La Nuit Trésor Le Parfum

Personally I am failing to see how others are comparing this to the original or A La Folie, this fragrance really stands on its own as being quite distinctive! To me, it's a thick and syrupy blackcurrant 'nectar', for lack of a better word, without ever being cloying or overtly sweet. The rose DNA is still there, the only through-line of the many variations, however I don't necessarily interpret this as a rose-forward fragrance. It lingers in the background, and in combination with the cacao and patchouli, creates a beautiful backdrop for the fruit to take centre stage. As with most, if not all of the LNT line, it is incredibly smooth and well blended. The only sharpness I find belongs to the bottle design, which to me, is pure perfection. [Personal topic] - Unfortunately I am currently in the middle of a very messy end to a long running relationship, and I have always used fragrances to help with managing my moods and emotions. There is just something about this scent that is almost polarising - it's powerful yet doesn't scream for attention. It's playful without feeling 'immature'. It has been really helping me in such a negative time of my life, and I am truly thankful to have this little treasure. This scent will now always conjure feelings of empowerment and self confidence ❤️

I've just returned from a trip to South America and I FINALLY saw this little beauty there and got to sample it (I live in New Zealand)... and I loved it! It was everything I wanted the La Nuit Tresor Intense to be, but more grown-up, gourmand, and long-lasting. For reference, I used to own the original (flanker) La Nuit Tresor edp, but it tired me out, as it was too strong, overpowering, and just a tad old-fashioned for my taste. In fact, I own the entire line, and my faves are A la Folie (which I still own, but hardly wear), and Caresse (which is discontinued, as you know). However, I'm on a strict budget so I didn't buy it in South America, as it was super expensive, and I was bordering "overweight" status luggage-wise. To my surprise, in the 4 weeks I was away, La Nuit Tresor Le Parfum was now stocked by a discounted retailer, and I just got my little 50ml bottle! To conclude, diehard lovers of the og La Nuit, might not love it, as it's not nearly as potent or complex enough, and it's also quite cocoa/chocolatey (a departure from og)... but for us who love a good rosey/choco gourmand, and who don't want our fragrance to "wear us" this is perfect! A solid 6-8 hours (depending on skin moisturization) of wear, and strong projection for at least the first 4 hours. J'adore!

Every time I go shopping I go into the shop and I put this on to test it. The only reason I havent bought it is price. It is beautiful but I’m not paying that much for perfume when Middle Eastern fragrances are just as good and I can buy four for the price of this. I am really surprised the notes are so simple but the journey is basically what you smell. It has that fruity sweetness but not too sweet-it’s not La Vie Est Belle sweet and thank god cos I think that it’s foul. It’s a fresh sweet. Then it mixes with the floral and that balances it out. When I wad walking today with it on, it had dried down for about 30 mins or so, and the wind hit me and blew it in my face and it smelled darker and that was the patchouli. It’s like incense but not full blown Nag Champa. It’s just a hint of darkness. I associate black with this perfume, despite its sweetness. It’s like princess of darkness vibes. She’ll kiss you and then drain your blood 😂 Anyway, if anyone wants to buy me it, you’re welcome to. In the meantime, I’ll just keep nipping into Frasers and spraying it! Update: I now own it. I was bought it for my birthday. It’s beautiful and long lasting. It’s fruity but dark fruity. Worth a buy.

The cacao is very creamy all thanks to the black currant. I honestly forgot about this perfume in my drawer. Bought it sometime and it took forever to deliver. It has sat for close to 9 months now. the original edp lacks maturity, just playful and crowd pleasing but this Le parfum flanker? Omg! Usually, I find floral-fruity scents very youthful and not for me but I love this so much. Dry down gives this warm chocolatey vibes dripped in fruity bowl of rose and earthy patchouli. I’m loving it. It lasts 4 hours on me. I’m not mad about that owing to the fact that I snug a 100ml bottle at a give away price that was too good to be true. A lot of people seem not to like it but it’s the only flanker I like. I learned that it has been discontinued. I’m happy I have a full bottle. Edit: I remember sampling the OG from a reputable seller on eBay. There was really nothing unique in my nose. Same floral-fruity flavor like everything else.

