Batucada

So I might be biased as right as I got my bottle in about a weekish ago I came down with a sinus infection so I couldn't truly appreciate this smell for what it is. So I have been anxiously waiting to try this scent for a long time. But now that I am all cleared up and I've smell it; woah. This is a super airy late spring/summer scent that is just delicious. As I have said in many other reviews I find it harder to like sweeter/gourmand fragrances, but this one is so odd. The sugar in it mixed with the underlying tone of salt really gives it this beach vacation vibe to it. Less of a gourmandy food flavor but like a delicious cocktail. Upon first spraying the sweet sugar, mint, and lime mix together to form this mojito like aroma that is amazingly intoxicating (pun intended). Then that blast dries down to add the florals and base notes. Now when I first read the notes I was expecting something a bit more feminine leaning, but it is perfectly unisex. It smells like unbuttoned Hawaiian shirts and linen bathing suit covers, mojitos in hand, the salty air whipping my hair, and the world at my fingertips. This EXCELS as a day fragrance, but I can see this being a boozy, bougie, and beautiful night out fragrance during the hot months as well. I can't wait to see how this performs under the high humidity and heat, but this is a vacation in a bottle. I can't really see anyone not liking this unique take on a summer scent. Be careful though, you won't be the only one intoxicated by this scent. My one complaint with this scent is that the giant mojito blast initially fades REALLY fast to an arms reach fragrance. It lasts really long overall, but don't expect this to fill any room besides the room you initially sprayed it in. EDIT: I wore this fragrance in Hawaii for like 10 days straight, and 1) it performed and projected amazingly! Super airy and wispy around me that makes it super beautiful 2) it's a major compliment magnet. Had a lot of fellow beach goers compliment me as they walked by. 9/10

Great summer concoction: sweet, flowery, citrusy...and oceanic good Batucada is a great summer fragrance. Certainly, it is not a linear one. During its initial phase, Batucada is alluring and unique, it feels like spraying a sweet lime-based drink surrounded by tropical flowers (unisex flowery). During its middle life it slowly turns into a sweet flowery and aqueous composition. Last, during its dry down, it morphs into salty skin fragrance. The first blast of Batucada is lovely. The lime scent is natural, refreshing, delicious, and sweet (due to the sugar note). This lasts for about 30 minutes. At this point the Ylang-Ylang and Tiare kick in adding elegance to Batucada, Also the mint shows up, adding a sparkling freshness. So within 30 minutes Batucada is in full swing and at its most captivating point. It is sweet, pleasant, elegant, and refreshing, perfectly suitable for hot, steamy, and wet weather conditions. These notes dance together for 1 hour. It's the best part of Batucada. I'm happy at this point. This is how I want to smell all day long on a Caribbean vacation If I had to walk all day under a searing tropical sun. I really like how it performs here in Florida where you don't want a perfume to suffocate other people or you from the heat. As Batucada approaches the 1st hour mark, the lime begins to fade away slowly, the Tiare and Ylang-Ylang stay, and the aquatic and salty notes begin to surface. This aquatic/salty combo accord makes my skin smell like as it does at the end of a day at the beach and salty ocean water has evaporated over it multiple times. I wish I could pick a little coconut in Batucada as some people report, but unfortunately I don't get anything at all. Batucada usually lasts about 5-6 hours on me. However, there have been times I can still get wafts of it much longer than that.

I get different results than many of the people below me so please know this is not a knock on anyone else since smell is somewhat subjective and varies dramatically according to skin chemistry and PH balance. What I get from Batucada is a fantastic tropical summer fragrance with solid longevity and sillage. I have never gotten the fishy smell that some others apparently received. Batucada can easily be worn by men or women and is almost like an island getaway for me that I wear casually or even to the office when I feel like I am in need of a vacation, but don't have the PTO time available. The accords above are pretty much spot on as I definitely get plenty of lime, sugar, ylang-ylang, coconut, tiare flower and a dose of sea salt. I don't get much of an aquatic or a sea water vibe at all though and that is fine with me as I own other frags that do. I find Batucada smooth, clean, tropical and extremely enjoyable. It shares a couple of the same notes as Creed Virgin Island Water and to a lesser degree Calvin Klein's Eternity Now, but is in NO WAY a clone of either one. Batucada does have a tropical island feel like Virgin Island Water though. Creed's Virgin Island Water is one of my personal favorites, but Batucada is a very different fragrance and experience that I do enjoy and can recommend to anyone that wants a nice tropical summer fragrance that makes you feel like you are on a far way island and don't have a care in the world.

