Aura

I love this scent so much, I already have a backup bottle. When I first got this, it didn't seem to need any time to oxidize or mature, though others from the brand have. I liked BR540 and this is very similar, except that it smells sweeter and a bit stronger on me. In the case of both scents, I find that I do become a bit nose-blind to them, so that they end up subtle, but they are in fact both pervasive and long-lasting, for me both on fabric and skin. Wearing this is not the same as wearing a very loud (to yourself) scent bubble, but I do get periodic subtle hits of it, and when someone enters your-- well, scent-aura lol-- then it's noticeable, but it's not overpowering. This is a bit ironic to me since while most Lattafa scents I've bought are 3oz size, Aura is only 2oz, comparably-priced, and in a heavy af bottle where the body of it is mostly glass, not liquid. That said, light as it is, it doesn't take a lot, either; it just never becomes overly strong. I can put the lightest touch of Teriaq on me and it is ready to fill the room, but this is just mellow no matter what, like a ragdoll cat. A couple sprays at night will still be with me when I wake up in the morning-- ever mild but still more than a skin scent. All that said, ngl, I actually prefer Aura to BR; even if the latter had been priced the same, Aura just wears better and like I said, a bit sweeter on me, warm without being sharp at all. It smells like a hug, but without being apropos to a laundry detergent. I expect I will always want to have an extra bottle of this around, and while I can't say whether it's the best dupe compared to similar offerings, I really like it as-is. My literal only complaint here is that I'd rather have a lighter bottle with 3oz instead lol. I think this is best a night but works well for daytime, and while I wouldn't wear it on the hottest summer days outdoors, I think it's fine indoors. It skews fall/winter imo, and reminds me of curling up by a fire with a book even without being remotely smoky. That's just the vibe it has. I guess I might describe it as dark academia-coded, if you will? It's very sexy home library, piano at night or on a rainy day, quiet cocktail and good book under a nice blanket. Very rainy day comfort.

I can't believe the quality Lattafa always delivers at their prices. I don't know about any other clones/ dupes of BR540, but I do know that this is about 95% close. It's new, so I haven't been able to test performance, but for the price I don't expect this to have p/l/s like the OG. I'm still VERY impressed!

Don't know about br540 as i do not own it but this is spot on to Snif's Sweet Ash which is $40 higher in price.

One of the strongest Baccarat Rouge 540 clone but with an issue, you go easily nose blind with it. First time i tried it, i tought it was weak as f*ck because i couldn't smell it anymore after 2 hours, but hell no, i was wrong. People around me could easily smell it after 10+ hours and i didn't expect that at all. In terms of how close is to BR 540, i would say 90% expect the opening which is slightly different. Dry down is identical to Armaf Club De Nuit Untold and Maison Alhambra Baroque Rouge 540. Presentation is top notch! Stay away from Ana Abyedh Rouge (GARBAGE) and get this instead.

I knew this was a BR540 snoop because I went nose-blind to it after about 10 minutes lol. The opening was a bit dry and too woody for me until it transformed into a lovely blend with some sweetness. Overall, a really nice scent. Worth your money if you enjoy the BR540 dna.

The openig it is bit salty and nutty. After drying down it is very close to BR540 extrait to my nose.The projection is moderate but lasts for a long time.Good alternative to The extrait.

This is a watered-down Baccarat Rouge 540 Eau de parfum. It is a pretty nice dupe, but I tend to stop smelling it on me after an hour or so, which doesn't happen with the original.

Aura has that baccarat rouge DNA that has been done by so many brands, however, there is an undeniable strong white musk that is present that makes the fragrance not as smooth as the OG or even other popular dupes on the market. Glad I only bought a sample as this fragrance would likely collect dust on my shelf.

It smells NOTHING. During spraying, Just a hint of typical middle eastern vibe - some smoky smell. Within minutes it smells absolutely nothing. Like other reviewers claimed, I too nose blind to its smell. Total waste of money (for me). I let it macerate for two weeks, same. Nothing.

This is actually not that close to BR540. I've been testing it together with the original and even though they both have something (not much) in common, this is a green-woody one and not sweet at all. You won't get this ambiguity of dentist office /cotton candy. Only muscle pain relief cream and ambergris. The balsam fir mentioned in the pyramid is quite distinctive and this make it a little 'medical' which probably should be a reference to BR540, but ...the original one has also a very pleasant sweetness and the original one has a unique combination of being pretty strong but at the time kind of invisible. It's like you feel it and don't and the same time. It reminds me of a cloud ( and probably not only me :) ) or fog because it's fluffy and big and you may even think you can touch, but when you try to...there's nothing. While this perfume is like cotton wool. Yeah, it's white and fluffy, but I don't you can confuse it with a cloud when you see it. And if you touch, you definitely can feel it. And the musk is also distinctive. Be aware. This is not the musk typically used in Eu/US designer fragrances. This is closer to the Arabian type that sometimes try to drill into your brain. It's ok, but the original is much better. If you like it, don't try the ori, 'cause there's a chance you' won't be able to 'unfeel' the difference.

I smell nothing. I think I'm one of those nose blind to it. I've tried a few times. Nothing! Good to know so I never buy BR540
