La Vie Est Belle

Lancôme is the type of company that usually launches great fragrances, which become a sales success, every five years or so. And they all mark generations! We have, for example, Trésor (1990), Poême (1995), Miracle (2000), Hypnose (2005), among others. In 2012, it was La Vie Est Belle's turn. The creative concept explores a fragrance capable of making any woman happy and everything was thought to convey that effect, including the bottle. Its project was started in 1949 by Armand Petitjean, founder of Lancôme, and represents a crystal smile. It took more than a year for the effect to be achieved, creating the impression of a smile. The fragrance was the first iris-gourmand ever made by the brand and featured the work of three big names in the industry: Anne Flipo, Olivier Polge, and Dominique Ropion. According to the Lancôme communication area, the palette has 63 ingredients (half of them of natural origin) and it took more than 5.000 tests - in fact, 5.521 - until final approval. La Vie Est Belle Eau de Parfum (in the box, L'Eau de Parfum) has a vibrant composition, which was created to reinterpret the luminosity of the magnolia. And there is a detail that is poorly publicized on the market: the note of Iris Pallida of Florence is present in all stages of evolution, so it is considered a transversal note, although it has been listed in the body of the fragrance. Other important (and very confuse) information is due to the note of cassis (Black Currant), which appears in most Brazilian and North American texts, but changes in some official pages of the brand, such as the United Kingdom and Australia, which list Blackberries. As a critic, I could not leave this aspect out of the analysis, reinforcing the immense amount of communication failures that I find in the industry. That being said, I will stick to what is on both pages, which list pears and blackberries (at the exit), followed by an iris concrete and absolutes of Sambac jasmine and of orange blossom (in the heart), on a base of patchouli essence. And going through all the fragrance, another transversal note, called Accord of delicacies, that would be the combination of vanilla and praline and gives the gourmand effect. La Vie Est Belle combined a well-produced campaign (bringing an actress with a broad smile and public empathy) with a highly accepted fragrance that became a benchmark in the industry. Before that, only one other attracted so much attention from the female audience and the competition: Flowerbomb (2005 / Viktor & Rolf) which, by the way, brought the touch of two equal perfumers involved in its process. Coincidence? On the skin, La Vie Est Belle is exuberant, in all possible meanings: abundant, rich, filling, etc. It has a little bit of everything and at the same time, nothing in exaggeration. From the moment it touches the skin, it's sweet, sensual, warm, slightly dry and powdery, it's floral, it's gourmand ... it's amazing! For these and other reasons, women who have always complained of sweet fragrances have surrendered to their charms, as well as those who do not like fragrances that are too floral or powdery. It is a floral-gourmand, which has vitality and exudes femininity, without pulling into an exclusive age group. In my perception, it looks like a dessert in which slices of pear and petals of jasmine were crystallized and watered with a caramel syrup. Then, an iris powder was gently sprinkled on the dish and, next to it, a kind of tea made with the leaves and roots of patchouli was served, to accompany and give the necessary contrast. There is still a lot of comparison to the Flowerbomb fragrance. But I, in particular, feel that the latter has more floral content. The biggest connection comes from the patchouli note, but I still think that one is more open and oriental, while the other is denser and gourmand. It's no wonder that La Vie Est Belle has become one of the most copied fragrances in every corner of the world, involving companies that make inspired perfumes and, of course, the most famous brands that will never admit the true intention. In less than a decade, it has generated more than 15 flankers, including limited editions. You may not even like La Vie Est Belle, but you must admit its role in world perfumery. After all, we need to respect a winner when we come across one!

