Attar Maitha

Warm, sexy, creamy, caramel. It smells like a smoother version of the viral Lush scent sticky dates. The anise is not noticable, like at all. It is likely adding warmth but that's it. I will be layering all of my gourmonds over this. I have smelled escapade gourmond and I can see the resemblance there as well. I'll have to update this to be able to note on the longevity. Id say if you like either of those fragrances then it's a safe blind buy. Update: this is so strong. The longevity is about 4-6 hours even when layered under something I stop noticing it. Which is okay. I do get the Play-Doh note people have talked about. And I will say I made the mistake of mixing this in with my lotion and the projection was so loud and in my face that I haven't been able to wear it since. It turned cloyingly nauseatingly sweet. Even if you're tempted to, don't overdo the application here. I hope I return back to it because it is so yummy but I already needed a break. A gourmond that is not for the faint of heart lol

Oil version of Escapade Gourmande. Almost an exact dupe, and the packaging is beautiful 😍 The scent is very high quality - just straight up Escapade Gourmande - and I don't get any weird aftersmells (like from cheap fragrance oils). The performance is good too! One dip / two wipes from the stick is enough to spread onto both my arms and create a nice little scent bubble. Sillage is about arm's length, and longevity is about 5 hours on my skin (I haven't tried it on clothes bc oils stain). The bottle is also made from heavy glass and metal, and it seals very nicely. Very well done. The only thing I think they could've changed is the dipstick -- It's not a suction dropper, it's just a straight glass pole, and when you use it, you have to touch the glass to your skin. I think I'll transfer some out into a different bottle. Just from a hygiene standpoint, I do not like touching something and putting it back in the bottle, over and over. Overall 9.5/10

Fascinating. It's a caramel note that I actually like, which is rare for me. I hate most caramel-based gourmands because they smell like stale vape juice to me. I do like woody vanillas and this definitely gives that scent with a nice powdery note in the background. On the dry down, I guess the tonka, on my skin and to my nose, is very coumarin-heavy. It smells like a slightest bit dirty menthol and gives me the feeling of having just smoked a menthol cigarette, in a VERY pleasant way (I am a former smoker so it's definitely scratching an itch). It layers brilliantly with Billie Eilish 2 and Her Confession, if you are into either of those. For me, it lasts over 7hrs on the skin and projection is good. I can smell it on myself/my clothes without smelling my skin directly. It's not overwhelming at all. Nice light scent that is not overpowering. My boyfriend actually likes it, and he's sensitive to scents, so that's worth noting.

Another Burlington pickup, which I was ecstatic to find, considering this item is sold out on and off. I also own Amoura and think the whole line of these oil bottles are just beautiful. Maitha is absolutely a gourmand, but it does pull a slight nuttiness that may come off plasticky at least at first. But the dry down is to die for (it makes me want to lick my skin lol). It gives me a hint of a waffle cone or pre-baked cookies, like amaretti or Biscoff cookies. I got wafts of it from testing on my hand for hours. Excited to pair this with some of my perfumes! Update: This outperforms me layering my perfumes over top of this - almost all I can smell is this. On me, it gives a cookie dough vibe which I love!

Oh my God, this is heavenly. I have Nusuk Falak ( Escapade Gourmande Inspiration ) and this is the exact same scent... warm, caramel, creamy vanilla and a hint of what I perceive as almond/marzipan/biscuits.... its a gourmand dream. I am so happy I have this in my collection... finally, as it was out of stock for so long. If you love sweet, creamy vanilla, caramel fragrances, you will love this. I cannot wait for the cooler weather, it will be beautiful with falak, Cream velvet, Eclaire. I also bought Gulf Orchid Caramelt perfume ( Not on Fragrantica ) and I paired it with this today, as its a bit cooler and I HAD to try it!!! dear God its dangerous...edible dessert that will have people drooling 🤤

i've never smelled escapade gourmande, but if this is what it smells like, i can see why it's so well liked! i can smell every note in this and they harmonize together beautifully. it's a warm, slightly spicy vanilla+caramel perfume oil that layers well with any vanilla-forward moisturizers and fragrances. very sweet and gourmand. if i shove my nose to my skin, i smell play-doh, but otherwise i don't pick up on it. i layered this with my hempz toasted vanilla caramel lotion when i went to the store and a man literally wafted the scent trail i left behind into his nose. i think this is an easy reach and a safe blind buy if you like vanillas and sweet scents.

