Art Of Nature I

Lattafa Art of Nature is a masterclass in intensity, blending raw, animalic leather with a uniquely vibrant fruitiness and a prominent rhubarb note. While it shares a DNA with scents like Oud Maracuja or Azzure Oud, it maintains its own distinct character. Because of its formidable presence, a light hand is essential; it is easy to go anosmic if over-applied. However, its massive longevity makes it an incredible base for layering. I found a 1:3 ratio with Habibi NY Sahara Rose Absolute creates a stunning, amped-up rose with a deeply complex, spicy undercurrent that lasts all day. Art of Nature is a 'special occasion' powerhouse. Because its heavy leathery-sweet profile is best appreciated during formal winter nights, it won't see frequent rotation in a casual setting. A 50ml offering would be more than enough, considering how little juice is required per application to make an impression. Update: I've been wearing this more regularly, and grown comfortable with its dominance, even emboldened by it. This is a glorious fragrance. Only it is definitely not for the uninitiated.

I never smelled something similar like this, its suuuuuperr unique. opens up with juicy ripe plums. the opening such a compliment galore, i got 2 compliments within the first hour applying it. After that the fruity still strong, but the leather and oud starting to peeking up. the oud is weak in the opening, but more prominent in drydown. performance was absolute beast. 12hrs still smell it quite strong. Scent: 10 (for freshie, this is unbeatable) Projection: 10 (5hrs still projecting, what can i say?) Sillage: 9.5 (people still could smell your scent trail within 2 meters, even after you gone for minutes) Longevity: 9.5 (easily 12hrs+ on my skin) AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING FRAGRANCE with high versatility. I hope lattafa doesnt reformulate or made it discontinue.

One of the more interesting offerings from Lattafa, right off the bat I get a peculiar blend of ripe fruits and a slightly pungent leather. After the initial blast of aromas, it settles into a very nice fruity leather with the vanilla and oud rounding it out. The scent overall is original and isn’t a crowd pleaser like AON II, but that’s not the point. This BANGS and is a bang for your buck too, you won’t smell like everybody else. Lattafa has not failed me with this line and I can proudly say I’m a Lattafa fan boy. 🐪 blind buy at your own risk but if you’re familiar with niche, then this won’t be a problem. It’s damn good.

Nose Note #712 The notes don't lie here - instead of Maracuja it has a prominent plum/fig/rhubarb accord. Which is a very cute twist on Oud Maracuja. I don't like it half as much as I LOVE Azzure Oud. I'd say it's actually very different from Azzure Oud, it's less rich and maybe less oudy - which may be a plus for some. Was I disappointed with this? No. This is just not the same DNA for me, just an interesting and big twist. Long lasting and all, but I feel like it falls behind Azzure Oud a little bit. 8/10, very decent perfume on its own, if you love this direction

Random gift from my husband (who is quite liking my fraghead persona and the side benefits for him). He chose this one purely for the novelty box but he knows I enjoy Lattafa products, and this one is rather lovely, like a plate of ripe figs and plums. The leather and oud are very gentle and centre the whole composition beautifully - as another commenter said, it feel like a warm hug. It is not one I would have bought for myself, but I am really enjoying it.:)

Verrrry interesting. I sprayed it on my hunkband. At first spray, it smells of band-aids. The dry down, though. Its interesting. I can't figure it out. I hated it. But, then, I liked it. I wonder what some maturation will do to this animal. I have over 300 fragrances. This is a very tangy, obscure scent. I can't put a finger on it. I'm intrigued!! On my hub, it's magnetically attractive.😍 It's a good feminine/masculine mix. Hmmmmmmm🤔

People buying this and expecting to be Oud Maracuja clone are stupid, scent wise this is excellent, performace is great, but its own thing not as people claims to be Oud Maracuja clone, i bet if you would go to store, and not knowing what oud maracuja smells like, you would say "Damn this smells really good", stop Clone thing already! They are not cloning Oud Maracuja with this one, its own thing.

This is seriously good. I dont know why some are hating on it just because their presentation and that Lattafa got another similar scent. This is an improvement, stronger projection and super long lasting. Oh and I love the presentation with the bottle and the box. Almost photorealistic passionfruit with a hint of woody oud and leather. 9/10

Art of Nature I really smells great! When first sprayed on, the fruit combination always seems to brighten my day. Definetely a Unisex fragrance that can be worn year-round. Yes, even in hot weather. As an aside, the fragrances from Lattafa are inexpensive. Many of the bottles are very artsy and would look great on display in any collection.

