Balade Tiare de Tahiti

Out of all tiare flower focused perfumes I have ever sampled/smelled, Balade Tiare de Tahiti is a stand out because it smells different than the rest. I am sure that the fact that is feature quite heavily (besides tiare), rose, peonies, jasmine, gardenia and honeysuckle has to have something to do with this. I wouldn’t say that it’s just a tiare flower scent because of that aspect, but a white floral/rose/ peony scent with a juicy, sweet, citrusy opening and a clean, crisp, soft musk/sandalwood base. Yes, it’s a floral lover dream scent and uber feminine and gorgeous, but it doesn’t transports me anywhere tropical, like I would expect from the name: Tahiti. Makes me think more about the South of France, Grasse region. I wish it would be more easy accessible and more affordable because I want a bottle. Even though it was released more than ten years ago, I haven’t heard anything about it, or the entire brand, until this summer and I can’t get it unless I am shopping for it on Jovoy or L’Arc website for full price. Which is kind of steep, these sites don’t do sales unfortunately. I might be pulling the trigger for next spring though. It’s really beautiful and captivating! Seems quite strong as first impression, which is something very important to me especially considering the price. Warning: do not spray this perfume on lightly coloured clothes. It has a pink/reddish juice so it will stain your clothes instantly. Three hours in, it’s already a skin scent. Not tested it on clothing but on skin disappears too fast for how much it costs! Not that impressed anymore...

I was watching a you tube influencer explaining this purfume and I was intrigued to try. I was a bit scared when she mentioned its very sweet (I can get headaches from to sweet perfumes). In the end I blind bought it and Im so happy I did. Im a big white flowers lover. It starts of as a nice tangerine and rose scent. After a minute or two a beautiful honesuckle comes in and ads some light and joy to the scent. Slowly it gets creamy and warms up to a beautiful smooth and very well blended mix of jasmine, tiare and gardenia. The rose is still there but the mix is so well blended its difficult to distiguish the different flowers. I do get more of the tiare and gardenia that the jasmine if I try hard to smell each flower. This is such a beautiful feminine and elegant perfume. You can tell the quality is high and it smells like a high end niche expensive perfume. It has a certain depth to it that maybe is from the patchouli although this is not a patchouli scent at all. I can't detect any musk (which Im happy about cause I don't like musk). The drydown sneaks up very quietly almost non detectable with some sandalwood to set this beautiful scent in to a long time wearing creamy smooth very feminine and beautiful scent. This could be worn all year in any condition and occation in my opinion. Its different than all my other white floral and rose scents and the price seemed fare for what I got (paid 120 dollars for it). Higly recommend but its always best to try before buying (if you can, I couldnt in my country)

Balade is a very dense perfume. It smells sweet and dense. I believe that this is a versatile scent since it is strong and warm enough to be worn during colder months, but also sweet and floral enough to be worn during warm months. Very feminine, I do not see this on men at all. The juice that I have is very red so have to be careful with spraying on clothes.

Sweet, sweet, sweet. On the wrist, in the cool air: fruity sweet syrup, candy, soda. Not harsh or synthetic at all, but edges up to the line of cloying. It smells *nice* but I'm glad it isn't stronger. On the chest, warm, inside my shirt: some spice and musk notes come out. Tucked away under the fruit-candy fluff. More tempered and balanced. L'arc makes excellent, high quality perfumes; I'm still discovering which ones work on me (Chrysalide, Argentium) and which don't (Aventure). This one would be perfect on someone else! I might use the remainder of this decant on my laundry, though.

L'Arc is a company I discovered by a complete chance. I've never read or heard about it before, well until recently. Balade Tiare is such a wonderful fragrance and in fact it made me to want to discover everything else this brand offers. The fragrance itself starts very complex on my skin, it starts fruity and floral mixed with the tangerine and the rose. The interesting thing here is that the main players tiare and gardenia (at least how I assume they should be) are a little bit hidden, they are not straightforward heady, heavy and sweet, they appear but not totally throughout the fragrance development, they are there, I know, I feel them, but not how I would have expected such a heady florals would appear in general, I find somehow they are supporting all the other ingredients and not vice versa. The first time I wore this fragrance I received the most unexpected compliment from my husband that my fragrance smells very nice (he rarely likes my fragrances, well he likes some, but overall is not that generous in compliments). I really love this scent and I do like it from top to bottom, so that's a good sign:-)

This is quite a unique fragrance that also kind of smells generic. A juxtaposition I know, this perfume is very sweet. The sweetness in this smells like a generic sweet perfume from something like Victoria secret/ bath and body works. However, the laundry like white florals and the mild tangerine make this more unique. I had to double take what I was smelling. If you like a good laundry scent I would recommend trying this perfume. It’s a bit of a confusing perfume but it just works. You must like a sweet girly perfume to enjoy this one. I think it could end up being addictive as it’s so feminine

this one attracted me once i sprayed it on a plotter. quite interesting in away that it was quite unique to my nose. to be honest the color of the juice grabbed my attention right away. it is a combination of flowers and Tangerine. i can smell Turkish rose, lighted version of syrian jasmin, gardenia, and another element i can't define what it is! captivating and a bit strong. and it's around 4 hours and still strong on the plotter. quite good.

Wow that red juice! This is the closest I have ever smelled to expensive fresh linen. The really really good kind that has been dried out on the sun. Smells like the end of spring and the beginning of summer to me.

Everyone that claimed this perfume is SWEET lied 🙄 this is a white floral bomb 💣 clean, somewhat powdery florals, and the juice is DARK 🍷 so do not spray on clothes.

Is it a new addition of this perfume? There is information that it was launched in 2011 at most perfumery i-shops that I looked through.
