Mémoire, Carnet de voyage

Mémoire was launched in 2015 and, despite its name, is part of The Voyage Collection, which brings together fragrances that portray Maître de Claude's olfactory journeys, different cultures, and their wonderful destinations. The product's full name is Mémoire Carnet de Voyage which means, in English, Memory Travel Journal. Mémoire brings, as a creative concept, a tour at Conca D'Oro, which is a grouping of communes created in 1973 and dissolved in 2015. Its fragrance was created by Julien Rasquinet, who has already given life to perfumes for brands such as Amouage, Histoires de Parfums, Masque Milano, etc. It brings head notes of bergamot, pineapple, cassis, and saffron, which make room for a more floral heart, with notes of lily of the valley, violet, rose, and cypriol and move towards a woody base with notes of musk, cedar, patchouli, sandalwood, and ambergris. When touching the skin, Mémoire presents one of the best hooks I have experienced in fragrances in recent times. This is because the saffron note is not very common at the top of the olfactory pyramid and, in this creation, it brought a blanket effect, which drowned out the fruity content and ended up generating a damp wood sensation. Here, Mémoire positions itself more as a male fragrance. However, the evolution of this composition is not very subtle, and the floral heart brings a more delicate side and breaks gender barriers. Then, the notes of lily of the valley and violet come together and completely transform Mémoire. The fragrance, which used to be fruity-woody, becomes floral-woody and remains so. Over time, many woody nuances appear. However, it's not sandalwood that reigns with its creamy facets, but cedar, more vibrant and with a sunny, daytime appearance. On my skin, Mémoire behaves with good versatility and great performance. The fragrance exudes consistently and the result, with noticeable violet and lots of woods, makes me think of a kind of ideal pair for the Boréale’s fragrance (for those who find it very feminine). Mémoire is that type of scent that combines expectation with reality, as it will make many remember you at some point.

شروعی شارپ و تیز از روایح میوه ای،چوبی که ابدا حِس خنک و شاداب ای نداره و کاملا مُعتدل و حتی گرم به شمار میاد زعفران وجه ادویه ای و شیرین بسیار واضح ای داره که در کنار یک رُز بالزامیک و تُرش و تازه؛نقش موثری در استخوان بندی کار ایفا می کنه بی شباهت به سیلور مانتین کرید نیست اما نسخه ای گرم تر و ادویه ای تر به شمار میاد که از نظر رایحه با اختلاف به کرید می بازه اما از نظر پرفورمنس پیروز میدان هست در نهایت با فراز و نشیب نستا کمی به درای داون چوبی،پودری و اسپایسی می رسه که حضور پچولی خاکی و گزنده در کنار سایر نت ها،رایحه ای همه پسند و راحت پوش ای رو شکل میده ************************ scent:6.5/10 longevity:8.5/10 sillage:7.5/10 purchase value:2/10 ****** overall:6.1/10

Starts bright and fruity, mellows down into musky and slightly fruity. Ambergris, wood and musk come out about 30 minutes in, then subside quickly. Unusually low longevity and sillage for L'arc. It's fine but nothing to write home about.

این کار رو تست کردم...کاملاً مشابه سیلور مانتن واتر از کرید هست...نمیدونم با خودشون چی فکر کردن؟ولی کار کرید یک سر و گردن بالتر و تر و تمیز تر از این هست!

Do yourself a favor and buy Eau de Cartier Concentree instead of this with almost half price, better quality and without that cloying rose note.

Very Arabian style scent. I would've taken it for a more adventurous (non-oudy) montale. Very nice scent from a great perfumer.
