Belle Joueuse

I don't like roses in perfumes, or very rarely. And I love this fragrance: at first, it's a tangy raspberry. Thanks to the ginger, there's a hint of raspberry and very little peach; the peach rounds out the tartness a little. Then there's a hint of rose, but there's still the ginger to give it a little kick. When I was a child, we had vines. We waited impatiently for the grapes to ripen so we could eat them. But sometimes we'd pick half-ripe grapes and eat the raspberries at the other end of the garden. And I have the impression that the smell of the grapes mixed with that of the raspberries dried on my hands. Fortunately for me, I don't associate that with roses. As I have quite a few fragrances, this one often comes to mind and seduces me, my 18 month old son says when he smells it on me, Mmmmm oau. It's also very long-lasting and has a deliciously sparkling scent. It's not just a fruity fragrance. I really like the name of the perfume, I think it suits it so well. This brand is also a great discovery. Very good quality and very good price, and above all unpretentious. It's also original.

Very simply and yet interesting parfum for everyday. For me it’s rose dominant with raspberry and ginger, not sweet and blended so well that indeed reminds about Dom Rosa (but without the booze). Silage and staying power is soft, wish it was better, have to spray it 5-6 times. Overall really glad I have it.

I was lucky enough to discover the brand through a gift from my husband last year. It was my everyday perfume. It has a good development on the skin throughout the day. The raspberry and rose notes combined make the scent sweet, without it being sickening. A beautiful fragrance!

A soft and pleasant perfume, ideal for day to day. It has a sweet, floral and fruity aroma, although without losing its fresh and easy-to-carry character. What stands out the most for me are the rose and the raspberry, leaving an amber and sweeter aroma on the drydown due to the tonka bean. It has an aroma that is also somewhat reminiscent of some shampoos or bath gels. For the price it has it is worth it Scent: 8 Longevity: 7.5 Projection: 5 Versatility: 8 Originality: 7 Overall: 8

Advertised as a modern chypre and I agree. I also agree with oubliette, below. Not too sweet but certainly fruity. Is Almairac paying homage to Quentin Bisch's Nomad of 2018? This is a contemporary and easy to wear chypre, and sunny and upbeat. Maybe I prefer the more "perfumey" Nomad. I bought two bottles steeply discounted and this is a well done scent with high value. I think I might end up overspaying this because the raspberry rose blend in the mid is lovely AND captivating.