This is my favorite perfume oil. I got it for Christmas and thank goodness I decided to get two of them. In the fall and winter I stop using the glass dabbler I litterlay just pour it into my hand and rub it in with my lotion. Smells like caramel made in the fall ( not sure if that makes sense). Really would recommend for winter/ fall season, but wouldn't wear in the summer it would be incredibly cloying if I did. I wouldn’t wear on its own I would layer with something but it smells amazing even then. great value as well and the packaging and glass bottle makes this feel like a luxury item it feels more luxury than my 200$ perfumes.

Gourmand Obsession! This stuff is drugs! It is addictive Should be banned. It has that caramelly burnt sugar oomph. The caramelized, burnt sugar note is absolutely delicious and makes you reach for it again and again. It’s also amazing for layering. It blends beautifully with other vanilla fragrances, adding a warm, sweet depth that really elevates them. Performance is excellent — it projects and lasts, which makes it even more addictive. Honestly, this one has become a big love of mine. If you adore gourmand scents, you absolutely need this!

This is beautiful and very much a unisex scent. My husband and I have both used it, and since everyone's skin chemistry is different, the main notes smell different on us,and its such a yum scent. Bought as a blind buy and it was SO worth it! I had to buy some empty roller ball bottles so I can keep it and others with me. I don't get a very heavy anise, but it's there, and it elevates it more than many caramel/vanilla gourmand fragrances. After having it a couple weeks I had to buy a backup bottle. Oh and it layers beautifully!

I like this so much more than I thought I would. Initially thought it smells very similar to Bianco latte (which I own and love). After a side by side comparison of the two, I see that Maitha is like if you took Bianco latte and added a little escape gourmand to it. I’m not a big fan of EG, as it’s just a little too sickly sweet to me. But this oil is really gorgeous. Whenever I get whiffs of myself with it on, it smells so delicious. Very happy with this purchase.

I read all the lovely reviews for this before buying it, I am so glad I listened to y’all!! It is such a creamy caramel vanilla gourmand on my skin I am OBSESSED! I absolutely Love Bianco Latte, Amore Caffe, etc and this will pair nicely with all the other gourmands in my collection! I can’t wait to wear this with Italica. If you love gourmands, you will love this as much as I do! I don’t get any anise and barely any musk, it’s just a beautiful gourmand.

To me this smells like almond sugar cookie dough before it’s been baked. It’s light, airy, and sweet (but not sickly sweet) and I get a light scent of burnt sugar after it’s warmed up on the skin. I layered it with ‘Gentle Reminder’ this morning, and it’s still going strong 8 hours later. I don’t think it’s very similar to Bianco latte, that smells more like pancake syrup sweet to me. This is closer to a powdered sugar kind of sweet.

LIGHTNING IN A BOTTLE! This is an unbelievable dirt cheap dupe for Escapade Gourmand. The bottle is lovely and drumroll...the longevity is 12+ hours. A review earlier compared it to Choco Musk and while Choco Musk is an easy fun cheapie, Maitha is in a completely different league. This lux vanilla caramel oil forms a scent bubble that refuses to pop! I own and love many BSB body oils and this even outperforms those.

This is absolutely delicious smelling. I don't get the Anise. My body chemistry is picking up the Musk, Tonka, Carmel n Vanilla. On me it's giving intoxicating musky hot cotton candy OMFG. This is definitely a two bottle worthy purchase and a safe blind buy if you enjoy Gourmand and musk. This is a clean smelling musk not a powdery or floral musk. ITS WORTHY!!!! Go and get you some of this. 😁

This smells so good! My husband said I smell like an amaretti😂 This would be wonderful on its own or with a multitude of creamy rich gourmands. I have Cream Velvet, Escapade Gourmande, Her Confession, Bianco Latte, Eclaire, Angel’s Share, Love Don’t Be Shy, Molten and Date Caramel etc and these would all go well with Maitha. The anise is gorgeous! I smell like an Italian/Sicilian dessert.