#FirstImpressions This is my love at first sniff. The opening is juicy sweet blackcurrant along with that signature jammy rose DNA of La Nuit Tresor. The Cacao adds a warm cozy chocolatey vibe and the patchouli helps to balance all the notes together and to make it more classy and mysterious. I couldn't help but to keep sniffing my wrist even after 4 hours of spraying this. It's really seductive and alluring. It leaves a beautiful Scent trail and its perfect for night time. I received a travel size recently as a gift. Now I can't wait to get the full bottle ❤️

Horrible! I love the Tresor la Nuit line and collect & adore them but this one I don't see buy myself ever - totally letdown! It smells very unpleasant, screechy and synthetic. I get some kind of screechy synthetic blackcurrant candy which is not even delicious or gourmand. I get no cocoa whatsoever, which is a shame because I love cocoa note in perfumes. The notes clash together, they are not well blended, everything is just a big synthetic unpleasant mess. Pass 👎🏻🤦🏼♀️

I definitely feel the cacao the most. Rich, dark and sweet but not too overpowering. Not a summer or hot weather fragrance. I’ve been eyeing this fragrance for a while now and sprayed this on my sweatshirt on the store 5 days ago and could smell it for very long time but the incredible part is that I washed my sweatshirt in the washing machine for 1h at 60 degrees and I still can smell the perfume after wearing my sweatshirt today. Crazy.

I have collected most of them, previously my favorite was a la foliè, now it’s this one with a worm, cozy chocolate 🍫 accord, it’s gourmand-ish and I want to fall a sleep with it, wake up with it and smell it all day and night, it’s a straight up LOVE ❤️ for me! A la foliè was a bit fruitier bud still not sticky...well Beastmode and love!

@Serayyaren: La Nuit Tresor Le Parfum is not similar to Tresor L'absolu from 2013. The latter is a spicier more vanillic version of the original Tresor EdP from 1990 whereas La Nuit Tresor Le Parfum is similar to the original LNT EdP with a dark rose deliciously surrounded by sour blackcurrant and not too sweet cacao.

I was very pleasantly surprised today after testing this new release. A thick velvety dark rose blooms here, enveloped by cacao (not too sweet) and patchouli. The black currant lingers in the background and gives a tart fruity twist. Well done Lancome! This is by far my favorite of the entire LNT line.

I've tried today. Completely fell in love ♥️♥️♥️♥️ Is amazing fragrance, even better than the original. Nowadays is very rare a flanker beat the original but very well done this version. Unfortunately the price is very high 😕 Is also sad don't have a bigger size, just 50ml.

The perfume has only been out for a year and it has already been discontinued? I don't understand... At least they used to last longer before being discontinued!! The eau de parfum and parfum versions, which are the main ones, should stay around forever...

Deep dark. Good omen scent. A dark healer in a village that is sensual. Spicy smell that reminds me of grape. Good heavy gothic smell. A gift from my boyfriend which I adore very much. Recommend for all dark lovers. This is a deep smell though not light:)

STUNNING perfume! I love it, it's like a richer, sultrier version of Black Opium, and it also reminds me of another longtime favorite, Armani's original Si.

How can you not LOVE this perfume. Smells rich, seductive and just a scent of THAT woman. Absolutely obsessed, annoyed that it is discontinued.