To me this is a sugary floral, Tiare flower and ylang ylang with a thirst quenching hint of aquatic seabreeze and an exotic cocktail type feel to it. I'd largely disagree that this fragrance is all about the lime margarita thing which it does vaguely conjure up in the opening but soon becomes apparent Batucada is more about the flowers. It leans toward the feminine for me but do you know what...that doesn't bother me in the slightest. I love this fragrance...I really love it. Not sure I could pull it off with such a butch reputation to uphold, another wear and I may have an answer. L'Artisan is a good house offering quality and invention at a slightly more reasonable price this is yet another good one. Update: Oh yes!!! Wearing this today and I have cemented my position finally. I will be purchasing Batucada it's tropical wonder juice so, so good and really unlike anything I have currently. It was between this and Antigua which came in a close second place.

This is one of the funniest perfumes in my collection. Opens with green and marine notes, with caipirinha. Fresh, breezy, greeny, mariny and boozy but not the kind of chocolate cognac thing, this is summer booziness. The drydown is simply GORGEOUS. Smells like sugar from caipirinha just melt in your salted skin, what a sexy thing!!! I’m so lucky to own a 2013 bottle, i see that everybody complains about performance but on me it lasts forever. Altough when i opened the bottle it was very weak, but month after month it grew insanely and this is something i experience with l’artisan, first sprays are weak but fragrances become much much better after months and years. Also when it arrives from shipping, bottles need to settle down a couple of days. This is my personal experience, i love to wear this beautiful perfume in the summer.

Oooo this is nice...! What a beautifully crafted, delightful perfume. Batucada manages to be exotic without a tiniest hint of a tiki bar..instead you get an absolutely beautiful balance of lime, sugar, salt water and tiare & ylang. What a delight. This is a sauntering leisurely walk on the beach in the sunset towards a tall dark stranger, exchanging glances, ordering a cocktail and anticipating how the night will unfold. Gorgeous summertime perfume. After a couple of hours the citrus fades leaving you with a soft and sensuous sweet tiare salt water scent close to the skin - it would be fabulous if this projected a bit more because the scent is absolutely gorgeous. But can’t have everything..! A Stunning scent.

A tropical vacation in a bottle! The noses behind this fragrance should really applaud themselves.. I really enjoy when a fragrance whether it’s a perfume/cologne, a room spray or even a candle and it teleports you to a certain memory or a destination.. That is what this fragrance does.. At first sniff it smelled as if I was on a beach, drinking a mojito and enjoying the sunshine.. love at first smell.. I compared it to VIW and to me this is a more masculine version of VIW.. The coconut is in the background, where compared to VIW you get that sun tan lotion vibe.. This is simply amazing..A summer staple in my collection.. Very very well done.. In my opinion it’s a masterpiece! Rating 9.6/10

Fresh sweet wet fresh lime juice with a salted rim. It does have a sweet mojito flare but the mint is very light. This is a summery fresh light citrus perfume. About an hour in, some of the floral notes come out a bit, but they are very muted and almost spicy. Sweet juicy lime and salty oceanic notes carry through the fragrance. Lovely coconut that pairs very nice with this scent. I think its a great fresh, very citrusy, light scent that is super non offensive. GREAT in hot summer heat. Longevity is quite good! 8 - 9 hours

A sumer day on a beach... samba music and tanned bodies moving in a rhythm. Fresh citrus opening mixed with sun cream lotion and subtle ylang-ylang. A minty losenge dropped into sugary mojito drink. The composition incorporates a skin accord as well, which I can't smell, unfortunately. The scent is familiar and natural, stays close to the skin and doesn't project. Longevity on me is 8 hours, more than 10 on clothes. Test this before buying a full bottle. There are better alternatives out there. (score: 73%)

Full review to come very shortly, but ALL I can say right now is that this is one half of what I believe to be one of [if not] THE GREATEST fragrance blends in Fragrance History...... I may be embellishing somewhat, but please stay tuned for that revelation and please try to get your hands on this discontinued gem ASAP- I mean ASAP before it totally vanishes from the market..... The offer half of this blend is STILL very much available- at least since the last time I checked about a week ago.......

