Ansaam Gold

I ordered Ansaam Gold specifically as a dupe, because as much as I love Parfums de Marly Oriana, she has zero lasting power and I refuse to continue to support a fragrance house that charges *that much* for something that lasts an hour. That's some real balls you have, PdM. So, how good a dupe is Ansaam Gold? **TL;DR: Incredible - even better than Oriana thanks to beast mode sillage and enduring lasting power. 10/10 dupe, almost identical, even when compared with Oriana side by side.** For my full and very long winded review, keep reading... I compared Ansaam Gold to Oriana (one on each arm) and here's my thoughts: At first spray (wrist, inner elbow, back of hand): Ansaam has slightly less citrus, slightly more powder. Same sweetness, same overall vibe, definitely smells the same, but stronger. I'm getting the mandarin, musk and vanilla. If I didn't already have Oriana sitting on my other arm for this test, I'd easily mistake Ansaam for her. At 10 minutes: I am giggling at how hard Lattafa have nailed this. Ansaam is the same smell but much bolder - I can smell it without actively sniffing. Creamsicle sweet with the dryer sheets / laundry powder vibe. At 30 minutes: Still creamsicles and dryer sheets but the fluffy, citrusy marshmallow and vanilla are coming through more. Ansaam, I think, is starting to warm up and has *more* fluff, *more* warmth, and still a nice bold scent throw. This is so incredibly spot-on as a dupe. At 1.5 hours: Oriana is starting to die out now. Based on experience, another 30 minutes or so and she'll be gone. As it is, she's settled into a skin scent and I'm sniffing my arm to identify her notes. Ansaam Gold, on the other hands, is still sitting pretty where she was at 30 minutes. There is something "car air freshener" about Oriana coming through, when I compare them side by side. I think maybe Ansaam Gold has a more sugary fruitiness. Without a comparison, I always thought Oriana was super fruity, but Ansaam obviously more so, and that is making Oriana smell a little more masculine or synthetic by comparison. At 3 hours: Oriana is well and truly gone. Ansaam Gold still working her magic. SO just came in and said he loves when I wear this one...Oriana is one of his faves and obviously that's what he thinks this is. This is just marshmallows with citrus syrup and a warm, fluffy cashmere sweater now. I expect, based on Oriana, that this is where Ansaam will sit until she fades. At 5 hours: I'm at the gym and just had 2 of the staff separately tell me I smell "lovely" and "like ice cream". I can still smell this on my elbow and around me in general, but I've definitely washed it off my hand and wrist a hundred times over. At 7 hours: Home, showered, and I can still smell it softly on my inner elbow. So tempted to spray more, but trying to let this test run! At 11 hours: It's bed time and I can still get a whiff of Ansaam if I try really hard. So does SO, he just pointed it out when I rolled over. Overall: Magical lasting powder, large scent bubble, and spot on dupe for PdM Oriana. I literally can't see any reason to shell out the big coins for her, except if you like the bright pink bottle. But Ansaam Gold is superior in every category. Well done Lattafa.

