Awaan

I don't even know where to begin other than this might be my favorite blind by for Arab fragrances in general. I would consider this to be mature but, so am I so that makes sense right? It leans very floral on me and it smells expensive in my opinion. Like I would imagine a well put together, businesswoman who's probably rich, or a rich woman in general who is in her thirties to '50s maybe, wearing this. I don't remember if this is unisex or not but it definitely leans more feminine. I think this would be a better scent for cooler weather versus warm but that's just my opinion. I don't get one singular note that stands out higher than any other but this is one of my favorite perfumes I own. I think if you have or you lean towards more mature florals or that entire vibe, I think of like Chanel allure etc, I think this would probably be pleasing to you. It definitely smells more expensive than it actually is.

Awaan is like Fakhar but the mid's and base without the grape notes and then amplifies the citrus, woods and spices..this is so unique and good. I will be buying a back-up. It's a juicy citrus mixed with a spicy creamy sandalwood and white florals..Has that Narciso Rodriguez feel a little bit with the white florals and musk, but the juicy candy like citrus is so different here mixed with the spices that gives it so much character. Fakhar and Awaan are different enough to own both and both are phenomenal for what you pay. They make me happy and are some of my favorite new fragrances.

It is a truly beautiful green fragrance, fresh florals, and sweet citrus. This is a beautiful bubble gummy scent once it dries down. I recommend to spray this fragrance once you get it, and allow it to macerate for a week. People are saying it smells like Fakhar or L’interdit, however Awaan stand on its own and smells much more refined compared to both of those DNA’s. Beautiful fragrance! Reminds me of a blend of L'Interdit with a splash of Oriana, then softened around the edges with some musk. The patchouli is very well blended IMO. Just gorgeous!!! I'm very impressed with this one. Floral, citrus, and a hint of fluffy sweetness. It's new to my collection so I can't speak on performance quite yet but the fragrance itself is stunning. A hugely successful blind buy.

This fragrance reminded me of back when i was a child, playing around with my friends in the summer, and only stopping when my mom would call me to have some moroccan tea and biscuts. Even tough i am a man, this perfume was a 9/10, mint tea openning and then cooling down into a wonderfull bubble gum scent.

OMG 🔥🔥🔥🔥 " This blind buy was absolutely worth it all of the notes an it's " Sillage " exceeded my expectations definitely need at least 2 more bottles for keeps sake. The packaging an quality 10 /10

Don’t listen to the naysayers. If you live bergamot, this is a no brainer for your collection. Like this one more than Bergamot 22 at times.

However, this gives way to sweet bubble gum fruit in the mid and finally warm powder and wood and patchouli musk on the drydown. Overall, it's a very nice blend of sweet, citurs, floral, powdery, woody, fruity and patchouli musk aromas. This is multi-faceted and unisex, though some male users may find it leans too feminine for them due to the florals. This is great for cooler weather and to be used on social occasions and date nights. Not for those who dislike sweet fragrances or florals. Performance is strong and the price is decent. Double box presentation is a bit wasteful. Overall, a very good fragrance. Recommended.

So this is insanely strong. For the first day it was so potent that it almost had a Vicks Vaporub scent to it, like I thought my nose and throat were about to start tingling. The scent itself smells just like Fakhar Rose from Lattafa, which smells like a super sweet version of L'interdit(sweet and spicy white floral with a bubblegum vibe.) I like Fakhar Rose better than L'interdit, just because it's sweeter and doesn't have that overly synthetic spicy note that makes me nauseas. Awaan is somewhere in the middle when it comes to spice. It's so intensely sweet and the spice is coming across like a black licorice vibe. I happen to like the smell of black licorice so for me it's pleasant. There's a faint touch of citrus throughout the whole composition that smells like oranges. Despite being so intense that it reminded me of Vicks, my daughter walked into the bathroom after I sprayed it and said "It smells GOOD in here." When I told her it was my perfume she said she wanted to drink it 😂 So I guess I was the only one getting the medicinal smell. I would probably repurchase this because it's a beast mode version of Fakhar Rose, and for me that one was already kinda beast mode so this is on another level.

I brought this to work to layer on my other fragrances that lean into that sweet white floral as I lose the smell over the course of the day... and let me just say on someone else I love this fragrance. It is so beautiful with a nice silage. I find I don't reach for it often, but I really might gift the bottle to my coworker because she has sprayed it on herself a couple times now and it's beautiful on her. As far as lasting power I sprayed this, Sondos and Fakhar Rose on three different shirts to smell them with my boyfriend (I find the three to be very similar but not the same) and I found the shirt in my closet the other day and it still smells distinctly like Awaan (Sondos also was still distinct on the shirt that I sprayed with that one). If you like sweet florals, citrus and patchouli this one is for you, and you will smell good wearing it.

