Tresor L'Eau de Toilette

Today I came across the L'Eau version in a shop and tried it. I was completely unimpressed by the opening and didn't think too much of it. I even ignored it until I got home. As I bent down to take my shoes off, my arm was radiating a gorgeous smell that is still so hard to describe. There's something delicious and nostalgic at the same time, but I can't quite put my finger on it. I don't think it smells sour, I'm sniffing my childhood and a fragrance that somehow just fits. Maybe it's just a case of perfect chemistry, and maybe the hot weather also brings out the best in it, and maybe I enjoy it more because there is less powder than in the EDP. All I know is that I want it and that I would definitely stock up if I found out that it was being discontinued. If you stumble upon Tresor L'Eau de Toilette and decide to try it, my recommendation is to give it time before drawing any conclusion.

Nothing like the original Trésor... not even a shadow... Luckily I found, at the store, a hidden box of the old formula in eau déodorante concentration, a gem that captures every note from the original but in a breezy way. Will gladly be using it as a mist!

I have the leau de parfum. Why is this not listed?

I really like this one, since it must be one of my very few powdery scents . I usually don't like powdery perfumes so I don't collect them but here there heliotrope and peach mixed with the tonka create a very smooth and elegant trail, very powedery but also well blended and somewhat sweet. Absolutely nothing sour here ! I have a small bottle and I must say the bottle looks adorable . I don't get the negative comments, it's a very well made womanly perfume.

It smells like peach and apricot marmalade. It amazes me that being so different types of fruit, is very much like the central note of Kenzo "Jeu d Amour.The note of Kenzo is more powdery and creamy

On first spray on the first second I get that citrus then the peaches come out to play. Prominent stand out notes for me are the peaches and vanilla dancing in this thick creamy fragrance. I find it too sensual and best worn for nights outs but definitely not on the first date kinda like one with a steady relationship and wants to spice things up for your partner type as it is kinda strong. It may work for others but these kinds fragrances aren’t up my alley. Pass on this one.

Another victim of L'oreal's relentless pursuit of endless flankers. They've done it to YSL, Armani, and Lancome ad naseum. Tresor is a beautiful fragrance, but this one is so light, it barely resembles anything. No complexity. Nothing interesting. Just a boring perfume that smells like air freshener. I can barely even tell it's Tresor.

Sour peach glassy jam. Something like this.

For anyone asking why the L'eau de Parfum isn't in the database, apparently the L'eau de Parfum is the same as the Eau de Parfum. That's what I was told anyway, but correct me if I'm wrong. I'm not that familiar with Lancome fragrances so I was confused because I've seen some older boxes that just say "Eau de Parfum" and it seems current bottles of the EDP now say "L'eau de Parfum." I was thinking that the L'eau de Parfum is a flanker.

Sprayed this on and immediately thought "Ooooeeeu, Vintage." It's nice but not palatable enough for me to buy the full bottle because on my skin I'm getting something that smells dusty. Its just ok. I'm not craving to smell this or anything. Much prefer chanel no. 5 if I wanted to smell this type of scent profile i consider "classic"

Oh I love this! It is a. gorgeous thick combination of milky vanilla peach and apricot has great sillage and excellent longevity closer to an EDP rather than EDT. It leaves an amazing sweet and slightly powdery trail. The old EDT was too sharp but this one is just perfect

got this as a gift for my mother who loves the original Tresor. I thought it's the same and I got it as it was on sale. She was not happy with this one, as it smells different. She even claimed it suffocates her. So it's staying in a corner...

This one has been discontinued BJT I still have about 50ml left which I am using sparingly cause I do not want to run out.It is so beautiful sweet milky and powdery for an EDT it lasts many hours on skin,if only I could find another bottle.

this feels like a water-ed down version of tresor. tbh i think that's a good thing. tresor is nauseatingly sweet to me so this is much more wearable.

Does anybody know whether such version as "Lancome Tresor The Majestic Rose L'eau De Parfum" exists?