Heavenly, all gourmand lovers rejoice! If you enjoy the same dna in Eclaire but not a fan of the alcohol content then you’ll enjoy this. If you’re a fan of Bianco Latte but not the price, this is a great alternative. My personal gripe with BL is, on my skin/nose it’s non-existent in contrast to this. A small dab of Maitha will do ya and weirdly I don’t even smell any anise.

Absolutely stunning perfume oil. Smells like warm spiced caramel, which isn't a combination I would have ever considered in the past but DAMN does it work. Very versatile; it stands well on its own or is incredibly useful as a base layer for perfume combos. Personally, I like to wear Maitha under Lattafa's Eclaire or BBW's Vanilla Café EDP! Outstanding performance :)

A beautiful caramelized sugar with marshmallowey depth. I love to mix this with different vanilla scents, and with florals, it makes for a Love Don't Be Shy feel. This is a powerhouse, if you say this is weak, you are nose blind. I wore it the other day and kept reapplying because I couldn't smell it until my siblings begged me to stop because it was so strong.

It's amazing, I own Khadlaj Cream Velvet and I've smelt Lattafa's Eclaire before, It compliments any vanilla perfume excellently. Smells like a sticky, sweet, amber creamy vanilla and it lasts the day on my skin. That 20ml goes a long way, I'm definately gonna check out the other Attars.

I've never smelled Escapade gourmand but if it smells like this oil, I want it. This oil is heavenly and addictive. It lasts and projects well too! It smells like a chewy vanilla caramel but not sickly sweet, like the perfect amount of sweetness. One of my best blind buys!

This just blew my mind 🤯 I don’t like oil perfume, but this is worth 3 back up bottles! It doesn’t smell rancid like other vanillas, it smells sweet and the caramel is real caramel scent, not some flowery mix. This is worth every penny if you like EG or Bl vibe perfumes

What I wanted Bianco latte to smell like. While Bianco latte smells like a cheap candle this is a well blended caramel scent with vanilla and spicy notes that balance the caramel out perfectly. I wish it came in an actual spray bottle.

This is a gourmand perfume oil that is great for layering on any winter vanilla, nutty or boozy scents. It can be mixed with your bodylotion for your skin to smell delicious all day long. Its totally worth it.

very much burnt sugar smell in a good way dries down sweeter than it smells and is a little spicy but the people around me said it smells like a sugar cookie maybe i just have a bad nose lol

idk how I feel abt this one I’ve been eying it for a min now n.... Yeaaaaaaaaaaa idk how I feel. Not a repurchase unless it macerates into something more rich but like I don’t hate it either? It’s soft spicy, I get no caramel, playdough smell somewhere in the base to me. It’s not really giving vanilla or caramel maybe I’m only getting the anise + musk notes? The hype was definitely.... Hyped. It’s okay n for the price that’s fine, it’s actually one of the better trendy perfumes to me of all the “this new vanilla is amazing!” recommendations online... it’s unique though! I didn’t own a soft spicy perfume yet and the bottles cute, I like that it’s an oil, probably going to layer it with a light spray like nemat vanilla. so I do like it just don’t feel this is giving everything people said it would. the playdough smell fades on the dry down to more of a caramel. not a signature scent but not like an omg don’t blind buy this!!— it’s good for the price n im sure it’ll macerate to something even better

I picked this up without smelling Escapade Gourmand, but based on the notes, reviews, and major TikTok hype, I thought it was a must. Amazingly, I got it brand new and sealed for £17 – prices have shot up since then. It’s a perfume oil, which I’ve never had before, so it’s a bit trickier to use, but that’s not a knock against it. I pick up the caramel, sweet vanilla notes, though it does have a slightly plasticky, Play-Doh, doll-head vibe. I haven’t fully tested it yet, but I mixed it with a body lotion and it was absolutely divine. I’m glad to have it in my collection, though I’m not sure I’d spend £30 on it. I do find myself going back just to smell the dabber, which I suppose is a good sign. Maybe I expected too much and expected it would be my ultimate gourmand, but overall, I do like it.

Smells amazing. Super sticky vanilla syrupy sweetness, just how I like to smell. Only problem, it only lasts all of 30 minutes. Glad I didn’t pay more than 20 bucks for it. But damn is it good while it lasts

I found this at my local Burlington and I immediately went to the register and bought it 😆 This is such a soft and sweet, fresh gourmand fragrance oil! I feel like this is perfect for all 4 seasons.

