Asad Bourbon

FIRST IMPRESSION: Wait, is that yummy fruity scent what they call Mirabelle plum? Wow! This smells amazing in the opening, with that fruity accord of Mirabelle. The cacao isn’t far behind—it’s very prominent. The opening leans heavily toward designer DNA and would probably remind many of several designer scents on the market. If I did a blind test, I’d probably guess this was a release from Paco Rabanne or Carolina Herrera. The vanilla runs the show here with the cacao. The lavender is in the background the whole time. This links it to the original Asad. And, of course, the Nutmeg and Pink Pepper adds the spark to the composition. I absolutely love this one!! To think I was ready to call it overhyped. Lol. Edit: The cacao smell is like an amped up and sweetened version of the vague coffee smell I get from Ch men Africa. They DON'T smell the same at all. They're at most 30-40% similar, but they layer well—Ch men Africa is discontinued, btw. If you're angry that this is sweet or that most of Lattafa's newer releases are sweet, youthful, and boring—or maybe you think this is just another mass appealing scent—how about trying other offerings from Lattafa that smell different, unique and "niche-like"? Lattafa has tons. Start with Maahir Black, then Adeeb, Al Ameed, Hala, Ajwad pink, Art of Nature I, Al Areeq Silver, Raw Human, and then Vintage Castle. Everybody has a genre they really like. And these very mass-appealing scents, or "designer DNA," no matter how many they release or how many tweaks they make, will always be loved and sell well—as long as they smell good.

Lattafa Asad Bourbon is a beautiful, sexy, and dangerously addictive fragrance. It opens with a juicy fruity touch from Mirabelle plum, lifted by pink pepper and lavender, before quickly moving into a warm, delicious heart of cacao, nutmeg, amber, and rich vanilla. The scent feels like a seductive mix of Valentino Born in Roma Intense, Azzaro The Most Wanted, and Stronger With You, but with its own chocolatey vanilla twist. It is sweet, spicy, creamy, and masculine without becoming too childish or overly sugary. The cacao and bourbon vanilla combination gives it a warm gourmand sexiness, almost like dark hot chocolate mixed with smooth vanilla and soft spice. This is the kind of fragrance that smells beautiful in the air and gets attention. It is cozy, attractive, and very mass appealing, but still interesting enough to keep smelling again and again. The dry-down is the best part: creamy vanilla, soft cacao, warm amber, and a slightly aromatic freshness that keeps it balanced. Performance is very good, with strong projection in the first few hours and long-lasting power, especially in cooler weather. It is perfect for evening wear, dates, winter nights, and any time you want to smell warm, confident, and irresistible. For the price, Asad Bourbon is an excellent fragrance and easily one of Lattafa’s best releases. Sexy, delicious, smooth, and highly compliment-worthy. Overall rating: 9/10

I got this in a recent fragrance haul consisting of Lattafa Asad, Armaf Precieux, Anfar Bateig Azul, Anfar Azure Spirit, Jimmy Choo Man Blue, Lattafa His Confession, Boss Bottled Parfum. Despite not being dissatisfied with any of the purchases, I love this one the most. The fragrance opens up and reminds me of Azzaro's The Most Wanted Parfum right away, which I own. After 30 mins or so, I felt it transition into something else I own, Valentino Uomo Born in Roma Intense, which it stayed as for the remainder of its duration. So, Bourbon is basically TMW Parfum in the open, then BiR Intense for the hours-long remainder of the fragrance, leaving a majestic vanilla trace at its end. Because I also own Asad and Zanzibar, I can say that Bourbon is the best of the line and I loved this one just as much as my original Valentino. For the price I paid (£18), I feel this is extreme bargain territory and with the leaps and bounds that fragrance houses like Lattafa are making, they are making top-quality fragrances affordable at very modest prices. Lattafa Asad Bourbon is a winner!