Absolutely love this one, very unique, wasn't a love at first sniff, it just grew on me for its original different phases. Perfect for spring or summer, fresh seawater, tropical flowers and juicy lime, the Davana note comes strong which give a sharp fresh green touch, taking the central stage. A very dry woody dry down, no sweetness at all, long lasting. This skin cocktail reminds me of Cachaça, the alcohol used in Caipirinha, interesting mix that takes me to the beach of my dreams :-)

Finally I found crispy, juicy and fresh lime fragrance! This fragrance with the lime and the mint note is a truly delight for the hot weather! And thanks to the other notes, it smells unique enough comparing with other fresh citrusy fragrances. The most noticeable floral note is ylang-ylang. But it is far from being intensive as usual here luckily. It's sweet a little bit sweet and salty at the same time:) This fragrance is my favorite by L'Artisan Parfumeur. Awesome!!!

Ordered this last summer on a blind buy. When it arrived I sprayed it on and it was meh, no big deal, not very interesting. Brought it back out now that the temps are warming up and WOW I am in love with this stuff!! The lime, sugar, mint and the sea combine to make a wonderful summer spritzer! Lime is the star of the show in the opening,then you get the sweetness of sugar with the salty sea during the dry down. I think I'll be wearing this quite a bit this summer.

I got this in TK Maxx for a good price. I really love this to wear on hot days. Its fresh, classy and pretty. There is nothing heavy or cloying about it. I love the lime, tiare and coconut combo. I dont find it overly aquatic even though many appear to notice it in the top three notes. It manages to last about 3 hrs which is not bad considering the notes in this. The sillage is moderate to but I've not really tested it in really warm weather yet.

when i first smelled it, i wasnt really taken by it. went to the store again and this time had it sprayed on one of my arm. have to say this perfume worked really well with my skin chemistry. even i and the store sales people were a little surprised the scent worked on me without seeming 'off'. my flatmate does say it reminds her of other scents, so im not sure how unique this is. but i love the smell and would be great for hot climate areas.

I happened upon a sampler of this, and there’s only one word for Batucada: joyful. It’s light, it’s floral, it’s citrusy... and there’s that rum and coconut vibe somewhere in the background, but none of it is overwhelming or oppressive. It’s not too much of any of those, nor too little. I’m not the manliest of men, but it seems to work very well for me. Definitely considering grabbing a bottle of this.

I really enjoy this juice. It reminds me slightly of Virgin Island Water from Creed. It offers a unique twist on the theme though with the addition of a more fruity opening. I feel as though when my 10 mil sample is all gone, I will get a full bottle. My Score 8.5

Fresh daily citrus combination. Fruity & rounded. Beach cocktail with surprising longevity. It's fast and agile with the mint-lime-sugar and a playful flower that doesn't stop like a rose or jasmine would do. Well blended unlsex. 8/10

Woah, am I the only one who actually thinks it's quite nice perfume? Citrusy, but not in a harsh way like many other citrus smelling scents. It makes me think of a lovely sea-breeze.

This is DELICIOUS!! I get pretty good longevity and moderate projection on my skin; 6+ hours. So glad I picked this one up!

I am sorry to tell that this is going to be discontinued very very soon, along with A LOT of other L’Artisan :-(

This was on my radar awhile back but reviews at that time complained to the extent that I scratched it off my “to test” list. I got a sample recently. Overall impression is that this is a fresh, slightly aquatic leaning beachy summer scent, but without the sunscreen vibes. Smells like fruit, sand, and something that comes off like sandalwood though there are no wood notes listed. The fruits are lime and coconut though what I smell seems more similar to lime and cantaloupe/melon. I get nothing fishy or animalic at all, though the only perfumes that tend to turn animalic or sour with my chemistry are actual animal musks/civet, patchouli, and occasional pissy white florals (usually only happens in vintage scents), so that’s not a huge problem for me. Opens quite strong. Dries down rapidly and within an hour it’s more of a skin scent. I like the scent a lot, but it isn’t my favorite from this genre. Unisex but slightly masculine leaning. Reminds me of aquatic mens cologne, more so than Virgin Island Water or Cocobello or other similar scents. I personally like VIW more, and I just discovered a new love, Hydra Figue by Miller Harris, which I’d say are similar to this scent but have overall blends that I prefer more. This is a lovely fragrance though and I highly recommend it for people looking for marine summer scents that aren’t too sunscreen-y.