I have tested it in a perfume store, This fragrance is cozy from the first spray, starts with fruity, Jasmine and Bubblegum Candy fragrance, then these ingrediant moves to the background with a hint of Raspberry, the dry down is musk with cozy sweety vanilla plus a simple touch of powdrey. I put it in my wish list, I think it's special perfume from lattafa, I had read that it's a dupe of "Oriana Parfums de Marly", I didn't smell it to insure this information, but surly this perfume is masterpeice from lattafa for it's resonable price. Synthetic fragrance here if it exist is unnoticeable at all, In General, I advise anyone going to buy any of lattafa perfumes to macerate it from 2 - 3 mothes then start to use it, beacause the maceration make the pefrume ingrediants to be harmonizes together. If you didn't smell this perfume before, I advise that you can blind buy if you interest fresh sweety vanilla with a little touch of powdery perfumes. Balanced Very elegant, classy suitable to very feminine women, this kind of cozy sweet vanilla exist in perfumes like; "Attraction Avon", "Nebras Lattafa", "Evoke Silver Edition Ajmal", "Yara Lattafa" but it's not a dupe for any of them. This fragrance suitable to wear it during the day or at Night in winter and Autumn seasons, It lasts 8 hours on the leather and one day on the clothes. لقد جربته في متجر للعطور، هذا العطر مريح من أول رشة، يبدأ برائحة الفواكة والياسمين وحلوى العلكة، ثم تنتقل هذه المكونات إلى الخلفية مع لمحة من رائحة توت العليق، أما قاعدة العطر فهي المسك مع الفانيليا الحلوة المريحة بالإضافة إلى لمسة بسيطة من البودرية. لقد وضعته في قائمة أمنياتي، أعتقد أنه عطر مميز من لطافة، لقد قرأت أنه نسخة طبق الأصل لرائحة عطر "أوريانا من دي مارلي"، لم أشمه للتأكد من هذه المعلومة، ولكن بالتأكيد هذا العطر تحفة فنية من لطافة بسعره المعقول. الرائحة الصناعية هنا إذا كانت موجودة فهي غير محسوسة على الإطلاق، بشكل عام، أنصح أي شخص ينوي شراء أي من عطور لطافة بتعتيقه لمدة 2 - 3 أشهر ثم يبدأ في استخدامه، لأن التعتيق يجعل مكونات العطر متناغمة معًا. إذا لم تشمِ هذا العطر من قبل، أنصحك بإمكانك شراؤه شراء أعمى إذا كنتِ مهتمة بعطور الفانيليا الحلوة المنعشة مع المسك ولمسة بسيطة من الرائحة البودرية. متوازن أنيق للغاية، راقٍ ومناسب للنساء شديدات الأنوثة، هذا النوع من الفانيليا الحلوة المريحة موجود في عطور مثل؛ "أتراكشن من أفون"، "نبراس من لطافة"، "إيفوك الزجاجة الفضية من أجمل"، "يارا من لطافة" لكنه ليس بديلاً لأي منهم. هذا العطر مناسب لارتدائه أثناء النهار أو في الليل في فصلي الشتاء والخريف، يدوم لمدة 8 ساعات على الجلد ويوم واحد على الملابس.

This is going to be somewhat controversial!... but maybe not. I just got this scent, no maturation has occurred, making this sentiment tentative; It’s 6 months old already since it’s PD; and, I am a man. That being said, I am the type of man that wears fragrances for my own pleasure, regardless of intended consumer. I have many fragrances marketed as feminine, unisex, as well as, masculine. I bought this because of the trending statements that it smelled of Orange Blossom. I am a huge fan of the orange blossom not which probably comes down to nostalgia as many women in my family wore fragrances that featured the note prominently when I was much younger. Yes, this is orange blossom right out the gate. But, the orange blossom has a denser, thicker , sharper or pungent feeling to it that makes me feel like it’s a close cousin to neroli... maybe a layered effect? Mind you, it’s not as dirty, earthy green as neroli. But, it’s not the light, airy, warm Orange Blossom either. This quality leans this fragrance towards a unisex nature. It is very beautiful and pleasant. Here is the possible controversy... it smells like a better, more wearable version of TF Neroli Portafino! I like NP but this knocks it out of the water. Im going to have to layer them and see what magic results. Now, it’s only been one day. It’s very linear at the moment. Projection and longevity seem average. Sillage is stellar. Will this change with time? We’ll see. My favorite Orange Blossom fragrance of all time remains Prada Infusion d’Orangeur. I still have bottles of many of the fragrances in that line. It is a masterpiece... as are all the entries in that line. Update: It’s only been two weeks but this fragrance has changed. It’s now more balanced and the “dirtiness” that was present initially is gone. The projection and longevity have increased and if you’re not deliberate with the placement and number or sprays, it can become cloying quickly. It’s still a beautiful fluffy, powdery orange dreamsicle scent. The biggest and best news is the results of layering this fragrance with Lattafa Affection. The combination of the marshmallowy orange blossom with the creamy pistachio fluff is phenomenal and should be a new fragrance. It is for me.

