Ameer Al Oudh

Whenever you feel like wearing a powerfull Oud fragrance, but want it well behaved and not disturbing your fellow common wearer and lover of citrus scents, you may well elect Ameer Al Oudh as one of your favourites fragrances. Top notes are agarwood (oud), cinnamon and nutmeg; middle notes are jasmine and sandalwood; base notes are musk, vanilla, guaiac wood, amber, and cedar. Depicting the strength of this lingering scent, this fragrance main oud note is Oudh from Cambodia which yields earthy and woody smoky notes. In the opening you get the cambodian oud with full strenght, blended with cinnamon and nutmeg. This notes will stay active for the entire longevity of the fragrance. The heart notes serve mainly the purpose of building a bridge for the base notes blending, and the scent become sweeter and smoother then. The drydown is very pleasant with the strong different woods softened by the sweetness of cinnamon and vanilla, and the smoothed by a confortable amber. The performance is quite high and you are bound to have a 10~12 hours longevity and a sillage of more than six feet at its peak. This is a typical unadulterated Southeast Asian and Arabic oud, just as it is. It bears a striking resemblance to Stercus by Orto Parisi, which is essentially an unadorned oud fragrance. I adore it. It's more akin to soil than manure, a deep clay scent reminiscent of lacquered clay pots painted with natural dyes, varnishes, and primers. It evokes the ceramic art of Pablo Picasso, African statues, something rustic, dark, deep, and earthy. There's also this decaying-resinous woodiness, precisely what oud is. It smells of artistic paints, a workshop ingrained with the scent of paint, wooden easels, and various canvases. It smelled amazing in the humid tropical climate of Malaysia, where I acquired it. In such weather, I can detect even lactonic and floral deep fantasy notes vibrating in the lower register. There's something utterly real, authentic, alive, and psychedelic about it. For me, such perfumes are perfect for solitary evening strolls in a tropical park, for those who enjoy pondering and meditating, being alone with oneself and nature, relaxing, and reconnecting with nature in the most archetypal sense. This fragrance isn't about making a statement.. it's a therapeutic journey... While there are many fragrances of this type, such as Stercus and others, this Lattafa is technically well-crafted.

Bought this hidden sleeper off Ebay from an overseas discounter from the UAE who's deals are so explosive, his prophets are going through the roof. All jokes aside, I never thought I'd like a scent better than YSL Kouros, but this frangrance is so damn BEAUTIFUL!! Warm, buttery, brown sugar with a smokey/plastic background that I rather enjoy. Almost reminds me of cinnamon toast being cooked in an ultra clean break room of a Reynold's Wrap factory. Some people talk bad about the plastic/band-aid smell. I love it! It rounds out the character of Ameer Al Oudh, giving it some dimension. Almost smells like a busy street in Dubai. Smoke/Hookah shops, factories, sweet stands. This is my new prized possession, and I'm proudly obsessed with it. I love spraying it in the palm of my hand and rubbing it in my beard around the Christmas season! I give Lattafa's Ameer Al Oudh 10 out of 10. It's a modern masterpiece and my new all time favorite fragrance. Everything else is just a distant second.

Simply a very decent low budget dry smokey oud fragrance. I agree with the review below noting this as Cambodian. I have been on an oud journey for 2 years & have bought some very expensive oud oils that smell like hay soaked in sweat then rolled in different farm animal poo , then left in the sun tto dry . This & raghba are both amazing value & a great way to start a love affair with oud . But, avoid raghba wood intense , it's very synthetic to my nose - plastic woods .. Blahhhh & for the newbies - try Al rehab's - sultan al oud 3ml oil - unbeatable value

This is a earthy oud but not in an animal or human way. It smells like walking into your grandfather's dirty, old workshop with a tray of vanilla and almond cookies. Your grandfather lives in the forest and his workshop has never been cleaned. Dirt, axle grease, and sawdust from the 1940s are haunting the air and the forest smells are humming in the background. I bought this due to the hate. Being a contrary person, what others hate, I tend to love and I was not disappointed. I find this to be a very comforting smell but it isn't for everyone.