This is a very easy to like vanilla scent, and it’s my signature for fall and winter. It’s nice warm and a bit cozy but fresh enough to be versatile and mass appealing for school and office environments. I don’t have a ton of vanilla in my collection yet, but I got so many compliments on this and I wear this almost every day during the colder season. I woulden't call this a dupe of anything, even though it’s trying to blend Born in Roma and Azzaro the most wanted EDP, but I prefer this over both of those. It’s opening is harsh but it quickly cools down to a sweet inviting pleasantness. This is an easy reach for me and even though I like other fragrances more, this has become sort of synonymous with my identity because of how much I find myself wearing it. I love this stuff so much. It’s refined, easy, smooth, and easy to love. Projection and longevity for me is amazing too. Scent: 9/10 Longevity: 8-10 hours Projection: 8/10

Sinceramente, o Asad Bound me surpreendeu demais. Eu já esperava algo bom, mas ele entrega bem mais do que o preço sugere. É um perfume marcante, encorpado e elegante, daqueles que chegam junto e deixam rastro. A abertura é intensa, quente e envolvente, com uma pegada doce bem equilibrada — nada enjoativa. Conforme vai secando, ele fica mais sofisticado, com um fundo amadeirado e especiado que passa sensação de perfume caro, bem construído. Não tem aquele cheiro artificial ou raso que alguns perfumes nessa faixa costumam ter. A fixação é excelente, segura fácil por horas na pele, e a projeção é forte, principalmente nas primeiras horas. É perfume pra noite, frio, eventos, balada ou quando você quer se destacar. Não é discreto — é presença. Pra quem gosta de perfumes quentes, modernos e com personalidade, o Asad Bound entrega tudo. Pra mim, virou um dos favoritos fácil.

Um dos árabes noturnos mais equilibrados que já senti. Na minha pele, a saída é pura lavanda. Só sinto essa ameixa quando borrifo ele no ar, porque na pele, é imperceptível pra mim, o que não é um grande problema pra quem gosta de lavanda. No coração, a nota de cacau se torna muito evidente, mas não chega a ser protagonista. Isso por causa da nota de baunilha, que apesar de não ser o que aparece na pirâmide olfativa, é a nota principal da fragrância desde o coração. Na base (depois de umas 7-8 horas) o cacau some, é dá lugar a um âmbar bem confortável que acompanha a baunilha até o fim. 10-12 horas de fixação na minha pele, com projeção média-forte nas primeiras 2 horas. Perfume muito agradável, dulçor na medida, boa qualidade (não dá dor de cabeça), perfeito pra saídas noturnas em climas mais amenos e dias frios. Recomendo 4-6 borrifadas dependendo da ocasião.

I finally blind bought this after going back and forth about it. It has been pretty hyped up and expensive so I waited until the hype cooled down . Found it for a great price and what a absolute treasure this is. Straight out of the box good, a couple of days later fantastic. Such a simple yet smooth soothing vanilla fragrance mixed a little lavender and coco. Such an incredibly comforting scent . The sweetnes is just right . Not too sweet or too sour . It's just perfectly balanced. I'm not sure what it's cloning but I don't care , this is an absolute favourite of mine from Lattafa. In conclusion: A fantastic fragrance by Lattafa. Soft ,smooth , comforting and elegant . If you're a collector then this is a must have in my opinion.

Lattafa Asad Bourbon is a really damn good cologne. On my third wear after I let the scent matured, I understood the similarity to 'Azzaro: The Most Wanted' and it honestly isn't far off. For $30-40, this is good enough for those that want to smell like 'Most Wanted' without having to drain their wallet. If you want to smell like 'Most Wanted', this cologne is your go to as previously mentioned it is budget-friendly. For me I mostly smell cacao, amber, and bourbon vanilla, and this cologne blends all of those together very nicely.. making it easily one of my favorites of the Asad line and favorite cologne in general. Best for fall and winter wear. Scent Profile: 10/10 Longevity: 9/10 (7-9 hrs) Sillage: 9/10 Overall: 9/10

As you have probably read: Not bourbon at all. But perfect for daily wear in the colder seasons. Also suitable for nights out if you don't have a big budget. Lavender dominates in the opening with a bit of pepper and vanilla. After some time spicy sweetness takes over. Strong performance and for this price a no-brainer. Honestly there is no point in even buying the designer originals when you have this, unless you like collecting them. Only thing I don't like is the bottle which also came in damaged, although dupes are not really considered as trophies to display. Overall 9/10

Asad Bourbon is a beautiful fragrance with an incredibly strong opening—fair warning for those with sensitivities or allergies. The scent is sweet, alluring, and sexy, particularly in the first hour. As it develops, it becomes even sweeter and smoother, though the aromatic clarity (purity) is a bit lacking. The projection is impressive and strong, while the sillage is somewhat average. Once the fragrance dries down, the projection fades, but it remains long-lasting on both skin and clothes for several hours. Overall, it’s a sweet scent that is definitely worth the purchase."

