La Nuit Tresor Edition Limitee

I never expected to add La nuit tresor EDP in my collection. I always wanted Lancome to make my signature so it's present/strong and characterized by quality, but 99% possible to smell it almost everywhere (see La vie est belle EDP). The one I loved to death but now is discontinued (used to it for my favorites perfumes) is Caresse EDP edition. Very similar to the original L'eau DP, but a touch fresher and fruitier. I've read the comments here and I hope this limited edition really doesn't lack the patchouli on it's base. Usually, limited editions bottles released during holidays like Christmas this time and they are just a bit more fancy, juice 100% the same. To be honest I'll stick to the A la folie EDP bottle that I have in my collection. No one can say the original EDP is a bad, boring or ordinary perfume. It's notes are perfectly blended. The only problem to my nose is that it's a bit 'too much'. Hope you can get my point. It's a head turner, I remember myself turning around to see from who this aphrodisiac potion radiates from and my nose was craving for more. Yes, it's a night time & cool weather perfume but I would use it only during some more...personal moments if you get my point. Now that time has passed, I can assure everyone it's the exact same as the original, patchouli is present but maybe fragrantica forgot to add it. So many notes, just excuse the one who's responsible to list everything on the site. Also, I can assure you that the perfume faced a silent reformulation. You still buy LNT EDP, it smells so identical to what you're used to, it's just a tad less strong. At least Lancome stays loyal to their customers. Anyway, my feelings are still mixed. I like smelling it on others but not that much on me. It feels so unique and at the same time a bit overly done, yet it's perfect. You can smell almost everything, mouth-watering tangerine, a juicy but soft pear, freshness of bergamot, passionfruit & litchi are the starts of the creation, can't detect rose or orchid that I find synthetic, coumarin/tonka bean that gives this dark & vanillic vibes, the smokiness from incense, not very sure about liquorice but coffee is somewhere hidden in the symphony. Caramel & praline? Sorry but I don't get them the way I can tell you that this perfume is based on them or called a gourmand because of them. To end with, it's a perfume for someone 30+, not a girly personality, for sure an easy blind buy or present for anyone. My feelings are still mixed, perfectly blended exactly as the notes of the perfume.

This perfume is amazing and elegant, I immediately fell in love with it and I bought it as fast as possible because it is truly that nice, even my family like it a lot mind you that we all have a different preferences when it comes to perfume. not only that but people asked me what perfume I wear. this is my current favorite. I like lancome's perfume in general I admire it.

Those limited editions are almost ALWAYS the exact same formulation. I wonder why Fragrantica helps in marketing fragrances by using different notes than the original? result: People buy these and imagine them being different. I saw that happening with for example The One. Silly, really. Ok, fine another bottle is ok, just stop pretending is a new version, please!

There's no patchouli listed here and patchouli was the only thing ruining la nuit tresor for a lot of people If it's really a patchouli-less version of la nuit it would be amazing,I wish it becomes available here because I'm really dying for trying it