Yaaaay I've been waiting for this one to be put in the database. I really really really enjoy Awaan. This is fizzy citrus, sweet orange blossom and muted jasmine, drizzled in something caramel-esque. There is also something in the composition that comes off as bubblegummy and I'm going to assume its the orange blossom. This is a very candy sweet and elegant white floral, but it's wearable enough that you can dress it up from running errands to going out for dinner, it's super multifaceted. There is a slightly artificial note in here that leans plastic/rubbery, but it's incredibly faint and not enough to detract from the overall composition. As usual, for Lattafa, smells much more expensive than it actually is. And I live in New Zealand where there is a HUGE markup for arab perfumes, and even still it ends up being cheaper than it should be.

Awaan by Lattafa popped up as an Amazon recommendation while browsing. The price was right so I gave it a toss into my cart. Lattafa and their packaging is always spectacular! I was a bit nervous about the scent because sometimes the color of Lattafa's bottles is a hint to the scent. A green bottle. I am not really into "green" fragrances. To my surprise and delight, the actual scent is a beautiful blind buy! Day one spray, I am not getting the tuberose - sweet comparisons to Lattafa's Ansaam Gold or Giogio Armani's My Way. What I am getting are scent notes that all play well together that create a beautiful UNISEX blend. I sprayed the scent on my forearm and it's lasted ALL DAY. It's not too loud or obnoxious but definitely has staying power. If you get Awaan, I hope it's a WINNER for you too!

This character of this Fragrance is Youthful, leaning more on the casual side of perfumes. Feminine and very sweet, clean and room-filling. Winter Fragrance and extremely projecting. Smells like Hubba Bubba chewing gum but a little bit more floral and soapy. That very sweet achord stays throughout. Can be used in the summer or in High heat weather but you will only have to spray it one time if in a closed Room, two or three if you are going outside. Very casual and definetely not an Office scent, since it is very projecting and mixed with one's body heat will project even further. I bought it for me and I am Man, really apreciated the frgarance but not on me since it leans towards the feminine side.

For me the tuberose in this is very strong which means it lands more on that bubblegum side of fragrances. On the dry-down though this becomes a really fresh sweet scent. Lasts so long on clothes and hair that I learned quickly not to over-spray this one. If you like sweet scents that lean slightly floral this one is for you. Musk and patchouli in this one add a nice depth to it. Overall I am happy to have this one in my collection and as I wear it more I am excited to pin down what vibe I get from it. Right now it's a sweet floral with hints of citrus and patchouli which is beautiful but I am hoping I get the candied citrus smell that some others have reported.

Maceration is key with this one. When I first got it I didnt get any of the caramelised citrus that people were talking about. It was just very woody and almost leathery. After around 6 months it's just lovely! It's citrusy but not really bright, almost velvety like a really ripe Algarve orange! The orange blossom really shines and makes this delicate and ever so slightly floral! The creamy sandalwood ties it all together! Really, really pretty and special! It has great projection and really good longevity!

I get similarities between Awaan and L'interdit Rouge about 75% similarity at first spray, Awaan is sharper and L'interdit Rouge is creamier. I actually don't get the closeness to L'interdit edp, Very close to L'Intercode Rouge by Milestone (a L'interdit Rouge dupe) at first spray but it gets further apart as they develop. It lasts forever on clothes. Sandalwood prominent beginning to end, cut slightly by the florals. because sandalwood is heavy, it can be unisex comfortably.

I didn't get it, at first. The reviews are great but I'm wasn't digging this at all.✋🏽🙄 I've heard you have to let the Middle East fragrances sit for a while for them to unfold. I'll let her sit a few weeks!!! Sept 1st - yass! This has changed to a sweet, tart, tangy, yummy fragrance! Im getting Mon Paris, Armani Si. It's in those genres to my nose. Its sweet, nice. Maceration is key!! Let it sit.

I am shocked by how many people I see, that do not like the fragrance!!!!! I do not get a heavy stinky musk at all. I get a very powdery, marshmallow, sweet floral. It almost reminds me of Love Dont Be Shy but less dimensional and without the weird spice to the marshmallow note. I love the citrus opening with the orange blossom. I suggest testing this one out first!

