La Nuit Trésor Rouge Drama

I bought this perfume hoping it would be similar to A La Folie. At the first spray it really reminds me of it, with a red fruity opening. After a while it turns into a rosy strawberry jam scent, but the sweetness is not overwhelming to my nose. To me, it smells like a sweeter and more refined version of BBW You’re the One. The drydown reminds me of the original Tresor. If the drydown had a bit more vanilla, it would probably be even closer to A La Folie. Overall, I really like it. I think it can be worn in all four seasons, but if you don’t enjoy sweet fragrances, you might want to stay away from it.

I came to here just to say that I'm wearing this fragrance today, and my God, I know, I'm dramatic lol... But I can't get this enough, is SO amazing. Today's morning when I entered into the elevator a guy next to me was VISIBLE sniffing my jacket kind mesmerized, Is the kind of the effect I have myself. I will never regret to be the most well perfumed in the room, we all need something good near us💕 3.96 rate here today for this fragrance is criminally unfair. I do rate as 10000000

I loved this, loved the strawberry notes with lemon zesty. I don't think is redundant to have this if you already have the original. I added to my collection right after testing out 3 times when I was in Paris week ago, I couldn't wait arrives where I live 🤭 I also loved Idole Peach Roses. Lancôme never disappoints me ❤️🫶🏻

Absolutely gorgeous fragrance. Yes as others have said it settles into the original but somehow it’s creamier and smoother. Starts off with a gorgeous strawberry note. I have a 1ml sample of this. 3 tiny sprays and I can still smell it 8 hours later!!

Such a beautiful flanker. It carries the DNA of the original, modernized with a lovely strawberry note and lemon in the opening. The strawberry note is beautifully done here, it blends so well with a hint of rose in the drydown. Love it!

Lancôme has me in their clasp again!

Strawberry - dark, syrupy, ruby‐red, lacquered. Rose - warm, plush, velvet‐petaled. Vanilla - molten, creamy, spotlight glow. Amber - resinous, warm, nocturnal. Rouge Drama opens like a strawberry dipped in red velvet, stepping onto a dimly lit stage with full confidence and a slow, sensual strut. This is not a pink, fresh, girlish fruit. This is ruby syrup, glossy and shadowed, wrapped around a warm red rose that feels more like fabric than a flower. The vanilla glows like backstage lights, smoothing everything into a soft, molten haze. The amber deepens the whole thing, adding warmth and texture so it never slips into “sweet for sweetness’ sake.” It’s gourmand, but not edible; floral, but not airy; fruity, but not bright. It’s Lancôme at night, wearing heels and plotting something dramatic. On my axis, this sits firmly in the “yes, I will wear this” category: warm, resin‐kissed, nocturnal, and textured - just slightly fruitier than my molten‐amber core. A red‐velvet persona rather than my usual black‐amber soul. This is the scent you wear when everyone else smells like laundry musk and citrus. You will stand out, in a good way. This is the La Nuit Trésor flanker that says: “I’m fruity, but I’m not cheerful about it.” 8/10. A strawberry‐velvet diva with a flair for drama and a talent for seduction.

Well, I was expecting yet another candy-like strawberry, but it’s actually much better than I feared. The fragrance is sweet - yes, without a doubt - but the strawberry is subtle, accompanied by rose, with a slightly bitter note that balances the sweetness. The result is tangy, sweet, and gourmand, but not unpleasant. In fact, even though it doesn’t smell like apple at all, it reminded me a little of a candied apple - probably because of that sweet-and-tangy combination. It doesn’t reinvent the wheel, of course, but it holds its own.

From the notes I would have guessed this is going to be a brighter, lighter scent. I can't smell any of the lemon zest and the strawberry is heavy and syrupy with lots of vanilla. The name and color of the bottle really reflect the scent. The juice itself is red so you have to be careful with it. I really enjoyed testing this, but the discontinued La nuit Tresor Nude still remains my favourite. If anybody is selling a bottle of that I would be happy to buy it!!

