Al Dur Al Maknoon Silver

The opening of this is probably the best of any Aventus alternative out. Its the most natural attempt at recreating Aventus's almost soapy pineapple opening. The clear lesser quality of the notes in this juice stunts its ability to go all the way in mimicking the fruity batch. But it gets closest than all competitors with perhaps the best quality of notes of all Aventus Alts including CDNIM. The opening contains some alcohol which within seconds burns out leaving a very real smelling Pineapple along with a noticeable apple note which shines through. The Birch is way behind in the opening but like Aventus as the scent progresses it begins to take more of a front and center role. Unlike CDNIM it's not nearly as smokey but the smoke is for sure present and the birch is very pleasant. So I'd say this is definitely the Fruitier batch while CDNIM would mimic the smokier batches. For those who will be angry that yet another Aventus Alternative is on the market I'd lay all the blame at the feet of Creeds manufacturing plant. lol...Creating so many batches that range in smell allow for opportunistic brands to make a similar scent which could fool most people. Could Al Dur Al Maknoon Silver fool an Aventus lover??? YESSSS because I've fooled a couple of friends of mine that are Aventus Fan boys. The negatives of this scent is really a shame...The biggest drawback of Al Dur Al Maknoon Silver is it's performance. It lasts about 5 hours on my skin which is well below Aventus (which is much weaker due to reformulations and the removal of a lot of the Oakmoss), and its not as strong as CDNIM either. Projection also takes a huge dip after the second hour. The bight side to its lack of strength is the inexpensive price point. You can just decant it and reapply every 4-5 hours. 1 spray to the top of the chest or the neck every reapply works perfectly... Do I prefer this to CDNIM? its hard to say...I'm looking at them as flankers...To me Al Dur is more of a Warm weather option due to it's heightened freshness, beautiful fruity opening and its performance makes it perfect for the warm weather. I artificially tested this during humid conditions by steaming my bathroom with it on...The heat really allows the pleasant top to really shine and boy does it project within the first 2 hours. I am looking forward to future hot days with it. CDNIM is a really good cold weather option due to its better performance and its much smokier development. To me the intensity of CDNIM smoky quality really lend itself to the cold weather. Since I rolled the dice on this I was really happy to have two amazing scents which could allow me to smell how I like comfortably all year round. I wouldn't say this is a redundant buy if you own CDNIM. I consider it a CDNIM flanker...Like CDNIM Eau Fraiche...lol... Simply Put...A very good, light, warm weather alternative to the Fruity Batch of Aventus. Using my P.A.G.E. rating system this scent is an A+ or Above Average but not on the level of G status or Good. (I don't penalize it at all for being an alternative)... It's actually a better scent than any of the AVENTUS alternatives out and perhaps among the cheapest to own (under $3O SO FAR...lol). It just doesn't have the versatility and the the staying power to make people just forget CDNIM exists. But if you are someone who prefers a higher quality opening than that of CDNIM and you prefer a more classy wear, I would suggest you give Al Dur a try. I paid less than $30 for it which for that price is a no brainer to me based on the scent and quality of the scent. But your nose knows best. Some may think this is more of an average scent and I could see that argument but the pros of this scent far outweigh its negatives imo so I'd have to give it a Above Average rating. I'll tell you what, this ain't half bad at all. It's exactly what you expect. It arrived yesterday so I wore it this morning. Put it on at 5am,went to the gym, did a bunch of housework then showered at 3pm. It was still going and was detectable after a good scrub. Performance for me is not in doubt. It obviously smells cheaper than Aventus, it's got a rougher feel to it than Rasasi's Zebra and in my opinion is better quality and smoother than Al Haramain L'aventure. I own full bottles of the last two and a decant of a 2016 batch of the first. I also own Milton Lloyd Perfumers Choice No9 which is much smoother but with less performance. In it's own right it's a good scent and definitely worth buying. It cost me £11 which is roughly $13 or so US dollars for 100ml. Downside for me is a harsh burnt leather note in the first half an hour but that's about it. After half an hour it's pretty much gone and wasn't massively off putting anyway. It's not high quality, it's not a spot-on perfect copy of Aventus. Don't pick it apart. What it is happens to be an inexpensive, inoffensive, fruity daytime scent for when you don't want to use up all the top stuff. You'll smell good and if someone in a crowd walked past you wearing this you'd instantly say "That smells like Aventus" Of course it cannot ever hope to stand up to close scrutiny next to the real thing but for the price of three pints of beer in most city centre pubs it never was going to. That's not the point of these things. A very happy purchase as most of my Lattafa buys have proven to be.