A big like. I've already placed my order :) Very much the way I remember my first contact with La Nuit Trésor the pillar. I loved it, but the base was a bit too much for me. I still don't have it but a little army of flankers... Here, the weight is similar, yet better balanced. My sample card states blackberry in the top notes, not black currant, and I agree though the fruit drowns in the noble damascena rose absolute and in the darkness of the base. And the rose makes it fit for a day in gloomy weather. It is so feminine and charming that it elevates the scent above just evening wear. It shines and overcomes the heaviness, leaving the trail alluring, warm and powdery. The cocoa note is fleshy and true to the bitter powder. It balances the sweetness of the rose absolute. Not to mention that I love the velvet ribbon detail. It fits the scent. For a long time I was unmoved by La Nuit Trésor flankers after buying a few I don't really wear, but this one recaptured me. It has medium sillage not exceeding my arm length, which is why if this is your signature for colder months it can be worn to work. I surely would not mind wafts of it during working hours in cold weather. I feel noble woods in the base apart from cocoa. The scent invites you to go out on a date. Lasts and lasts, 8 hours in and I catch wafts of it. The trail is like the pillar's at this point, dense, sweet, woody, salty, vanilla. You don't need both, imo. But the rose, the rose that starts to shine after an hour of wear and lasts long during the day...this stage is special. If you love the lush absolute of rose then this is your La Nuit Trésor to buy. The far dry-down reminds me of the dry-down of La Vie Est Belle. After 10 hours I detect patchouli. On the skin it lingers till next morning sounding quite delicious, roses and almonds with hints of caramel. Lovely. It is a strong scent. You can feel it on all the time at an arm length. It is a rare feature.

Like all perfumes, it does need to be sprayed and then let sit, even a week or two works wonders. I like this line, like the DNA and still I've had to put away the last two (Intense and Fleur de Nuit) for at least a few months. It seems like companies aren't letting these new perfume releases sit long enough to "gel" thus ensuring if a person gets a bad first impression, it's over. That's a shame. The above two have now blended nicely, giving me different options with this line but still with the DNA (go to perfume finder here on Fragrantica to find the full list of notes, or the official website) I love. This one I liked from the box, gives me a bit of Dentelle de Roses (the black current or cassias note), but I'm sure it'll change over the course of a few months. I like it and enjoy wearing even now, so I'm curious to see how it'll round out. I will say the only one I don't like in this line is Nude. I'm just not a coconut note fanatic, but those who do love that note rave about it. Oh, I don't find this one masculine, not to my nose, but cocoa can lean masculine for some. Example: CH Good Girl, leans masculine to me bc of the prominent cocoa note. Everyone has different a different olfactory experience, though. I hope if you like this line, you'll give it a chance if you can, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

This is such an effortless everyday fragrance and a compliment getter! The black currant opening bears a faint resemblance to Amethyst by Lalique. Except it’s incomparably better executed in Trésor - it feels much more natural here and not synthetic like in Amethyst. Once the black currant note settles a bit, the scent transforms into something that I can only describe as a powdery, delicate sister of Alien by Mugler. I know, blasphemy! And yet, as a long time Alien lover (it used to be my signature scent for over a decade), I do detect strange kinship between the two. Alien is the intimidating, weird one, Trésor is the introverted, bookish one. After a couple hours, the cocoa and patchouli come to the forefront, and the powdery note is replaced with smooth, dark deliciousness. This is what ultimately made me love this fragrance. I think it could be even better if these two notes were a bit more prominent and punchy. But I can appreciate the subtlety of the blend, too. It’s a cozy, delicious and maybe even somewhat nostalgic and contemplative scent. Makes me think of staying at home on a cloudy, rainy day and reading an old dusty book while sipping on some warm tea with a fluffy cocoa cake at the side.

I just received a sample for the purchase of LVEB L'elixir (which made me fall madly in love at the first sniff) As a self-confessed lover of the LA NUIT line, I honestly expected more, much much more from this version wrongly named "PARFUM", a name it does not deserve in the slightest. I don't want to be taken in the wrong way, so I'll clarify right away, the aroma is very rich, sweet, cozy and elegant, worthy of Tresor's night line, BUT I expected more, at least a little more sillage and projection, it is very soft, powdery vanilla and with hints of faint roses. Although I must admit that it has the ability to take my nose and memory back to the past, with the beautiful aroma of the original La Nuit Tresor (not the shame that resulted in the 2019 reformulation) which helps me a little, to not be so upset with the softness of this perfume, if only it were a little stronger, it would be a beautiful consolation for those who miss the original formula. So at least this version can easily be associate with the line it belongs to, something that doesn't always happen to me with the latest launches of this French house, which trying to innovate, is kicking out each of its old "jewels".