For what this is, Attar Maitha is very nice. I just wish I could actually SMELL it. When I AM able to grab a waft, or an aroma, the oil is very nice. Problem is I just cannot smell it. From the bottle, onto my skin...with the dabber, with my fingers...on pulse points, behind my neck...rubbed into my skin like body oil, etc, etc, etc. No matter WHAT I do, or how much I apply, I just cannot smell this extremely faint attar. Whenever I DO manage to smell something, I detect a play-doughy, caramel, vanilla mixture. For me, the play-dough note quickly passes. But then again, ALL the fragrance notes pass 'cause I simply cannot smell this fragrance. Disappointing.

You can tell it’s a cheap cheap oil. I mean it smells okay but no one can tell I have it on. It’s my own personal scent bc I smell it on myself. Meshes well with xerjoff shooting stars Cruz del sur ii. So hop out the show and put on the oil. But it’s not a strong oil at all which is so weird to me. I’ve gotten stronger concentrated fragrance oils from the beauty supply store that’s most likely made out of motor oil and a splash of acid. Anyway. I’m not disappointed that I bought it but I’ll never trust a tiktoker ever again. I wish it was stronger. Notes are correct

I got this and its light smelling my opinion and nothing to scream about. If you like something that will project this is not it. This is a faint light smelling choco musk or after Eclaire edp has died down after 4 hours. Its a skin scent . I like the smell but disappointed it doesnt have much power at all. Choco musk is stronger and even thats light, so with that said this oil is something to put on with a stronger fragrance but dont expect this to show itself much. Its ok, a bit faint. Prefer choco musk .

smells very similar to eclair, however the lasting power is not the best. i was expecting the lasting power to be great due to this being an oil, but it doesn't last more than an hour unfortunately. quite disappointed ☹️ a benzoin vanillic slightly caramel scent. EDIT: i put some on my clothes and it lasted only a little bit longer, so i guess thats a plus

I bought this once before and hated it. But I kept seeing overwhelming positive reviews and started wondering why I hated it so much. I must have had a bad batch because the second time around, it smells *amazing*! Just like my Falak and Matcha Latte. A really nice Escapade Gourmand dupe in oil form. I’m SO happy that I gave it another try.

This smells like black licorice on my skin. The note of anise is wayyyyy too strong. In the bottle, it smells amazing but on the skin - I can’t get over the smell of licorice

For people who enjoy a thicker, warm, slightly spiced vanilla this might be worth while for you. What to look out for is that very warm enveloping vanilla aspect that might become overwhelming for others. Similar to myself.

An oil that doesn't live up to its hype. I was hoping for a long lasting sweet vanilla but it did not last. Not good there are better ones out there.

Saw this at my local Burlington and got excited and picked it up. Glad I picked it up because it has taught me not to blind-buy any more. I'm so done with falling for internet hype. This oil was such a letdown. I get an overwhelmingly strong smell of burnt sweet plastic from this. I made an account on Fragrantica today just to write this. It is absolutely disgusting and I wish I hadn't wasted money on buying something that smells like this. My Al Rehab choco musk smells a 1000 times better. I own all kinds of perfume- niche, designer, and Middle Eastern, and this has got to be one of the worst things I have ever smelled.

This is disgusting. I blind buy it and it smells like a gingerbread cookie. The sillage is very intimate and it doesn't last long on skin or clothes. Even for layering I would not recommended it.

I received a bottle of this today after hunting down a few affordable options for layering. I regularly use Al Rehab’s Choco Musk as a base for a lot of my fragrances, so I was hoping this might offer a similar versatility with a slightly different twist. First impressions? I’m not convinced! It may well need some time to settle and mature, but right now it’s a very soft, sweet, and creamy scent that stays very close to the skin. It leans into that “dessert-adjacent” territory — not literally edible, but it gives the impression of something creamy like ice cream or custard, thats wrapped in a clean, airy musk. However, there’s just a really odd undertone that throws it off for me. Beneath the sweetness, I’m picking up something rubbery, almost plasticky — it oddly reminds me of clean tyres. It’s subtle, but noticeable enough to interrupt what would otherwise be a smooth, comforting fragrance. I’m hoping this is something that softens or disappears with time, because the core of the scent is genuinely pleasant. For now, though, I’m reserving judgment.