I hated this at first, it smelled overwhelmingly masculine and slightly like gasoline. It has sat for about 2 weeks and it's developing into a dry brown incense and sugar type of smell, but the sugar is very discreet. This is basically raghba minus the powder which I appreciate. This layers gorgeously with sakeena and khamrah for those who need the added sweet fruitiness. Tldr This is straight woody brown sugar, project's really well and pairs with vanilla mod so well. Got complimented by both men and women. Really good winter frag.

Added my thoughts back in 2021. Further down the line, I can say I love this one. It's the oft-forgotten little brother of Ameer Al Oudh Intense Oud - always forgotten about and its namesake is often used for that one. I love the 'gungy' oud that develops in the dry down. It has become a comfort scent to me - something I'll often just spray to feel good. Then I pick up a jumper or hoody a few days after wearing it and still smell it lingering. Winter cosiness in a bottle - and for the price, you can't go wrong.

This is one of the best fragrances i own, i cant believe i got it for less than 40 dlls. Is a rare blend of sunset forest burning, with oud and spices in the background...there's also cinnamon and a strange note of cannabis...if you are looking for something very different and sensual, this is it. It is a masterpiece and a very unexpensive longlasting one.( a big plus: this is a non rosey oud) 100/100 RIYL: M7 ,Donna Karan Black Cashmere, Fahrenheit Absolute.

A bit brigther and more reserved than the intense version. My concern was that it would be less potent than the intense version but this fragrance has no problems with longevity and projection. To my nose this smells luxurious, refined, and generally well put together. This is one of my favorite wearable western/eastern oud fragrances (it's slightly more oudy than m7 oud). This has a lot less sweetness than the intense version. 9/10.

I got this about a month back. I'm still not quite sure what I think of it. I definitley don't dislike it. I get an almondy vibe from it, and for some reason it makes me think of Dr Pepper. Sometimes the woodiness comes out, sometimes it hides under the sweetness. It doesn't have the 'grittiness' of Raghba so seems much smoother.

Oud, sugar, labdanum and woods; seems musk is present, too. No vanilla to my nose. nothing like Raghba though people keep comparing it; this is oud, dry, woody, little bitter but warm with the sweet sugar offsetting it; layered with Raghba Wood Intense it smells like cigarettes and I love the two together.

First day, it smelled weird. Second day, it smelled boozy. Third day, OMFG what a bomb. Rich, dark, woody, nocturnal and lasting forever on clothes. Tip: spray it on your shirt 30 minutes before wear it. Neck magnet

Anyone who loves strong tobacco with musk must get it!! It’s soo dreamy when mixed with few sprays of some fruity florals like rainbow by Britney Spears or I am JC 😍😍! Can’t get over it ever !

Sweeter, not so green black afgano brother. Big sillage, bigger longevity, worth it for the pricepoint. I would recommend it if you are into smokey fragrances

Orto Parisi stercus in a different bottle

I really don't see what any of these negative reviews see. Ok.....this is cheap sure. Ok this is not a top end scent....sure....but disaster in a bottle etc? It really isn't. Its a cheap Lattafa....which means most of the time its gonna be a hit or miss, a gamble. This one pays off huge for the price. I had this only around a year now and unlike many other more expensive and more popular fragrances after only 2 weeks it was more than ready to wear. Day one had a little too much zing and chemicals...but it settled down fast into what is actually a presentably decent and subtle fragrance. Despite the listed notes....I got nutmeg, rose, a light creamy base of almonds/pistachio and warm cedar or oud. barely any amber or vanilla. Its a light rosy nut scent to my nose with woody basenotes. Its first spray is sweet and gentle, not sharp or sickening, it grabs immediately but never bullies, the heart accord notes of nut and rose are gorgeous and the drydown is a mature wood that gently projects only close to the skin. This is far from one of those room-filling statement makers for dominating types. This is gentle and blended well. I was surprised at the quality for such a cheap fragrance, expecting far far worse from hateful reviews and ratings scores on this and other websites. This isn't earth shattering or original i guess, but this is a warm, woody nutty gem for the price without anything to dislike about it. I don't understand the hate for this fragrance at all. Its smooth, calming, pleasantly present but unobtrusive, sweet but not sickly or overtly synthetic and it's work/enclosed space safe. I would call it more male but an arab woman or mature confident woman could definitely wear this. I think this a good deal at the price point, longevity is good at around 7 hours, its not going to be noticed too much during that time though because its a skin scent in my humble opinion. Its one for spring days or summer if you want to rock some nutty rose in the sunshine. I can't find anything to bitch about other than the low projection, but then again i want low projection sometimes, something subtle and gentle. Depends on the mood and situation. For those looking for big similarities....this is also NOTHING WHATSOEVER like its sister fragrance by Lattafa, Ameer Al Oud Intense. Not even remotely. Not even on the same planet, nor do they abide even in the same solar system. I don't even know why they share the same name. I recommend this one as one of the finest cheap Lattafas out there, just let them sit a while folks. You have to learn that with Lattafa, first impressions are usually wildly inaccurate and they rarely smell good until at least 2 months down the line. Haters gonna hate, whatever the low price. This my friends, is life. I can't see what all the negative hateful reviews are bitching about, i really can't. Maybe some people just hate arabian scents, because this is a pretty generic and standard middle eastern scent. No drama here. 8/10 from me