Well, what can I say about this perfume. On first application it opens with sour berries, I would even say such a sour berry wine or blackcurrant tincture. After it opens up a bit, there is a bittersweet cocoa scent mixed with a moderate berry sourness. After a few hours, when the fragrance completely "settles" on the skin, there is only the aroma of blackcurrant with barely perceptible notes of cocoa and rose somewhere far in the background. The fragrance is not bad, but I personally did not fall in love with it, nor did I get particularly vivid associations and the desire to buy a full-size bottle.

This is bizarre. When I smelled the nozzle I was instantly reminded of af an older perfume. Then it hit me : A*Men from Mugler ! No kidding...and no wonder - the notes are very similar. I have now worn it several times. To my nose I get echoes of A*Men/ Angel and Angel Innocent....somewhere between those three. I do not make a connection to La Vie Est Belle at all. I really enjoy it, but because of it's strength I suggest one spray, preferrably on your clothes. That's how it works best for me.

I think it's a good release. A flanker of the original, it's separate enough to own both scents in your collection. I feel that the first two hours are full of ..blueberries (not black currant as advertised). It doesn't seem overflowing and imho a solid release. Not enough for me to buy at full retail price, but I may grab a bottle when it hits the discounters.

A lot of Rose and Patchouli and sweetness. There is the original dna for sure, but it thicker, deeper. I am enjoying it. If you love fragrances like Attrape Reves by LV, this is a must try. Lancome has lately been very surprisingly good at few newest releases, Good Job Lancome.

No flanker has yet equaled the original, first Tresor. This scent is pleasant, very sweet, almost cloying. It somewhat reminds me of a similar relationship between Opium and its younger siblings. Nice to smell, but it doesn't stay in memory like the original...

Just got around to trying it. It is nice but it's exactly what I thought it's going to be- not better than the original. This pulls more woody than the original, but still very reminiscent of it. This just seems unnecessary.. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be some potent version of the original or an attempt for a special flanker because it's neither. It's pretty, fruity, sweet.. but the original (and many of it's flankers) are already all of that. I guess I don't get why not give the original a modern re-brand if you want more money, because quite honestly it's becoming underrated while being one of the best designer gourmands of the 2010s (and even the reformulation isn't that bad). But back to this perfume lol.. Go for the original and get this if you're a collector of bottles

Personally, I find this perfume polarizing. I also find this quite mature. It has this elegance in it but I don't really find this sexy. It's not a people pleaser so it is really up to one's own preference. Hence, this should not be bought blindly. It's a little powdery as well and it smells better after a few minutes of spraying it. I would still consider this a strong, overpowering scent leaning towards sophistication than seduction.

Dry cocoa powder with a dark blackcurrant jam note that sweetens as it dries down. This scent restrains itself unlike the original that hits every chord in your brain. This one just gives a hint but doesn’t go all the way. TLDR: get the original and leave all the flankers.

I ordered wrongly - it was supposed to be the EDP version. I still gave this a try for a few says. It opens with grapes with cacao, but dries down to a little trees car freshener scent.

Smells just the the og 2019 LNT but the vanilla is creamer and more prominent also less chalky litchi but cloying

As an (ex) devoted fan of La Nuit Tresor line, couldnt wait and ordered 30 ml bottle of the new Le Parfum from official Lancome site. This one was the first from the line, which I sold almost immediately (the same day I received it). Maybe it is not that bad, a lot of perfume fans around me like it a lot. For me, however, it was synthetic bomb, resembling very much the 2019 version, but more synthetic :) And this blackcurrant-cocoa combo note did not cope with my skin chemistry at all. Test before buying, is my advice. For me, I will continue using my La Nuit Tresor 2019 and Dentelle de Roses, and I promise myself, next year I will skip the new LNT flanker.