Slightly Oily. Synthetic opening. Don't expect to smell a proper scent on the first few minutes. Come back to it 5 or so minutes later. You'll start to get your Very Smoky leathery opening. The pineapple sits behind the smoky opening and seems layered and there's a fruitiness in it but the DNA of aventus/cdnim is there. However, this smokiness leathery opening scent stays on quite a while. It's definitely for the skin rather than the clothes as the spraying on clothes just gives you a light smoky slight pineapple smell on e clothes. Do note there's no citrus unlike some of the aventus dupes you might get it. After 30 mins it does seem there's hacivat or even Credat Boise in there but problem is the smoke is so upfront it covers some notes I want to get but can't seem to get so it's safer to say its closer to cdnim with a very very smoky edge. No nice lemondry cirtusy freshness. For 17sgd can't complain but I think it's not for everyone, especially those who doesn't like smoke. Still it's a 99% musculine scent. Don't see the ladies wearing this. It's probably also suitable to use as a layering frag for any adventus/cdnim/hacivat/cedrat Boise/other dupes to add smokiness leathery to it.

The first week I had this bottle, I absolutely hated it. It smelled like someone had cleaned out an old ashtray with lemon pledge cleaner. After a few weeks of macerating this smells nothing like when I first sprayed it. It is now a sophisticated yet versatile, woodsy, mossy fragrance with a beautiful citrusy opening and nice smoky finish. I detect no pineapple, mostly lemon. I really didn’t want to like this, because its initial impression rubbed me so wrong, but I find myself reaching for the bottle quite often now. Wore it today layered with Lattafa Qaed Al Fursan for the pineapple and it worked beautifully. My biggest gripe is the cheap plastic collar for the cap has cracked and come loose so that now the cap doesn’t sit on the bottle securely. If they’d fix the bad bottle design I’d likely end up making this my signature. Edit: Who am I kidding. At under $20US a bottle, I can afford to forgive the cheap plastic collar and cap problem. This an easy choice for an every day wear

i bought this perfume randomly from local store as i loved it at first sniff.. it is very smooth fruity n bit smoky..seriously it's very amazing smell.. Now comes to comparions.. i havent smell creed aventus yet.. but i do have armaf club de nuit intense for men ppl say it's close to aventus.. if thts true then i wont like aventus.. coz its much smoky than fruity n particularly in a synthetic side.. n main thing smell doesnt change much.. but al dur al maknoon silver is much better than club de nuit intense.. as i said above its very smooth.. no synthetic.. it smells like edp concentration but performs like edt.. Smell changes from initial spray to dry down.. choose btwn club de nuit intense and al dur al maknoon silver.. i ll definitely go with maknoon silver.. ppl who comparing club de nuit intense for men with aventus.. pls try this edp from lattafa n share ur views coz it's a quality juice.. Recommended ..

