La Nuit Trésor Musc Diamant

This fragrance is heavenly! I fell in love with it immediately! It was love at first sniff! This perfume really reminds me of a fragrance that Victoria's Secret made ages ago. It was also a vanilla scent. That was one of the first things I thought of when I sprayed this on. But of course Lancome's is much nicer. I remember that Victoria's Secret came out with a new vanilla fragrance during the holiday season (back then), and they had some small bottles for sale (like samples). I was in college and didn't have a lot of money to spend on gifts for everyone in my large family, so I bought a few to give as Christmas gifts. Lancome's La Nuit Tresor Musc Diamant smells very similar to that old Victoria's Secret fragrance, but I just can't remember the name of it. I know it's been discontinued for a LONG time. I used to buy Victoria's Secret fragrances years ago, but I eventually lost interest in them. I don't even remember the names of them any more. But perhaps this is why I think of the Christmas season whenever I smell Lancome La Nuit Tresor Musc Diamant. I really think this is more of a winter fragrance. It makes me think of snow, sugar plum fairies, fluffy white kittens, marshmallows, and Christmas. Perhaps it's the vanilla that reminds me of the holidays? Many people tend to do a lot more baking during the Christmas season, so maybe that's why I feel this way. It's a very comforting scent in my opinion. But it's also elegant, and I can easily see someone wearing this out on a date or to a formal event. It's beautiful and it lasts. it smells good when you first spray it on and then later as if gradually softens and fades. I can still smell it on my clothing long after it's faded on my skin. I don't understand anyone not liking this one, and I don't know why Lancome would discontinue it. What a shame. I like it better than the original and some of the other flankers such as La Nuit Tresor Nude and Tresor Midnight Rose. I only smelled Lancome la Nuit Tresor in a department store once. It is also gorgeous. I went back a couple of weeks later and I was informed that the store was no longer carrying it! I plan to buy a bottle of that soon (I can only find it online), and I would also like to try La Nuit Tresor A La Folie before it is also discontinued. UPDATE (12/15/2022): I wore this yesterday and the day before yesterday. It's been a while since I've worn this. I was waiting for winter. This fragrance doesn't strike me as an autumn scent. It could be appropriate for cooler spring weather, but I still think of it as a winter fragrance because of its coolness. This perfume turns heads - in a good way! It draws compliments from people! My daughter gave me a hug yesterday and told me how good I smelled. And so did a nurse when I went to my doctor's appointment. I still don't know why Lancome discontinued it. I noticed that you can buy these discontinued fragrances online from various sellers on eBay, etc, but it's no longer available to purchase on the Lancome website or in department stores. What a shame. And the price for these discontinued Tresor fragrances is outrageous! I've seen some priced as high as $200 a bottle on Ebay! Last night I was able to score one 1 oz. bottle of La Nuit Tresor A La Folie online for about $65. That is the cheapest I've seen. GOOD LUCK! UPDATE (12/30/2022): I recently received my bottle of La Nuit Tresor A La Folie. Though I like La Nuit Tresor A La Folie, I have to say that I like La Nuit Tresor Musc Diamant MORE. It is the better out of the two, and it lasts longer. La Nuit Tresor A La Folie doesn't last as long - not even on my clothing. I disagree with those who say La Nuit Tresor A La Folie is better. I don't think so. That's just my opinion.