I was enjoying the beautiful, dark, jammy scent, when all of a sudden... It hit me- the ammonia note. It's so sharp and strong that it becomes impossible to enjoy what this creation was meant to be. If I understand correctly, this is the smell black currant sometimes has in fragrances, and in this case it's definitely not the good kind. I think the concept of this fragrance is amazing; therefore I'll continue my persuit of something similar- but unfortunately, I'll have to leave this one behind.

Smelled no cacao in it. The fragrance smell too bad. And I realised after smelling so many fragrances from this house that I just don’t like them because they tend to make fragrance that are plasticky and overly sweet without any character to it.

If you have OG, you don't need this one.

I'll begin with: The masterpiece LNT (EDP) was reformulated around 2019. Not many people know it, but you should be informed. I won't start with how disappointed I am with reformulations, discontinuations or even better quality reductions. Keep in mind that Lancome was bought by L'oreal as well as many other companies (ex. YSL, Emporio Armani etc). That's why you smell almost the same perfume blah to each "new" release. (ex.2. the similarity of the 'limited' edition LNT Fleur de nuit with Black Opium by YSL) The idea is recycling some notes and just advertising them into different bottles, trying to win some specific audiences. Forgive me for this introduction and examples but there are fragranticans who never experienced the power of the original LNT. One or two sprays were enough not only to last all day, but to full a room before you even enter. I always appreciated this dark-fruity-smoky-gourmand aphrodisiac elixir, but on my mid 20's I couldn't wear it and show it off. Now, for those of you who had the opportunity to smell the original LNT eau de toillette back in 2017 and the new formula of LNT EDP named listed as 2019 in fragrantica, then you have the Le parfum edition. In a few words, what I appreciate from Le parfum edition is that it's similar to the "original" 2019. So it's advertised as a more intense (oil concentrated) perfume, or the most at the moment. The truth is that although it looks more dense, it's not. The original 2019 EDP has even more notes and it's more complex. An opening of something fresh/fruity (that's why I mentioned the EDT) and then for an hour max a touch of cassis that I personally don't like as a fruity note. Other than that I can't see anything new or impressive. I don't know where exactly the cacao is but even if it's there, have you ever drank a hot chocolate with cassis or wild berries? The combo turns my stomach but...on the other hand, this edition could be easily worn by men. I hope no women is offended but it gives me masculine vibes, like a dough-y dessert but nothing that wow or memorable. It's a pass...How many times should we say the moto: Never mess with the original?!

To me, it’s a Halloween patchouli queen — a little notorious, a little magical, slightly esoteric. It has that old-pharmacy, medicinal touch that makes it mysterious and intriguing. I like it, even though it’s been on the market for quite some time 😉. It feels like a gothic black rose draped in currant... I don’t really get any cacao, though. She appeared when the clock sighed past midnight — a silhouette carved from shadow and candlelight. Her perfume arrived before she did: black rose steeped in vanilla and incense, curling through the room like a whispered spell. ..... He didn’t see her at first; he felt her — the warmth of amber and praline, the pulse of desire hidden beneath layers of lace and sin. Her eyes shimmered like obsidian mirrors, holding the weight of forgotten promises. “La Nuit,” she murmured, her voice smooth as spilled honey. The word alone tasted forbidden. When she moved closer, the air thickened — sweet, smoky, magnetic. Every breath became confession, every heartbeat an invocation. She leaned in — her scent a potion of dark petals and starlit skin, something between heaven and curse. He knew he would never escape it. Nor did he want to. That night, the moon hid behind the clouds, ashamed to watch. And in the silence between their breaths, the perfume claimed its soul — as it always does.