I'm surprised to read so many poor reviews of La Vie Est Belle, so I thought I would add my two cents' worth. I find this one delicious. I've had a bottle for about ten years, but I have a pretty big collection so this one was forgotten for a while. I recently found it doing a cleanup for (endless) home renovations. I have been wearing it every day over the past few weeks since the weather got a little cooler here in Massachusetts. I love the scent trail I leave behind me as I navigate my way from room to tortured room. It cuts through the smells of drywall, wet paint, and secondhand smoke from the cigarette butts the lovely construction crew leave smoldering on the ground :) I can really smell the praline in this one. Is it original? No, maybe not, but it's well known and a lot of people wear it for a reason. There are days when I am up for a challenge but more days lately when I just want to smell good. This one makes me feel like a I just got a hug from a mature boss b!$@h at the office who listens to my tearful worries and reassures me that she will take care of everything. I smell a chocolate note in La Vie est Belle, but not a dry, bitter dark chocolate. Milk chocolate. The foil covered chocolate bells in the bottom of your stocking on Christmas morning. Yes, there is patchouli but that's not really the dominant note here. It just anchors the whole composition. If you want a fragrance that lasts ... and lasts ... and lasts ... this is a great choice. It is clearly very well made. You will not have to respray this one all day long. Because La Vie est Belle is so popular, you should have no trouble finding it at the Lancome counter so you can spritz on a little. Cruise through Macy's or Belk's, wherever, apply some LVEB, then go have lunch and discuss further plans for your shopping day with your friends. Let it mellow on your skin. See how it mixes with your unique chemistry. Go home and kiss your husband and wait until he says, "Wow, what are you wearing? I like it!" And he will say that. Men love LVEB, maybe because it isn't all that subtle. Who knows? Put it on your Christmas list. Never buy a girly gift for yourself if you can get a man to do it :) Anyway, I love this one. If you have never tried it I recommend seeking it out. If you have dismissed it in the past, try it again. Your tastes might have changed. I brought home a test strip saturated with this stuff. My husband, who usually endures my perfume obsession with the quiet tolerance of a hostage, smelled it and insisted I buy a bottle. And wear it constantly. Who knew the beautiful, intellectually unburdened oaf had such good taste? Gotta love him. Anyway, here we are at brass tacks. This is, for lack of a better term, THE perfect fragrance. Feel free to stop here, because I'm about to go on one of my unmedicated tangents. The interweb’s army of hipsters and malcontents, who think smelling like a depressed cucumber makes them interesting, love to shriek about popular fragrances. They go out of their way to down vote every single positive review like feral toddlers throwing a tantrum. La Vie Est Belle is their favorite pinata. But love bugs, if your most devastating critique of a perfume is “it smells like a grandma,” you possess the wit and depth of a bowl of Frosted Flakes. And thankfully, the rest of us are still fully capable of enjoying things without needing to be validated by anyone on the internet. Try it sometime. Deep, jagged breath. The reason why this perfume is everywhere ain't hard to find. The vast majority of ordinary, unlobotomized humans who encounter it, enjoy it. It's not rocket science. It’s sugar and flowers and joy. That's exactly why it still sells by the ton a decade later. If you disagree or that offends you, by all means go find a scent that rocks your world. Alrighty? I’ll admit I'm late to this party, but since I arrived I’ve gotten nothing but compliments. Yes, SOME people recognize it instantly. But nobody has ever grabbed me by the shoulders and told me I smell like the world's saddest hooker. Side eye at you, Scandal and all your flankers. And NO, it's not the most complex fragrance on the planet. But sometimes you don't want to spend your day analyzing the existential mysteries of your own wrist. You just want to smell nice and leave the house without ending up on Dateline. Voila: La Vie Est Belle. Life is terrifying and complicated. And it's way too short to throw a tantrum over a bottle of perfume. Go find your joy and leave the rest of us in peace to smell as we please. You either like it OR you don't; end of story.