This bottle is so beautiful and after reading the notes, i decided to blind buy. I stuck to a 30ml as i had just been disappointed by another La Nuit Tresor blind buy and could not have another disappointment at that expense. After wearing it for the second time, i think it is going into my top 5 favourite list! The opening hits you in a unique way. I think i smell raspberry, musk and maybe vanilla but this very quickly dries down to a milky (almonds?), vanilla, sweet musk. It smells so sweet but comforting. Musc diamant stays very close to and on top of the skin. You don't always smell it but then you get some teasing whiffs which smell amazing and this makes you want to sniff your wrist over and over. I think it could quite easily be mistaken for a shower gel, lotion or shampoo as it has that mildness to it but i feel it can very easily transfer so if you were to cuddle someone, they would smell of the perfume after. I rubbed my neck and could smell the perfume on my hands immediately and this was hours later. In terms of longevity, you are talking a comfortable 8 hours. By the 7th hour, i was starting to get less whiffs as i moved but in the 8th hour, i did get the odd whiff. After that, you could smell it a bit if you put your nose to the skin. Lancome generally do well with longevity, i think but it has been a while since i really enjoyed one of their perfumes. Brilliant for winter and maybe spring (as we are crossing over). I have a feeling it might be too milky/ sweet for a hot day but you never know. A unique and beautiful smell and I look forward to wearing it again. I can see this being a repeat purchase for sure.

I really love this one! This was a love at first sniff for me! I generally only like the musk in the NR For Her line, so I was hesitant to blind buy a musk forward fragrance that isn't a NR musk. Soooo pleasantly surprised by this one! I love the how this musk is sweetened up by the raspberry and the vanilla! In my opinion this is not a super powdery musk like in the Kayali musk, which I don't like. This is the precise DNA of La Nuit Tresor made light and airy by the musk. I love that I catch whiffs of this while I'm wearing it too. It's by no means beast mode like the original is, but it definitely projects and leaves a beautiful sillage. I don't know how they captured the DNA of the original so well! It's absolutely stunning! It lasts around 4-5 hours on me, so it's not incredible in performance, but it's definitely not poor either! I don't think this fragrance has a specific season, it is great for any time of year! If the original is your sexy clubbing scent, this is your perfect day time but still a little sexy scent. It definitely maintains that sexiness that the original has! Absolutely love Musc Diamant!!!

Musc Diamant is so pretty. I heard this was a easy going fragrance in the musk category and it is. A sweet clean fresh musk where you can smell a bit of the OG DNA. It has citrus on the tops but you smell the raspberry and then it gets a bit powdery like a bit of a make-up vibe. And it dries down to this gentle like skin fragrance. Man Lancome can do no wrong with their La Nuit line. This smells like having a baby around how they are sweet, soft and gentle full of baby powder yet in a fragrance with hints of fruits and almonds to sweeten it up. I'm so happy this one is so different from the rest of the line. I think it's worth collecting. I also love the bottle as well it's clear and iridescent purplish pink. If you loved musks growing up and using the Victoria Secret's musks I think you would also like this. Update: this smells like a lighter Guerlain Insolence edp. Much lighter. If you love that you will instantly love this.

I love this scent! Wow wow wow is all I can say. I saw this scent for £12.95, and since I had a £10 voucher for the perfume shop ended up purchasing this for £2.95! Which was incredible in itself but this scent! It's beautiful! I am not a fan of musk but this is sweet white musk done in such a beautiful and expensive way, it's honestly incredible. This honestly just smells so expensive. That's the best way I can describe it, it's clean but lightly sweet and just perfect. Perfume doesn't last on my skin but this lasted on me for over 12hours, which is why I'm confused on why it doesn't last on some people and on my clothes it lasted over a couple of days. It's projection is so so beautiful, I could smell it on me all day and got multiple compliments on it too. I would 110% pay full retail value to repurchase this. It's just perfect.

A Intoxicating Musky scent that does a waltz with the Almond, floral notes and powdery raspberry, changing partners through out the song of beauty. I love it, luckily I got 2 bottles from Lancome during their fall clearance. It has a excitng projection that one spray in a room will fill it up and when you re-enter you can't help but to be happy for it smells so so good. It lasted for over 8 hours before turning into a skin scent which stayed until the next day. The bottle is so lovely on my spinning perfume tower, it sparkles and shines and it does the same thing on my skin. A scent that evolves the longer you wear it and stay intoxciating the entire time. A stunner!!! Works day or night, jeans or a dress !!