Finally! It is added to the directory! Now here comes the challenging part: trying to give you a short solid review of this AMAZING fragrance. To start off I want to go ahead and mention that Ameer Al Oudh smells nothing similar to 24 Gold of Scentstory. It's Ameer's sister Raghba which is the one who smells similar to 24 Gold. Now let's shine the spotlight back on Ameer. This a sweet (yet totally NOT cloying) woody, deep fruity, spicy classy fragrance. To me this smells like a freshly cut aromatic log, drenched in cherry brandy and dusted off with some fine cinnamon to say the least. There is still some other interesting notes in there I can't quite recognize. This fragrance has an awesome projection. This WILL get you noticed. With just 2 sprays you are left with an immense fragrance scent cloud. It also lasts for a LONG time. On your skin easily 24 hours or more. On your clothes two to three days easily ( or even more ). On my skin it projects easily for about 8 hours. And mind you that I have a type of skin which normally soaks up fragrances and diminish their projection power. This scent is completely unisex, it assimilates with your chemistry. I love this fragrance so much that I often just sneak into my closet, open the cap to smell it right off the sprayer. And quite some times I just spray it in the house just to enjoy the smell of it. This is really addictive to me. Words of advice: Preferably do not wear this in warmer seasons. I'd advice people to wear this in chilly to colder weather, for that is when it's able to smell it's best. During warmer weather I find it, somewhat suffocating and a bit sour. And also go easy on the trigger. Two to three sprays are really enough. Sometimes I wish I didn't get to know this fragrance that soon. Because now I keep comparing it's quality, performance and scent to all fragrances I try. And many fragrances I have been able to try are not able to come anywhere near the performance of Ameer. And also due to fact Ameer is rather inexpensive, and is a complete bargain for what you are actually getting, I then expect and demand more from any fragrances which price wise are more expensive than Ameer. I think I must admit that Ameer is like a revelation to me. It also showed me that amazing and high quality fragrances can also come at a very affordable prices. Ameer al Oudh, I am very honored to have met you ~!~

There's something really dark and mysterious about this fragrance that keeps me coming back for more. When I first smelled this I'll admit that it did smell a bit "weird", but that's what I love about it. Definitely has a middle eastern vibe to it also. Reminds me of those middle eastern charcoal incenses that you can find in your local Arab deli/convenience store(if you live in NYC you know exactly what I mean), but much nicer. This juice is BEAST so go easy on the trigger. Works beautifully in the cold fall/winter months, but DO NOT wear this in the summer its way too strong and cloying for the heat. Picture yourself in Egypt on a chair overlooking the pyramids on a cool breezy night with a glass of wine. Totally at peace peering into the darkness and onto the night sky full of stars and a bright moon shining through. Awfully quiet, beautiful, and yet an eerie but beautifullly mysterious presence emanating from the pyramids deep in the distance. This is fragrance is that scene captured in a bottle. Beautiful, dark, mysterious, elusive, and different. It's a bit mature and masculine, so not everyone can pull it off, but if you can then it will be fantastic on you. It goes perfectly with a black suit, or a black dress shirt and dress pants. Something you wear when you're dressed up for a night out. More suited for the strong, silent but confident man who has validation deep within himself. One who doesn't seek validation or attention from others, but strangely gets noticed for his confidence and peace of mind. Teens and young adults in their early 20's this really isn't for you. It's a 30+ frag IMO. If you're a bold, confident, low-profile, "cool calm and collected" type of man, then this is a fragrace for you. And for the price, you can't ask for more.