I had high hopes but I found this disappointing. The opening reminded me of cheap artificial strawberry flavor, while I was expecting something more refined, like the strawberry in Burberry Her Elixir. Afterwards, it turned into nondescript sweetness, similar to other La Nuit Trésor iterations — not unpleasant at all, but I was expecting more. I'll have to try it again to verify my initial impression...

A huge burst of strawberry, and lots of Ylang Ylang. I agree with Mrs H Sniffs there could be some element of a cherry hiding in there. Where is the rose? It doesn't smell bad, but it also definitely doesn't give off any kind of "drama" vibes. This smells like fruity candy gummies and something of a plastic toy. Not at all for me but I can see it being appealing.

My sample has just arrived. I dont know whether i was expecting more? Its pleasant enough but nothing overly special unfortunately. Nicer on initial spray. Dry down is boring. Boooo

It smells like chapstick on the skin. That’s it...smooth strawberry chapstick. 😭

Come on! This is just the reformulated original La nuit tresor EDP 2019 in a different bottle. It's just a tad less 'smoky', frutier and the juice can stain the paper/clothes as it's slightly redish. This release is a total pass and there's no logic behind it. The best release with the main star to be strawberry is Fame in love from Rabanne. Hope my review will be a distress for all the fragranticans that are raving for it and can't find it in their countries. I wish someone could do the same for me and La belle Rosea from Gaultier haha.

"Strawberries and wanton desire" - finally found it! I've been hunting a strawberry that isn't "too young", or overly sweet, or annoying to people around me - but without being bitter, or herbal, or too formal. This is the one. It DOES remind me of the pre-reformulation of the original, but juicier and less angular. The strawberry is really nice and round, and I can't detect any of the annoying coffee from the original. All in all, my strawberry-search is finally over :)

Recieved a sample of this. I'm not a fan of the tresor line. However this was a surprising little gem. I blind tried this on skin without knowing the notes. I could have sworn it was a syrup cherry scent. However seeing the ylang makes sense now. To me this is a fruitchouli. Creamy syrup thick fruits with floral undertones. The rose is not overpowering at all. I'm going to retest 2moro but this is already in basket. Cozy date night fall/winter scent

I am not a huge fan of the La Nuit Trésor DNA which is too sweet for me... but the bottle still makes me want to smell every flanker released! This one is OVERLY sweet. I only get a strawberry candy. Maybe a well hidden rose and absolutely no patchouli at all. This smells very juvenile and not coherent with the grown up connotation of the name, in my opinion.

Bored on a long line at the pharmacy, I sprayed this on both hands and my blazer cuff. Well, it's lovely perfect corporate designer deep fruitchouli. I enjoyed every hour of it and then it lasted several days on my blazer, slowly fading away. There's nothing difficult or unique about it. It simply smells wonderful.

Not like it isn't beautiful, it really is, but i find it a bit simple and predictable. Slightly body spray energy. The og tresor or tresor midnight rose is much better. Also since it seems like berry adjacent perfumes are everywhere now, I feel like i have other favorites such as the miss dior essence

I have this fragrance now , and i love Lancome but i smell the original ADN La Nuit Tresor just with a fruty top notes . In the rest is the same fragrance ! Nothing new ! I'm very very desapointed ! For what i payed my money as a collectionist couse i buy it blind beeing a new feagrance

They would do everything BUT bring back the previous good formulation of La Nuit Trésor original. Lancome does not listen to their customers for sure. And to top that they discontinued A La Folie.... 👎🏼

Just received this today, and I love it. It feels quite similair to a la folie, but a bit more creamy red? I love it, dare I say I like it more then A la Folie and my husband also loves it

I’m praying it’s a deep strawberry smell, not like the one in Burberry her, the reviewer who mentioned la folie is giving me hope that this may make a fine replacement.

Could someone please share where they bought this fragrance and if it's available in the US? I am still angry at Lancome for not releasing Vanilla Noir in the USA.

I wonder if it smells somewhat like Rouge Now or Never that was a limited edition for Christmas back in the day, if it does I am buying 10 bottles.

I love strawberry note since the Miss Dior Cherie. Unfortunately no perfume has dethroned Cherie but I try everything with strawberry!