A beautiful, feminine, modern classic fragrance that stands the test of time for good reason. This is warm, sweet (but not overly so), deep and memorable. It lasts a very long time on my skin and projects beautifully. It’s bold, but not overpowering (unless you underestimate it and overspray, I suppose). It feels special to wear and works for generally every occasion. The dry down is just lovely. This is a perfumey perfume. It’s not a skin scent. It’s not a cotton candy cloud or whisper of vanilla. It’s not some musky pseudo-perfume. It’s a full fledged powerhouse fragrance with a beautiful blend of notes. I suppose this is why it garners such strange reactions these days (and the insistence that it’s “old school” by some). I suppose when you compare it to many of the barely-there fragrances on the market today, it definitely stands out. It always gets me a compliment, which is an added bonus. I’m not sure which notes I’d say are most prominent here. They blend and mingle beautifully and the top and middle notes are grounded in this truly spectacular warmth. LVEB made its debut in 2012, so those calling it outdated make me giggle. I still reach for classic perfumes that are - *gasp* - even older. I’m perplexed by the scathing AI sounding reviews here. Whats worse is those who repeatedly deem everything an “old lady” fragrance. That always reveals the reviewer as someone not worth taking seriously. Might as well skip on over to the next review. I can see how this might be too ‘heavy’ for certain people depending on personal preference - sure. Not everything is for everyone. We know this. Self assuredly bashing fragrances that literally millions of people love is quite amusing and funny though. Scent is subjective, so you’ll never be 100% right, no matter how much you click clack here. But I digress. I have 2 of the flankers of LVEB and they’re very different from the original. I love them all, but a classic is a classic.

La Vie Est Belle is a treasure. There is absolutely a good reason why it is the reigning queen of fragrance right now.. it just smells good, plain and simple. It is sweet, strong, luxurious, and long lasting.. and nothing else smells like it. Other popular fragrances like Flowerbomb, La Nuit Tresor, and Black Opium share a similar vibe but LVEB is unmistakable. I used to think of it as a "basic bitch" scent until I realized I'm part of that Starbucks-drinking, leggings-with-Uggs wearing camp anyway and then I learned to embrace it ;) LVEB is ubiquitous where I live and maybe that also put me off it a little at first but I ended up being seduced and now own the two strongest flankers.. after all, I want to retain some uniqueness at least! But I do have a sample of LVEB I wear at times and deeply enjoy. LVEB opens with a juicy burst of blackberries and pear and settles into the signature sparkling praline, vanilla, and patchouli melange with the fruit taking a backseat in the drydown. At this point the fragrance is so well blended the only thing my nose really picks out is the praline and then "everything else" which is uniquely LVEB. There is really just nothing else like it. I love all types of perfumes.. classics, drugstore cheapies, celeb scents.. I can enjoy the heavy hitters from past decades and appreciate their presence in fragrance history as much as I appreciate what Lancome has done for fragrances today. I love the fruitchouli trend and find it just as essential as the eras of orientals, animalics, chypres, aldehydes, 80s powerhouses, etc. All hail the queen of this generation's perfume--LVEB! Life truly is beautiful :) Edit: I had to buy a full bottle.. I used my sample up quick, I can't get enough of this scent!!

La Vie Est Belle is one of those fragrances that never fails to put a smile on my face. What I love most about it is the way it smells gourmand without actually smelling like food. love this fragrance. it was the first perfume i ever had... which is kind of horrible, really, because it set me up for disappointment with the performance of almost every single frag i've had after that LOL when i was in my early twenties the the black currant and pear smelled unbearably sharp and would give me a headache. i'd sit around for two hours with a migraine until it faded and then enjoy the beautiful warm vanilla base. fast forward and i actually like the opening best. i also tend to use it as a pillar fragrance with some of my favorite shampoo-y 'juvenile' perfumes and that brings in an incredible number of compliments from all ages. my favorites are lattafa habik and britney spears midnight fantasy, which lighten up this fragrance quite a bit and can be resprayed again in the evening to bump up the fruity notes without ending up wearing way too much perfume (as a re-spray would do). i really hate comments that this smells generic. at the end of the day it's a best seller for a reason, and it has informed your nose of what 'generic' is by being a great creation. but layering does help if you're looking to add something to it. four sprays is appropriate for the club in winter only. any more than that and i'd classify it as cruel and unusual punishment

This is one of my favorite new perfume finds after ignoring it for a decade. Perhaps it’s been reformulated to be gentler, I have a 2025 batch. Horrendous beast mode? Not to me. It’s no stronger than my Coco Mad Intense, Libre, Coco or many others. Of course, I spray once in the air and walk though, which is how I most love to use perfume, creating a light veil. I find it absolutely delightful. A jammy berry vanilla fading into a lovely biscuity gourmande adjacent dry down. But not warming, which I avoid. Also I very much appreciate that it seems to use a significant amount of natural materials. I get zero synthetic overtones, which I detest in so many newer fragrances. It’s really very nicely composed and of course I love Dominique Ropion creations anyway. Olivier Polge and Anne Flipo too. I definitely sense DP in this and even a little bit of his Amor Amor, which is itself a delight. This is a mood booster for me and contrary to so many others, zero headaches, zero stuffiness - just a joyful, whimsical perfume that makes me feel happy. Fun but not childish. Love.