I first reviewed this 5/1, when it was a newly opened bottle. As you can see, I hated it. Twenty days later, I am not in love, but I'm not hating this at all. That screaming candy sweetness has calmed down. I think what I'm getting more of now is a combo of rose-raspberry-vanilla (if not vanilla, then musk). The point is that, while this is still sugary, it's softer and the dry down has some powder. I will wait for it to get even softer. It's still too sweet for me (and I LOVE sweet!) so... we will see. As of right now, this is one I would give to a friend and not miss it much. (Trust me - there WILL be an update coming!) I am going to have to get better at understanding notes and accords because this one is throwing me off. (It is a new bottle & Lattafa scents do need time to ripen, so...) Here is what I get right now: UPDATE A year to the day... FINALLY! I can now say that I am falling in love with this,. It now reminds me of Sakeena - which I always liked but only in cooler temps. This doesn't have the sharp sweetness of Sakeena that can be overbearing in warmer temps. I also am getting a whiff of the raspberry. Man! I am so glad I didn't give this away... 1 minute after spraying: Sweet candy with some soapy-cherry medicine smell. And that's it. I get nothing else except *maybe* the cherry medicine is raspberry medicine. I'm begging for some citrus or vanilla, or at least some musk. 5 minutes later: still the medicine. I can almost taste the memory of being given spoonfuls of a cough medicine. 10 minutes later (or maybe 15 min): Nothing much has changed except that I can *sense* the rose note. I am going to set this aside for some days or weeks and then do an update. If I had to rate this right now, it would come in as the first Lattafa scent that I have every seriously disliked. Right now, it's not jsut unimpressive, but it also smells cheap - and I have NEVER had a cheap-smelling Lattafa! If this had been my first (instead of Nebras), it would be my last.

Very, really, extremely, TREMENDOUSLY glad I didn't drop my cash on Oriana. This is a fantastic dupe, and the presentation is gorgeous. When I first received this, AG progressed *slightly* different on my skin - Oriana's "sour candy" note lasted longer, whereas here the fluffy laconic base notes come out to play a lot sooner, but 3 months later that is no longer true! I guess maceration isn't a myth because Ansaam Gold is now completely indistinguishable from my Oriana sample. Overall they're extremely similar, and to put it bluntly the performance of this pisses all over Oriana. Ansaam Gold lasts longer AND projects better - it's still not going to fill a room or choke people out (as long as you spray sensibly) but this doesn't sit so close to the skin either; moderate silage rather than intimate. Also there's the whole thing where PdM have decided to take the Pink Tax to its absolute extreme: whilst there's some variation in pricing for the men's perfumes, typically £230 will get you 125ml. £230 in the women's section, however, will only get you 75ml (a men's 75ml runs for about £190). So your choice is that nonsense, or this for ~£30 at 100ml - a total no-brainer IMO. Edit: As of 2025, this has aged like fine wine - the longevity is INCREDIBLE now! I get 12+ hours out of it. I don't know _exactly_ how long it lasts because it's gone by the time I wake up in the morning, but when I say it lasts morning til night I mean it very literally. PdM aught to hang their heads in shame lol

Preface: I have never smelled Oriana. I have no point of reference for that. But I HAVE smelled Kilian's LDBS. As soon as I found out that was Riri's go to I dropped everything and went to Sephora. So I don't have $300 to spend right now! OR in the foreseeable future! Let's look for DUPES. Admittedly, I purchased this so I can have an idea of what Oriana smells like -- but straight up this smells like a less spicy LDBS. Is that what Oriana smells like? Y'all my face when I sprayed the first few drops was incredible LOL I was NOT expecting it to smell like this!!!! VERY sweet. Also to my nose it is powdery, citrusy (orange mostly), and yes slightly floral. I know it says jasmine, but I'm getting straight up orange blossom. Thank god it isn't overwhelming because I cannot stand orange blossom in high concentrates (I'm a SoCal girly we got orange groves EVERYWHERE where I am at). I also do smell that rosiness in the back, she is BARELY THERE OKAY but it is adding such a romantic facet to this scent that you can really identify after sitting and smelling yourself for a moment. It is probably more of that raspberry giving that off but I love the fantasy and I am living my bliss.