This baby is finally MINE! I had two decants and decided I had to have a bottle. If you blindfolded me and sprayed this, I would guess this is a niche perfume, and wouldn't be surprised if you told me it costs $150-200. It's that smooth and beautiful. It's not overly sweet, nor is the musk a dirty one. I love the raspberry note with the musc and light almonds. I don't really get the patchouli or sandalwood, but I'm 100% happy with the way it is. My son had been away for days, walked into the house after I had sprayed it and said "Wow! What smells so good in here?!" He rarely says that. Also, it's not soapy at all to me, nor do I get the baby powder or baby smell others are getting.

I'll admit to being a bit flippant about Lancome and their army of flankers, but credit where it's due, they managed to breathe huge life into the Tresor range with Nuit. Musc Diamant is along the same lines as Nuit, nothing of the original DNA is here, no nectarine and no peach, it's slightly curious branding, but this fragrance is wonderful. The best musk fragrance on the market for ages, creamy vanilla musk, with the faintest hint of raspberry, it is stunning. It will of course be overshadowed by the huge release of Idole, but this is exceptional. Lancome are producing the goods.... A new men's fragrance though, is it too much to ask, just one.

I smelled this for the first time in a perfume store, telling the staff I was looking for a good musky scent. Fell in love IMMEDIATELY and had to go back and buy it. It is now my signature scent. It has the clear DNA of the La Nuit Trésor, but is a softer, warmer & deeper scent with a delicious musk. I first thought I smelled tobacco and liquor behind all that fuzziness too, which I LOVE. On the skin it later softens down to an angels whispers vibe and I put it on before going to bed, a perfect sleeping perfume. Not too sweet but definitely a feminine vibe, love wearing it to every occasion, but especially during fall and winter!

Soft, enveloping, comforting. The raspberry is very indistinct and rather artificial, more like a generic berry vibe. But the main player is the soft white musk. This scent feels like a creamy-powdery cocoon. There is also something slightly soapy going on. I cannot distinguish any notes in particular, they are all blended together. Some people might say it's non-descript and without character, and it is indeed not an "in your face" perfume, but I like it a lot. I think it's one of those perfumes that blend in with your natural scent and make your skin and hair smell nice, but won't necesserily stand out and get noticed much.

Dear Fragranticians, this is honestly so pretty. Pure beauty. Very delicate. What I get from this scent is mainly the following picture - raspberries and rose petals covered in sugar. A little bit of freesia. Very, very pleasant fragrance, of course rather powdery and sweet. I am yet about to test its longevity and sillage. I got this perfume like few weeks ago and when I sprayed it for the first time it was so faint. I was really disappointed. I left it untouched for some time and now it somehow got stronger and more intense? If this is the case then that would be great. We will see. :) Perfumes are fascinating.

Oh gosh, the 1st hr. I had no idea what I was smelling. I barely smelled anything at all and whatever I did smell was really funky horrible like bug spray. I didn't wash it off seeing I can barely smell it. Took a nap on the sofa and woke up to this wonderful scent. Strong wafts of sweet almond powder and musc. Not a milky creamy almond but cool almond dust and vanilla. I couldn't believe its the same perfume! How polarizing! I can detect just a hint of sandalwood and Jasmine. Very unique, very lovely. Very clean, and soft but projects and very long lasting 12hr/2 spray inner arm.

This is the ultimate musk scent of my dreams. 😍 It’s sensual, clean, airy and a bit sweet with an almost innocent aphrodisiacal appeal. 💕 It’s beautiful on its own, but I’ve also been wearing it with other appropriate fragrances like La Nuit Trésor (original) – a striking combination. I can’t see it being listed on Lancôme’s international website, so I’ve bought a backup bottle in fear of it being discontinued soon, AND a backup bottle of my backup bottle, just to be on the safe side. 😄 It has a good projection, and last extremely well.

