Just bought a full bottle for summer! Jasmine, lemony green tea kissed by mint. I love jasmine flowers and jasmine in perfumes if it is well blended but I often find it overwhelming and a bit much. It will turn too heady, indolic, or heavy and will end up giving me a headache, or just boring me. I love the light touch used in this and find it very wearable. The green tea and citrus soften and lighten the jasmine and to me this smells more like the jasmine in my backyard than many other perfumes i have sampled. There is a slight bitterness to this and I find it less creamy than many "black tea with milk" or jasmine fragrances. I have had a hard time finding a light summer fragrance that was a true LOVE of mine, but this is it.

Lovely jasmine green tea with top notes of lemony iced tea. The jasmine is fresh. There is a beautiful green tea note, but I noticed that there was something else I was smelling that was much more intensely green than the usual green tea, and it was a tad bitter. Now that I see matcha in the notes, I understand completely. It's certainly a tea for hot weather. Makes me think of India or Thailand--somewhere hot and exotic. I love wearing this perfume in humid or rainy weather. Lasts all day on me, but sillage is unfortunately very close to the skin. I’d love it to project more. Note: I have the bottle with gold cap, from right before they changed to the black bottles. I hope they didn’t reformulate it!

To update even further from my past reviews, this has been a joy wearing during the cold holiday season. There are two parts I love in this perfume. The mint for one is almost mimicking the cold air. I feel like a polar bear with a candycane colored scarf . Secondly the burning smokey sensation of the tea notes. There's almost an incense like feel, but instead of pine it's the tea that's smoldering by the camp fire. The warmth and the cool contrast in an effort less way. A++ L'artisan thank you for such a beautiful fragrance!

Jasmine is the main player on my skin. True to life jasmine with the tea giving itself off as a smokey character. I don't smell the mint at all, but I'm sure it's playing well with the others because this scent really shines in my collection. It doesn't change much the longer I wear it. I would say that is it's only negative, just because it can bore me.

It's true, the jasmin and tea combination makes it feels a little astringent on the skin. A stern freshness. To me it's the perfect scent for layering tea in my other perfumes. The jasmin in my The pour un été is not indolic at all, I barely smell the jasmin. It smells like a green tea with light jasmin and that was the most important to me

what a beautiful olfactive category: aromatic green. it sounds so evocative of long haired herb smoking free spirits. the fragrance itself is green tea, lemon rind/oil, and something herbal.... i had thought this might be too "masculine" for me...but the drydown really fluffs up & mellows out and we're groovin....

This has the most luxurious green tea scent note. To describe it: It's like lying in under the spring-sun on purest light-green grass, while drinking a cup of ice-tea with fresh lemon. Where? = In a 1910-1920's English park, reading a Jane Austen novel.

This fragrance creates summer mood. You feel like you're in a citrus garden. Adore it.

Tea For A Summer opens with bright lemon and bergamot, a hint of mint, a little tea, and the perfume has an intimate sillage. It's genuinely unisex. Two and a half hours in the perfume is fading. It's still the citrus notes and mint plus a little musk, jasmine and a hint of tea. After four hours it's mostly faded and what you have left is the citrus notes with perhaps a clean musk underneath. It's all gone by seven hours in. As it's no longer on the L'Artisan Parfumeur website, I assume it's been discontinued for a good while now. It's pleasant but as it's very scarce, what are the most similar options? It's reminiscent of Bvlgari's Eau Parfumee Au The Verte Extreme but without the bite of the pepper and the cardamom sweetness. There's a similarity with Guerlain's Aqua Allegoria Teazzura but without the vanilla and chamomile. There's also a resemblance to Carthusia's Mediterraneo (mostly in the bright citrus and mint) but Mediterraneo doesn't have the tea. There's also a nod to Bvlgari's Eau Parfumee Au The Verte, Jean-Claude Ellena's creation that was responsible for the tea perfume idea back in 1992.

The Pour Un Ete from L'Artisan Parfumeur opens up bright, lemony and tea-like. For some reason my nose detected a whiff of pepper but that quickly disappears. As the scent settles, it becomes a powdery citrus tea. I don't seem to detect the jasmine note distinctively - perhaps it is there to add a mild floral sweetness to the composition.The drydown is just the barest bit more bitter than its opening, with a subdued citrus note. Funny thing is, I only started detecting jasmine prominently in the drydown. I thought the projection was fairly moderate for 3 hours - I could smell it whenever I put my nose close to my skin despite being out in the humid weather and in a place where food smells permeate the air. I own 2 other green tea fragrances - Elizabeth Arden's and L'Occitane's. This one is similar to the former in its clarity but smells more natural and powdery. The tea in this fragrance isn't particularly bitter like L'Occitane's. I will be back to comment on longevity and sillage after several uses.

