La Vie Est Belle Domaine de la Rose

If you like La Vie est Belle en Rose you'll love this. The dry down to me is almost identical, but obviously this is a much stronger perfume with great projection and lasting power. I'm not sure it's worth the price for only 30ml, one to savour for special occasions.

Very similar to LVEB en Rose, but this is slightly more green and has a woody edge to it. I think it's more feminine and fresher than the original LVEB, but can also feel a bit traditional or mature. I think anyone who loves rose would like this, but it's also simple and not as complex as say, Diptyque Eau Rose EDP or Jo Malone Red Roses.

I like this one, like the woody aspects to it. I don't get all worked up about flankers and this is creamy rose LVEB extrait. It's an easy reach, not offensive and gives me pleasure. I have a lot of other perfumes that challenge me, sometimes I just like to smell good. Not big on others negative opinions, so....win win.

It’s very “nice”, as you’d expect -your typical LVEB DNA with added rose. There’s not really a lot more to it than that and not much depth beyond the rose overdose. It’s not cloying at all, so that’s a big plus. Great quality ingredients of course, as you’d expect, but is it worth the price tag? I’m not sure if is, considering how well the other LVEB’s perform (particularly the original), are you really getting anything “more” from this extrait version? Especially as there was already an En Rose flanker. It's more or less disappeared on me within a couple of hours, which is disappointing. I would have liked this more had it smelled more exquisite somehow. That said, I adore the recyclable packaging! I hope other perfume houses follow suit.

This is La vie Est belle with rose as the focus. It’s really nice. If you don’t like roses don’t bother about this one. I think it might be redundant to have this and the original LVEB especially because of the price and size unless you just want to have it in your collection.
