might be too much. But they still smell different enough so I might get it at some point on a discount. It's just so mysterious and gorgeous.

I bought a box of Lancome mini perfumes and this surprised me by being an easy reach. It is very sweet, but tolerable because it's so smooth. There is nothing too harsh or scratchy here. It's not usually what I would wear in colder weather but it has been my most complimented fragrance and I am wearing it more this winter. Non offensive (in my opinion) as long as you don't over apply. Longevity is impressive and stays in my scarves, jacket collars for weeks. Sillage gets a thumbs up as I was complimented by a colleague today and I had applied the tiniest amount. I have bought a full bottle as the mini is running out. Even my fragrance fan mum complimented me and she has deep disdain for sweet gourmand type fragrances. High compliment indeed from the die hard Samsara, Lou Lou and Aromatics Elixir fanatic.

The sweetest and strongest gourmand fragrance I own. I like the hint of smokiness. I'm on my second bottle but not sure if I'll repurchase as my nose demands more unisex scents at this time in my life. I wore this at my brother's wedding and that's what I'll remember it by. I had a small bottle I was able to squeeze in my purse and thank god it fit because I needed to re spray myself throughout the day. I'd expect better longevity from this calibre of fragrance (like Scandal - also sweet and gourmand) but people do comment it has been reformulated and doesn't last long as OG version so that would make sense. I also wish I had a chance to smell the OG to understand the differences better. Word of advice? Stop reformulating fragrances!

Beautiful perfume. Gives me My Burberry Black vibes. Very dark, sexy and beautiful. It’s not unique as most La Nuit Tresor are a bit similar including its sweeter sisters La Nuit Tresor (2015 formula) and La Nuit Tresor Folie. I have all of these flankers and La Nuit Tresor (2019 newest formula) is my favourite as it’s less sweet, it has patchouli note that I like. It’s great perfume with long and strong projection, very long lasting - all day on my skin and few days on clothes. As it’s so strong and deep perfume I would say it’s perfect for fall and winter, or colder summer nights. For evenings in general would be sooo good! This was a love at first sniff.

I had no idea there were two listings for this, or that any reformulation was significant enough to need one (I don’t know how I missed it, but there you have it!). I thought it was just a change in me that meant I could now enjoy La Nuit but it turns out I have the newer formulation (on checking the batch number) and have amended my wardrobe accordingly! I’m sorry some are unhappy with the change but for me I’m glad as I love this version. I still get strong caramel from it so I think the pyramid is stripped down but it’s definitely a raspberry fragrance not a strawberry one for me. Still huge sillage and very long lasting.

When I spray the first sniff I get is a sweet intense raspberry after a few minutes is when the magic happens ! It’s a beautiful winter/evening scent and it is for gourmand lovers this is not your light type of perfume. It’s a beast in projection and lasts on clothes and skin. Very sexy the type of scent that men tend to like on women. It’s a pretty scent bottle is cute as well I’ll say it’s good to have it in your collection but it is not a daily reach for me.

I like the tart fruitiness mixed in with the patchouli in this fragrance a lot. The patchouli is noticeably there in the mix but for once I don’t dislike it. I like the level of sweetness and there is this smokey dark element shrouding the whole fragrance. It gives me sultry date night vibes. It’s a nice offering and if there’s a good sale on this one I’d maybe add it to the collection, but wouldn’t be a top priority.

This is wild strawberries dipped in praline chocolate heaven! I'm very impressed! Yes, this is a reformulation that went great! The longevity and the sillage are phenomenal, the frag itself is fantastic. I can't find any flaws in it. So, no need to look for pre-reformulated bottles. After all the restrictions in perfumery, Lancome has managed to keep the quality of its fragrances very high! It's on my want list.

Is a Good fragance if you like rose/papyrus/lychee/praline scents, sweet yet not as the original; Fruity, acidic and sugary but not like the 2015 formula, no, not even close 😤 Still I miss the original formula, with passion fruit, Strawberries and anise in it, it was perfect!! Why the heck should all the expensive brands ruin their most iconic perfumes?!

This is a good scent, only it has a tad of an inexpensive, Bath & Body Works fragrance mist quality to it. It is very reminiscent of Good Girl--to my nose at least--which also has that 'body spray' quality. La Nuit Pendora by Paris Corner, which is a very close dupe of the 2015 formulation of this, has more depth, although less longevity and projection.

It lasts forever on clothes, that's why I bought a 100ml bottle. It's more of a date night type of scent, very intoxicating. I would say it's smells great at any type of weather or season. I will agree with a comment below, It does have a synthetic smell, especially at the beginning. Sadly I never tried the first formula.

I have not tried the 2015 formulation, I wish I could though, but this 2019 formulation is not bad at all ! It’s strong and long lasting. I’m getting la vie est belle in the opening. Its not an every day cent but for special occasions. It’s definitely worth a try and I think older women would appreciate this one.