This is the first tea scent that has worked with my chemistry! It opens with a refreshing blast of green tea and and a little mint, which reminds me of the green tea "pearl milk tea" I used to occasionally drink. Then the bergamot and jasmine begin to emerge, and eventually the lemon. The scent is so real that it transports me! I feel like I have my nose buried in a cup of fresh steaming tea. I keep smelling my wrist. The fragrance undulates on my skin throughout the day, rotating between jasmine tea, minty-green tea, and earl grey tea. Sometimes I even just smell jasmine and lemon, but mostly I can't decide which cup of tea I'm actually drinking! Would it be a bad thing if it were all three at once?

Thé pour un Été opens with a very comfortable citrus scent then moves to a combination of green tea and jasmin. The jasmin has a slightly smokey earthy vibe like the real ones. The drydown is a gentle sweet mint scent on me. A pleasant and soothing fragrance. However, it doesn't stay long on me. The tea and jasmin phase has a soft sillage and lasts about 2 or 3 hours max then comes the drydown extremely close to skin. To smell it at this time I have no choice but stick my nose on my arm. I thus suggest testing before you buy to see if it lasts on you, though I think there are still other intereting and cheaper green tea scents out there.

Slightly indolic jasmine in this one - I prefer it actually to those crystal clear, bleached out jasmine petals in other 'tea+jasmine' combos. In the drydown stage jasmine turns into EXACT jasmine used in Coco Mademoiselle - I certainly didn't expect that and it took me by surprise. As if Annick 'stole' some of that precious, Chanel-exclusive-flowers, grown only on their supervised fields ;) Overall - even though you know this theme has been done so many times before - it's original in terms of the use of this flower. It's the only tea fragrance that isn't shy to embrace some indoles in their refreshing juice. Well done!

A delightful warm weather, fresh tea fragrance. Unmistakeable tea note followed closely by the jasmine. Its a nice dry tea note. Citrus notes are listed but they are very weak. I can see why folk see similarities with the Bvlgari tea fragrance. It is a bit astringent but not overly so. I wouldnt buy it though because it is so weak and doesnt last an hour. I thought the Bvlgari tea fragrances were bad but this beats them hands down on being the weakest. So sad.

Most of all this fragrance smells tender jasmine with a little bit honeyed blossom dust scent. It reminds me Murmure by Van Cleef & Arpels because of the jasmine note, only in Murmure the jasmine note is more intensive. The green tea and mint notes are also noticeable in this fragrance and make it a little bit green. In general it reminds tender jasmine green tea scent. This fragrance is nice enough, but I prefer Murmure to it, because Murmure is more floral.

I have this perfume. It is, to my nose, just like the notes listed here. It has a pretty tea scent with some citrus (but not a lot). I can smell a dash of mint, which I really enjoy. I know it's listed as a green fragrance, but this is not as green as a perfume such as Chanel 19, which is the ultimate green scent to me. This is a clean, fresh scent that would be really nice to wear in warmer weather. Hope that helps a little!

I have the edt version of this. It's starts off too floral you know head twirling. Then smells like tea and citrus which I like. Edit: its too strong of Iris (not fond of iris) or something powdery so it's not pleasant. Then it's pretty and fresh but then gets powdery again in a different way from the opening that I think is worse.

Its lovely, in the similar vein of Guerlains The Azurra, but Ete is a bit milder and rounder. Very nice for summer with the sparkly tea notes but sadly this one has performance issues, sillage is too small and so is longevity. Somehow Guerlain managed to avoid both these problems with their issue. Still, a lovely fragrance.

I received this as part of a beginner's experimental decant set as an example of a tea fragrance. The tea barely comes through for me; I mostly smell jasmine with a mild green tea undercurrent. Projection is barely there and it's gone in an hour or two.

Initial burst of natural jasmine and citrus came out when first applied. Later the tea note & mint start to come in blending with the jasmine & citrus. I find it very refreshing, clean and cologne-y. Smells very natural indeed. Lovely!

The top is great: jasmine tea in a perfume, something I long to wear. But it quickly devolves into a powdery too-sweet musk, and I've lost the plot.

A very nice, simple fragrance. You can wear this on casual, lazy days, or when you want to have fun. Nothing overpowering. Good for the senses.

This perfume does well on really hot, humid days.

I like drinking green jasmine tea with lemon in summer. That's what this scent is but it's barely there, projection is minimal and it lasts two hours. There are better green tea fragrances out there.