I was at the store and i already bought another fragrance and I smelled this out of curiosity without any plans to buy and as soon as I smelled it I immediately knew I was going to buy and asked for a bottle and this is coming from someone who doesn't really like oud, so this tells you everything you already need to know about this fragrance

Love this. I have both this and azzure aoud and I'd say they're about 50 percent to each other. Big difference is azzure aoud has passionfruit and this has fig, plum and rhubarb. I just got this so I bet in a few days performance will be beast mode. Straight out of the box it's pretty strong. 9/10 on this one.

This cologne is great! Bought it blind as my first introduction into art of nature. The opening kinda reminds me of a bandaid kinda smell but quickly cools down into something beautiful with the plum and fig notes. It last for a great amount of time on my skin. 5+ hours with the first 3 projecting REALLY good.

This is a lovely fruity leather and oud. The notes are blended so seamlessly that it's a smooth harmonious blend. No note is fighting for attention instead playing nicely together as a team. You will notice mostly leather and oud which makes this scent unisex. The leather here is soft like suede. Love.

This smells nothing like Oud Maracuja, Azzure Aoud, Ajwad Pink to Pink or Art of Nature I or Cocoa Morado. The only 2 of this list that are very close is Oud Maracuja and Azzure Aoud. Art of Nature I is just amazing. I've never smelled Hibiscu Majad, but now I have to try it!

Update on my earlier review. This is beast mode. 12 plus hours of longevity and it projects for a good 3 hours. If you love oud and fruits like me this is a no brainer. No clue how so many people rated the sillage as moderate. This is close to enormous.

Update to my review. Before this was very rhubarb heavy with time it’s a plum sweet mix as well. This is a great scent very unique it’s just so damn hard to wear cuz it’s so animalic and strong. Like I would daily this but ik ppl would hate me lol

Starts off with a beautiful plum..juicy,sweet. Then suddenly it turns into something mysterious. Beautiful. I can't put my finger on it. Obscure..but magical. This is special, folks. Lattafa are building a reputation, and they deserve it.

I just got a decant, tried and WOW! Just loved it. Something warm comes from this scent, cozy, you fell embraced by it. I really loved it! It's been a while since a perfume makes me feel like this... amazing! Truly amazing!

This smells so good, I get some Ombré in the dry down, but this is fire and it hasn’t macerated yet. It’s strong and lasts all day also. I can’t wait until it’s below 50 daily here in GA so I can test it in the cold.

To be honest after some oxigenation this became quite lovely (and very good perfomance). Yet still, just yesterday i received a “oud maracuja? Damnn” so yeah, even if its a twist, even non-fragheads get there.

Anyone with European parents will recognize the smell of the Rhubarb. That’s all I’m getting from this scent but I like the smell. It’s a bit more mature fruity in my opinion. Def not a blind buy though

I bought Oud Maracujá because of this fragrance, guess what? They are exactly the same! The same! At least for my nose, they are equal!

I may be the only one who’s getting long-cut dipping tobacco off the top, but my word... it is prominent. That isn’t to say this is a bad fragrance, but that initial hit of what I’m guessing to be the rhubarb note, is quite deliberate. In about 5 minutes, that assault has subsided and the fruity, leather, and woody notes come out. This fragrance is unique and long-lasting, and if you like the opening to be vastly different from the dry down, you won’t be let down here. The soft, smooth, sweet, woody base is worth the strange introduction. I don’t feel confident rating beyond an 8 of 10, but this is a new bottle. Time and maturation may change my perspective.

Bold and intense with great longevity. Smells like the entrance of a Romanian Orthodox church—leather jackets hung around, infused with incense drifting in from the nave, clinging to everything it touches. Absolutely fantastic fragrance in my opinion.

This is nice. Fruity, leathery, strong, probably best for fall. Despite saying it's unisex, I get more female vibes due to all of the fruit notes. If it were a safe blind buy, it'd be for the lady on your life.

It has fruity Oud Maracuja opening and Byredo Bibliotheque dry down. The performance is very good!

