La Nuit Trésor Fleur de Nuit

I LOVE THIS. Sweet and feminine. I've had my eye on this perfume for quite a long time after running out of Miss Dior, my previous signature scent. While I knew this is more of a special occasion fragrance, and shouldn't be worn daily, I couldn't help but find myself reaching out for it in the morning, and still smelling it on my skin at night, before taking a shower. I do enjoy that it doesn't stick that much to clothes, maybe a little to the hair. It's elegant and girly without being too "out there"; in fact, while it does have great sillage, it's still quite intimate. The rose notes are what convinced me to buy this fragrance, as I'm a sucker for it, and also the patchouli, which isn't as sharp as I thought it would be. The accords blend in very well as the jasmine brings everything togheder. To be completely fair, I didn't know about the macchiato note until I saw it listed here. It's not like I didn't notice it, I just thought it was vanilla. Also, the drydown can be a little powdery, but not too much, just enough to differentiate it from the opening. Overall, a beautiful perfume and a safe blind buy, however I can't say for certain if it is the best out of the "La Nuit Trésor" line. !Note: I layered this with "Black Orchid" by Tom Ford once and I was pleasantly surprised.

This is the perfume I wear during any sort of special occasion. It was a gift from my aunt and I do have to say I'm quite pleased with it. While I find the initial scent a bit nauseatingly sweet, floral, and intense, the dry down is really beautiful on me, becoming a softer, sexier sweet floral. This perfume makes me feel super hot. The intimate silage also helps it feel like a more sensual perfume, definitely for a nighttime setting. While it's hard to identify as coffee, the machiatto note is rather prevalent, though I never really pick up on the whipped cream. The florals do a lot of heavy lifting. I love mixing this with simpler rose fragrances in order to amplify the silage and it blends with them beautifully. Overall, if you love sweet florals, I'd definitely try it out, though you might find other similar perfumes for a better price point.

I just received the Intense version of this fragrance that I ordered online, I am absolutely blown away! I never knew that there was an intense version, where have I been? Lol, The cherry, almond and vanilla notes mixed with La Nuit DNA is so delicious, I can’t stop smelling my wrist. The projection is a 10! Longevity, is about 9hrs on the skin and lasts on my clothes until the next day. anyway.. I cannot wait for this version to be available for me to purchase. Some fragrances are a hit or miss for me, but with a Lancome, they can never do me wrong! I love them all :)

It is a light, sweet, floral, with a bit of vanilla scent. Although I do enjoy stronger sweet scents for the night such as La nuit Trésor à la Folie, this one is perfectly suitable as an option for daytime. I personally love this over La Nuit Trésor Intense or Nude, since it is way softer and not that harsh in sweetness, which sometimes can get irritating after wearing the perfume for quite some time.

very romantic and dreamy, sweet florals with sweet latte that makes it all creamy and amazing. I feel like black opium smells almost like messy with the coffee and heavy white florals and orange blossom. this is not at all like that, i get why people think its similar, and it is yet so different

It’s so sweet yall 😻 I have gotten so so many compliments and it.lasts.so.long! It’s so strong at first but if u let it sit for a few mins it kinda changes and smells like sweet vanilla flowers. If you like really sweet frangrances then this is definitely for you!!

This perfume is a masterpiece! It is as complex a perfume should be. Sweet in a chic, not teenager way, and creamy! I find myself smelling my wrist all the time! I only wish it had better sillage and for sure that it wouldn't be discontinued.. (sad for that..)

Really loved the smooth and creamy first impression. What I truly appreciate though is the depth and the longevity of it, rose and macchiato go perfectly together creating an elegant mysteriousness. Very alluring.

A tuberose very well done which is rare, with some subtle milky sweet coffee notes in the background, otherwise LNT dna preserved. Never disappoints. Absolute love 💕.