The first thing I smell is lemony citrus and green tea, in a very light cologne-like scent. I get the feeling that this EdT is tiptoeing around in a morass of olfactory political correctness, afraid to offend anyone by expressing any opinion whatsoever. After the first 15 minutes or so, it does develop a little prickliness and light notes of jasmine and mint, but these are almost as bland and inoffensive as the opening. It’s one of those scents that are like blurry, pastel watercolor paintings, which I generally dislike, done on rough paper that creates unnatural, crinkly edges to the colors. It’s sort of like a diluted version of Un Jardin Sur Le Nil, with the same sneeze-inducing “tea” accord, which, unfortunately, grows as the scent dries down. The prickly “tea” note persists surprisingly long for a fragrance that in other ways seems so weak. Definitely not my cup of tea (apologies, I know that’s trite), but I can imagine that those people who wear pastel colors and fuzzy scents might adore this.

I got a huge migraine from this one (the one that usually get from Chanel aldehydes). It has definitely to do with the type of musk. I just can't give a comprehensive Review. Try Before you buy.

It smells exactly like Chemotox... At least it does not last longer than an hour or so. Never again...

While lamenting over the disappearance of Tea for Two, a sales assistant suggested that I may enjoy L'Artisan's The Pour Un Ete, as it shares a similar tea accord. Although they are both very different, (with one being spicy, the other fresh), I can certainly see how they might appeal to those that adore the scent of tea. The Pour Un Ete smells more like green tea to my nose than black tea. It's incredibly refreshing and in some ways, soothing. This fragrance would make an excellent Summer staple, and I highly recommend trying it during a hot spell. Unfortunately The Pour Un Ete is not unique. In fact there are many tea scents on the market these days that smell almost identical, and for much less too. Bvlgari's Eau Parfumee au The Vert and L'Erbolario's Te Verde are just two examples. Despite the dominant green tea note, The Pour Un Ete also has a beautiful, dewy jasmine accord, and some sparkling citrus notes in the opening. The only note missing to my nose was the mint. I couldn't smell it at all. I'm not a big tea drinker, as I prefer coffee, but I do enjoy the scent of a steaming cup of tea. Despite this fragrance's fresh approach, (as odd as this sounds), I can almost smell the steam when I wear The Pour Un Ete. For this reason, I am most intrigued. L'Artisan's The Pour Un Ete is a delightfully inoffensive Summer fragrance. The sillage is very soft when applied to the skin, however the lasting strength is rather impressive. It may not be a scent for everyone, but it does have qualities that I'm sure will appeal to many.

This is what I wish The Vert from L'Occitane smelled like. It has a very similar lemon green tea opening, but the green tea note in The Vert contains a bitter, over-steeped quality and the lemon only muddles The Vert's bitter, slightly dirty combination of notes. In The Pour Un Ete, the lemon is alone in the opening, natural, pure and sour, though it quickly makes room for the smooth, slightly sweet green tea. This tea-lemon combination is perfectly balanced and soft , making for a light green and dry composition overall, as it opens on the skin. Those who are fond of this combination of notes will be in heaven. I do detect a light jasmine and the faintest cedar behind the tea and citrus, but they are soft and do little more than round out the notes in the foreground.They emerge slightly more in the dry down. The dry down continues to be a smooth and slightly sweet tea note, turning into more of a jasmine green tea than a lemon one. The projection is average, and longevity is typical for L'Artisan, which means longer than 10 minutes, but way less than 10 hours. Very refreshing for Spring and hot, humid weather. The Pour Un Ete is having lunch with iced tea and fresh lemons in a campground with your family.There are conifer trees surrounding you and it is near the ocean so there are no mosquitoes. It is smooth, green, sweet, satisfying, and complete.

Having not held high hopes for this, I now feel this is a much under-rated perfume.I smelt it years ago and found it pretty but nothing I would fall head over heels over.Recently I spotted a large bottle of it at TK maxx at a bargain price and decided to take the plunge and re-visit it. And glad I am that I did. Perhaps because I can spray with abandon, this perfume does last on my skin, and because it remains light it doesn't annoy me after a while as some fragrances can. I find it surprisingly wearable and it's calming quality helps me concentrate when I wear it to work. It has a citrus, transparent quality without being sharp. Like jasmine tea it is refreshing but also warm and soothing.The trace of smokiness is spot on for me and exactly what I wanted. Tea scents are so ubiquitous I was never tempted, but I don't find this as synthetic as the high street ones I have tried. Being of Asian origin, this scent definitely triggers something in my sub-conscious...perhaps memories of my grandfathers garden at night, jasmine exuding its nocturnal scent on the veranda, drinking tea after my bed time shower, the fan blowing and the dying warmth of the day.