Batucadas opening is surprisingly nice with is salty lime and bit aquatic/ozonic feel to it and I usually don’t like aquatic/ozonic scents at all but this kind of opening is one I can get behind! Middle is bit troubled in my mind; the nice energetic feeling of the opening is gone, freshness has more of a floral edge to it with ylang-ylang and what I assume is tiare flower. I hoped to get more sweetness as it works wonders for fragrances in my skin but I’m left with bit of a dry feeling, it’s hard to explain; this is bit funny as I thought Batucada as a beach scent. Drydown on the other hand is musky, bit salty and sweet; rather inoffensive. Longevity is quite good for lighter summer scent; it hangs in there most of the day. Batucada isn’t loud scent and I don’t really mind that summery scents aren’t sillage beasts. Overall I do like this one but I do not love it, that’s bit of a problem when there is so many amazing things I can get instead but still I am glad I got my nose to this one to finally get aquatic fragrance that I did like is great. For those that like aquatics I’d wager this is great fragrance and after the L’Artisans bottle design change there has been pretty amazing prices for Batucada.

I applied non-scented lotion right after showering this morning, waited an hour then spritzed Batucada, hoping to eek out a bit more time with it. My effort proved futile, nothing gained in terms of performance. The opening of this is fabulous, but from experience it lasts less than an hour. So I brought the bottle to work and reapplied during my lunch break. That first hour is magical. I pick up a bunch of fresh notes all hanging out together: lime, mint, sea salt, ylang, and a very light coconut essence. It feels exotic but not in a sweet, commercial way. If i was on vacation, this perfume is where the locals hang out. After about an hour it morphs into a skin scent. All of the notes are still there, but are now softer and rounder. I wore this on a warm Fall day, with temps around 70 degrees (unusual for us here in Seattle), so I don’t think it’s going to perform much better in Summer. I like it a lot, but the longevity issues are preventing me from loving it. I bought a 50ml for a steal so for now I will enjoy it in short bursts.

I may have to revisit, I think I'm anosmic to it. I thought I over sprayed initially. I got a blast of cinnamon and sweetness of unknown origin. Fast forward 2 hours, weirdly nothing discernible. I bought a sample as the notes listed here seemed like a unique combo for a beachy type scent. When I checked today, Batacuda is not listed on L'Artisan Parfumeur's website. Edit: another 1.5 hours have past. All I sense is a light and pleasant sensation of freshness without any particular prominent notes. Vaguely sweet and lightly floral. I can usually find citrus, mint, salt, and coconut in frags. But nope, none stand out. Must be nicely blended. I think I would like it if it had some oomph. Shrug. 7/22/23 - Edit 2: Definitely better in warm weather. Seems balanced. I like that none of accords overwhelm each other. Summer freshies typically have one dominant profile of herbs, citrus, water, or coconut. Batacuda seems more versatile and appealing to wear for more people. To me, it's more feminine due to sweetness present on the dry down.

A ticket to Brazil, one way, please! Oh, this is so good. A few weeks ago I tried ananas Fizz, and I was disappointed. Batucada is what I expect from a tropical fragrance. Fresh, fun, fruity, with some aquatic accords (just the right amount)and a little bit sugary. So many things are going on at the same time that is hard to describe it. The lime, tiare and sugar make an explosive opening,then the salt, sea water and mint bring a fresh burst while the sugar plays all the way. It feels like a rollercoaster, a wonderful one. The dry down is more quiet, like a sunset at the beach, when the sand is still warm but a light cool breeze starts to blow. Fantastic. After my bad impression of L'Artisan with Ananas Fizz, I have to say that thanks to Batucada I have a new respect for this house.

Absolutely love it at first, everything I didn’t know I needed, the signature scent I didn’t know I wanted. Very unique smelling, delicate balance of resinous sweetness and peppery spiciness and somehow-feminine salt. The mint is so subtle but adds a burst of freshness as it wafts around you. But it simplifies as it progresses and becomes a nondescript unisex sandalwood scent, very similar to DKNY Stories and so many others. If it stayed more like it is in the first half hour I’d scoop up a full bottle in a heartbeat. I would probably drain it within a month without even noticing the dust gathering on my other scents. But as it is I’ll nurse my samples and see how we go. And I will try not to think of what could have been.

I'm not sure how much I like this but it's certainly interesting. Very fresh/aquatic at the start then a salty-to me very salty-phase kicks in. This is the bit I like best but on both occasions I wore this a paraffin-like note appeared after 30 mins-1h and it's something I'm not terribly fond of. After this it's a mélange of notes I can't really separate well, smells ok but not great. If I put my nose close to the skin and breathe on the spot where I applied this perfume I get the sugar cane, something spicy and underneath it something vaguely animalic(not a bad thing in my book). There will probably be occasions when I want to wear this but it's not fb worthy to me.