It seems like this never really launched in my country, and I have only been able to spot in a few places online, often sold out or overpriced.I tried this for the first time, last summer on holiday in spain. I couldn't findt it in any stores around me, but today I finally have it in my collection. So this review is based on only having tried it twice and worn it once. This does stay true to the original and it's flanker. Especially in the opening. On the skin the drydown is different though. It looses some of that OG dna, gets a little more powdery and smokey and lactonic, but in a milky sandalwood way, not a whipped cream way. On clothes it retains more of the notes from the opening. I don't find it similar to black opium, I cannot stand black opium, so I am happy to not see the resemblance. I do get some of the coffee, especially in the first few hours, but then the note becomes very faint. I have tested a few coffee fragrances before, and I honestly think that I wouldnt have been able to pick out the coffee note, if I hadn't smelled it before in other coffee fragrances. I like this perfume, it differs enough from the rest of the flankers to warrant a spot in my collection. I love the slightly powdery, smokey drydown. It does however seem to not be as potent as some of the others, but it's too early to say, from just wearing it once.

I have most of the La Nuit Tresor line and this is one of my favourites (along with A La Folie, the EDT and the Intense). I'm more of a gourmand girlie and the addition of coffee and cream in this make it quite appealing. I have a few Black Opium flankers but the white florals in those ruin a lot of them for me. Thankfully the Fleur de Nuit sticks to rose, I don't pick up the tuberose and the jasmine seems to add to the creaminess. The patchouli is quite strong in this, so if you don't like patchouli you've been warned! It's not a dirty patch but nor is it as earthy or gourmand as some patchoulis (Kayali's Vanilla Royale has my favourite patchouli). This flanker is very clearly from the La Nuit Tresor line. It's not a big departure like the Nude or A La Folie flankers. It's warm and a bit cosy but still quite strong. Depending on your preferences this might be more of a night time scent as it's missing those lighter fruity notes from the EDT, Musc and Nude versions. I think this version is moreso for collectors, I don't think it will be sticking around on tje market too long. All in all a good release. Was it needed? No. Am I glad to have it? Sure 😊

I love this line, not sure why all the hate for flankers. I think the point is: if you like the OG the variations are a nice bonus. There were almost 4500 new perfume releases last year, you can find something you like without bashing flankers. But negativity reigns these days. Sorry, rant over, lol. This is a creamy sweet La Nuit Tresor with a hint of coffee. Lovely for comfort, for bed, for snuggling with loved ones. It's sexy and comforting, depending on how you feel at the moment. It doesn't smell like a Black Opium flanker to me. I like some of the BO flankers as well, so that's not a dig. It's just that the coffee in that one is more a part of its identity, the creamy coffee drink in this one is a supporting note adding to that lovely rose. Sweet, yes, but not any sweeter than any other gourmand. Flankers don't change the perfume world, but that's kinda the point. Wear what you like, happiness is too fleeting these days to worry over what some negative Nelly thinks of your choice. ;)

I just received mine today. It is a softer (like a lot softer) version of a mix between the original LNT and A La Folie. It is heavily sweet (not in a bad way) and has that milky coffee note which is why some may think it smells like black opium, but I think otherwise. The LNT DNA does play around in the background. I also get some soapiness in the dry down, the patchouli is not strong and the fragrance remains sweet all throughout. Overall, I like it. I just wished it was as powerful and long-lasting as the original. Projection-wise, it reminds me of Musc Diamant which, although beautiful, does not have the best projection out of all the flankers, if you’re familiar with the LNT line. But this might be me being unfair to Fleur de Nuit, as the original is the longest-lasting perfume I have owned to date. On the other hand, if you think the original is too strong, then this might be the one for you.

It smells like a cake in the best way possible! It's a strong fragrance but it doesn't cause headaches, it's very pleasant.

Roses with a latte dry down. Beautiful, better for cold days, I like it more than the original flanker.

reminds black opium glitter with more longevity

Received my 30 ml bottle few days ago. I would say I expected more from this new flanker. Upon the first spray I was covered with cloying sweetness (probably from the cream and macciato) and did not detect any of the other notes from the pyramide. Also, this strongly reminded me of Black Opium, which I find quite boring. For me this was "meh". Now, after several applications, things are getting better and I am starting to like this scent. Not love, just like. Still very sweet, but now I do detect the white flowers, jasmine and tuberose. Nice. Longevity - medium (6-7 hours on me) This flanker goes in a different direction, compared with the others from the LNT serie. Worth testing, although I find it too generic. Probably I will keep it, for now.

