Old-school green sporty from the 80's. It opens with lime and bergamot but the drydown is dominated buy a grassy, mossy feel with soft spicies; the deep is still green and soapy. Trophee definetely reminds a golf court in a rich club of the 80's. It's sporty but with an elegant touch. It can be considered dated and maybe it's not versatile like a sport fragrance of nowadays, however trophee is well blended, refined and can be a nice add in a collection. It's in the same category of old sport fragrances like boss sport, Lacoste pour homme or sergio tacchini. Moderate performance, perfect for spring. La fragancia fresca cítrica que sorprende por su duración y calidad. Se queda en todo lo que toca dejando un recuerdo imborrable. Cumple con lo que se espera de un agua de colonia. Cítricos elegantes, finos y profundos, sin los agridulces de la época, se desmarca con su aroma atemporal limpio y sexi que se adelantó a su tiempo, prediciendo lo que serían los aromas frescos de hoy en día. Es como tener un perfume duradero con estela densa, muy aromático y sensual con aire de caro pero con notas frescas y cítricas punzantes intensas. Es un aroma que engaña al principio por su simpleza, empezando como cualquier otra colonia fresca que se supone que va a desaparecer... Pero no, con los minutos se va asentando y mejorando en el secado de forma suave y que se vuelve un aroma con presencia que resulta muy adictivo. Una composición de libro, para uno de los mejores aromas frescos de los ochenta.

This was one of my first fragrances. For YEARS I have been trying to find an affordable bottle of Trophée Lancôme ... and seeing as it was discontinued a long time ago, it is hard to find a bottle, and most are very expensive now. I recently purchased Creed Royal Water, and I think it is 95% similar to Trophée Lancôme .. maybe a bit more citrusy in the opening... but if you loved and miss Trophée Lancôme, Creed Royal Water is THE replacement for it.

I bought a large perfume collection sold by a collector. I bought this fragrance in a 100 ml golf ball patterned bottle with a white rectangular cap. smells like unilever cif. I tried many times. I don't understand. It smells like a cif. Perfume may be spoiled. After 1 hour the scent disappeared. it didn't make any difference to my skin or fabric.

There's some rose in it, along with a touch of civet, making this very sophisticated spring and summer scent a little bit earthy as well as light. To me it's closer to YSL Pour Homme than to Eau Savage; and in a pinch, Aramis 900 could be a lovely stand-in. So sorry it's no longer in production!

Scored an old unopened bottle of this gem on eBay. I am often leary if buying anything from there but for an old discontinued fragrance that I knew I liked I just had to try. Glad that I did. It’s a unique safe scent which I am proud to have back in my collection.

If you like the Fresh and fruity smell do not miss. Eau Sauvage's darker and more long lasting one. Sport and casual style of the present offenses. Very nice and pretty but hard to find .. .. Overall 10/9 for like ligth masculen.ok

I wish this will com back to market. I was wearing this for a long period of my life, and I'm pretty sure the notes contained coriander. Have found some old bottles one of which is a splash.. proud.

Fantastic classic freshy which is not similar to recent summer scents. Ahead of its time the characteristic which is belong to the all old perfumes .

I wish this one came back in store...realy loved it back in the 80’s ...to me it’s unisexs. There is no other scent that can compare.

Why did Lancôme discontinue this fantastic perfume? One of the best eau de sport. Please bring this back.

shame it has just so few supporters in here. definitely one of my favorite fragrances. Overall 9+/10

Reviewing the vintage splash bottle with the golf ball stopper. It opens with a citrus note, not far from Eau Sauvage, followed by lavender with some basil and jasmine. Along with the jasmine I also get a pretty clear note of marigold though it is not listed, which gives it just a tiny tiny resemblance to Hugo Boss Sport. After this, it dries down to a great grassy-green chypre on a musky base of vetiver and patchouli with a decent shot of moss, which actually smells like another kind of moss than oakmoss, not sure what kind it is ? The scent is big, but not loud and very well-mannered. Overall, an excellent scent in a somewhat quirky bottle. Sillage is good and longevity is excellent, even if the bottle is some 20 years+. An impressive piece of work.

Quite a lame effect; of course, I’m checking the Vintage. A weak echo of Vintage Eau Sauvage, YSL PH, and other aromatic citruses. Pleasant, old-fashioned talk about citrus with greenery, a bit of candy, but maybe too much like from an old wooden drawer. After a while, it becomes a nightmare. Maybe something broke for me here, because it reminds me of a broken Erolfa from 2008. Anyway, one way or another, it doesn’t beat anything.

