Ôff Now

This new fresh and meditative eau de toilette from Lancôme has seduced me. How relaxing! One of those calm and peaceful moments in these troubled and worrying times. A breath of freshness that I adore. It's a fragrance that may not please everyone, but it delights and soothes me. It smells wonderful for this very hot and humid Canadian summer. I am a man who has always been drawn to chypre scents and this very original EDT delights me. Francis Pellegrin, in my opinion, was very inspired and he succeeded in sharing with us a moment of tranquility, airy. Calm and harmony, that's exactly it, with the added freshness. In the same collection, Ôver the top (Carlos Benaïm) is very successful. I don't know which one I prefer between them. Without dethroning the original Ô by Robert Gonnon, a cologne that is timeless and still as extraordinary as when it was born. Three absolute gems!

Love at first sniff!!! Green, woody,, fresh, classy... Great scent!!!

It is a bit strange to see a green juice in a rose patterned bottle but still, the presentation is lovely. The scent initially the least exciting of the trio gains charm as it dries down. At first I smelled dill apart from the floral notes. It was actually charming and weird but with time I liked it more and more and now after a couple of hours on my blotter a true, amplified lemon verbena shines like a sun. So lovely, refreshing, floral, citrusy. It is with time the best of the trio and I have a hard time to decide which one to buy. It is done in a refreshing way. To accompany heat. Projection and lasting power very good. The scents from this series won't go unnoticed or at least shouldn't. I think the line is special and very good.

It feels surprisingly complex. I initially smelled lemon, then some green notes, then pineapple and coconut and vanilla. It's not even in the notes. Smells green nevertheless .Very unisex. I like it, but it is a bit too sweet for my taste

Not really my cup of tea. Smells like a classic lemony men's cologne with a touch of vintage vibe. Strongly citrusy and bright. Honestly, it would make a better air freshener or lemon-scented candle than a fragrance I’d personally wear. 100% unisex, but not something I reach for.

Very leathery sandalwood. Leaning masculine in my opinion. Fresh and clean, perfect for hot summer days!

I had high hopes for this one but the experience was dissapointing. This is citruisy, yes, but I can ́t detect the verbena note - the green wiff is like fig leaf or dill. I find this quite strong. It's a pass for me. There are way more better cologne-type scents out there. For example L'eau revee -serie from Sisley. And Escales -serie from Dior. And Lancome's previous O-serie is far more better than this

I loooove Hesperides fragrances, fresh... I'm crazy about them! Especially with the weather we're having right now. It's divine at first spray. But I quickly get a whiff of a pharmacy smell and a mosquito repellent! In my opinion, you really have to try it before you buy it. I'm sorry, but I don't like it! Maybe it's my "personal chemistry" that doesn't pair well with this fragrance.

I used to love this but now I find it so offensively green. The verbena is really strong and pungent. One spray has my whole house smelling like some rotten plant. I'm gonna let it sit for a while and try again to see if I can rediscover what I loved about it. I used to find it so refreshing with a lovely woody dry down.

The verbena is great, but after the initial spray it smells like a dill, or a bit of pickles.

So effing gross. At first I really thought I liked it but it turns to this stinky plant smell that makes me want to throw up, as if someone put the most smelly herbs, all together at the same time and a handful of cumin or black pepper??? too bitter for me, been nauseous all day because of this perfume I HATE IT

The opening smells like cigarettes...

I thought I was about to test the OG Ô, only to realize this is part of the 2025 refreshed line. And once again, Lancôme is doing... things. Ô Off Now opens with a very peculiar sparkle. A little bit of pickle juice, a little sharp and, I swear, for a split second there’s this almost canned-fish moment. I’m joking (partially). It flashes by so quickly, but once it settles, it’s a clean, crisp citrus-green fragrance, very straightforward and very honest about what it is. There’s supposedly sandalwood in the base, but you only get the tiniest whisper, this is not woody in any meaningful way. It stays resolutely in the fresh green citrus lane from start to finish (morning light, lemon leaves, cool air). Simple but refreshing. Longevity is surprisingly good for an eau de toilette, but I'd say the way it behaves will heavily depend on your skin chemistry. On the wrong skin, I can definitely see it veering into toilet-cleaner territory. On the right skin, clean, energizing, and easy to wear. A nice scent, I just think that it needs the right environment and the right skin to unfold properly.

First the green juice in the bottle made me very anxious to try directly on skin so i sprayed it on to air, what an interesting surprise! Lemon&verbena goes very well together however its easy to lean into edc area , on this one however it doesnt lose its perfumey aspects. Drydown is interesting, as someone mentioned i can detect some fruits and creaminess from sandalwood and off now leans into soapy area about which i have no complaints at all, as i plan to wear this along my pure linen outfits a little bit soapiness wont harm the summery vibe. I tried but didnt detected dill or pickle or ‘bug repellent’ note. I think u guys are just highly effected by the juice color and vintage looking glass bottle. And i think its a feminine perfume, i cant imagine mu husband wearing it. Lemony and herby green opening and sandalwoody creamy fruity (still a bit zesty though) drydown. What can go wrong? Not groundbreaking but original.

23. May 2025 I totally agree with review below, very unisex, very in style of the vintage "eaux" from 70's. Bit bitter, green, citrusy, sharp, most close to the original O de Lancome of them all. Nothing groundbraking at all. I would say "O de Lancome" modernized. Turns into bit soapy at the later stage.

Lovely stuff! Don't understand the hate! The bottle looked vintage and it is a vintage chypre style. I was surprised to see it was launched last year. The opening reminded me of 4711 but with a biscuity aspect that reminds me of mitsouko. It's very pleasant and refreshing, without being boring.

The opening is a bit harsh but after some minutes it turns into a nice, smooth fresh fragrance. It’s safe and predictable but it’s pleasant.

The best of 3. Reminded me of sandalwood in LV Lovers. Quite simple, verbena not overpowering. Natural smelling.

In a style O de Lancome and Rochas eau de Rochas edt. Classic, old-fashioned, unisex, chypre vibe.

Too citrusy, refreshing, good for summer. reminds like neroli portofino/tom ford.