Good Asad, totally different from Elixir, which is the only Asad I had. Like many people noted, the notes in this are mixed, and suit more for a younger crowd, I personally enjoy this, as in my mid 20's, but the chocolate note in this stays within both the opening the drydown, which can give off a different scent. Great all arounder for Winter, but if you're getting close to someone rather use a more unique to detailed scent profile, like the classics this is trying to replicate. Awesome chocolate and good vanilla, with the cacao always lingering. 8.8/10

amazing scent, highly recommend. starts with a burst of lavender and mirabelle which melds together and smells super good, it quickly dries down into a sweet creamy vanilla, which is smooth and well blended, longevity is pretty good and i get like 6-8 hours, projection is also decent with people smelling you pretty far for like a few hours. i smell the similarities between this and azzaro tmw but it is more of a twist than a direct clone. cant wait for winter to wear this daily.

De cara venho dizer que talvez seja o melhor da linha asad, mesmo não tendo experimentado o elixir, na primeira vez que experimentei, como fui um cara bem mais de perfumes verdes e amadeirados a minha vida toda não nego estranhei e senti como um perfume feminino, e também em seu primeiro mês o perfume claramente precisava de uma maturação, que com um certo tempo sinto um cheiro claramente MASCULINO e Forte, fixação é ótima e a projeção acho q poderia ser um pouco melhor! 9/10

it`s amazing. I`ve been collecting frags for just 2 months, by now i have 20 frags in my collection, but this one is one of the better ones. It definitely smells like SwY INTENSELY + Azzaro TMW Parfum + Valentino Uomo BIR But I have a Riiffs Wonder Of You which is a clone of SwY intensely and when I first smelled the Asad Bourbon it reminded me it. But side by side they`re a bit different (just 50 %)... One of the most affordable dupes which are actualy worth it. MUST HAVE

This stuff is heavenly. I’m in love with it. It smells like a gourmand, chocolatey dessert—actually, no, more like cocoa powder than chocolate. Somehow, it isn’t cloying. I mean, yes, it would be cloying in extreme summer heat, but you could wear this on any average day of the year. It gets tons of compliments and lasts pretty well. The secret is to let it macerate; the scent profile becomes much richer after proper maceration. Definitely deserving of all the hype!

A lavender/vanilla candle with subtle chocolate smell in the background. Smelling this I get mainly lavender, secondly vanilla, and a smell in the background of chocolate. It’s very smooth and not in-your face. However it’s not cowering in the background, it has decent projection and lasts a good while. Was told I smell like a nice candle while wearing this and I’d have to agree with that comparison. Good value, nothing extraordinary but a good choice. 8/10

Beast mode fragrance and smells really close to SWYI with added chocolate note to my nose. Stayed on my clothes for a literal day (not kidding), sillage is really good as well. Deserves much more love than this. Love this so much, got a backup bottle. Everyone says they smell axe deodorant in this but i don’t think so. I really think lattafa knocked it out of the park with this one. Also, maceration really improved performance in this fragrance.

Such a pleasant scent. A warm, chocolatey vanilla that does stand out amidst other scents, in my opinion. I own Azarro TMW Parfum, not the EDP, which is the OG, but I can tell the similarities and why people consider it a dupe. For me, Azarro TMW EDP is fruitier, while this is a bit more chocolatey and unique, while equally mass appealing. Lasts and projects nicely, and for the price, you can't go wrong. Blind bought it, and no regrets. 9/10

I love this fragrance. Although it’s maybe not the most unique and special, it’s super mass appealing. I get BIR mixed with ATMW but with a deep chocolate under note. This will be my signature fragrance but it performs horribly for me. I’m pretty sure I got a bad batch but for some reason, it lasts only a few hours and the silage is only good for an hour or two and anything after that they’d have to be real close to smell it on you. 10/10!

This fragrance is incredibly sweet and instantly evokes the scent of Valentino or Azzaro. Initially, I adored it, but after a few months, it simply fades into the background. It’s a decent performance that’s suitable for winter. Do I like it? Yes Would I wear it? Yes Does it last? 6 hours Did it blow me away? Yes at first Safe blind? Yes Worth the price? Yes Is it unique? Not really but still good Overall rating: 8/10