A very polarizing scent. Some will love it, some will be haters. I'm kinda on the fence with this one. Uncertain of when/where is suitable time and place to wear this. It's very strong. Notes of earthy, fruity rhubarb and plum mixed with a pungent leather and oud on the dry down. For now, I'm using it to spray my gym towels and wash cloths. I bought this two months ago. I'm waiting to see if the scent profile mature with time. 6.5/10

Very strong and pungent fruity, sweet, oud, not really sure on what occasion someone would want to smell like this. It's kind of one of those scents you like to sniff for the experience of something different, but not sure it's something I'd want to wear out as it stands right now. Maybe it will grow on me. 2/5.

This smells like a blend of 30% Hibiscus Mahajad and 70% Oud Maracuja. The oud in it is the same oud used in Lattafa's Natural Oud. Not a bad scent at all but you'll appreciate it more if you see it as it's own thing, other than a dupe.

An amazing perfume that smells very nice and it has some depth to it to would reccomend Sillage and longevity both are very good to

Bro the first second i smelled it, i thought is was a good perfume close to Oud Maracuja. A minute into the dry down and I want to vomit. It has this rotten cardboard smell to it which is not pleasing at all. Second-worst Lattafa I think I’ve ever smelled, and trust me, I have smelled ALOT

This is an archetype african and arabian smell, an engrossing deep rich smell of Saharan Africa to me. I don't understand why people want to question its obscurity or compare it to western fragrances that only mimick ancient scents that have been already used in africa and arabia for centuries without chemicals, created using just fruits, tree bark, plants etc. making scents is a timeless art arabs and africans have been masters of for thousands of years. Art of Nature is no accidental name and its no accident they put a camel on the botltle, this was for a reason. Its a scent made by arabs to celebrate and reflect their art making original perfumes scents naturally using only what nature gave us. Well done Lattafa for doing this. If europeans and americans don't appreciate it, i for one do and i'm thankful they created this wonderful scent. All the ingredients here are found in Mother Nature.... Top Notes: Plum, Blackcurrant, Fig Middle Notes: Rose, Rhubarb, Leather Base Notes: Oud, Ambergris, Vanilla It smashed me in the chops straight with its arabian fierce yet subtle gorgeousness. It will get better and better over time too, it's had a brief spray to test before putting away for a few months, its beauty slowly eternally shifting like the desert sands. This one is a treasure to savour, the best comes to those only with patience. Ignore all these negative reviews by folks who have probably never been to africa or arabia or smelt anything like this fragrance, and therefore criticize its weirdness or aren't comfortable with it because of it's infamiliarity to their noses and colonial sensibilities. I lived in North Africa amongst arabs and berber and i know how life smells there. The trees, the plants, the fruits, the spices, the people, everything smells more in the heat. Life is vivid and colourful, especially for a european nose like mine. Its a feast for the open minded. I know african arab life, desert heat and nights, and i am telling you from an honest heart this is exactly what they smell like. This scent is like nothing you'll smell anywhere except africa or arabia (and maybe India too, i've never been), it's a touch of heaven and a doorway to the divine for me. Its moody, deep, sweet, earthy, exotic and mysterious, soft yet firm and subtly forceful. Its worth ever penny for the box and presentation too. Of course its kitsch but i love the camel motif. it fits perfectly. This is pure desert smell. UPDATE 7 months later.....this is still fantastic. Stronger now and smoother, with a consistent basenote that keeps it all together much longer. Longevity is now around 7 hours on average, projection mild. Its still a beauty. Some Lattafa scents fall off a cliff after a few months, some get better. This is better than ever. Its a love. Absolutely one for the mu'minoon 8 maybe 9/10 for me depending on hot weather, it works better in high temperatures

I see some people have really gone crazy. This is NOT a clone of any Oud Maracuja. I have and have had several fragrances from Maison Crivelli and it is not a fake... It's just that Lattafa, like other brands from the UAE... tries to create its own, separate fragrance from time to time. It's so simple, but a crowd of crazy touts think it will sell better... as a clone. This is crazy. I have a perfume from MC and it is not a clone or even a so-called inspired fragrance. You may like it (I like AoN I, for example, although I think the bottle is terribly tacky... but it is the scent itself that is most important here), you may as well consider it the worst of all the scents you know... but it has to be assessed as something independent. Look at this, AoN I is seen as the OM clone - madness number one, AoN II... as the Althair clone - madness number two. Everyone sees only fake and imitated fragrances everywhere. How many people among those commenting and voting here have ever smelled real Oud Maracuja??? I suspect no more than 10%. This is probably why there are so many idiotic comments on similar topics... People, I'm begging you...come to your senses.

