White Mirage

I am not typically a fan of white florals, but decided to give this a try after owning some of the brand's fresher scents. I tried this on in-store and it smelled unlike anything else I have. On my skin it gives a subtle, velvety, clean floral aroma that is not super overwhelming and never sharp. Woody undertones can also be sensed. I don't think this smells at all like J'adore, which I was given as a gift and still own. But, every once in a while when I wear White Mirage I get a memory of Beyond Paradise from my college days. I wore this to a party recently and didn't get any compliments (unusual for me with scents). However, when I showered the next day the heat re-activated the scent. So this is definitely a more subtle perfume overall, though the brand's other scents for me are always attention-getters. This could be down to skin chemistry.

This is a beautiful white floral, but there are many beautiful white florals and I happen to already own quite a few, so I will not be purchasing a full bottle of this. If you tend to prefer natural perfumery, then this is an excellent one, as the notes are very clean and it performs well. This is the second sample I've tried from their Opus 2 sample set. Based on just the notes of the others, this is the least challenging, but the quality is outstanding. Even if you're not a fan of white florals for various reasons, this is one you may want to sample. It might change your mind.

I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of this perfume. Both the longevity of the product and the quality of the ingredients. The first notes are strong, but then comes the sweetness of the orange blossom. A very nice fragrance

Lovely and soft white floral. Very similar to the opening of Prada Femme Intense.

As a fan of white florals and clean, natural perfumes, I risked a blind buy of a 15ml bottle - a compliment for the brand, because it is well priced and a very good size to offer. After the initial spray, it is very similar to Gucci Bloom and maybe Gucci Bloom Ambrosia di Fiori flanker; later on, it gets also something from L'Artisan Parfumeur La Chasse aux Papillons. However, NO similarity to TF Jasmin Rouge, of which I own a bottle. Otherwise the "Reminds me of..." votes are well suggested. It is quite an intoxicating blend - compliments to Monsieur Dadier. I checked the list of his other creations and I must say, there is a certain harshness or sharpness to some of them that I know and dislike (Mugler's Womanity - enough said), and echoes of this are present here, but thankfully in a fitting form - the tuberose and the 'gardenia accord' that Mr. Dadier aimed for are quite piercing, but turn out fine. The sillage is intimate, even though I sprayed more than I usually do. I am pleased, I got what I wanted - a well-blended, elegant white floral perfume made with 92% natural ingredients, without unnecessary toxic ones (clean policy of the brand).

Velvety white floral that is intoxicating without bombast. Timeless style, neither vintage nor contemporary and gimmicky. I can't figure out what to wear with this. I think it might best suit a young sexy person wearing jeans and a well tailored and pressed shirt. The denim blue and sharp crisp cotton would be a good contrast to the fluffy white of this perfume.

I got a sample of this, I never would have thought to buy it; I’m not much of a floral type. But recently I thought it would be nice to have a perfume for spring that smelled just like standing under a heavy, heady lilac tree. And this is it, somehow. I like it!

I had to comment here, because I am extremely averse to orange blossom AND tuberose in fragrances...yet I find this to be so pretty and well-blended. Especially as it projects off your skin, it is really beautiful. I am very impressed with this one!

Blown away!!! I love white florals but am super picky when it comes to white florals in perfume as they can easily become too rubbery, indolic or green. But this is lovely It’s giving clean girl, wealthy woman, classy and chic.

Testing this blind, a pretty floral from opening to end. A hint sweet to me and at times in the early hours I get the smell of double bubble bubblegum when you first smell the sweet powder, but there's no bubblegum here, just memory invoking likeness. It has a nice young, carefree feeling to it, not weighed down by luxuriousness, or trying to bridge into being to adult. It's perfect brunch and floral dress occasion ready (if you're under 30, if you're over go for the more serious stuff). Probably a safe gift for your niece, girlfriend, or whatever feminine person likes smelling pretty. Considering the notes, I get the tuber rose and jasmine dancing with pear, with a hint of everything else, except the vetiver which I don't pick up at all. Longevity was good leaving a mellow, less bright version of itself by the end of the day, at skin level. I'm sure there's lots to compare this one with, but here I feel its so not trying to 'do' something else in its simplicity of just feeling pretty, it wins out. Don't overthink it, the girl twirling in her sundress wouldn't.

omg...need to give it a full day wear test but I think I found it holy shit...my perfect white floral...lightly sweet, a very fresh, soapy, and dense tuberose...cold and luscious. hopefully the sandalwood doesn't get too strong in the drydown! well...idk actually. it's a tad..."dry" in the drydown, but that kinda happens with every white floral. might get it anyways.