Tested at a reputable cosmetics (chain)store: This is a juicier, fresher take on the original La Nuit Tresor (2019) or the Dentelle de Roses flanker (2021). On the blotter La Nuit Tresor Le Parfum stays very fresh and berry forward until the cacao note arrises about 20 minutes after spraying. On skin (on my skin at least) the scent warms up a bit, although moving towards the OG, not really towards the cacao that I was expecting. I'd recommend spraying on clothes to get the novelty (berry-cacao effect) out of this flanker, on skin it quite quickly turns into a lighter version of the OG - which of course might be just what some people are after, since even La Nuit Tresor 2019 is a heavy hitter. I'd say this is definitely better than the ghastly Fleur de Nuit from last year, but a long way away from the glory days of A la folie or Nude. ...and people please... this has absolutely nothing to do with Tresor Midnight Rose. And I mean Nada. Nope. Nothing.

Sis', they went crazy with this trend with Parfum, Le Parfum, etc. Paradoxically, they dilute the perfumes but still call the released variants Parfum or variant 2, Intense. Excuse the digression, back to LNT Parfum. Although it seems to resemble the original, it does not. And it doesn't resemble either the Si variants, or even the black one. It has only a fruity note of cassia, the rest cocoa beans, a little patchouli and a bit of musk?. It's not sweet, it even has something slightly masculine in it, it almost tends towards unisex. That's really good, isn't it? What I still find strange about it is that although it is strong and long-lasting, without a doubt, it leads very quickly to nose blind... in a short time I don't feel it anymore. It's so interesting overall, I give it a 7 out of 10.

I am a devoted Lancome fan.. the la Nuit line.. is my favorite creation from them.. they don't come to play.. Le parfume is modern.. powdery.. powerful, and attention commanding.. It has DNA from a la folie...and the intense version of the la nuit line.. this perfume is everything this house represents.. which is a complex.. feminine, sensual, trail.. It's interesting to me that I wanna say that this flanker is more pure.. like it's striped down of all the previous flakers from past years.. and really uplifting the base essence note.. that is always included with every release.. this one Is soo breathtaking.. I am throughly impressed..

I’ve had my bottle for a good 2-3 weeks. It’s just starting to smell like... something. The original dna is definitely there. I get a very faint cacao and patchouli combo. Unfortunately Lancôme, like many other brands are releasing these bottles prematurely. You have to spray and let it sit for a few weeks/months to get the actual scent. Let’s not start about the price. It’s crazy. We’re getting watered down perfume for €70-85 for 30 ml ! On a positive note , the bottle is cute and seats pretty on my vanity with the other flankers.

Yay. Cloying blackcurrant syrup all the way. Maybe a very shy hint of cacao if I dig deep and gaslight my brain into smelling it. I don’t know why I keep smelling every LNT release : the bottles are pretty and the notes seem interesting but every single time, I end up like « Ok. Now I remember. » Same with LVEB line, minus the pretty bottles. Definitely not for me.

I get a sweet and tangy blackcurrant right away, followed by a darkened, gothic rose that comes into play, revealing a distinct and sweet powdery cacao. Quite intense, the whole sweetness is balanced by a woody patchouli. It’s actually delicious. Something i could see fitting a more mature woman

This is the La nuit Tresor 2019, with cacao and spice added. Nothing groundbreaking, but a nice scent. The drydown is very similar to the OG, a bit deeper maybe, but very similar. A la Folie and the Nude, are still the best flankers in my opinion.

Oh! I didn’t even know this was a thing! The notes sadly do not excite me. I’ve had enough blackcurrant for a lifetime just with Armani Si before it was reformulated and Armani Si Intense. I’m worried this will give that smell..

If you had a chance to smell OG LNT, not the reformulated one in 2019; this brings almost the same vibe which is less complex. 90% similar to the OG. I love it and I feel relieved that Lancome brings it back. 10 out of 10 !!

This is not on the Lancome USA website. In fact, NONE of the La Nuit Tresor variants are on the website. What is going on, Lancome? Update: this is still available on the French website. Hmm.