This one took me by surprise. I was expecting something like Prada Candy Kiss in which the DNA of the original would be dominant but with heavy musk. I was so wrong and I am glad that I was! Yes, it is musk heavy but it is balanced with vanilla and fruit. I can’t explain it but it almost reminds me of saltwater taffy. I’m going to need to buy a backup soon since I think it’s getting discontinued, which is insane. I prefer this to all the La Nuit Tresor flankers, hell, I even prefer it to the original La Nuit Tresor.

I just blind bought this because of the bottle that is just beautiful at first i didn't like it lol but i gave it few chances of course until now that i loved it. Let me explain at first can smell like baby powder hahaha is very very powdery but after it settles on skin is sweet and delicate not sweet like vainilla but sweet and fruity is not overwhelming scent and is not super strong so u can wear it daily and maybe any season day or night, on me it doesnt last too much but is just fine kinda max 5 hours :)

Got this one as a gift, receiving perfumes usually scares me because I never know how I’ll feel wearing them but this one I fell in love with instantly! The bottle is pretty so I was like ok if it’s not right on my skin at least the bottle will always be gorgeous to look at but then I smelled it... Beautiful! At first very floral and a bit fruity and later it becomes powdery and musky and I can smell the vanilla . It’s like a cloud of all the nice comforting notes, soft, elegant and feminine.

This is Lancome DNA. Sweet, pretty much generic , but a pleasant smell. Actually the sweetness is intense, so be aware. It leans toward gourmand to me. May be 'too much' for some people. The best sweet fragrance I've owned so far. I'd say it's a linear smell. It starts musk and does not change much. I actually like it. It's perfumery, sexy and very intimate. Kind of sexy innocent goddess vibe to me. Controversial. (The silage is) Not very intense, so may be suitable for an every day perfume.

La nuit trésor musc diamant is like la nuit trésor with a touch of musk. I don’t think la nuit trésor musc diamant is similiar with TBS white musk, yes they are musky but la nuit trésor musc diamant has softer musky than TBS white musk . This perfume smells really good, soft, musky (but not too much), sweet, and floral. Musc diamant stays 6-8 hours on my skin. La nuit trésor can stay longer on my skin. The bottle is so pretty actually, it has holographic effect, very collectible.

Why would Lancôme discontinue such masterpiece? Nothing is like this perfume, nothing will ever be. This is the best thing I've ever worn, the most beautiful, fluffy, musky, innocent and clean perfume in my opinion, with just enough sweetness and fruitiness to make you crave it all day. When I wear this I just can't keep my nose away from my wrist and clothes. The almond here has some comforting and calming effect on me, mixed with white clean musk = heaven to my nose and nerves.

Gorgeous bottle as always for this range. As a collector and lover of La Nuit Tresor and its flankers, I’d have no hesitation whatsoever in blind-buying this, as I did with the others (in my experience it’s unlikely to reach UK shelves within the next couple of years). La Nuit Tresor EdP is my nighttime signature and A La Folie is my daytime signature. All the perfumes in this collection are beautiful and unique and I expect this newest edition won’t disappint either.

Oh how much I love Musc Diamant. This is not an innocent musk by any stretch of the imagination. On the contrary, a strong white musk is supported by notes of violet, raspberry, almond and vanilla. It has the density the proper La Nuit Tresor flanker should have and does not disappoint in any aspect, not even in its longevity. Such a beautiful fragrance, the berry combined with the musk is everything. The white flowers bring extra elegance, this is a sensual scent, mysterious and sexy. It has the DNA of the original one but I prefer this more, it is not as strong as that one but in my opinion this is more lady like and innocent, pure. I love to wear this before sleep, it gives me an aura and it is so calming for me.

Very beautiful and feminine. Transparent and fluid musk with warm almond and raspberry. Reminds me of an airier, sweeter, and less powdery version of My Insolence with undercurrents of the OG LNT DNA woven through. I love the LNT line and appreciate that this flanker whispers instead of shouts. This has its rightful place in the line but she isn’t for everybody. Those that get it, get it.