I got a Lancôme La Vie Est Belle L’Elixir gift set that came with a mascara and a body lotion scented like the original La Vie Est Belle. The lotion had been sitting around forever because I never really saw the point of using it. But for some reason yesterday I decided to put a little on my hands. And oh my God... it finally happened. I fell in love with the original. I smelled it about two years ago and genuinely couldn’t understand why people loved it. But so much time has passed, I’ve learned a lot more about perfume, and now I finally get how beautiful it is. It’s powdery, floral, and sweet. The tonka bean and patchouli come across almost like chocolate. It reminds me of something so familiar from my teenage years, like the kind of perfume successful, elegant women with money used to wear. It instantly made me want a bottle to wear all winter. It’s pure magic in a bottle. Maybe it’s time for all of us to stop chasing niche perfumes for a while and rediscover the classics. You never know when you’ll stumble across a true gem.

This is basic, for sure. But it has really grown on me. This is a delicious winter scent, not suitable for warm weather. I had this in the summer and sold it because I hated it then, but I tried it again now in the winter and it’s something magical, totally different than what I smelled in the summer. The longevity and projection is insane. Initial spritz is very sweet but once it dries down it transforms into this fruity, powdery gem. I’ve gotten more compliments on this than anything else. It seems to be a universally liked scent amongst both men and women when smelled on someone else. I am growing so fond of this. It’s the same vibe as La nuit Tresor which I adore. I usually am a “new scent everyday” girlie, but I’ve been reaching for this one all week. Don’t overspray, max 5 sprays. The smell lingers on clothes for days. I also have Flowerbomb and while I see a subtle similarity, this is way more sweet and fruity. This is the scent I’d wear to a holiday party or Christmas gathering.

Ive had this miniature 1oz dabber bottle marinating in my sock drawer since I was about nine years old in 2010, maybe even earlier, and I’m now 25. I had HATED this perfume for the longest time because the only thing I could make out was “old” and “the mall”. It wasn’t until I tried it recently, after my early adult years were spent sampling and collecting various accessible perfumes, that I fell in love with it for the first time. It doesn’t smell like the mall anymore, just sweet, patchouli, orange blossomy goodness. The performance of this perfume is incredible. Even with my sparse applications from my little dabber bottle I’m smelling it with every movement I make. It feels luxurious, warm, and clean. I don’t get the hate on this perfume at all anymore, it’s such a creamy beautiful scent on my skin. Once I learned something as basic as how to pinpoint individual notes within a fragrance my palette extended to this just perfectly.

i initially smelt this perfume for the first time at the airport; it took me a couple seconds to actually be able to properly smell the fragrances notes but i think it is just beautiful. normally, i absolutely hate and cannot stand gourmand/sweet/vanilla perfumes, however i think this one is wonderful. it’s sweet, but not overbearingly so, with an alluring, plush initial scent. it dries down to a more woodsy scent in my opinion, but still keeps the softness. i sprayed it on my hoodie and i could still smell the strong fragrance after my flight and for maybe 3 days on the hoodie. though it sounds stupid and cliche, i truly think this could be a ‘princess’ perfume. it’s feminine and i think it’s perfect for any age group, but probably is most appealing to ages 16-25.

