Ana Abiyedh Scarlet

I’m so glad I read the reviews about the opening! Thank you previous reviewers! 🫶Had I not I think I would have ran for the hills after throwing her through a glass window whilst calling a clergyman to enquire about an Exorcism! However, as so many of you said the dry down after a couple of minutes is where everything blends and the base notes come forth to soften the top notes, I am definitely smelling the rose, pepper, dark cherry, peony with the patchouli, sugar, caramel and vanilla doing a good job in support! I feel like you would need to spray this in a locked room about 30 minutes before you went out to achieve the stunning beauty of this seductive rose and dark cherry fragrance. This is not a Gourmand fragrance and is not blind buy safe, it reminds me a little of my journey with PC’s Wayward Charlie, so if you like stand out complex femme fatale, deep and spicy rose/cherry with, warmth and depth and your soul likes to take a trip to the dark side on occasion then give this a try, but please wait for the dry down, the dry down is addictive and you will not smell this fragrance on everyone. The longevity and sillage are very good too but don’t overspray and for me this is a skin spray only, it needs the warmth of skin I feel to bloom. A complex fragrance for a mere £11.95 on Amazon. The cap for my bottle (mfg 08/25) looks as though it had popped off in the factory and was kicked about before being put back, plus when it arrived there was a fair bit of perfume residue around the atomizer similar to how my AA Rouge bottle gets if the cap isn't put back on just so, so this gal had an adventure before being packaged and shipped off. But I'm not mad about it, because that gave this bottle air long before I unwrapped it. The result: I thankfully don't get that terrifying opening many people warn about. Straight away this is a luscious dark cherry and rose petal jam -- sweet, but not sickly sweet. The performance is strong and long-lived, definitely among my strongest. I do love a moody perfume, so this fits in with my Opera Noir (Black Opium dupe, depending on who you ask), Opulent Oud, and Bade'e al Oud Amethyst rather nicely. A safe blind-buy for me, but if you have any reservations regarding similar profiles, you may want to find a slightly aged decant to try first. This is not a fresh rose or medicinal cherry. This is deep and mature with a bit of bite from the pepper -- very femme fatale. In an air conditioned space with 2 sprays it isn't overwhelming, but in high heat and humidity I can see this one being a bit suffocating, so spray accordingly.

First impression; Give it 30 minutes....then....This! How?! Not a safe blind buy. Patchouli is not my favorite...but this is soooo good. I smell cedar too. This may become my summer signature. It is sophisticated and expensive its not heavy or cloying somehow either. How does Lattafa do this? The sexy sillage and longevity....I live! Ive never smelled whatever its a dupe of....and I don't care! Someone thought I was wearing Black Opium. 🙄 Honestly I don't smell rose, there is a hint of cherry in the dry down. Im going to mascerate for a month to appreciate the other notes. Edit: I couldnt wait...I love this stuff. I now get the rose. Im realizing I was looking for an old timey rose. This rose is refined. This scent is for the spicy resinous girl. 7/6/26 - I sampled Louboutin Rose Fetiche. It is a deeper jammy profile. I want it too! But I cant have both....seems a waste to have two scents in my wardrobe so similar. I love that I can wear Scarlet everyday if I want. Louboutin feels so precious, if that makes sense. Maybe I'll get the Louboutin Oud Fetiche (to die for) instead. Ain't nobody making an inspiration that will touch that!

“Omg, I love this! I thought it would be a dense fragrance, but it’s actually a bit airy and can be worn year-round. I just got it, and it’s stunning no need for maturation like other Lattafa scents. When I first sprayed it, it smelled familiar, and then it clicked, it reminds me of Mohra Silky Rose. Probably because of the rose, pink pepper, and patchouli combo , but this one isn’t as tart or cloyingly sweet. It’s creamier, more refined, and honestly smells expensive. I don’t get much cherry right now, but maybe it’ll develop with time. For now, this is a total banger, easily my most successful blind buy this year!” UPDATE: I wore this out today and of course absolutely loved the beautiful opening. However, toward the end of the day, I started picking up some spice notes like kitchen spices in the dry down, and it was quite unpleasant. It’s disappointing how such a gorgeous opening turned into that. I’ll still keep it and see if it changes or improves over time.