Ameer Al Oudh presents a nice yet linear scent profile; what you spray is exactly what you get. Initially, it opens with (it seems) Cambodian oud mixed with sugar. It transforms subtly into a mix of woody-earthy vanilla oud. Contrary to some opinions, I wouldn't classify it as overly sweet. It's more floral with delicately animalic attributes, including gasoline notes. I wonder if I should just lubricate myself with fuel since analyzing my other reviews you can clearly see I like the smell. The fragrance does carry gourmand notes, yet remains dry and somewhat harsh. When it comes to longevity, it disappoints with weak staying power. It radiates for just a few hours, leaving no trace as a skin scent afterward. Considering I paid less than €10 for it (plus a deodorant — it's perfect for a quick car refresh), I'm content with the purchase and find myself overspraying. To compare, this fragrance is similar to Raghba. It shares commonalities with various perfume oils like Al-Rehab Sultan al Oud and Al Haramain Black Oudh (without weed smell), among others. Khashab al Oud by Bait al Bakhoor is also like that, with the vanilla swapped for a vague medicinal powder. It's one of the few ouds I have that might be considered wearable in public due to its soft sillage and minimal barnyard or fecal notes. It offers a balsamic and dirty experience. Neat, despite its quirks. Ameer Al Oudh is a fragrance that truly captivates me. From the first spray, I'm enveloped in a rich, woody/blasamic aroma that's both deep and inviting. The initial blast can be a bit strong, but once it settles, it reveals a very well blended composition. One of the standout aspects for me is a distinctive note that evokes the essence of hashish, reminiscent of Nasomatto's Black Afgano. Given its potency and depth, I find Ameer Al Oudh best suited for cooler weather or evening wear. A little goes a long way, so I apply it sparingly. Got this as a gift and was pleasantly surprised given the price point. A previous reviewer nailed the scent profile (at least to my nose) with an immediate blast of marzipan, which can have that plasticky, sugary almond vibe. The mid morphs into a powdery vanilla, which is a bit on the sweet side for my taste, and definitely better for cold weather. After some time, the sweetness dies down a bit in favor of some light musk (this would be the labdanum note?), with some soft woody incense/oud notes. Overall, for the price point I think this is quite good. I wish the sweet almond were dialed down a bit and the oud amped up a little, but for less than $15 it's hard to expect much more. As for performance and longevity, it projects on me for about 4-5 hours, then becomes a skin scent that sticks for quite some time. I don't think I'd recommend more than 2-3 sprays as it could be cloying for some while it's projecting.

2 fragrances come to mind when I spry Ameer Al Oudh (The Prince of Agarwood): YSL M7 & Lalique Hommage a L'Homme. Ameer Al Oud is a sketch made of oud & colored with a mix of woody, floral, & subtly sweet notes. The outcome is spectacular! Any fan of oud or Arabic fragrances should give this a try. Another massive pluses is the fact that it's an EDP -oud one nonetheless- & the its price is about $20 (in the Middle East). Expect a little bit higher price outside of Asia. Shortly put: an oudy gem. === UPDATE: 2 people told me that the smell of Ameer Al Oudh is overwhelming on 2 separate occasions. I usually go for 4-6 sprays in total over neck, chest, & back. Now I have to use lightly :(

Fragrance is so subjective! I respect the opinions of those for whom this perfume is unpleasant, but I thoroughly enjoy it. At first spray and after initial dry down, I get notes of almonds with sugar and a bit of cinnamon. After a couple of hours, the cinnamon fades and the oud and vanilla notes step forward. As time continues to pass, the labdanum and woody notes become more noticeable, so there's a hint of incense. To my nose, Lattafa fragrances tend to be linear, fading but not changing with time. Ameer Al Oudh is an exception, developing as it is worn. That makes it unusually complex and sophisticated for this brand, and one of my favourites among its offerings.