Art Of Nature I Lattafa This is a love-it-or-hate-it type fragrance. (NOT for everyone.) I can give it props for complexity. But to my nose, this smells like Aunt Judy’s famous spice fruit cake that keeps showing up at Christmas dinner even though she's been gone for 40 years. It's also the one dessert that is privately thrown away after guests have left. I love Oud Maracuja, and smelled it multiple times. This is not even close to it. But it's unique on its own. Certainly in that vein. Off the rip this potent, and all over the place, and for some will be off-putting. Just let it sit for awhile. * Performance 10/10 (Nuclear) if you like this scent profile. * Projection 10/10 (2 - 3hrs) * Longevity 9/10 (8 - 9hrs) on skin. Clothes a year. ← JK. Price point is okay. There are better options out there if you are particularly looking for a cheaper alternative to Oud Maracuja ironically they're both from the same brand. (Fragrance World) Azzure Aoud, and Oud Madness. Enjoy

Black current masterpiece!! Oh man if you’re a fruity oud lover, GET YOUR NOSE ON THIS!!! Wow it’s so good! The black current is so pleasant. The oud is very toned down and it’s amazing! A great first Oud fragrance in my opinion! 10/10 for my taste (Edit) I love this scent so much that I have to come back and say more about it. The oud maracuja dupes are many and vary in quality. This does NOT smell like Maracuja and for that reason I love it. As soon as someone hears fruit and oud they immediately say Oud Maracuja dupe. Please stop this madness lol. Calling this a Oud Maracuja dupe is disrespectful to this masterpiece! It’s so alluring and the fruits mixed with everything makes me feel so attracted to wear it. It gives me so much confidence. It is beautiful in every sense of the word!! Please try this! It is original and unique and again if you are a fruity oud lover, get this!!! It last a long time and projects amazingly! Truly a masterpiece from Lattafa!!

Quite an impressive presentation! After opening the outer sleeve, I was looking at a mirror-polished coppery box with a hinged door. The wonderfully artistic, porcelain-clad decanter itself sits like a gem mounted into a form-fitting black, velvet-lined enclosure within. It's quite beautiful. I wasn't quite sure what to expect after being suitably impressed by the packaging but I have to agree with another poster. This is definitely an acquired taste. The scent, to me, is quite complex and spicy, with a touch of barbershop and leather. I've nothing in my collection that is even remotely close so I cannot compare it to anything familiar. But is unique and I venture to say, may end up being made into candles for its 'incense' aroma.

It is unjust to de-rate a fragrance because there is already a dupe from the same frag house in the market. A fragrance is rated on basis of :- 1- How close it is in scent profile to the original 2- How well it projects & performs 3- How well priced and affordable it is And Not On Basis Of:- 1- How premium the presentation is 2- How many dupes have been made by same house 3- How easily its available in market. These Dupe houses alredy doing an amazing job bringing these high quality designer and niche fragrances (some even discontinued or harder to find) to masses at fraction of cost, least we can do is give them an honest rating based on deserving factors.

Not really a dupe for Oud Maracuja, this is its own animal, though it occupies the same niche space in spirit - fruity oud. Oud Maracuja seems fresher, more acidic in the opening, compared to the ripeness of fruit in this. This reminded me of Black Mango by BORNTOSTANDOUT. All three have their own quirks, and are worth owning if you love this trend of exotic fruits/oud combo, as I do. Well, exotic to me. (Add to that Black Guava by BTSO, if you really want to get in debt.) This gives me a similar ripe mango feel + some dank oud for a second. It settles into a nice fruity leathery scent that's intoxicating. Great stuff.

Nice strong fruity Oud combo! Potent in the air and on skin! Im gonna let it sit for a while! The other good maracuja clone is Armaf Eter Dessert Rose! ART of Nature has a very prominent passion fruit note which subsides after a few mins! Initial opening is damn strong! I read many reviews and check people’s profiles to see how many reviews they have done and which brands in particular! Tells a lot!

Very hard to rate. Mostly fruity and leathery - reminds me of Oud Maracuja and Ajwad Pink to Pink. Potent fragrance. Long lasting and strong projection. Only a special occasion wear because it’s too dominant for most scenarios. Also just like sniffing on the bottle from time to time.

This is certainly not a blind buy type of fragrance... It's pretty stinky imo, it does last long, but it doesn't project a lot. Again, please smell this before buying.