Edit bc now I understand Scarlet has been shacked up in the cold, dark closet for 2 almost 3 months. Yes, she has had to sit. Not bc of performance . I applied her 14 hrs ago, I just washed her off. I still smell my clothing from my hamper. The scent was subtle on my skin when washed off. I just deleted my whole description from before bc Scarlet has changed her whole persona. Oh my, she is stunning! The pepper isn’t as prominent, still present, just better blended. The rose and cherry are so beautiful together, deep, sultry. Finally I smell the tonka, nutmeg as they welcome the sweet, sweet base. It does not bite my nose as before, I struggled to wear it. The contrast between the sweet & spice is perfection. I cannot wait to wear out! I am so so happy! She is so daggum good!!! Wore the lil vixen out & everyone I met said you smell so good...so satisfactory. 100/10

This fragrance is really pretty.. to me it's woody but not super heavy with patchouli to my nose. Unlike the previous person I don't pick up on a lot of it and I normally don't like heavy patchouli. It's not quite as dense and sexy as some reviewers are saying.. it's airier than I thought it would be with a woody base. The rose is jammy and sweet flavored with vanilla and cherry and caramel. I'm hoping that as this bottle matures that the woodiness will smooth out a little more but it's not sharp or anything just sort of doing its own thing in the back. But so far I'm liking it! It does seem to have good longevity already. Edit : I'm updating my rating to 5 stars after its sat a bit it's now richer and absolutely amazing! There is still woodiness in there but the rest of the notes got sweeter so that balances it out

This was delivered today and I was quite nervous because the reviews have been polarizing. When I tested it in the skin, first it smelled plasticky and also smelled like some kitchen where someone is cooking with some spices. I went out later in the day and despite of the initial spray test decided to do a full wear of the perfume and....... I’m in love! This turned out to be the spicier distant cousin of Le Nuit Tresor which is one of my top 3 perfumes of all time! If you like that DNA there is no way you are not going to love this! It gives the same dark woman energy vibe, but while Tresor is quiet and mysterious, Scarlet is loud and pure evil! 4 hours on and the projection and sillage remains strong! Blind buy only if you are a grown woman boss lady type, this perfume is not for the weak.

I blind bought this after trying a sample of Fetiche la Rose and, in the air, they pretty much smell identical. The only difference I find is that if you put your nose right up to your skin, FLR smells smoother and more expensive (which I would expect - considering it costs around 7.5x as much as this one!) I am so impressed with the quality of this. I don't normally like to admit this, but sometimes I can be a bit of a snob when it comes to more affordable perfumes. I own and wear some (so not that much of a snob!), but don't tend to use them for 'best'. This one though, I will happily wear for a date night / more formal occasion. It just feels like a special occasion type of scent. It's opulent, decadent, and gives off dark feminine energy. Perfect for when you want to make a statement.

Goodness gracious!! This is a very impressive fragrance. Very well blended, dark, mysterious, sexy lip-sticky fragrance. The cherry and rose are so well blended it's hard to tell them apart. Definitely a dark cherry. All the other notes mesh so well together. I can confidently say this is the best cherry fragrance I own. I'm icky about Rose in frags as it can be overdone to the point of nauseating (delina and her sisters i'm pointing at you), but this one is blended to perfection. I can't stop sniffing my wrist and this is on first spray! I totally love this! The Ana Abiyedh line churns out great quality and long lasting fragrances and this is no different. I can confidently say this is the best flanker yet. The hype around this is real. Don't walk, run and get yourself a bottle!

I was extremely apprehensive about the rose and patchouli notes but thankfully I was proven wrong about my inhibitions, because this is lovely! And I do agree about the screechy opening as mentioned by others, however, aging this bottle will for sure fix the issue, as with lots of loud perfumes. I am attributing the harsh opening with the cherry notes in this, which I am sure is cherry jam as opposed to the noted black cherry. The longevity of this perfume is truly remarkable, and the dry-down is really a work of wonder! I can actually distinguish the mix of peonies with the rose notes and somehow it works. The patchouli is very much mellowed by the vanilla and caramel, which I am happy with. I am truly happy I gave this bottle a chance, because I am much in love with it!