I was so excited to try this year's flanker but it was a bit underwhelming. It's a pleasant soft perfume, in which you can smell the DNA of the original Tresor la Nuit, but there are white flowers added. It doesn't remind me of Black Opium (which I love, along with most of its flankers). Tresor la Nuit fleur de nuit is ok but not exciting and original enough for me to own. In comparison, last year's Tresor la Nuit Intense was richer and more interesting. Of course, fragrances are a subjective experience, so this is just my opinion :-)

The floral whipped cream sweetness is pretty, but nothing innovative, can easily be mistaken for some other perfumes.

I just couldn't help myself and not buying 3 little vials on a great deal, just to test it on skin. What a disappointment! You will tell me, tell us something new, but I haven't reviewed the way I did a perfume the last 3 years. With passion, trying to understand all it's notes with time, the inspiration behind it, use it in different occasions, seasons etc. I will tell it once again, since I already expressed my anger for the 'watered' down new releases perfumes. From the moment that Lancome reformulated THE perfume with the nuclear sillage & lasting power (LNT l'eau de parfum & LVEB EDP) and L'oreal became the leader (to Armani perfumes too) I lost any hope I might have. The only house of perfumes that stayed loyal to it's customers no matter what is Chanel. Why it still sells, why it's perfumes don't face any kind of reformulation like new bottle-same perfume or same name-different perfume? I don't know how, but it does it with great success. I remember buying the A la folie when they discontinued my favorite Caresse EDP edition with the idea that I must have a La nuit tresor bottle in my collection as Lancome creates masterpieces with great performance. In the beginning I didn't appreciate it because it reminded me more of an Armani Code's new flanker (my nose started recognizing perfumers now because in reality I didn't know about L'oreal's plans). Then, after 2 years the bottle started smelling like 'nothing' in the opening. Almost all top and middle notes got blind and what is left was a faint base vanillic ending. Perfect! That's why they discontinued even A la folie (I thought). You can't sell something that can't survive in the bottle for more than a year. Later on, I was impressed with the ad of Musc Diamnd thinking that for sure one edition will become my must, but no...again the same story. Weak, without character perfumes that after a while they disappear. Nude was another slap on the face. So generic and coconut-y that almost made me sick. What do we have as an option now? A weaker La nuit tresor EDP that soon will disappear for good or it will become with years weaker than a body mist. A La nuit tresor INTENSE (intense in your dreams, to me it smells like a weak 'sweet mess' perfume type that expired) that is a faint-sweet-almond milk perfume. I forgot to tell you that they launched it as a 'limited edition' (same story for the newest Fleur de nuit) something that give them the right to stop it anytime they want. I know this page supposed to be for Fleur de nuit but I just can't stop expressing myself through fragrantica. I feel really bad for the people they never smelled in the air or tried the very first formulation of LNT EDP. Believe it or not I used to hate it, now I am in the right age/point that I can and I appreciate it. So, Fleur de nuit is the only flanker similar to the 'original' EDP that is like a flanker of a flanker. I can't say that is as white floral or as 'coffee' enough as I expected to be. There's a nice/interesting sweetness (the mirabilis note I guess) that could be the 'whipped cream' effect but Z&V rocked it way better with This is her EDP. I feel the need to say sorry for the 3rd time and for the such long review/negative thoughts, but I can't find anything nice or impressive to share.

This will be my 3rd and last review about it. Ladies & gentleman, attention please. Yesterday I thought about it. From the moment L'oreal bought Lancome-Emporio Armani-Valentino-Mugler, all you buy is just the same perfume that's 'on trend' with some different notes. Sometimes I wanna cry when I think about reformulations, discontinuations, Arabian or niche perfumes trying to steal the show but enough is enough!!! Here, Lancome...I mean L'oreal is trying to sell the forgotten Tresor EDP by just adding the typical jasmine/sweet/vanilla mess in the composition, in a very nice bottle. The same stands for Valentino Donna Born in Roma Intense (if this is intense, I am the new prime minister). Have you ever smelled the original Tresor that gives powdery-peachy-warm vibes? If not, just wait and smell the dry down of Fleur de nuit. Do I have to say more? First you release a 'limited edition' perfume that hasn't the wow effect for what? To tell us we're fool and that we will spend our money to buy something 'new' that isn't new and soon will disappear from the market? We know it, we're perfume addicts but enough with this game. Recently, the word disappointment is what describes the situation the best. I spend so much money on Valentino Born in Roma Intense because I was amazed of the lasting power on clothes and the balmy dark vanilla that somehow reminded me the discontinued La nuit tresor A la folie (oh-oh...the perfumes are the same) and I ended up with an 'intense' perfume that performs like a Victoria's Secret body mist. I feel like a fool that I didn't buy the original Born in Roma, but again is it worthy to spend so much money for the dry down of a perfume? The song comes in mind is one from Meredith Brooks. "I am a little bit of everything, all rolled into one...". Can't write the name of it, you know why ;) Pfff, I am so sorry, this supposed to be a place where we can share our feelings and thoughts freely, but at the same time I feel like I am wasting time. The best perfume from Lancome, La nuit tresor EDP was reformulated and soon will be discontinued. We end up with thousands of new editions/flankers that are discontinued already. What's the existence reason of Fleur de nuit? It's funny and I am sorry for the word I choose, but it is, to see people new in perfumerie saying: "Oh it reminds me or it's the same like YSL's Black Opium."..."Oh I can detect the macchiato coffee." (I want to close your eyes bring in front of you a milky coffee, a cappuccino and a macchiato and if you dare to fail finding the macchiato guess what happens...I mean Jesus. I give up. Just keep your eyes opened and don't be a fool, demand what you deserve and don't be a victim!