Of all Lattafa fragrances, this is one of the best ones! I've owned small sample bottles of both PDM's Oriana and Kilian Love Don't Be Shy. I would say this is a very, very good dupe of Oriana. There are similarities with Love Don't Be Shy in the dry-down. However, it's not a perfect 1:1 dupe. Prices do tend to affect these things. I compare it to going to a restaurant - you can order a salad with the same ingredients from restaurants of differing price points but the higher-end one with the skilled chef is going to enhance the food simply by the way they chop it. It's the little things. Having said that, if you're someone who wants to save your Oriana or LDBS for special occasions while you use Ansaam Gold as a very close everyday scent, I promise most people won't be able to tell the difference. I've bought some duds (as far as Arabian fragrances go) but this one is going to be on my re-purchase list. It's a beautiful, sweet fragrance for those who enjoy sweet fragrances. I've had mine for over a year and I find that spring is the best time to wear it, when it's warm but not too hot. This is definitely Top 3 Lattafa fragrances for me.

I'm exploring Lattafa Perfumes after blind-buying "Teriaq Intense" and really liking it. I wasn't quite sure where to begin. So, I decided to purchase several of Lattafa's most hyped fragrances. I read all the social media hype about Ansaam Gold. So, I thought "why not??" Ansaam Gold is definitely a lovely gorgeous scent. Having owned/own and worn PdM "Oriana," By Killian "Love Don't Be Shy" and (several bottles of) Memo Paris "Sintra," I'd say Ansaam Gold is DEFINITELY in a similar wheelhouse. For me, Ansaam Gold is 95% Oriana. I will never again pay the retail price for any PDM perfume. Ansaam Gold is an uber-feminine, soft, sweet, creamy, vanilla, fruity, orange blossom fragrance. I'd say sweet notes, marshmallow accord, vanilla and wonderful orange blossom dominate the fragrance. A perfect and affordable alternative to LDBS, Oriana, or Sintra. And as I've experienced with several Lattafa dupes, Ansaam Gold's performance (strength, duration, intensity) is stellar. I've allowed my bottles of Ansaam Gold to settle and the perfume's quality and performance greatly improve with time. Ansaam Gold is very pretty! I love it! I love it!

I bought this back in december and instantly liked it, now i'm in love with it, i've never smelled Oriana so I can't say if its an accurate dupe but I have Love Dont Be Shy and I wouldn't say this is a dupe in my opinion. To me Ansaam Gold opens up fruity and citrusy and slightly sharp i'm guessing that's the mandarin, and as it starts to settle into the mid notes I start to get this very sweet almost bubblegummy quality and a very powdery marshmallowy sweetness, the rose and jasmine provide a soft pretty feminine vibe. I also detect some orange blossom in here even though its not listed in the notes but that could be the mandarin and jasmine tricking my nose, Overall this is a very pretty and soft sweet scent but I can definitely see how this could come across as "too mature" or "old lady like" to some so I would say try to get a sample of it first before commiting to a full bottle. Edit: I forgot to mention the projection on this is amazing, my mom says she smells it all the way in the next room everytime I wear it lol, also i get about 5 hours of wear on my skin and 8+ hours on my clothes.

As an avid perfume collector, I am always seduced by any hype around any fragrance and I blind buy on impulse way too much. Consequently, I have made many mistakes. Too many to list. My current fragrance obsessions are LDBS and Oriana but as a chronic oversprayer (and questionable performance of both of these fragrances) I end up spending alot of money which I don't mind if its worth it but often I can feel dissapointed. I read the reviews for Ansaam Gold and hesitated for a long time because of previously wasting money on Arabian perfumes but I purchased it last week and I am SO glad I did. This is gorgeous in every sense. From the box and the bottle to the fragrance itself, It's so perfect. It performs beautifully, I can smell it all day. It's more Oriana for me but I get the LDBS too. I am not sure that while this exists, that I will ever buy Oriana or LDBS again. I paid £29.00 for this from Fragrance World. If you love either LDBS or Oriana but want to save your money buy this. Just try it for yourself and see. I'm obsessed with it.

