Evasion Digo de Havane

Funny that such an amazing frag should be so underrated. I've got a full bottle of Évasion Digo de Havane and whenever I wear it, its performance and quality wows me. It has some similarities to Naxus but Naxus can't hold a candle to it when it comes to longevity and projection. Right off the bat You can smell the darkness and depth of tobacco and then a bit spicy and edgy lavender that are sweetened and streamlined by high quality honey and vanilla. The woody drydown is so soft and delicate that you can't get enough of it. It's definitely unisex. This is one of my prized possessions. Ps: wanna tell you my own story about this frag. More than a year ago, I got Its sample and a couple of others from the same house. I fell in love with it the moment I got my nose on it but I couldn't find its full bottle anywhere. So I stopped searching for it and even thought about buying Naxus. one day out of the blue we crossed paths again and then I jumped at the chance and bought it. It was quite magical because I was telling a salesperson I desperately needed a special vanilla scent. Back then I was on a vanilla spree and he showed me this which was going for a song. can you believe this? I had to compare it with my sample to make sure that nothing fishy was going on and it was spot on. This was the one and only example of the law of attraction in my life. It landed in my life when I'd lost all hope of adding it to my small collection. To me, It's very special

So, Blind bought it recently after seeing it appear on Sebastian's YouTube Channel (Smelling Great) Came here for the reviews first and then after that - bought it. Been wearing it for a few weeks (3-4 times) and loving it more and more, each and every time I have worn it. Big fan of Tobacco based fragrances but also trying to collect ones which are different from each other. I own 1821 (Tobacco/Boozey), Zara Rich Warm (Synthetic Vanilla/Tobacco) Spicebomb Extreme (Sweet/Spicy/Tobacco) and have also sampled Pure Havane, Naxos, Comandante and PdM Herod. My opinion is that Evasion falls somewhere in between Pure Havane and Naxos. I personally think that is slightly better than PH, as in doesn't have that sweetness but at the same time, doesn't have that depth of Naxos. Having said that, by no means, Evasion is a poor cousin. It stands apart and how - on it's own it is Beautiful, intoxicating, smooth and might I add - sensual! Nothing heavy or sweet about it - this is one to own if you want to add a luxurious tobacco fragrance to your collection. I will def. add Naxos to my collection in the future, as IMO that is a masterpiece but in the interim, Evasion is magnificent. Have been enjoying it all day today - so soo good.

An easy to wear perfume. Smells airy and it does not projecting heavily. It is not similar to Naxos (I own it and love it). It does fall in the Layton family, no need to describe that (with Detoir noir and Zilli Cuir Imperial and many others). Evasion does smell, to my nose, of better quality ingredients, beautiful presentation, but I can't help not to feel disappointed... I am a big fan of Julien Rasquinet's work and this did not wow me as his creations usually do. I guess due to the resemblance with the above mentioned perfumes. It's good smelling, very versatile, soft projection. Happy I bought it on discount. Let's say it's a 'pretty one' rather than gorgeous :) Edit Credit to Julien Rasquinet, this creation is actually older than Layton which means the inspiration went the other way around <3

I'd call this a unique blend of Xerjoff's Naxos and Parfums de Marly's Layton. Yes, it is indeed closer to Naxos, but it clearly has some of the sweet-aromatic tones of Layton. It's priced well, it has great blend quality, smells similar to the other two with no overtly synthetic notes popping at me. Spring-summer-fall, leans masculine or purely masculine (depending on the wearer). Sillage seems moderate-to-strong, I would expect moderate though. Longevity 8-10 hours.

This fragrance does have similarities to Layton, but lacks the heavy, and sweet chewiness that Naxos and Pure Havane carry. It's a sophisticated, softly sweet, tobacco, lavender, honey beauty IMHO. The chocolate only adds a bit of dark richness to the tobacco. Evasion is unisex, well blended, smooth, and formal. Performance is good without diving into the beast-mode pool. A full bottle is in my immediate future!