First you make your masterpiece, La nuit tresor EDP less complex. Then you discontinue A la folie, for Caresse EDP I am not going to comment because most of you hadn't the chance to try it. Then, you release the 'Intense' version that has nothing to do with the original nor with the word intensity. To me it was a sweet mess that anyone could fool me by telling me it's a celebrity or a perfume of the drugstore. Lancome, please make your mind up! Thank God you didn't discontinue your no.1 top selling perfume but when you release something 'new', at least be honest. La nuit tresor is all about the seduction, caramel/patchouli, incense, litchi. A dark, aphrodisiac, gourmandise diamond. A floral 'blah' edition isn't what we need. I am sure my comment will be deleted because truth hurts but I am also sure people who love quality will understand me. Thanks.

To think that I wasted my birthday wish on THIS... But it's my fault, I didn't read the reviews first, I saw the notes and was immediately hooked. Now I realise what a mistake it was and that I should have choose Black Opium Le parfum instead. But I was so loyal to the whole diamond line, that I just didn't think twice about it. well, at least it looks good... 😏 I don't think I even have to rant about why it's so disappointing, people below got it pretty well. It's generic and weak af basically

More floral than the OG LNT. A bit fruity and it's light. And has vanilla which gives some sweetness. See the issue? Fruity sweet light floral - the typical designer fragrance these days. BORINGGGGG. Especially from this line. I am extremely disappointed. The lasting power is horrible too. I have LNT à la Folie and that one outlasts this so easily. And they discontinued à la Folie for this? Unbelievable.

I do realize this is probably me-problem, but I'm just somehow nose blind to this. I get nothing! I had to sell it, it was a huge disappointment because I chose it as a birthday gift. It's insane to me that they would discontinue a La Folie and release this.

Ugh.. we already have 10 flankers of Black Opium that smell identical. Why do we require another one? It's just sickeningly sweet.

Oh dear (sigh) ... They really wanted to make a Lancome coffee scent ... to rival the bestseller from YSL, or to be more precise, to rival the Extreme version of the bestseller? I guess it's kind of understandable, in the sense of companies forever copying one another, to have their share of the market ... but still. I have all the La nuit Tresors (except the Christmas editions of the original that came out in 2016/18) and unfortunately this is the worst of the lot. This is a very dry coffee scent with some flashes of florals. Projection is moderate and the same goes for longevity. They really quit A la folie, but pushed this to the market? Some say they quit Nude as well and I repeat, put this on the market? Totally incomprehensible. If you're into dry coffee scents, maybe you should, you know, just get the original; Black Opium Extreme.

Surprisingly I love it so much! I’m a huge fan of the classic la Nuit Trésor, I tried many flankers such as à la Folie - very nice but too strong on benzoin for my taste, Nude - not crazy about coconut, Intense - very pleasant but not to die for. This? It’s lovely to me. It opens up with La Nuit Trésor original and it develops into a wonderful creamy and balmy scent that certainly sticks to La Nuit DNA, plus creamy white and sweet florals. It reminds me of the cocooning effect of Killian Rolling in Love and this type of scents, but better to me. I guess it suits my skin very well and I don’t own any other scent like this in my collection. As usual, try before you buy because so many people expressed disappointment in regards to this scent, but to me, and I’m extremely picky, it’s beautiful and very sensual. Excellent longevity as well.