I like how it smells currently. It is an amazing performer. The smell is frudity sweet but in an adult way. Maybe not as dark as it used to be. But still slightly smooky. It has its own unique charakter, which is not easy to find for a designer fragrance nowadays.

Recently had some girlfriends over who wanted to see my perfume collection. Upon entering the room one of them went straight to this bottle as if it were under a spot light. I agree with z808 in that the bottle, black rose, and luscious juice is date-night divine.

I got this one today and wow, what can I say but two words, 1. Damn. 2. Delicious. It's everything beautifully scented trapped in a bottle. I'm going to edit this one tomorrow after wearing it all night so I can tell you what I think of it thoroughly

i don’t really know much about perfume beyond surface level so this is just my opinion and what my nose feels. i like it, but it somehow feels fresher and “colder” than advertised to me. also reminds me of dried flowers. really nice performance.

By happy accident, I discovered that Alyssa Ashley's Ambre Rouge smells incredibly similar to this release of La Nuit Tresor, albeit slightly softer and smoother. It's a great alternative if you're on a budget! ;)

The beginning is somehwat irritating to me as it`s overpowering sweet due to Lychee. But once it settled it`s amazing. It`s sultry and warm and it keeps on staying on the skin with a light vanilla-patchouli note.

Okay let’s talk about it... i used to hate candied fruits and smokey scent there not my thing i was a floral person and only use pure poison boss femme and those clean scents cus this is my honest taste but ... I can’t say i don’t like hookah scent. when i go to a cafe in jeddah here in Saudi almost everyone goes to cafe smokes hookah and i just melt . how good hookah smells and also vomit sometimes cus i hate tobacco scent but also i like the smokey fruits scents ... soooooo la nuit tresor was a confusing fragrance to me... i like the ambery smokey fruits cus it reminds me of the hookah i used to smell in cafes but also panic attack when I smell the smoke amber it’s just disgusting to me but good in the same time i just don’t know if i like it or not i adore the opening but hate the drydown I don’t know what to say ... 6/10

I bought la nuit tresor without realizing that it had been reformulated. I was looking at the pre-formulation notes (pre-2019) and decided to blind buy based on that. The moment I smelled the perfume I was able to tell that it has been reformulated. I was very disappointed because the sweetness of the original is clearly not present in this one. It is also too weak and only lasts for about 2 - 3 hours on skin. The pre-reformulation version was known for its beast performance and the 2019 version clearly lacks that. It is still a beautiful scent but not worth it since it lacks longevity and depth.

This is such a sweet, young fragrance. I wrote a similar type of review for its fellow flanker, La nuit tresor vanille noire, and I have ended at the same conclusion. This is fabulous if you are in your twenties or teens and you want something a little grown up and sexy but still fruity and fun. However, as I am aging, I feel like it’s time to embrace some more mature scents. As a result, I’ll have to pass on this. This scent is very candy-like and it reminds me of my old signature, Absolutely Blooming Dior.

Sexy, velvety, feminine. I feel like this is a solid blind buy. It's a well-blended mix of a little bit of everything; fruity, floral, gourmand, and just hints of this and that. Projection is pretty decent too. A reliable date-night perfume.

Very good projection and long lasting. Very strong and sweet, at first I loved it but now I find it too heavy. When I smell it on others I sometimes find it a little syrupy and sickening. On me I like it for winter evening occasions.

Chalky candied litchi but the resin held her before turning into a silly scent Apparently Its not my cup of tea but i think its attractive and the opening is nice too but the drydown isn’t for me

Lovely scent. Smells like a vanilla strawberry milkshake. Not for everyday i think and not for evening. Long lasting, sillage is strong but not so strong

Nice, but very different balance of notes than the pre-2019 version. Old LNT was a gourmand, this is a frutchouli.

I'm finding it real hard to find the correct notes for this perfume, on the UK Lancome website the notes listed are: Top Notes: Heart of Black Rose Essence Heart Notes: Vanilla Tahitensis Orchid Absolute Base Notes: Incense, Papyrus Essence and Lychee Praline While on the Italian website are: Top Notes: Papyrus and Lychee Heart Notes: Black Rose Essence Base Notes: Tahitian Vanilla and here on Fragratica are different as well. My version of this perfume seems to be similar to the italian notes listing. I don't know if there are different versions for the two countries. The perfume itself is good, has good sillage and it's very long lasting, there's no need to overspray. The perfume follows the italian note pyramid perfectly. I don't like florals and rose specifically so it's not my kind of perfume. I love the vanille on the base, it's really good, the opening too it's fantastic. It's just that the rose is really sharp and I just can't get myself to like it. The vanille comes out after like 10-12 hours of wear. My mom loves it though. It fits her more but regardless this really is a good perfume, just not my type. It gives a bit of a mature Femme Fatale vibe. But I don't think it's a good fit for someone who is in the early 20s though. This reformulation compared to the old ones seems like it has been oversimplified and on the Lancome website it's full of comments asking to bring back the older formulation. I think this perfume has changed completely from what it was before. It's a completely different thing. It's straight up just a very strong and sharp rose now.
