Rose Coup De Foudre

I completely agree with @leto review. To reiterate, I love this brand's simplistic design, naturalistic approach, and eco-friendly consciousness, and I especially love the colorful design of the sticker's back on each perfume. This was my second fave from the line, and I found it very interesting and unique in that it changes in real-time to match the time of the day. Spray it in the morning for a green, morning dew opening mixed with fresh rose water. The bergamot adds a green fresh note with no tartness at all, and the black current adds a slight sweetness. As the day passes and the sun reaches noon, the roses with an icy effect start to take effect adding real coolness to your skin. Once the sun starts to go down, the dry down starts becoming woodier and darker, as well as more masculine. It has very good longevity and projection, especially compared to my other favorite 'Verte Euphorie', which makes it more suitable for outside use, office, and night-time. The only surprising accord I can smell is bananas, which are not mentioned anywhere, but I distinctly smell a slightly tropical and sweet note that reminds me of bananas. Just to be clear, you may find my review a little bit exaggerated or whimsical, mainly cuz I approach my fragrances with a voyage-able approach, expecting a full experience or a journey in time or space.

In my opinion, this is the best existing perfume out of all rose-smelling perfumes. To me it doesn't even smell completely like rose, more like a wild sweetbrier (as a not native English speaker I hope I'm calling it correctly), which I love, because smell of traditional rose has something annoying about it for me. It is fresh, not too heavy, I would say - quite a friendly smell. I get compliments everytime when I wear this. However. I was surprised that here on this page longetivity is voted as rather long lasting. Honestly, I wonder if it even lasts an hour. The compliments I mentioned - I get them in the first few minutes after spraying myself, never after a while. And if I spray around other people, that obviously means that I always carry the bottle with me to refresh the smell. I always keep wondering, whether that's just an olfactory fatigue, but I have doubts as I'm able to smell almost all my other perfumes throughout the day and I'm pretty sensitive to smells. Maybe it's just how my skin works with this particular perfume. Anyways, I don't have an issue with that as it would be foolish to expect floral, green, light EDP to last eternally and I don't have problem with carrying the bottle. I just thought there is something people would like to consider, but I'm still obsessed with this lovely unique fragrance.

Clean, polite and terrific value, this is my easy go-to. A fresh, woodsy rose, I genuinely do get the ‘icy’ note from time to time. Properly unisex, my partner and I both wear this one. Not particularly long-lived, I have to remember to reapply for daytime wear. A lovely floral for those who don’t like too much sweetness.

A green rose fragrance. Unisex, more for hot days. Very floral and elegant, I found it a little vintage vibe. Rose is the star of the scent.

Warning - this fragrance has a patchouli base. Although the exact notes are not listed (which in and of itself is preposterous) on the official website of L'Atelier Parfum, the description is as follows: the sudden and powerful encounter between a frosted turkish rose and the woody patchouli. I would've purged my whole account if I'd fallen for another patchouli scrubber because of fragrantica's misinformation. Don't check out pyramids solely on this site. It's full of BS.

Something just... well, stinks to me, I hated this perfume - must be patchouli

Starts as a wet, fresh morning dew (hello bergamote) on a young and pink rose petal, but gets darker and darker over time while patchouli kicks in. Imagine a reference to Cartier Declaration d'un Soir for the drydown. Possibly the least feminine in the collection, but that's me, i like rose spiked with cumin or patchouli. Has perfect longevity and sillage btw.

I really like this! It smells like a green rose covered in snow. If only it lasted longer... it's completely gone after 2 hours :(