Not a safe or blind buy, I have let it sit for over 8 month and it has become better, but still sharp and not smooth in my opinion. Heard it's similar to Safanad but it's not in my opinion :) still some might enjoy this profile UPDATE: Ok it has changed alot since i commented, its so beautiful now i will happily wear it , wasn't the case before. Sharpness is gone :)

I get about 50% similarity to L'interdit intense. It gives the same "vibe", but I actually feel this one is prettier since that is the one flanker that I like the least- yet I adore ROUGE. This is lighter, more airy & doesn't have that note that gives the "grape" feel to it. It is really pretty and this bottle is truly stunning

I have a love-hate relationship with this one. The opening had a noticeable grape note to me, which I personally didn’t enjoy, so keep that in mind if you’re planning to blind buy it. It starts off really strong, then softens as it dries down. Not terrible, but not particularly pleasant to my nose either.

I didn't like this fragrance on paper, but on my skin, it is a delicate floral patchouli. I have been getting more into patchouli as a note, but I still do not want it strong. Awaan is another "luxury dryer sheet" perfume for me, similar to Libre, which is okay, because I do love this family of scent!

A bit strong but smeells good after couple of mins. Typicall oriental fragrance

This is really, really nice. Like a minty, citrusy, slightly green version of Fakhar Rose. I totally understand why people describe this as smelling like candy or bubblegum—it's sweet and juicy and lovely, a little fuzzy and prickly in a very pleasant way. It makes me think a tiny bit of Sprite, but more so of candied limes, even though I have no idea what candied limes smell like. Probably because the bottle's green, but I digress. When I was standing in a crowded room wearing Awaan, a bunch of people started asking "Who is it that smells so good?" and sniffing around until they found me—which tbh was kinda embarrassing, but also very flattering lol. I will say—and I'm so sorry if this ruins the perfume for you, because it might've for me—there was one day, when, after trying a bunch of perfumes, I suddenly got a pickled scent in the opening of Awaan. Nothing unbearable or revolting that made me hate it or never want to use it again, but yes, there was an ever-so-slight pickled note. I think this was the patchouli I was picking up on. But to be honest, I think my nose just got a little confused, because I used it again today and I loved it. So yeah, just don't think about pickles when smelling it lol. If you are a patchouli hater though, maybe be careful. All in all, I really do love this perfume. And its performance was very good for me—noticeably stronger and longer-lasting than Fakhar Rose. I'm not getting any of the caramelized citrus people are mentioning, but I don't mind lol—I already love it. It's a beautiful, versatile, year-round fragrance that's both mass-appealing and still a little unique. Signature-scent worthy for sure. Highly recommend! Edit: Okay, this is still a love for me, because it is my most complimented scent ever and it very much feels like ME in a fragrance...but I have to tell you guys, after I worked out wearing this perfume, the smell of it mixed with my BO on my sports bra was NOT IT. Like, I know my sweat is never going to smell GOOD, but the musky dry-down lowkey amplified it lol. There is a unisex element of the dry-down that never really bothered me before, but mixed with my BO...it gave boy's locker room a little. To be fair, I really drenched it on that day, and it was hot, and I was working out super hard, but yeah, I will have to be a little more cautious about wearing this when I know I'm going to be sweating. Edit #2: I stand corrected. Apparently sandalwood is the most likely culprit for a pickle smell. Weirdly, I still understand why I got that vibe, but it doesn't bother me anymore lol. I very briefly thought I hated this for a couple days when my allergies were flaring up IN CONJUNCTION with a cold (rip my nose), but I love it again now, including the more challenging aspects like the minty, spicy patchouli and fluffy, musky sandalwood.

Awaan is nothing like L’Interdit! It’s unisex to me, and not at all floral. What I’m getting is... Gin Hass. Pure Gin Hass in the opening (yes the drink, the lime, the lemonade, the gin, even a bit of a green leaf on top). And for a few minutes it smells like the first Gin Hass you drink. The night is young, the bartender is hot and mixed the drink to perfection. After about 30 minutes it smells like the last Gin Hass you ever wanna drink, like the way a Gin Hass would smell the moment you feel nauseous after too many drinks. Then it dries down to a citrusy patchouli. At this point it can lean a bit masculine, but it’s perfectly unisex. Patchouli comes forward, it’s green, a bit spicy, still very citrusy fresh with the citrus in the background.

well well well...here we are, almost a year later, and unfortunately, it's unwearable for me now. i'm pretty sure the perfume changed, and the musk is insanely strong and stinky now. the drydown this left on my clothes was insane and would not wash off. i loved it so much at first, so i will still give lattafa props for that lovely minty lime bubblegum opening, but yeah, i'm scared to spray it now lol. it's so strong and the musk is so stinky, i cannot do it.