Starts out like pure Oud almost too strong of an oud for me, like that Hugo Boss Damask Oud yet it is sweeter and the wood feels like it was burned with sugar so it is tolerable and very manly, then quickly moves to a smokey incense smell and then softens down to vanilla perhaps or is it tonka bean, these people are geniuses in the ability to create such an orchestration. And even though it smells nothing like 24 Gold by scent story the dry down reminds me of a very week tinge of that cologne only now I think this has the real ingredients that scent story are mimicking with artificial ingredients. This has a completely different vibe. Quality.

This is my second review of Ameer Al Oudh. My first is below. I've gone through 70% of the bottle & here are a few things to know before buying: 1. It's a dry harsh woody smell with noticeable oud note. 2. It's overwhelming to the point of coughing. 4 sprays can make some people cough. That's how strong Ameer Al Oudh is. 3. It has a slight stink to it. Not the animalic, fecal stink of concentrated oud oils. No. It's has a harsh drydown with a stink that smells like burnt plastic/wood. This stink can ruin it for some. Conclusion: A good, really cheap, oud fragrance, the sharpness & slight stink of it might be too irritating for some.

Off the charts woody scent plus a little spice, some vanilla and some rose. A decent amount of mid tempo synthetic oud sits alongside. Very strong at first, dies down and stays woody. Not especially refined or smooth, but rather, deep and pretty loud. The Arabian style gives it a different, intense feel. Mildly sweet. Will get noticed - might work well outdoors where the woodiness would blend in a little better (and some fresh air would dial down the room-filling sillage). It’s good, especially if it’s strong wood you’re after, and the price is a plus. Keep expectations medium, and you’ll find it a good buy.

Classic middle eastern scent profile, opens up a bit sharp with hints of marzipan and the slightest bit of woodiness, minimal sweetness. After it settles a bit it really gets into that familliar oriental scent profile with heavy woodiness, something reminiscent of an unburnt sandalwood bakhoor. The longevity is pretty good, solid performance the first 5-6 hours. The sillage is decent too radiates around 2 meters for the first hours. If you like classic middle eastern fragrances it's a steal at this pricepoint, once you get past the sharp opening it's really enjoyable!

Wait for this one to mature. I purchased this almost 2 yrs ago and hated it at first. It was a bitter cherry boozy scent. I would revisit it maybe every 3 months and still I couldn't stand it. Today I sprayed it again and oh my gosh the transformation. I still get the cherry, especially on the dry down . She is a sweet cherry vanilla . I could actually take a little more oud. I may pair it with Lancome Oud Bouquet for an oud kick. If you own this , please dont throw it away. Hide it away and revisited it , I think you will be happy ypu did.

On my skin this is incredibly mega sweet, a tad artificial. I smell almond, vanilla, sugar, bubblegum, touch of cinnamon. It's kind of like a gourmand and it reminds me of an Amaretto Liquor. Tbh I don't get anything earthy, dark, mystical, clay, gasoline like. Just straight up dessert liquor. To my nose, this is not that masculine at all. Maybe after masceration? Asked my guy, and he would never consider wearing this, as it's way too sweet for him but he would like it on a woman.

This is a sweet dark vanilla fragrance. To me, this is sweeter and better than raghba. Even though they could be compared as identical, this one has a tad more umph. It may be the latex smell you get from mfk baccarat Rouge. I know I definitely chose this one over the other lattafa, Raghba. It's a middle eastern fragrance, nothing really Supreme or nose melting. It serves the purpose of having you smelling pretty well. As always! Try it for yourself, everyone has different DNA!!!

Do not spray on clothes. This is a beast and will linger for months. I sprayed it on a jacket and smelled it every time I wore it. That's nice but not when you are someone who wears a different perfume everyday. I hated this one at first but after a year of maturation, I really like it. A dark cherry 🍒 almost cherry syrup.

As Joeboud wrote, it does have something reminiscent of a plastic smell, I can see it being interpreted that way. To me, it's an almondy smell that reminds me (at least in my olfactory memory) of Xerjoff's Gao, something like an almond overload.

If you are migraine and/or headache prone, please beware. This perfume is one of the absolute worst offenders for me. I own Raghba and Wood Intense from the same brand and they do not give me headaches.