Very nice. Smells high quality and performs great. At the end of the day the scent it left on my shirt really reminded me of le male elixir which is kind of disappointing since every other 12 year old wears that now. That’s a tiny silly complaint which might just be me, regardless this is a top notch frag.

This has NOTHING to do with pure Havana . I like pure Havana but this I like more . Sharp lavender dominates the opening . Later you will get chocolate vanilla with tobacco scent . Love it !!!! To bad the performance is weak ! Price is to much

Warm spicy, sweet vanilla. Woody++ lavender++, sweetness of cinnamon/tobacco leaf with chocolate in the background. in the dry-down this gets better and more smooth. Very nice scent!

This is my favorite of all five fragrances L'Arc brand. The smell of lavender and chocolate vanilla sauce.Beautiful gourmand! I love this perfume ♥

Similar to Thierry Mugler Pure Havane

First impressions is it’s a nice fragrance. I was getting top notes of lavender couldn’t really hear the cinnamon or tobacco much , the middle notes and dry down is where it gets even better with the vanilla honey chocolate , smells gorgeous. The vanilla is so well blended that on a good day in the spring or a summer that’s not too hot you could probably pull this off. Overall happy to have purchased this , needed a nice honey vanilla scent in my collection

This perfume talks differently to people, most of people smells the honey and sweetness....less find the tobacco leaves trace... so if u like honey, go for it... usually honey is feminine, not this one, maybe the hidden notes of cinnamon chocolate and tobacco leaves makes it soberly masculine... if you are looking for a cigar smell id suggest the Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille...

Idk how and why, but I tested an older (or newer?) bottle in local store that is black colored (as shown here) and it smells exactly like Layton. But myself I have a transperent bottle (like in fragram photos), not sure if its new or old version again and it smells like Pure Havane aka Naxos

I discovered this thanks to Moody Boo (the fragrance Nomad) and it is definitely one of the best tobacco scents I have smelled. It's warm but not too sweet, it has a hint of Layton, which reminds me a bit of aftershave, but absolutely unisex because everything in life is unisex

i took you for granted... i like this but didn’t love it , now my bottle is less than 40% i’ve started to appreciate it more now, nothing like this on the market

i love anise notes in away that makes me want to eat it all the time once it's there, but why when it's in most fragrances (except Marialux Mogaddes) it smells like dirty socks!! like for instance Passion Boisee by Frapin & this fragrance here! in L'arc Evasion Digo de Havane there isn't any anise shown above but it is the dominant note amongst all (the seller told me so but i couldn't define it on the top note). the top note spray was exactly like a vomit & beautified by sweet flowery soft note that tries to hide the stinks. i found it like a mix of good and bad at the same time. this combination stayed for around 5 minutes. then it calmed abit on my arm that made the anise raise up like a shooting star in a day light! i can smell the anise with honey and a purified naughty lavender, the vanilla starts on the middle note to rise as well but quite slowly in away that it can't beat the anise at any matter. after an hour or so the honey rises above them all and the smell becomes bitter honey sweet very light chocolate essence. an intelligent combination and kind of good blend (only if the top note didn't smell like puke!)

Bonjour tout le monde j'ai un problème avec l'arc évasion je vous explique. J'ai acheté un échantillon de évasion sur jovoy il est très similaire à Naxos... L'odeur me plaisait énormément j'ai donc acheté l'arc évasion sur leur site j'ai reçu la bouteille et le souci c'est qu'ils sent pas du tout comme l'échantillon!!!!!!! l'odeur de la bouteille c'est Leyton pdm a 98%! Je comprends pas ce délire je possède Leyton il sont identiques est-ce que quelqu'un peut me dire si il a eu le même souci Merci

This smells similar to Naxos by xerjoff but the tobacco here is less pronounced .. otherwise to me this is very close . But like someone pointed out , it lacks the depth of Naxos . I get about 3 to 4 hours on skin with moderate projection . Would not want to wear this is peak summers . Overall it smells awesome .