A heady cocktail of lime, mint, coconut, and ylang ylang. The fragrance opens with a nice blast of lime and mint, with a hint of marine notes and sugar. The coconut and ylang ylang then kick in, and are sustained through the drydown. The whole mix is tempered by a bit of salt, to keep it from going into that sickly-sweet territory. Definitely a fragrance for the beach, with caipirinha or mojito in hand. While billed as unisex, I feel this is slightly more on the feminine side. I still enjoy it, however, and it's definitely a great summer fragrance. Longevity is decent, I get around 4-5 hours on my skin. However, this is a skin scent on me, with very little sillage.

Batucada is a very nice, friendly scent. I don't find it harsh or weird at all. It brings beach, ocean and fun to my mind. It's a kind of a sweet, damp, sugary citrus smell. I get mostly lime, mint and tiare. Actually, has a lot of 'mojito' feeling to it. When you finish your drink and there's some lime and brown sugar left at the bottom of your glass - you spear the lime with your straw, dip in the sugar and place it on your tongue. Delicious! But, somehow, I can't imagine myself wearing this scent. Although I could go for a party with someone smelling of it! :) I also think some may found it too mainstream smelling. Lasts about 3-4 hours.

Interesting fragrance...It starts out with lime, sugar, and mint...but doesn't really smell like a mojito...more like a candy of some sort. After drydown it gets more interesting..some of the other notes come through...salt notes, very light coconut, ylang-ylang, and the floral note. There does seem to be an herbal base that isn't listed...and it seems a bit piney and woody. I actually like that part. Longevity is surprisingly good given the main notes. I think this is for those that want something longer lasting and higher quality than Set Sail St. Bart's or something more interesting and less coconutty than Virgin Island Water.

Never been a huge fan on L'Artisan - on me they tend to either become very plain or soapy. But I've been looking for a summer citrusy fragrance for years. Standard citrus usually smells like dishwashing liquid on me, so I've almost given up. Reading reviews on this one I decided to give it a try. And didn't regret! It is tropical, slightly citrusy, very summery and lively! Despite all this it is not your usual spritz. It is very rich, yet fresh, doesn't give you headache (which is vital for me) and smell good on "hot skin". If you can't wear anything "fresh" and have to go for more heavy and sweet fragrances, then try this one.

It's certainly an interesting scent.. one I don't come across often. I allowed myself to indulge in a small sample just for the sake of breaking away from what to me is starting to seem like my array of predictable scents. First the marine sharpness hits me, then the citrus and lastly just fresh innocent sweetness. Lasts on my skin for about 5hours tops before I find myself fishing for my little atomizer again to refresh. Glad I got this in the small 4ml atomizer. Would love it as a gift, but to re-purchase again for the hefty price-tag.. I'm afraid I may have to let it slide in favour of Papillons also by L'artisan

This scent is nothing like Vanilla Vibes. Nothing at all. I have both. Batucada is minty, lime, and sweet. Vanilla Vibes is an obviously Vanilla, sunscreeny scent. They share a salt note. Batucada is very fresh and airy and Vanilla Vibes is heavier. They are nothing a like so I'm not sure why people would say they are similar because they are absolutely nothing a like. Batucada is lovely for a hot summer day. It's refreshing without being sharp or bitter. It does remind me of a mojito as someone else said. Great for a day out or even a hot night.

Review from a sample (dabber): Batucada opens with zesty lime, spicy and fruity, with a tiny hint of bitter lime peel. It reminds me of a tropical cocktail, it's almost a gourmand for me. Then the perfume starts to settle down and the florals appear, in a salty sea breeze. The lime keeps lingering through. Longevity is moderate, sillage is soft on me. Didn't get any mint or coconut. I can see how this scent can be unisex. I like it on me, but I'd also very much like to smell this on a man. Smells like a good party is about to happen!

I bought a sample of this for two reasons. First, I tend to really like aquatics. Second, I've tried something else with a lime-tiare flower combo and it was lovely. So I was very optimistic with this one. I liked Batucada. It was more than ok. I didn't get much of the marine scent listed in the accords. For me this was a feminine-leaning freshie, just without the sweetness that you often get in freshies. Not full bottle worthy, and I'm undecided about whether to keep the sample or give it away.