Bought brand new but secondhand online because it was 200¥, I am not sure how I could wear this outside without smelling like I’m a century years old, there’s no way I’m the only one getting a grandpa vibe from this one.

Review of the vintage version from 80s The scent of a genteel, rather young, kind and attractive golfer in the middle of a golf course. The cool breeze of spring takes his perfume to distant areas. Trophee is a good example of sporty and casual perfumes of 80s. It is a well-blended and gentle mossy-citrusy fragrance with a soft breeze of floral notes with a cozy sweet base. In a sense it can be regarded as a soft soapy-green perfume as well. It is really an uplifting and relaxing frag, giving you a sense of happiness and enjoyment. It's a pleasure to wear it in spring and cool summer days in your leisure time . Trophee may smell a bit dated for those with modern tastes, however it is a real hidden gem and a masterpiece in its own genre. I wish it was never discontinued. تحلیل نسخه اصلی و اولیۀ کار از دهه 1980 میلادی بوی گلف بازی نسبتا جوان و جذاب و مهربان در وسط زمین گلف که نسیم خنک بهاری شمیم عطر وی را با خود به دوردست ها می برد. تروفی یکی از نمونه های خوب کارهای اسپرت و کژوال دهۀ 80 هست. کار بسیار خوش ترکیب و لطیفی هست در حوزۀ کارهای خزه ای-مرکباتی بهمراه نسیم ملایم و روح بخشی از نت های گلی با پایه ای شیرین و دل انگیز. از یک جهت تروفی را می توان کاری صابونی و سبز نیز دسته بندی کرد. حقیقتا کاری است فرح فزا و دل انگیز که به انسان حسی مسرت بخش و شادی آفرین می دهد. مصرف آن در روزهای مطبوع بهاری و خنک تابستانی در اوقات فراغت بسیار لذت بخش می تواند باشد. تروفی برای ذائقه های مدرن ممکن است کمی قدیمی بنظر برسد اما تروفی گنجی است پنهان و شاهکاری در سبک خویش. ای کاش هیچگاه تولیدش متوقف نمی شد.

I want to preface by saying that it is such a gamble to seek out a vintage of a citrus-heavy fragrance, due to the high likelihood that it has turned. My vintage bottle of Trophée Lancome is startlingly intact and must’ve been kept consistently in a cool, dark, dry place—even the color of its juice suggests that it has seen very little light. This is sheer luck. Limes and lemons open up Trophée with a green petitgrain undercurrent. As I smell this, I must say again how impressed I am with how fresh the citruses still feel in this bottle. I have released sunshine that has remained inside for so long! A jasmine with herbs and a touch of spice accompany the citruses and as they join this chorus, I sense there’s even some rose and civet, just a dash, and a pleasant surprise. It’s still green and zingy, like the swipe of a golf club. In the dry down, the chypre structure of oakmoss and labdanum is evident, and it feels like the earth under a bit of torn lawn. Fore!!! It makes me feel like...I’m alright, nobody worry ‘bout me! Cue the dancing gopher.

At last we have this Gem with us at Fragrantica. Juicy lemon leads to a humid jasmine trail, fresh but kind of voluptuous in a way.I sense anise although not listed. Good sillage for a "Sport marketed" scent, It ldoes last. If you like Eau Sauvage you'll like Trophée, maybe it doesn't have the "aristocratic finezza" of its Dior counterpart but has lots of personality, it's not only a Sport scent. However, Do I have the feeling it's been reformulated, I remember this more lemony in the past, is it more indolic now? Anyone knows?

I got a vintage (late 80s) set of popular at that time scents. Trophee was one of them apparently. It smells like lemon candy to me. Fresh, mildly sweet lemon note, some herbs (Basil most likely). Similar to Armani Eau or Eau Sauvage. In my opinion, a timeless kind of scent without "grandpa" vibe, but nowadays everything that is not aquatic or sweet is for old people, right? I'm 31 and I prefer classic colognes. I'm tired of Sauvage and 1Million.

Everything an 80's chypre is supposed to be. Love the strong oakmoss, herbals and citrus. I cherish my mini bottles (with the golf ball dabber). I always scoop these up whenever I see that coffret set for sale which contains minis of Cacharel, Drakkar Noir, Polo Green, Armani Pour Homme, Sagamore (or Minotaure), and this beauty.