I thought I was imagining it but for the third or fourth time wearing this over the past fortnight I have noticed a bit of Le Male Le Parfum by Jean Paul Gaultier in the dry-down. I don't get this with the first bottle I purchased a year ago but I recently bought two more bottles of Al Dur Al Maknoon Silver and I am definitely getting Le Male Le Parfum in the dry-down from both of my recent purchase. It is stunning💖 I am absolutely loving this, and glad I bought two more bottles. Lattafa have a winner in Al Dur Al Maknoon Silver. There is almost a bit of saffron in the dry-down that's making this a more luxurious fragrance. I have never been one who cared much about batches, but I can assure you there is a marked difference in the dry-down of the latest bottles than previously. Quite amazing to get Aventus in the first three hours and then a bit of Le Male Le Parfum in the mix thereafter. Beautiful🏆

You can't go wrong with this if you enjoy the Creed Aventus DNA. Initially, the faintly animalic patchouli/leather note reads as 'off', since it's not prominent in CA. But it retreats fairly quickly and doesn't change the overall character much - no whiff of poor quality or cheapness. If CA succeeds on the interplay between bright fruit and darker smoky woods, Al Dur Al Maknoon shifts slightly to the shadow side, making it suitable for cooler Spring and Autumn days, IMO. I'm hoping the weak/moderate performance improves with maceration. Parfums Vintage makes the best CA replicas, but I can't be mad about a $13 bottle that smells this good.

A very smooth and refined scent. Smells very naturally not synthetic. Fresh apple opening, this one is not very lemony which is good, there's defiantly pineapple in the opening but lacks potency. There's something green about the mid notes and the base is slightly smoky/oudy/woody. I've now used Aventus, CDNIM & L'venture. I don't think it's fair to call these Aventus clones because sure they may have a similar profile - but these are all distinctive scents and with an extremely good quality/performance to price ratio.

What a fantastic discovery this was for me! Yes it's a Creed Aventus clone, but it is definitely one of the best, and most natural smelling on the market. About 3 to 4 times cheaper than CDNIM and a pile cheaper than Aventus, of course. The opening is not as harsh as the CDNIM EDT, but closer to the Limited Edition Parfum version, which I also enjoy. The dry-down is very similar, too. Definitely worth getting a backup bottle of this, and I promptly will 😎

In my opinion, it is best clone of Creed Aventus, nice scent, look like first version of Aventus. It is smokey and Citrusy. Classy scent! Longevity and sillage are OK, good for four seasons. In general, we can call him a kind and loyal cousin of Aventus, but with an average financial status. It has a very high value for money. Don't miss it if you are Aventus fan!

Reading new comments for say years 2021-present, seems they reformulated. Remembering way back 2016-2018, it is a wonder scent for me. I never considered it as a dupe yet at that time, since I haven't tried anything maybe with that same smell. It will break me if it really was reformulated. I have been throwing praises and recommending this to my friends.

Very lemony in the opening that then gives way to birch, patchouli and smoky leather. For the life of me I can't detect the pineapple. Yes it will make you smell like you've smoke 3 packs of cigarettes but it's such a sophisticated, mature and familiar scent. You can't go wrong with this one unless your just one to complain.

It's Aventus's DNA with much smokiness but with less pineapple. It's like the pineapple here hasn't ripened yet. Moderate longevity too. Great for the price, though. Extra tip: I wear this fragrance and layer with Al-Rehab Avenue oil perfume roll-on. Still not Aventus but I at least get more longevity this way :)

Easily the most underrated and hidden gem of all Aventus clones. If you want a smokey Aventus then this one is the one you want. It's even smokier than Armaf CDNIM Limited Edition Parfum. I'm seeing a lot of bad reviews on performance but in my experience it is well above average. An absolute steal.

Very simillar to aventus with more prominent leather note .. Longevity is average but sadly it sits close to the skin within an hour to become a skin scent within 2 to 3 hours but still it smells fantastic.

This is smoky version of aventus okay! But it's not loud If you like this scent you can go with afnan supremacy silver((the orginal one not , not only intense))

Its an aventus clone, the first notes were similar ,..and after that it changes into its own scent, ive tried aventus before, by the way i'll give this 7/10

I have a version from May 2020. I really like the aroma, for this price it is delightful. The problem is that its longevity is very short. Rating: 8/10

Amazing scent out of all the aventus clones.....but doesn't last long 3 to 5 hrs tops.....but still I wanna buy it again because of the scent.