This was a blind buy. I wish that the musk was more dominant and the sillage was stronger but it is a beauty nonetheless. A marshmallow cloud, fluffed with a little cotton candy. I have the Tresor La Nuit which is my all time fave. I just layered this over the La Nuit with a splash of Demeter’s pixie dust and I smell like a Sugar Plum Fairy who just walked out of the hair salon. Lol

Gourgegous ! I love the scent and adore the beautiful bottle. This is really gooooood stuff to me. Musky, violet leaf, soft patchouli, rose on a woody base. Lovely rasberry and almond notes. So clean, gentle and comforting. Feminine, innocent, sexy and a bit powdery. A pride in my collection. Moderate silage and really good longevity.

Sprayed it at a store and got to car with my friend and immediately got a compliment from him. Its a sweet musky soft scent that upon the first spray might be a bit much but give it time. It's a close to skin scent that makes ur skin smells better and sexier. ELegant, soft and put together. I love it and apparently so does all men ;)

This is my signature scent even though I have 70+ perfumes to choose from. I have never found another scent even close to this one. I have 2 back up bottles because its very hard to find. I think it's discontinued. It is sexy but not provocative I would wear this on a date or on a job interview. It's just lovely <3

a very beautiful fragrance, but the raspberry is jarring during the initial spray. for me it fades away quickly leaving a very beautiful soft musky dry down. it was very potent and lasted me literally from 11 am -7 pm! happy with this blind buy

If you attended Hogwarts and your Potions teacher lectured you about a potion to transform anyone into a white rabbit, this is what it would smell like. Plain and simple as it is, i am terribly sorry a potion like this is discontinued.

I blind bought this, and Wow! This is everything I was looking for! 😍 Sweet musky candyfloss, no weird aftersmell, just goodness from start to finish. I love it. Could easily be my signature scent, its such an easy reach. ❤️

Lovely perfume. It is the "cleanest" out of all the La Nuit collection due to the white musk notes, while also maintaining the DNA of La Nuit. Very original and sensual. It gives me a good vibe whenever I am wearing it.

Jeanne Arthes Amore Mio White Pearl is an amazing smell-alike. Not exact dupe, but such a similar character. Azzaro Twin is also similar. Love both for their own merits but they're also much cheaper than this!

This is so gorgeous! One of the best sweet musks i have ever smelled. There is a faint Aoud note that I can smell from start to finish.

For me this is just perfect, sweet, soft and cozy, it feels like a second skin, like my personal scent, I just adore it.

preface : I have LNT and LNTALF so have a good idea of the DNA. Tempted to get the nude as they seem to all be working well with my body chemistry. this is moderately reminiscent of the OG DNA. I have worn this for about 4 hours today and can tell you it is not as beast mode as LNT. It is in the same realm as A la folie in terms of sillage and projection which is on the better side. I used to have TBS white musk and this is WAYYYYYY better. This one smells like very clean, fresh, sweet and feminine. But it is a soft freshness not zesty but very alluring. Its the type of perfume you wear when you wanna smell soft and sweet and a little powdery. I truly feel like this is ageless and anyone could wear it. The reason I would recommend for both day and night is because it literally is a great daytime or bedtime scent. This is not an evening sexy date night scent. Probably great for work. Not the most wintery but could rock it in all other seasons especially summer. Something everyone needs and very underrated. Buy it before it is discontinued.

Edit: the more I wear it, the more I love it! It’s such a clean, simple, but effective scent! It doesn’t bother, so at first you might dismiss it, but it’s so addictive in its simplicity, I keep sniffing my wrist! The best I can put it, as an experience, is when you’ve traveled for 24h and you’re tired and in desperate need of a bath, and then you get to a 5* hotel where you pamper yourself to a luxurious bath and then enter the cleanest, softest sheets. It’s that feeling 💎🤍 Lovely, safe fragrance. Very fresh, fruity and elegantly musky. I like it for everyday use. It works in an environment where you don’t want to offend. I don’t really smell the original DNA of the La Nuit Tresor EDP, if I would smell this blindly I wouldn’t say it’s a flanker. Could be a good signature scent, not offensive at all, and at the same time it has some uniqueness. Develops better and better as it dries down, so don’t judge it on the initial spray.