I can smell all the notes except the coconut, it is nowhere to be found. Overall, this scent is more masculine than feminine, yet still unisex. It smells fresh and sweet at first, the salt and aquatic notes come later. Unfortunately the aquatic note smells kind of generic, I've smelled it a thousand times in men's fragrances. It's a bit musky, masculine, and very synthetic. The sillage is low, longevity is about 4 hours. I'll probably use up my sample but won't buy a full bottle.

Batucada is a typical summer fragrance. It's sparkly and fresh like a sunny day on a tropical beach. On me it opens with lime then I can smell cocconut, sugar cane and something alcoholic that reminds me a cocktail but, after a while, on me it smells like a suntan cream. For this reason I don't like too much to wear this scent. But on the mouillette I find it very nice. It lasts on me a couple of hour and sillage is very poor.

The opening is very beautiful, fresh, energetic, tropical! a perfume for use in hot summer days! the favorite part remains the opening. Soft scent of sillage and longevity average in the base notes evolves almost "gourmand" .. sugar along with the mind remain "fresh" composition .. is not among my favorites, but could be better it smells good! Sillage: 5/10 Longevity: 6.5/10 Scent: 6.5/10 Overall: 6.5/10

For me it was a blind buy as I read so many good reviews about Batucada. I can't smell lime much, may be a little. and I smell a lot of ylang ylang. Very strong smell. I didn't like it at first but after using it several times I liked it. My husband likes it as well. I should probably try it on other people )))) unfortunately I can't wear perfumes to my work. Longetivity leaves much to be desired.

Funny thing is fragrantica mods removed Vanilla Vibes form “This perfume reminds me of“ on Batucada's page and vice versa. It was one of the most votes ones. Idk why they would do this? I got sample of Batucada October 2021 Because it was supposedly similar to Vanilla Vibes, when few months later it disappeared from the page ... Now I have sample of Vanilla Vibes and can confirm they are similar.

Unusual. A nice balance of sweet and citrus. Lime, quite rindy and fulsome, is the first note but it's not harsh - then mint (a green mint, not peppermint) then tiare, again not overdone. It is a bit like wearing a cocktail, but it's never sickly. I can't find any coconut but the final blend is salty, woodsy, subtly tropical and beachy. On the summer shelf, very pleasant x

At first this is a sour, fresh tropical drink, like a margarita or mojito. Like a mix of both with the salt, lime, and mint. Then as it calms down I get a milky, coconut milk feel to it although it still feels part of an alcoholic drink. Very boozy, refreshing, slightly sweet without being too cloying. Delicious! Great for summer. Lasts about 3 hours.

Saltwater and lime. A margarita at a classy venue, a sweaty summer sunset. Something pretty way off in the distance - ylang-ylang, too airy to be the coconut. Fades within an hour, rounds down to a barely-there sweet coconut. The longevity was terrible on me, but if you want a carefree, sexy skin scent for a tropical summer, this is luscious.

Great and zesty lime opening, and also quite realistic. Once the citrus fades away, you're left with the slightly feminine florals, which make this fragrance hard to wear if you're a gentleman. Nevertheless a very interesting, energetic and pleasant smell. For the brave ones - layer this with a darker fragrance and thank me later.

First off a big hit of sugared lime and some sort of mint leaf. Like you are about to sip a cocktail. Then I get the exotic flowers scent. There is something beachy there too. I think this is a summer perfume. It reminds me of holidays in the sun. Nice. Not something I would wear often but I like it.

mint, sugar, salt and tiare with some sea like notes. at first i get something mildly indolic, but it fades quickly. reminds me of a mojito but not quite as minty. as it dries down, the scent reminds me a lot of la source body products from crabtree and evelyn. nice and refreshing for summer.

I had this perfume and I am thinking to purchase it again, it’s definitely a summer fragrance. Smells refreshing sweet and sour, still has a fresh vibe to it. It reminds me of beach cocktails. It is a bit saulty but in a good way. Mmm takes me back in exotic holidays Maldives, Seychelles..

Salty, aromatic, fresh and full of lime and mint exaclty as a well served caipirinha should be. Original and unique. But I can't wear it, honestly. If I'm not mistaken it was released in June (at least in Italy) when I first sniffed it.

My skin must eat this, I am nose blind to it, or it is very weak. Initial scent reminiscent of limp mandarin orange peel/juice (No acidity or spark) then fades to a barely there fresh salty water.