This is gorgeous, like really!! I have red shoe first one and they don’t smell a like at all... maybe other one.. this is sexy it’s smells it all.. fresh, spicy, sweet, like a well dressed women in a heels with a nice coat and polished look... will test it out at work and see people reaction so far big love from me as usually I get bored from to sweet or to fresh perfumes very quick, but this one seems to hit a spot right in a middle. Gives me a little vibe of Soufflot from Miller Harris but maybe more feminine version... so far obsessed. Will add to my previous review! This perfume is amazing! Got tones of compliments.. people was asking name of a perfume. So yes hype is real very very nice perfume preforms very well not in to your own face but everyone can smell it.

2026 Bottle from Amazon UK I had a spending frenzy, this time down the UAE aisle of perfumed wonders. You will need to wait 15 minutes after you've sprayed, regardless of skin or cloth, you're going to have to wait for the magic otherwise you'll run for the hills. It's very sweet and refined, the roses are there and it works brilliantly om top of a rose body oil or rose scented body cream. There's incense in this too but it's just a hint. Projection on me and clothes, not very great and at the moment this has lasted 4 hours. Whether it becomes more dense in the perfume drawer, I don't know, but for £23 it smells like £100 designer and hell, it will make a great niche smelling linen and room spray !

I just received a few decants and one of the first ones to try was this one.... My initial reaction was to instantly throw it onto the "no way, oh my this stinks" pile, but a few minutes later I couldn't stop sniffing myself and!! I will be getting a bottle for sure!! 😂😂😂 The opening smells like a stinky, piercing and harsh mishmash of spices and/or incence and/or stale rosewater, but it almost immediately transforms into this intoxicating, dark red, spicy, mysterious potion. As others have mentioned already this perfume might be reminding you of crystal noir, not as a dupe, but as a feeling. I can't wait to get a full bottle and let it mature, but it's definitely not blind buy safe!!

This just came in today and I love it!! This is my kind of fragrance! It is so sexy! I usually have to wait for these middle eastern scents to settle down and mature, however, I love this already, especially for the price point! For once, I hope it doesn’t change! I guess we’ll wait and see. I loved Maison Alhambra’s Rose Oragami when it came in and after it matured, I liked it so much less. 😔 so I think I’m going to wear this now, which is a rarity for me. It has a slight punch to it and I like it! I’m not able to pick up individual notes much but the overall blend is so lush and opulent! Worth every last penny!

I tried a sample of this and instantly fell in love. It's the perfect combination of rose and cherry with a gorgeous vanilla tonka backbone. Not too gothic, but still dark with the added spicy pepper note. I love rose, however the Delina style roses pull very sour on me (litchi, my arch nemesis!) This is done perfectly, the cherry balancing the rose out. This one is sexy and projects off the skin like a beast. I wore it all day and it lasted a good 6-8 hrs. I just bought a full size new bottle, which i will probably leave to mature for a few months to get the best out of the fragrance

I love this - it’s juicy sweetness but grown - niche and classy - not juvenile at all. It opens with mouthwatering cherry and pink pepper and a brighter white rose which I love - typically I’m not a huge fan of rose but the white rose combined with the peony keeps it from smelling too earthy. The magic is in the drydown where you get the spicy gourmand goodness from the nutmeg and tonka sweetened with sugar, vanilla caramel - I don’t get a lot of patchouli. It’s sexy - I am definitely feeling it when I wear it. This is also date night worthy (I’d even wear this on a summer night).

A perfume that if I were to choose by scent notes, I would skip it, it's all a confusion of scents... BUT, don't judge a book based on its cover, for me the first few seconds smell just like a confusion of scents, after half a minute it turns into a seductive scent that promises, and in the end it shows its true face, beautiful, innocent, warm, seductive, unoffensive, fresh. The notes intertwine and constantly challenge our sense of smell. Thanks Lattafa!