La Vie Est Belle has been around "forever," but it is reliable and remains a cornerstone of women's perfumes. It is sweet and feminine, and I can smell flowers, fruits, vanilla, and a touch of praline. The patchouli gives it a solid and earthy sweet base; I like patchouli, so I don't find that this is too much. This perfume is exactly what it says on the bottle: a positive and upbeat fragrance, with great performance. I enjoy it, and had to get the shower gel and body lotion; the body lotion is well worth it as very strongly perfumed. Although the scent profile is incredibly familiar, I don't really smell it when I am out and about, or in the office. I guess, like Coco Mademoiselle, it is "out of fashion," which makes it even more perfect. Love it 🍐🫐🍫🧁🍃🩷💕

My favorite first perfume I've ever bought myself. I blind bought this on a plane in 2013 because I wanted a perfume and this one was pretty. I was a kid. I loved this so much immediately. It's a very sweet, intense vanilla, almost feels gourmand but it has the harshness of the black currant a lot of Lancôme perfumes have. I remember wearing this daily, showering, and it never leaving my skin completely. It feels to me like a very intense, feminine, rich and full of personality scent. I do understand it can be a bit too intense and sweet for some people, but I loved the way you can smell this from miles and know it's LVEB. This is THE GOAT, modern classic. I read someone say it's a "good girl loves dessert" scent, and oh my God, yes! Hahaha so accurate!

I totally agree with the user who said this is like the essence of a ballerina. This is like if ballet were a fragrance: powder pink, silky, elegant but strong, pretty. As a huge Flowerbomb lover since it's release, I found myself very struck by how similar LVEB actually is to it. I had read the comparisons and prepared myself, but it still surprised me that it they are so, SO alike. There is something perhaps a little more gourmand about LVEB. Flowerbomb leans slightly younger; LVEB more mature. The flowers of Flowerbomb are ditzy, or like an excited, confetti-like flurry of petals; the flowers of LVEB are more like full, stately blooms, or the Enchanted Rose in Beauty and The Beast. LVEB and Flowerbomb are really like a mother and a daughter.

@GreyChypre----Your review was so persuasive that I went on ahead and purchased a FB just a few minutes ago. For a couple of years, I’d been dilly-dallying with the LVEB flankers (LVEB L’extrait & LVEB Nude)—both of which I adore like that one friend who always laughs at my shenanigans. BUT, I always thought the OG LVEB was a bit too basic for my nose—even though I’d sneak whiffs of my sample and low-key covet it like the last bottle of vanilla infused maple syrup at my local Costco. Well, plot twist: I’m here to confess the OG LVEB is pure magic on my skin. That sweet, chocolatey patchouli and iris combo? Chef’s kiss! So here’s to the ladies who arrive fashionably late, but trust, we never just enter a room...we make an entrance. Cheers! 🥂

La Vie Est Belle: Life Is Beautiful. This fragrance is absolutely beautiful. Alluring, feminine, pretty and sweet. This fragrance opens with the juicy, fruity, gummy, sweet pear and black currant. Very delicious and captivating. I loved it instantly. It then develops into a more powdery, soft smell when the iris note comes through, lingering with the gummy fruit from the opening. When it dries it becomes a little bit creamer with the praline and vanilla, still powdery from the floral notes but with less juiciness from the fruit. I really love this. I just kept sniffing my arm and as it develops it becomes even more beautiful. The sillage on this is fantastic. I could smell it through-out the say from just one spray on my wrist. Gorgeous.

I’ve been using it consistently since 2012, and it will always have a place in my collection. Despite how many negative reviews this perfume receives and how much it is disliked, I’ve experienced the opposite many times even in 2026. Even people who openly say they hate LVB , have complimented my fragrance and asked what I was wearing — without knowing it was LVB (I don’t tell them). I believe it smells different on every skin and with every body chemistry. As someone who genuinely likes it and doesn’t care about prejudice or trying to be different, I will continue wearing it as my signature (Definitely do not wear it in summer — I don’t use it in summer either.), and I know that every time I do, people will like it like I do.

Any time someone says this masterpiece is "basic", over-worn, etc. I honestly have to roll my eyes. It may be popular but it's not that bad y'all. For all its popularity, absolutely no one around me wears this, and though I may not live in a big city, I also don't live in a small area either. I am the only person I know who wears this. That said, I can understand completely people saying this fragrance is too sweet or headache inducing. It is very strong and very sweet. You have to like that sort of profile to get along with the Belle. Unfortunately, I don't seem to get the projection and longevity that other people get from her. Maybe I just go noseblind? Maybe I got an old bottle? I can't seem to figure it out.