If you've ever smelled the inside of a Manner Mozart Mignon wafers pack, this is that smell (similar), just a bit less intense. Sweet almond overload that slowly turns to sharp woods. Lovely stuff.

Similarity with Stercus Orto Parisi is almost scary

I blind bought this one last spring and still haven’t decided if I like it or not. First spray: Burning sugar on a campfire that may have been started with gasoline. Sort of boozy. This is probably what it smells like to drink yourself into oblivion and set something on fire. This is the smell that’s going to be on your hair and in your nose when you wake up in jail the next morning. I thought I was ordering a sweet vanilla oud. I did not sign up for this. Hot, humid summer: Deep and intense. The sweet vanilla is perfectly balanced with a well developed, dark resinous wood smell. Incense and some leather. Very sensual and meditative. Totally unisex, more masculine than my usual fragrances in a way that feels exciting, challenging, and subversive in the exact right way. I feel expansive, self aware, and confident. My perception is heightened. A spray or two stands alone and wears off gradually over 3-4 hours. Crisp, breezy fall-ish summer: Ew, wtf? This fragrance seems to have un-blended itself. The vanilla sugar is less burning-on-a-campfire and more like the sweet, overripe, about to start decaying breath or sweat of someone who’s getting sick but doesn’t know it yet. The dry down is nauseating. The gasoline smell is back and overpowers everything else. It’s hard to wash any of it off in the shower. Conclusion: Due to the addictive nature of intermittent reinforcement, I’m in a toxic relationship with Ameer Al Oudh. The bad days are repulsive and awful but the good ones are so magical I keep trying to make it work. Performance is completely dependent on heat and body temperature. I’m currently able to get a little cool weather use out of this by using one or two sprays just on my abdomen under my clothes, because my body heat keeps it from turning sour and brings out its best qualities. I usually layer a sweet gourmand or fruity floral over it on the usual pulse points & hair, and tend to get a lot of great feedback that way. The bottle is large and kind of ugly and I feel like it’s going to be with me the rest of my life because there’s no way I’m going to be able to use it up living in a mostly cold climate but I also won’t be able to make myself throw it away.

I love OP Stercus, but the product is not worth the price. For less than $20, if Ameer al Oudh approaches anything resembling Stercus or Black Afgano, I'll be satisfied. Will post a review when the bottle arrives. Edit: Ameer al Oudh--NOT to be confused with the much more popular al Oudh Intense--really does smell like a cheaper, less complex version of Stercus. For $140/50ml vs. $15/100 ml however, I'll take the Lattafa. This is not something one would wear daily, and it probably works best in colder weather. Decent heavy bottle, cheap plastic cap. The randomly included spray-can of body spray/deodorant called "Pure Musk" went straight into the trash. The main drawback is performance: you have to douse yourself to get two hours’ performance. Probably better suited as a room spray.

When I first got this I thought I had a problem because with 10 sprays I got hardly anything, after a few months I get marzipan for an hour or so before fading to absolutely nothing. Very disappointed especially after some interesting reviews. I have had farts that smell longer than this, projection is poor, nose into the wrist and marzipan, my gf can't smell this either even with her nose buried into my skin! You win some, you lose some, this one never got started!