How very odd... read all the reviews and decided to blind buy based off them, I’m getting a very light fragrance, citrus, bergamot and a very slight hint of patchouli. Seems to have skipped out the middle floral notes altogether. It’s pleasant enough, but beast mode it is not. Smells more European than ME. Hermes esq cologne vibe... Will come back to it in summer...

I bought a 20ml sample for 3€ because my wife likes perfumes with jasmine and orange blossom. After 30 minutes I can only smell candied oranges (or grape sugar) on my skin, no jasmine, no woods... Maybe needs more macerate. 4/10 - let's see what my wife has to say about it For people who wrote that smells like Coco Mademoiselle just LOL

I loved this when I first got it, it got better over time but now I’ve had it maybe a year....its changed again, not sure if it’s gone bad or it’s matured a step to far for my liking, the bright sweetness has gone and I’m not sure what I’m smelling now it’s unrecognisable.

Starts warm, mouth-watering orange blend w/flowery woods. An oud-y musk comes out in the dry down which makes it lean more masculine. Stays forever, especially on clothes.

This fragrance is so sweet!! I get a mix of Givenchy L'interdit Rouge and Swiss Arabian Shaghaf Oud for some reason. Not sure what I think of it yet.

I’m decluttering this. 😔 I really wanted to like this. This is a white floral orange bubblegum scent, very sweet and linear. Some citrus, but it does nothing to balance it out. There is nothing fresh about this. This has the potential to be nauseating, and I would never use this in the summer heat. A bit too young, sweet, uninteresting and linear. This fragrance smells like it could turn very bad on some skins, and could be very bad if you get warm, because this will not mix well if you get sweaty.. 😔 I think it’s because of the sickly blend of sweetness, jasmine, orange blossoms and patchouli. I’m not sure when to use this. To cloying in summer and warm spring as it lacks freshness, and no dept, warmth or interest for autumn and winter use.

I've had Awaan for around 3yrs now and at first the grape note was really prominent to me. It reminded me of Estee Lauder Youth Dew and it still does but now I get a menthol or eucalyptus accord that I don't like.

I just got this in the mail and it was an instant regret. The patchouli and orange in this is ridiculously strong. It’s definitely has a moderate silage and great longevity but all that for a scent that is nauseating and screechy. I don’t think anyone would want to smell like this for 12+ hours. Worst middle eastern purchase. I’ll update y’all if it improves after maturating

Sadly, this was such a miss for me. One of the worst scents I've ever had the displeasure of experiencing. All I got was citrus with sharp sandalwood, reminiscent of generic men's aftershave. I could smell it around me all day even after scrubbing it off, so the longevity is good. I gave it a try on a couple of occasions, but it's a no for me.

I love this so much I bought a backup! When the bottle was new, the opening hit me as similar to L’Interdit or Fakhar but after wearing nearly a month I’m picking up the additional orange, wood and carmelish overtones. It’s beautiful alone, but I’ve been layering over some sweet woody scents, like Lattafa Tobacco Touch and Woody Oud and it’s a very nice way to wear these since they are a little too masculine for me! It lasts a good 6 hours too so definitely worth buying!

I am enjoying this the more it sits. I do see the resemblance to L’Intredit and Fakhar. However, I find this even more bubble gum sweet. I do detect the patchouli in this while I don’t really in Fakhar. As far as citrus, I don’t perceive this a citrusy. It is a sweet bubble gum fruit to me. Luu Luu on YouTube compared this to Zebra stripe gum, and I can see that comparison.

Just received this today. can definitely smell orange,tuberose, patchouly so far. even though tuberose is not listed... so far I like it and almost has a lipstick cosmetic smell.. going to let it sit for a month or two and see what I end up with as Middle Eastern perfumes definitely have to sit and macerate.

To me it feels like a bit different flanker of L'interdit, same as Rouge flanker is quite different from og, but they both definitely have the DNA of original L'interdit. Think of this like a mediterranean and a bit of oriental flanker

I wish I could smell what other people are smelling. I get a hot, overbearing, green patchouli followed by an unbelievably rank carmalized, pickled sandalwood. Super strong and long lasting. My most hated fragrance.

This is the smell of a clean hotel! Soapy ... way too musky. Arabic clean. Hard to explain. Its musky sweet not candy sweet. Linear, not interesting.

Smells like powdered bubblegum strips. I've never got bubblegum from white florals before so this is super strange to me.

It has the exact same notes as Lattafa's Abaan... but it's not the same