For me LVEB is so beautiful, warm, elegant, and womanly. Every time I wear it, I feel the class and elegance in its sweet-floral aroma. I receive also very frequently compliments because of this beauty. Today, for ex., in a meeting, 2 workmates asked me for the name. It ́s very popular indeed, but I don ́t care!!!! LVEB makes me feel beautiful, classy and special and at the end of the day, I carry the perfume, it ́s not the other way around. We were born special with LVEB or without it. The time is too short, so let ́s enjoy what we want. If you like it, go for it. It ́s beautiful and it offers also very good flankers in the pipeline. Projection and Longevity are awesome. A classic for good reason!! This is a compliment magnet and has all you could want: warmth, sweetness, lasting power. I smell it from time to time on others and it just draws you in entices you. I had worn consistently a few years back and when I smelled it on a woman in my office the other week I immediately stopped to pick it up on my way home and am so glad to have it back in my collection. This is the type of fragrance that lasts days on clothing and when I brush my hair in the morning I get the most pleasant whiff of fragrance from the previous day. Beware to over-sprayers (such as myself) a little goes a long way!!

i like this, i totally understand why its popular. opening is a bit spicy, then the sweetness comes out over time. its not too strong, but it can be with a few more sprays. it has some staying power. the dry down is powdery, almost musky, almost chocolately, tonka bean i think. it gets better the longer its on the skin. the initial spray is NOTHING like the scent on the skin even after a few minuets. the iris is hypnotic and stinky in a good way. i think this is a safe blind buy, its entirely unoffensive. maybe its boring but i think thats because its classic. this is so elegant and girly, i might buy a full bottle.

O La Vie Est Belle se tornou o perfume da minha vida. Ele é um perfume doce na medida certa. Sua nota atalcada não remete a um perfume antigo ou envelhecido; pelo contrário, transmite elegância. Não sinto cheiro de talco de maquiagem, mas uma textura cremosa e sofisticada. A flor de laranjeira dá um toque perfeito, enquanto a baunilha no fundo completa a fragrância com maestria. É um perfume intenso, ideal para a noite. Porém, em dias frescos, duas borrifadas durante o dia, com moderação, funcionam perfeitamente. Para mim, o La Vie Est Belle é um sonho. Estou apaixonado por essa fragrância.

One of the priciest fragrances in my collection, but I do love it. Its a classic fragrance for a reason, the richness of the plum and pear, tied with the gentle warmth of the patchouli and praline is lovely. When I initially read the notes I didn't see the vision, but after testing it in store, I was impressed by the longevity enough to invest. Potentially controversial, but I do feel it is overpriced for what it is, and loses much of its complexity in the dry down. However with that said, I will continue to love it until I eventually run out.

I don’t care if it is one of the most popular perfumes out there, I love it. It’s warm, sweet and sensual. I always get compliments and people regularly ask me what I am wearing and are surprised when I say LVEB. I think the problem is many people overspray it, I just put a small dab on the inside of my elbows and it lasts for hours. I have been wearing it regularly for the last 8 years and I am only on my second bottle. Treat LVEB with respect and it will love back. Overspray and it will give you and everyone around you a blinding headache

When I first unboxed this fragrance, the patchouli was very strong, almost nauseating (I don't really like patchouli). I had let it sit in the open for a few months before picking it up again and I have to say, it's one of the most versatile scents in my collection. It smells fresh but also sweet, very fem scent. Perfect for almost every age group, every season, everyday wear. Its a very sophisticated smell, very graceful yet bold. One of my favorite everyday perfumes, I will be repurchasing.