This reminds me of a more refined Black Opium Le Parfum with a reminiscence of LNT A La Folie. Fleur de Nuit’s patchouli is warmer and better blended than BOLP. Fleur de Nuit is more floral than BOLP, I think that’s the nod to a la Folie I’m sensing. Fleur de Nuit doesn’t project as well as the OG LNT but honestly, none of these flankers do. It will be good for closer encounters where you want allure, sweetness and mystery without overwhelming your lover. I have a travel size of Black Opium Le Parfum and decided to get a full bottle of Fleur de Nuit. I don’t feel you need both but FDN is my preference bc of the richness of its notes. It’s just a bit denser and more compact. Overall, very happy with my purchase and willing to offer a few 5 or 10ml decants. Message me for details to my Mercari.

I have many flankers, Lancôme being a House I love and cherish. Among the Nuit Tresor line, my favorite are :"A la Folie", the "Nude" and the "Nuit Tresor Intense" that I actually enjoy. I had high hope for this one. Glad I only got samples. The floral opening is boring and short lived, leaving a fainted dusty- powdery coffee latte behind. Performance is weak, and so is the sillage. I an not buying flankers anymore only because the bottle is beautiful. PASS. Disappointed big time!

Lovely opening, but the dry down gave me such strong vibes of Britney’s Private Show. Fleur de Nuit has a deeper rosey-floraly note to it, but whiffs of it every now and then definitely do remind me of Private Show a lot! I guess that means I can def smell the macchiato note of Fleur de Nuit in the dry down, which arrives pretty quickly I must say :) Can hardly smell the patchouli. Def faaaaaar from a beast mode fragrance, nothing unique but pretty for what it is nonetheless.

Soo sultry and sweet, rich and sugary and feminine, mmm just try it! I'm going to have to save up to buy this one some day <3 It's a romantic fragrance and (to me) reminiscent of anniversaries and surprises. What starts out as a burst of delicate rose turns into a luxurious flower garden with a downright edible element that entirely encompasses the drydown. My nose is just glued to my skin for those delicious base notes!

I am not sure why this has so many negative reviews, I find this really pretty! Reviewing the original tresor, I only liked the opening, and found the incense strong in the drydown. This one remains pleasant. I prefer my fragrances on the softer side, and this is leans a little in that direction. The macchiato note smells really good. Sure this isn't something unique or 1 in a Million, but its beautiful none the less.

Very very gentle, very feminine. It smells like a dream: you have a large rose garden next to your victorian castle, you go there to read books, animals visit as if you're a Disney princess. You enjoy your coffee with cream, there, tiramisu on the side. You're wearing a soli floral perfume (tuberose). Your soft fleeting white dress is long, long sleeved and buttoned up. Voila!

Very, very sweet. I don’t think I can put too much emphasis on how sugary this is. Smells like you were wearing La Nuit Tresor Nude and spilled a sugary macchiato all over yourself. It is pretty close to the discontinued Black Opium Nuit Blanche if you are looking for a replacement. It’s soft, SWEET, creamy and coffee heavy if you are into that sort of thing.

This is less sacharine sweet than the original La Nuit Tresor, and the macchiato and rose notes provide an interesting but delicious waft. Unfortunately, this almost immediately became a very soft close-to-the-skin scent with no projection, and it's not in that category of "skin scents" for me so I'll pass.

Beast mode, lasts for hours, so powerful, all around. Beautiful. Reeminds me of all the previous ones. The best in very cold weather, but that depends on one's taste. It is too sugary sweet for my liking, however, I would be able to enjoy it in very cold weather- I am talking 10 Celsius and anything below.

Well I like it. Its creamier and more chic than the original one! Can’t detect any specific white flowers or coffee but I really do appreciate it since it’s not that similar to the OG

@ ozlemmenguloglu unfortunately not, à la folie has benzoin and red berries in the dry down... Fleur de Nuit is la Nuit Tresor with white flowers and creamy dry down.

Too much Black Opium in Tresor... No tuberose... Very sweet and for me a little bit syntethic... Not bad but I prefer A’la Folie and Classic one

Basically a legere/diet version of Black Opium, which I love and prefer over this release.
