Douce Insomnie

I love this one so much!! It smells just like tiramisu there's definitely a coffee note there and it's the perfect amount of creamy, sweet, and floral you'll ever need in a perfume. It’s the perfect balance of everything and i'm obsessed!! It's similar to black opium and it also works for any type of weather since it's light but lasts long there's just everything to love about this fragrance <3

A swirling haze of powdery warmth and fresh greenery, where milky whispers intertwine with a leafy iris, delicate and serene. The soft vanilla base hums softly in the background, neither too sweet nor too bold, edges brushed with the bitterness of a coffee bean. This is a frothy cappuccino scent, airy yet rich, as if the scent itself were dusted with white florals and kissed by steam. There’s a groundedness beneath the dreaminess, an earthy, latte-like greenness that feels impossibly smooth, folding itself into the musky embrace of the iris. Serene, creamy, and intriguingly green, Douce Insomnie is really something achingly intimate.

To my nose it is extremely similar to Mademoiselle Twist by Mauboussin - and if not similar, then definitely the exact same direction. Both are good, Mademoiselle Twist significantly cheaper so I highly recommend checking it if you like Douce Insomnie. I haven't exactly verified the longevity - potentially it's a bit better than Mauboussin's, but Mauboussin's a decent 3-4 hours on me.

A warm vanilla fragrance with a touch of coffee and iris. Perfect for cold days, very good quality and value (price). 100% vegan and 15 mL bottle available. Similar of black opium but it is not a dupe (more floral). Sexy for sure... "An intense night revived by a fiery cappuccino harmony, an aphrodisiac sandalwood and the sensuality of floral notes."

I agree with the review below - wouldn't call it a coffee scent, it's all about jasmine! It's sweet, powdery, a little juicy. Very pleasant. It does have a similar DNA to Black Opium, but it also reminds me of Armani My Way. It's a mass market kind of powdery white floral.

Definitely cappuccino, not coffee per se - light and milky, sweet (vanilla) but very bright (jasmine). I think I love the name (which translates as 'Sweet Insomnia') enough to give it an extra star.

Hmm, I can't smell a distinct note of coffee, but it does give the overall impression of coffee, if that makes sense. It's very well blended and honestly I can't pick out the individual notes. It gives me the vibe that you get when you walk through the perfume section of a department store and everything is mixed together.

Supposed to be an ode to cappuccino smell according to brand, great idea, but all i smell is jasmine&heliotrope, slightly sweetened by a powdery vanilla and sandalwood. Again, an acceptable women's perfume, reminds me of YSL Black Opium, but i'll pass, totally not unisex.

It’s like diving nose first into a mochaccino. Photorealistic, gourmand sweet and reminiscent of long nights spent talking over a cup of coffee.

Agree with the other reviewers - a softer version of Black Opium. And just like Black Opium this has no significant coffee note either.

For people who like the smell of black opium on others but find it too strong to wear, this could be an alternative option.