Bought this perfume as a blind buy gift to my friend, I was so scared for how it would smell but we were both so gagged by it in good ways, it's mature, sexy, strong, very date night perfume, everyone at the club was complimenting it. It smells divine. I was scared it would be too old lady like smell but it's not. If you love any strong perfumes like YSL Opium, you will like this.

Scarlet is here!! And she is a beautiful combination with black cherry and rose this is a great inspiration of Fétiche La Rose but it’s not syrupy thick it’s more sugary sweet which I love the added note of peony makes it fresh there’s some spice from the nutmeg and the pink pepper in this fragrance is beautiful the tonka bean adds warmth this perfume is nothing but prefect!!

a really nice well blended middle eastern fragrance with amazing longevity and great sillage. Perfect affordable choice for work or night. Phenomenal performance lasts a long time. Smells niche and high quality for the price, an underrated lattafa for sure, but I like it that way as you’re guaranteed that not every second person will be wearing it. so it’s a big win for me

I really like this. I am no stranger to designer and niche perfumes and I'm not afraid to spend pretty penny on a good fragrance, if it smells good to me. This just seems super well blended to me. It's easy to like because it's not strong or cloying. Now it makes me wanna try the fetish al la Rose one!!! But seriously I got this for $23... That's crazy

This is quickly becoming one of my top purchases of the year and I feel myself reaching for it pretty often this autumn. This stuff also lasts! I can smell it on myself all day and it lingers on my clothes. For the money this is a total bargain. I hated the rouge and the white in this line but I’ve loved coral and scarlet their keepers for me.

I mistakenly purchased this perfume, thought it was Ana Abiyedh Coral, but it now become my favorite mistake. Scarlet reminds me of Thierry Mugler Angel and Jessica Simpson Fancy Night, especially dry down but not as patchouli bomb as those two. It is fresh, dark, mystery and sultry. I can see Morticia Adams would wear this perfume.

designer quality straight out of the box. very well blended and well put together fragrance with no harsh notes. I would describe it as a sweet almost jammy smooth black cherry with light airy white rose swimming in a conservative amount of vanilla and caramel with pinches of nutmeg and patchouli .

Blind buy.At first i got afraid of it!!!!After 15 minutes....i loved it!!! I detect mostly rose(rose is not my favourite note) but mixed with cherry is a masterpiece! its a dark-rose feminine perfume.I wouldn't recommend blind bying it,but give it a try.Lasts all-day.I don't think its for summer

I will confess, it took me some time to like her. She is strong, the rose and patchouli are there, very loud! But, now I love it, dry down is lovely and the opening is strong, almost like a grown up rose. I tried in during a cold day in the winter and I found it is perfect. Powerful, sexy. Yes!

@saeeruhh It does get better, just give it time. The notes are starting to sing in harmony. I squealed when I put it on today. It’s sweet (not too sweet), seductive and there’s this depth to it that wasn’t there before. I know it will only get better. I’ve had it 2 months, for reference.

So pleased with this one! A fruity-spicy-floral blend that is just stunning & sexy. I always pair it with BBW Forever Red and it lasts all day! Truly a special fragrance. Not sure it is blind buy safe since it is unique, but if you like dark, sexy fragrance worth a try!

It’s a lovely fragrance! I sometimes just find myself smelling the bottle even when I’m not wearing it. It’s addictive and has great longevity! I mean you can’t ask for more from a $20 fragrance! If you like perfumes like Teriaq Intense then don’t be scared...Get it!

I smelled this at beauty base and it was sexy I kinda liked it. It was giving oriental date night sexy vibe but not my cup of tea. Grab this if you into that. Edit: I bought it and I’m obsessed to the point where I’m buying the original perfume....love this perfume.

Oh my god... It's my favorite perfume ever..... At first sniff.. 😍😍😍 it is wonderfully complex, well blended and erotic. If I had to find a flaw... The bottle is really ugly 😆 They could have done something more fetish-inspired, like the Louboutin bottle! 😉

Love this. I have Ana Abiyedh Powdree and this feels like it’s older sexier sister. It’s not listed, but I get a definite liquorice note on opening, the dry down is powdery rose.