Ansaam Gold is a stunning blind buy success that defies simple categorization. I bought this as a blind buy expecting fruity marshmallow vibes and was initially let down when I didn't get that. Upon first spray I detected an orangey, lemon pledge type cleaning product smell that quickly dried down into grandmas perfume. I wore it once and put it away for a couple of weeks thinking I was likely doing to give it away, because although I am a grandma, I don't want to smell like one at age 45. A few weeks later, I tried her again and baby... she is amazing. I just needed to accept her for what she is. She smells like a grapey dryer sheet and a crisp breeze blended into a soft angel kissed dusting of powder. Elevated, confident and absolutely beautiful. I no longer get the cleaning product smell at all. I guess she just needed to sit and macerate for a while.

I went through a whole character arc with this fragrance. I was really not a fan of this in the opening. To my nose, it smelled like bathroom cleaner, super citrus forward. I couldn’t smell the fruity florals or the vanilla musk base, but I just can’t seem to stop sniffing the dry down! It’s is a soft clean vanilla, fluffy and almost marshmallow-like but without the powdery edge. The citrus in the opening still carries through to the base but moved more into the background, adding to the overall softness of the scent and blending beautifully with the raspberry and jasmine. I don’t get much rose here, a good thing imo. The jasmine here is also quite fluffy and doesn’t have the funkiness of some jasmine scents. I’m still trying this out, so I’ll update if my opinion changes.

Vanilla, raspberry, mandarin orange and a hint of marshmallow: Right up in my alley ! There's no word to describe how much I love this scent. For reference, I own Oriana from PDM that I really love and Love don't be Shy from Kilian, which is my favorite scent ever. I have to say that Ansaam Gold is in the same family of LDBS but they are not the same at all. However, it is extremely similar to Oriana that you don't even need to buy the latest as Ansaam Gold, is sweeter, stronger, last longer and way cheaper. This can be worn all year around, night and day for sure. The bottle design is also super pretty and has a luxury look. As usual, Lattafa never disappointed !

Almost identical to Oriana and Love Don't Be Shy just as I had hoped. I can't speak for longevity yet but neither of the aforementioned are long lasting anyway so for a fraction of the price it's a win win. Some reviewers talk about other musky type of notes but I don't get any of that, just the same orange marshmallow sweet goodness of the originals. The initial spray on skin smelled alarmingly of alcohol but quickly softened into the familiar notes. It seems this may only get better with maceration but unlike other Arab perfumes this seems good to go right away. I'm very happy with it since $300 for the originals just isn't in my budget.

I was worried I wouldn't like this due to the "old lady"-comments. If this smells like an old lady, it smells like the most classy, gorgeous, old-money old lady ever. Edit: Unfortunately I do gotta say that the longevity seems to be horrendous on me. After literally an hour it's undetectable. I thought it was just my poor sense of smell (ironic as a perfumelover) but my boyfriend who has an impressively sensitive sense of smell confirmed it. It may just have to be sprayed a couple more times. I usually just do 3 times - might work better to double it. Still beautiful though!

I don’t know why I waited so long to get this. I kept hearing the hype behind it, but didn’t pull the trigger because I thought it was gonna be too sweet. To my nose, it really does smell like the sample I had of PDM’s Oriana. It is sweet, but it’s balanced nicely with the citrus and other fruity notes. When the musky vanilla notes come out from hiding as it dries down, it’s a romantic dream. It’s youthful, flirty, gourmand, and makes me feel like I’m surrounded in a cozy cloud. I can picture this being how Glinda the Good Witch would smell once she came out of her bubble.

I got this one from a discovery kit (20 ml bottle - love the size). When I first sprayed this I was like, “uh-oh, this smells really vintage, maybe too vintage”. Then I remembered it may need to sit. Well, a couple months later and it is addictive. The marshmallow, which is not listed, is what I smell most. The florals and the sweet notes really check the box for my sweet tooth. All that said, this is sophisticated sweetness, just beautiful. I think this fragrance can be worn all year but that’s yet to be seen. Definitely one to try.

This got me skeptical at first to the point I wanted to return it. After a few minutes the most beautiful dry down came up. Needless to say I cancelled my return request. I have no doubt this will only get better as it macerates Update : this is amazing. the dry down is INCREDIBLE and the projection is so good !!! Sprayed this around 6 hours ago (like 4 sprays) and I can still smell it as I'm typing this. cosy, sweet, warm marshmallows... yum.......
