Riviera Palace

I can't believe that this perfume has no comments from these "great niche" lovers, because among many other hypocrisies L'Artisan Parfumeur it's a "maison de niche", is a brand that created in the style of the 80s-90s and 20s till very recently, at the last launches with the rose-rosy disappointed wa little, not necessary me because I'm not a big fan, if i had to name some favorite houses I would go on Caron, Rochas, Rue Rance, Patou, and others, but I'm sure there are fans who were waiting for more. In any case, Riviera Palace was my first perfume from them and I love it and still do because every time I find a bottle I buy it. Although there are only two notes, I can tell you it's much more complex, it is indeed an earthy chypre, with an ozonic green note which is very vibrant, I can't tell exactly what that note combined but it's a somehow Grape leaves with wet grass and something rooted, cardamom and wood essence lies over them like a blanket and from time to time a floral rain sprinkles on. It's very unique fragrance, I loved it and I will always, my every moment, every day, anytime, no inspiration no problem you can't fail with it fragrance.

This is a nice, very classy fragrance. The pyramid on fragrantica does not reflect some citrus, green, flowery notes with aldehydes projection. I also believe there is some white musc there. It is more Aldehydic Floral, than Woody Aromatic, though oak moss in it is just fantastic. I also agree with others that is it more in the vibe of Chanel 5, Lanvin Arpege, classic Miss Dior etc., it does not sound like 1990, more like 1950s. It is very well blended, neither note is more prominent than another. It smells old luxury more than any single note or group of notes.

My absolute favorite of all time. Does anyone know of a another fragrance that is similar? I still have a bottle but of course, it has soured a bit with age.