Please don't let the positive reviews fool you as they did me. I recently received this along with Raghba Wood Intense and Raghba and when I first smelled this I was instantly disappointed. I tried to be open minded. I actually wore it because Oudh is new to me and I wanted to give it a chance. However when smelling this I was immediately brought back to my youth. It smells like my Grandmothers medicine cabinet. More than anything though, it reminded me of a band aid from her perfumed night stand drawer. I'd say if the idea of a sweet, spicy bandaid sounds good to you, this is the scent for you. Unlike most Western Houses I must admit Middle Eastern Houses have mastered Longevity and Sillage. This stink fest is a bomb of epic proportion. It sticks to skin and cloth like few scents Ive ever experienced over the last 5 yeas. The opening to me is bandaid, the dry down is a sweet bandaid. But that bandaid never goes away. NEVER...lol...And it fills a room for hours. The sillage is beatly as well. I wore it around my best friend and he said I smelled like feet or like a boy's locker room. Ouch!!!...The more I smelled it the better it smelled but only when I didn't smell something else first. lol...Not a good sign. Ive often seen many women mention this. I cant imagine a woman wanting to wear this scent. And if she did id think she smelled really bad that day. With all of the beautiful scents to choose from why would a woman want to smell like this? This scent may turn some people on though. There are some who find certain foul scents very seductive and enjoyable. If you are one of those people you must have this. But this is to date my worst blind buy ever. I truly tried to like it but all I get is Granny's Bandaids. 4/10- this gets a 4 and not a 0 because the ingredients are quality and the longevity and sillage are way above average. Upshot: This is a very affordable somewhat decent "vanilla/oud" scent. But don't expect any miracle buy here or copy of more expensive fragrances. This is definitely unisex, easily worn by both men and women. Upon first application it is a bit harsh. You really smell the alcohol! That's generally a quality you pick up with cheap fragrances. However, as the alcohol fades away the woody/oud vanilla accord is found. The oudh is of course synthetic (as most are), but unlike a quality oudh facsimile this one doesn't hide its origins very well. For the price, that is to be expected. It's a passable medicinal representation. I find the vanilla particularly strong and sweet. I wouldn't mind it being dialed back a bit. The glass bottle is solid. Mine showed "shelf wear" from rubbing around inside the box, or it just wasn't finished to perfection in the factory. The cap is curious... just a press-fit (no snap) of nicely clear lexan/plexiglass with three faux gems installed on the top. It's actually a decent looking bottle. My only real gripe is that into the dry down I start to smell a kind of "plastic" note. Something to do with the synthetic oudh. It's weird... it somehow reminds me a little of cinnamon. Anyway, for the price it's hard to complain. Also, in the box I got a deodorant spray labeled as "MAGIE NOIRE". It has nothing to do with Lancome Magie Noire. ;-) Would I buy it again? NO! Will I keep it? It's not worth reselling at the going prices, so I guess not. But I think I've learned my lesson. If you get more than what you pay for, it's usually not much extra. Oh and by the way? If there's any similarity to Oud Cashmere Mood, it's only fleeting... not even worth comparing. MFK is on a totally different quality level.

Less of an oud scent on me and more of a generic synthetic woody scent, probably heavy on the Iso e Super. The woodiness is reminiscent of the pepper note in Versace Crystal Noir, the cedar in D+G Light Blue, the woodiness in He/She Wood, only here it's given a vanillic Oriental treatment. If you like those notes in the fragrances I've mentioned but you're looking for a vanillic Oriental with the very slightest hint of iodine-like oud, you will probably like this a lot.

So I tried to wear this today, and while it doesn't smell bad it is just so freaking weak I may as well have not been wearing a fragrance. Not sure about longevity or anything, because I pretty much immediately sprayed on another oud scent that has a little more oomph to it. Maybe I'll revisit later, but right now I'm not feeling it.

Price and performance are impressive, but sadly there's no redeeming aspects to the scent profile. Opening feels like sweet gasoline showered with oud, and it remains so throughout its (long) life. Some spice or even citrus could make this wearable, but as it is it's just too suffocating and unpleasant.

I'm trying to say something good about this fragrance, but it's like I licked my arm and it dried, like saliva on a pillow. It's not an animalic oud, it's sweet and woody but I don't like it, it's not pleasing. I was looking for Ameer Al Oudh Intense Oud and found this different version.

The scent profile is very linear and has a kind of weird sweetness to it. There is no direct resemblance to Black Afgano. However, this smells exactly the same as clothes the day after wearing Black Afgano. I have tried this a few times and have concluded that I would never wear it.

It is cheap for a reason because that is exactly what it smells like: cheap. One of the most disgusting fragrances. The drydown on this fragrance has to be the worst I have ever smelled. Performance is extremely good which makes this fragrance even worse for me.

This is a dry pepper oud with a harsh alcohol it has similarity with raghba but raghba is way better not a good blind buy for me and i will not bye it again I don't really understand all the hype scent 5/10 performance 8/10 price 8/10 overall 6/10

Quality juice but personally I'm not a fan of the smell. When I first smelled this it activated my gag reflexes. Very powerful stuff. When it drys down i can tolerate it better.
