Modern Princess Blooming

Can anybody tell me if the osmanthus is prominent please? Anybody? Am worried because I had 2 perfumes out of several hundred that were gorgeous until half an hour in when the prominent osmanthus bloomed & amped on my skin (& I couldn't bear it; I don't like peach in perfumes & the osmanthus smelled almost like "sweat" but "peachy" (& I had to sell them - one of them was an amazing perfume, gorgeous notes - except for that; it did not smell good.) Some ppl wore that perfume & the gourmande notes were more prominent but about 40% of ppl got a smidgen of gourmande & then unpleasant odour like flowery peachy awfulness - & it wasn't wearable "just spraying on clothes) Still - if this isn't strong in the osmanthus I really want it - some Lanvin still have that special something that other perfumes don't have - as Guerlain has "Guerlain-ade" Lanvin have their special parfum base (but it's rarer these days - some of them are not expensive smelling nor decent quality but some really are, still. ) I have Modern Princess Original (lacking in longevity unless on clothes & on clothes it's mostly apple; am trying to figure out how to layer it & am thinking rose, because it's a bit too "sour candy" & not enough "marshmallow" (although I'm now leaving it to settle in a slightly warmer than cold storage cupboard for a few months - in search of it's gourmande notes - this oftentimes works the new vanille(s) & gourmandes that are "less expensive" (& some of the expensive ones!) need that to "settle" molecularly & to reveal those notes, currently it's mostly top notes ie apple. Would really like this one though - if the Osmanthus is you know, none existant - could somebody let me know please; I trust fellow Fragranticans judgement far more than the (often) dodgy "reviews" on various Perfume selling Websites that you just cannot rely on. This is the only fragrance with a prominent watermelon note that I love. It is well blended, and while it is definitely extremely sweet, it is smooth and pretty. As a reference, I do not like Batik (Extremely screechy) and I am still waiting for AA Coral to macerate before making a final judgement (it is currently screechy).

I was looking for a perfume to switch it up. Something sweet but fresh, nothing over the top and this was it. A subtle flowery + fruity scent perfect for eveyday use. Watermelon and roses thats what it is.

Joyful! Lasting spring/summer scent of watermelon syrup. Very similar to Sorbetto Rosso, which I like.

Skin test, summer. Without reading notes: lovely airy fruit - not the heavy cooked kind, nor the shampooey sort, just iconic and clear. White or yellow fruit, with juice, liquidy though diesnt feel like an aquatic. I'd say there are woods and leaves in the background, though the fruit is champion. I have no idea what florals there are, only I dont believe they're lush white florals. *juicy fruits *clean florals *some quiet branches and leaves however theyre not recognizable specifically. Now I've looked at notes: the citrus isnt dry or pithy, nor tangy nor zesty, its mellow and a general fresh clear fruit. The watermelon isnt screaming I'm a melon, so probably no calone here, it probably just lends a wateryness. Grapefruit must just be a whisper. Cedar is very delicate, the musk isnt musky but a cleanness, overall a clean floral fruity. Will edit longevity later

Smells like a hint of watermelon and lots of florals combined. I layer it with D&G L' Imperatrice to achieve that juicy watermelon scent. Its fresh, sweet and youthful.

Girly and naive perfume. Surprisingly long-lasting. Watermelon bubblegum. Could be daughter of L'Imperatrice 3 by D&G.

Don ́t get me wrong. I do love the fragrance. What I don ́t like is its lasting power. Which is none /at least on me/. The first spray is amazing, I smell the mouth watering watermelon. But then it slowly changes to nothing...What a shame. I would love it to last forever.

I urge to try this one when it came out as it is mentioned to be watermelon perfume which I love. As I live in the country where ripe watermelon is selling like everyday fruits, I get used to its scent really well, so refreshing for summer hot weather... and back to the point, this one has nothing like watermelon to me. It's more citrus perfume type with sharp opening note with nothing quite remarkable. I really love the modern princess edp one but this is a pass for me.

Disappointment. I saw this new fragrance here at Fragrantica. Main accords were awesome: aquatic, ozonic, fruity - just like in my favorite Mexx Fly High. I was lucky to buy a sample from one of my favorite online shops... Nothing ozonic or aquatic. It's like a smell of a chewing gum "wild berries" with an artificial water-melon mixed in. Nothing else really. It's an accurate description. The only good thing is that I did not buy a bigger bottle.

Fruity floral shampoo, definitely similar to L'Impertrice. I find both rather screechy!

i was a little worried about getting this due to some reviews & worried it may be too rosy but omg what a surprise lol..........i love this scent :) its fun, flirty, uplifting & vibrant :) it def a fruity floral but i love the watermelon addition in it - it gives it a juicy melon vibe & im soooo glad its not rose overloaded lol............to me i think it fits the other 2 scents in the line its a super easy to wear scent - perfect for spring or summer but wearing it in fall or winter would be great too - it would surely give you a uplifting & happy feel :) i think i have a new favorite ingredient - watermelon yum :) on me i get watermelon & mandarin & white musk & more jasmine than rose yeah lol so for me this scent worked well............and actually u cant go wrong with lanvin - they create such wonderful wearable scents :)

There is nothing in common between this one and the original Modern Princess。 This is more like a teen version of the original Issey Miyaki scent~maybe it’s because of the aquatic notes and watermelon, a cyrup dripping version indeed that is way too sweet for my liking but sure good for watermelon scents lovers。