I bought Musk Diamond because I wanted another musk to add to my collection, I don't have many musk fragrances and I wanted a musk that wouldn't be the type of musk my mother would wear. 2nd I wanted this very pretty bottle for display on my vanity, so I blind bought it. Musk Diamond (English sorry) opens w/ a sweet raspberry cloaked in musk. A candied musky violet follows. I get quite a lot of Damask rose in the heart, not a lot of freesia but again the florals are cloaked in musk. The dry down is raspberry, musky almonds. This is a very sweet fruity floral musk. I would describe this perfume as Light, soft, abstract and sweet. It is an easy dumb reach when you don't know what to wear and you don't want to offend anyone. A nice addition to my collection and the bottle is so stunning. This would also be a good layering perfume that would add sweetness and musk to any perfume that lacks those qualities.

A fluffy and clean, but still slightly skin-like musk, perfectly blended with dripping syrupy raspberries, a hint of vanilla and dewy florals, mainly rose and freesia. In my opinion this is a typical scent for Lancome and especially the La Nuit Trésor line, so many of their fragrances have the same luscious, sweet texture. Musc Diamant is maybe the most daytime appropriate of all the LNT flankers, very easy to wear but not boring. It's lighter than the others and less gourmand, but I don't get the complaints about sillage and longevity. When I sprayed one little spritz on my arm today, I felt so enveloped by its warmth. Even though it's a fruity musk fragrance that would even work nicely in spring, I found it very cozy on this cool and rainy December afternoon. It's a linear scent that doesn't change much from the opening to the drydown, simple and sweet.

I feel like this is the most underrated member of LNT family -at least in my country-. The opening is more on the floral side and the drydown is surprisingly sweet and fruity -and of course, musky) on my skin. Even though the raspberry is mentioned among the top notes, it becomes even more noticeable on my skin after 5+ hours of wearing it. As much as I think it's a pretty original scent, I feel like it's somewhat okay for a blind buy since there's nothing unusual or dislikeable about it. Not a risky scent at all. In the worst scenario, you would give it to a friend or so. And it's wearable throughout the year, maybe a little too sweet for the hottest days of summer but it wouldn't make you sick. I don't smell much vanilla in it. But personally I love wearing it in the spring. Great smell, lasts a really long time on me, sillage is not bad.

I often involve a collegue in my olfactory journeys; how much patiently she tries fragrances with me!, or even she does it for me, when evidently no free skin on my wrists and whole arms remains to test anything else. Today she's trying to explain to me the differences between 'Musc Diamant' and the first La Nuit Trésor, since I am not able to do it, shortly after the first spray. She encouraged me to wait for the scent to settle on my skin untill the praline factor faded, so it didn't deviate too much from my own personality likes. She is right, little by little the white musk has emerged in a soft, sublime way. 'Musc Diamant' is a harmonious fragrance, it's a pleasant shadow of the original to me and seriously, I think I should really consider to buy it.

I wrote and deleted a ridiculously long review with infinite edits on this perfume because it went from hate to love... This is a very smooth calming scent that I love to wear to bed, it is airy and pleasant and gives me a luxurious SPA vibes. The combination of almond and musk was odd and kind of medicinal for me in the beginning although I adore both notes in perfumes but thanks god I didn't give up on it and tried it in warmer weather months later. It is very long lasting I can clearly smell it the day after and has very strong sillage as one colleague told me she could smell it from down stairs. I won't say it is a safe blind buy but it's safe to say that it's a beautiful scent in a gorgeous bottle with an impressive performance.