I only just heard of this a few months ago and had to get it. It's incredible!! I love a strong perfume. The opening is horrible and pungent so I only came to love it after giving it time to allow the sweetness to come out. Also, I loooove me some patchouli which is very loud in this perfume. It isn't for everyone! (it's funny how someone below me said it isn't pungent... Yes it is, for about a half hour, but gets better lol)

The very first signature i bought alongside chloe, and this one taught me how to appreciate perfumes. I didn’t find it overwhelming despite the reviews, but the more I sample other scents the more I can see what others mean by it. Still, I’m not put off by it. I will forever hold this as my gateway perfume. It is classy, feminine, confident, beautiful! It will always be a love for me!

I have probably reviewed this before but will again. This is not granny and if it is then granny is a bad b! This is sexy, sweet and strong. Somedays i smell more praline and others more floral notes, depends on my nose on that particular day. I will never not have this in my collection and in my opinion lancome perfumes are just tops! So well made and so long lasting.

Definitely a love, and maybe a perfume that I'll have to buy asap. Fruity... blackcurrant, blackberry and pear in the opening... rose, jasmine, iris in the middle... vanilla, caramel and patchouli in the base. Yes, it's extremely sweet. Yes, it's a bit much... but that's exactly what I want sometimes! Lasts ages, projects beyond what you expect. Blam!

Got this as part of a miniature lancôme set. La Vie est Belle is such a pretty, sweet, and feminine vanilla floral perfume. Think of the classic woman's perfume. On my skin it settles into the notes of vanilla and patchouli, with a touch of the florals and freshness. Feels classy, girly and the bottle is adorable. Might get the full bottle some day!

I love it and have been wearing it a lot recently. It’s just the right balance of sweet floral and musky that I like. Very pretty and feminine. Just go easy with it though. 3-4 sprays is plenty, maybe even less sprays in Summer. I have a theory that if you loved Vera Wang’s Princess as a teen (or even as an adult) you will probably like this too.

This stuff is STRONG. One spray is plenty, I almost wish it didn't come with an atomizer. Its sweet and fancy. The patchouli is juuust on the line of being enjoyable instead of pungent. I know people love to hate popular things, but this one is popular for good reason. It definitely needs a gentle hand or you could easily fill a room.

I don't think this smells nearly as dated as people claim, I think testing this on yourself makes a massive difference. On me this smells sweet without cloying, people are surprised when I tell them I'm wearing La Vie Est Belle because they assume it smells like auntie, honestly a try it for yourself kind of fragrance.

My forever favorite idc if some people say it's overrated it'll always be my signature scent it just works perfectly well on my skin too bad it's too much for hot weather but nonetheless I really love this it's a beast and the dry down is divine for me. I love layering this with B&W fairytale or ivory cashmere 🙌🏻

I do not understand why this isn't rated higher, this is my fav of alllll time. Have gone through so many bottles and I have a very large collection. This never fails to get compliments, I bought my daughter a bottle and she also loves it and gets so many compliments. Just stunning and sweet and strong

The first time I smelled this was in a magazine when I was 17, and I wanted it SO bad. Every time I spray it it brings me back to that time.. it's not as great as I remembered but absolutely a wonderful scent for a teen girl. 1-2 sprays maximum, great projection and longevity. Can't go wrong!

Gorgeous nostalgic scent. Super duper sweet, a fragrance that I find one to three sprays goes a LOOOONG way. Not headache inducing which is kind of shocking, but be considerate of the people around you that don't like sweet fragrances when you wear this!!!

I always wear this fragrance when I'm in a good mood and feeling playful. The combination of earthy patchouli and praline smells like soil mixed with chocolate. I can almost imagine myself eating it... :p

Im not going to tell u anything you havent heard already. It is massively popular for a reason. You just gave to try it. For me the patchouli isn’t overwhelming and the iris comes thru.

The initial spray is very floral with a bit of sweetness, but on my skin it turns into a mouthwatering sweet vanilla in the dry down. I loveeee it. Max 2 sprays this stuff is strong.

Sweet and iconic. Such a likeable and mature girliness that Im yet to get over. Smells like a fond memory of girlhood. Had to leave my bottle to macerate for some time though.

Floral and sweet. I agree it has a similar vibe as Flowerbomb but less smoky and spicy which is why between the two I choose to have FB. Still, a beautiful fragrance I think.