This is a typical Olivia Giacobetti creation. Personally I find it charming. It's crisp, dry, and lovely, spring like. Starts with a lovely citrus bergamot accord which lasts until the jasmine comes. I was expecting a green jasmin, or a little indolic. It's not like that. It's very creamy, a little waxy, maybe there's gardenia in here too. Everything is nicely tempered by a hint of herbs, I don't really smell the mint that much, I wish I did, just a herbal cirtus feel, more like lemongrass. And of course, everything I mentioned, from the beginning till the end, floats in a nice cup of simmering green tea. It's just beautiful in a "fairy" kind of way. Believe it or not, it makes me think of Tinkerbell. Silage and lasting power are average, but L'Artisan never had a strong hold on silage anyways. Recommended for spring and summer, refreshing and pleasant. Apparently this was a limmited edition that became "regular" due to popular demand... true or not, I cannot tell, but it's lovely.

L'Artisan Parfumeur THE POUR UN ETE is a simple yet satisfying tea scent which combines jasmine, lemon, tea, mint, and bergamot to produce a pleasing composition. I have to say that such a concoction would make for a pretty ghastly cup of tea and in fact reminds me of an ill-conceived lemon green earl grey which I once tried. There was just too much going on, and not in a tasty way. Here, however, these notes do all work together harmoniously somehow to produce a subtle perfume suitable for women and men. As an avid tea drinker, I tend to be pretty selective about tea fragrances, and while I like this one and find it nice enough to wear, I recently tried Guerlain TOKYO (from their trio Les Voyages Olfactifs), which strikes me as much more compelling (it's on my wishlist). I think that I prefer something with a bit more oomph than jasmine--the Guerlain contains both violet and hinoki...

The problem with this perfume is the opening, i just get an overpowering alcoholic and lemon note that doesnt evapourate of for what seems like hours. However if you have suffered through opening you will be rewarded! After a few hours i get a scrumptous green tea thats almost gourmand but with afresh spicy juicyness that stays close to the skin. This green tea complements the beautiful jasmine, and im fussy about good jasmine .it smells like its floating on a breeze on a scorching day. I wouldnt nessecarily call the dry down green either, its more warm and crisp and thats what i like about it. But because of the opening i had to stop using this fragrance. Maybe its my chemisty so id say you need to sample this one before buying to see if your chemistry can tame the beast!

Now this is a Tea Scent! I like Tea for two as well but if you are looking for just tea with no spices. I have found my love. It has less warmth than Bvlgari red tea and really focuses on the Jasmin tea. . smells like a true home brewed iced tea no fake brisk to it. I have found that mint is a very welcome note in perfume for me as well. At first I thought of peppermint candies eck but just mint is so fresh and up lifting( those of you who like drinking mint tea may really like this as well. Lasting time is good for all the lightness. Will have to save for this one. I want the big bottle :)

I find this to be a bit more feminine and more floral version of Bvlgari's Au The Vert, which I love by the way. This is a softer more approachable tea scent and I do like it, but it is very light and would have to be re-applied often I think. There is a musky, white floral creaminess which I quite like, like tea with milk. This makes this scent stand apart from the other green tea fragrances which all tend to have a green edge to them ike the Bvlgari or Un Jardin sur le Nil. I am going to experiment with my decant some more, but I would consider buying this.

Im not getting many of the listed notes but green tea is strong here. This wont be a popular review but to me its very simular to Eliz Arden Green tea. Difference being slightly better quality, heavier and far far superior longevity 7+ Hours. A good office day scent, a fail safe go to... Nice light jasmine Like.

This is one of those scents that seems to be so light and sheer that my skin just sucks it up to the point where there is very little silage and no longevity. This would probably work much better with heat and humidity of the summer months. the little whiff I'm getting is very pretty, but not spectacular.

On me, this smells like a fresh linen closet, kind of pleasant but totally unsignificant. No staying power at all. I had high hopes for this one because I love tea fragrances, and this one sounded great. I smell more soap than tea and I can't find any mint anywhere. I'm disappointed.

The top notes of peppermint and lemon are very sharp and if there's jasmine in here, I don't get it at all. It is a nice green tea scent, but it all seems to be angles and edges, no soft notes. Definitely not what other people have gotten, I guess. Not for me, anyway.

Start with the same notes than Creed's Silver montain water but without the salty note. Turns quickly into a lemony-light jasmine thing. Not my cup of tea but good scent. Again, too light. 7/10

-Opens with a light citrus scent. -Is grounded by a powdery note in the background. -Overall, too faint a scent to be good in longevity/projection. (-)

at first the lemon is powerful, and then jasmine emerges with slightly indolic nuance, and turns into mature feminine smell.