Just bought it and O’lala I am in love it hasnt even macerated yet but wow, so spicy seductive, it is only for dark fem women. Light feminine women cant pull this fragnance off

This is a banger I fear. May even be perfection

Scarlet is basically Fetiche la Rose’s twin that decided to skip the couture gown and roll up in Zara heels - and somehow still outshines everyone in the room. The resemblance is so close it’s suspicious. I swear the same perfumer must’ve had a little side hustle moment, because this smells way too on-point for it to be a coincidence. It's a bright swirl of roses and juicy cherries, and then slowly it melts into a delicious haze of sugary vanilla caramel. It literally goes from elegance to pure indulgence. Performance is insane. This thing lasts longer than some of my bad decisions and leaves a fantastic trail. Two sprays and you’re set for the whole day - maybe even tomorrow! I live in a country where perfume is basically sold like precious metals, so Scarlet feels like finding a gold bar in the discount bin. A total steal to be honest. If luxury is the illusion, Scarlet just pulled off the magic trick of the year.

First impressions: The opening is strange - first, I thought I could smell something like tomato/paprika sauce (only my imagination, I guess). Then I got a sweet black cherry with rose. But it's not that liquor cherry you get in the Lost Cherry or other "inspirations". This is a straight, black candied cherry. It's interesting. Definitely for fall/winter/night/date. I like smelling whiffs of it throughout the day. I wish it had developed more, but will see in the future. Usually, these ME dupes smell very similar to OGs but it's just an impression of the original, they lack the complexity, nuances and dry down that the OGs have. But you got what you pay for. A like, not love.

I will update when she has had time to sit and think about her rude first impression. Hopefully she will decide to be nicer. But for now, I think an honest 1st impression is fair. It encourages people to hang in there and wait for maturation. On first spray, I was immediately taken to childhood. It was a distinct flash back to the cheap "starter' perfumes from the grocery store. I was struggling to imagine this developing into something I would wear. That night my teenage son hugged me goodnight and said, you smell like a candle. Not at all what was hoping for. I do smell rose, cherry and a slightly spicy kick, but for now, it is swimming in something cheap from the 80's.

I just got it and should let it mature for a few weeks before I review, but I got excited because my first impression (woooow + I know you), yes top notes reminds me of Teriaq by lattafa (just at first seconds ) and guess what? Both Teriaq and Fétiche La Rose are by Quentin Bischs, If you have experienced Quentin Bischs roses, you will recognise him in here. It also reminds me of mom’s vintage lipstick when it drysdown while the opening is sweet rose dipped in cherries jam😋so delicious Edit: after four months of macerating still stunning and softer, I love peppery-rose here, otherwise dislike sweet roses.

Quite synthetic and linear, but it's fun! I don't find anything particularly challenging about this fragrance, to be honest. I think it's just general population disliking rose and patchouli, especially together, hence the reactions. The super intense and persistent pepper note could also be the culprit behind some of the negative opinions. The parameters are nuclear to the point it gets obnoxious for me at times. I also pick up lots of vanilla, but I'm just sensitive to vanilla. Really debating whether I should go for a full bottle...

I'm very happy with this one its heavy and strong on rose ( not fresh rose in the drydown more like a dried rose ) , black cherry and the pink pepper( wich is my love in perfume) it makes me think of like cozy winter evening ball where I'm all dressed up in a chic black dress listeing to soft opera music echoing from far. It gives that that kind of vibe , definitely a nightime fragrance, i got this blind and I really dont regret it but get a sample first if you plan on getting this , all in all I'm very satisfied .

I had higher expectations! It’s not a bad perfume at all but it was not what I was hoping for. You get a very ”old-school-vibe” when you spray it. Smells like something my mum would wear during the late 80’s and early 90’s. It’s very powdery but in a nice way. Luxurious, mature and sexy as hell! PERFECT for a date. I give it a strong 6,5/10.
